Three more possibles for 2020 US Elections – all without birth time so to be treated with a degree of caution. Beto O’Rourke, born 26 September 1972 El Paso, Texas, is an exceptionally determined and confident Sun Pluto in Libra conjunct Mars in late Virgo, all square Jupiter in Capricorn. His Saturn in Gemini is square Mars and which will make him hard-working, short-tempered. His Saturn is also trine Uranus, sextile Venus in sociable Leo – innovative, charming, a good networker.

He’s up and down this year but what will really do for his chances in 2020 is tr Neptune square his Saturn from late April onwards which is uncertain, confused, perhaps a scandal popping up. And from late May 2020 tr Uranus starts to square his Mars/Saturn midpoint which suggests rolling crises. Both these influences run into early 2021.

Jay Inslee, 9 February 1951, Governor of Washington, pro-drug law reform, education, climate change and against the Muslim ban, is a Sun Aquarius opposition Pluto and trine Neptune, so not short of ambition or determination. He’s also got a super-exuberant and compassionate Mars, Jupiter, Venus in Pisces.  He has some highs and successes this year but also Neptune tugging away at his confidence all year as well; 2020 is similarly up and down. But there’s nothing spectacularly positive – without a birth time.

John Hickenlooper, 7 February 1952, Colorado Governor, is an even more determined Sun Aquarius opposition Pluto; with a super-charged Cardinal Grand Square of Jupiter in Aries opposition Saturn square Uranus (Moon) in Cancer opposition Venus in Capricorn – bubbling over with initiative, restless, going off in all directions at once. He’s also got a sharp-tongued Mercury in Aquarius square Mars in Scorpio. He looks confused and uncertain through this year with nothing much positive until February 2020 when he gets an a high-octane injection of enthusiasm and maybe success. Though it could be he pulls out through this year and that’s because of other projects.

Actresses Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) and Lori Loughlin (Full House), along with 50 others, many of them celebrities or CEOs of major companies, have been accused of paying massive bribes to get their children into America’s top colleges. They have been released on bail.

Felicity Huffman, 9 December 1962,is a Sun Sagittarius with a pushily confident and risk-taking Jupiter opposition Pluto Uranus; and a flamboyant Mars in Leo with a determined Venus Neptune in Scorpio square Saturn in Aquarius and a Taurus Moon.  Tr Neptune is squaring her Sun now and that runs on into early 2020. She’s also got a scary/trapped tr Pluto square her Sun/Mars midpoint running through this year.

Her husband William Macy (Shameless TV series), who hasn’t been charged, 13 March 1950, is a downbeat Sun Pisces opposition Saturn in Virgo and has tr Neptune opposing his Saturn this year and squaring the Sun/Saturn midpoint into 2020 for a longish phase of uncertainty and worry.  His relationship chart with Felicity looks more than edgy this year into next with tr Uranus elbowing the composite Sun opposition Uranus square Neptune.

Lori Loughlin, 28 July 1964, is a Sun Leo with Jupiter in indulgent Taurus in a head-in-the-clouds opposition to Neptune. Tr Uranus is squaring her Sun from June onwards and before then she has a series of disaster-prone Uranus hard aspects to three different Mars midpoints, running on and off into 2020.  So a fairly catastrophic year for her.

Her daughter Olivia Jade, 28 September 1999, at college since last autumn, is a social media influencer with close to two million YouTube subscribers and over a million Instagram followers. She’s a Sun Libra trine Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius, sextile Pluto – super-ambitious and highly strung. She’s also got an ultra-determined Plus Mars in Sagittarius; a flashy Venus in Leo; and a can-be autocratic Saturn in money-minded Taurus square Uranus; plus an indulgent Jupiter in Taurus. She looks seriously deflated now with tr Neptune square her Mars.

The children are not involved in the criminal proceedings but it isn’t clear whether their position at college will be affected. Clearly her social influencing will take a nosedive.

The mastermind behind it all is Rick Singer, 18 September 1960, who has pleaded guilty to federal criminal charges including money laundering, racketeering, obstruction of justice and tax evasion in connection with the $25 million scheme to help parents fraudulently game the college admissions system.

He has a Virgo Sun on the focal point of a T Square to an opportunistic Jupiter opposition Mars in Gemini. Mars Jupiter in hard aspect can be self-interested, described by Sakoian & Acker as a soldier of fortune. ‘In extreme cases avarice and dishonesty occur.’ A Mutable focal point Sun will be ego-centric, can be conceited and know-it-all, headstrong. His Jupiter in crusading Sagittarius is also in an adventurous trine to Uranus, sextile a charming and sociable Venus in Libra. Well designed as a conman.

He’s also got a tough-minded Saturn in Capricorn trine Pluto, sextile Neptune.

The EU, China, India, Hong Kong, New Zealand and United Arab Emirates and others have ordered the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max 8, while investigators work to find the cause of an Ethio­pian Airlines crash that killed 157 this week. It may be similar to the same model Boeing plane crash last October in Indonesia which killed 189 people.

After Trump consulted with the Boeing CEO U.S. aviation safety officials decided not to issue a temporary ban on the plane. This was later reversed when evidence emerged suggesting similarities to the previous crash.

When the October 2018 crash occurred tr Saturn was opposition the Boeing Pluto Venus in Cancer – which is the chart area that was being heavily stressed in 2008 and the aftermath during the crash by tr Pluto in opposition.

The Boeing Jupiter in Taurus square Neptune in Leo is being elbowed from mid April for two weeks, and again across the year end which is tricky to evaluate. Tr Uranus conjunct Jupiter should bring luck and relief but with Neptune involved it could burst a false-happiness, over-confidence bubble.

What’s for sure is that after the grinding transformation of 2019/2020, the following year 2021 will see setbacks of a major order as the Solar Arc Saturn opposes the Boeing Jupiter and squares the Neptune; followed in 2022/23 by the panicky-failure tr Neptune opposition the Boeing Mars.

Denmark and New Zealand give all the appearance of being quiet, law-abiding havens, yet they have astonishingly challenging charts which suggest otherwise.  So the astrology isn’t surprised to learn that Denmark has the highest prevalence of sexual violence in Europe according to several studies; and New Zealand has the highest rate of family violence in the developed world.

Denmark, 5 June 1849 12.15 pm Copenhagen, has an afflicted Mars in assertive/aggressive Aries conjunct Saturn trine the Moon – there are always elements of cruelty wrapped up in Mars Saturn. Mars is also trine Jupiter in flashy Leo and sextile the Sun which opposes the Moon, so there will be a showy streak in the Danish character. There’s also a tumultuous Uranus Pluto and Venus in indulgent Taurus in the intense and secretive 8^th.

New Zealand 17 January 1853 12 am Wellington, NZ, has a 4^th house Sun Mars in Capricorn which has a decidedly masculine and argumentative/aggressive feel in the chart area of home and family; and that squares onto an enraged and cornered Pluto and volatile and explosive Uranus. So tensions will flare up all too easily.

Like the Denmark chart, the Moon trines Jupiter, to give a sugar coating to the underlying realities of home and women.

Well that’s one mystery solved.  I never understood either chart until these stats emerged.

Jess Phillips is that rarity at Westminster, a politician that tells the truth, brick batting her own chief, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn with as much enthusiasm as she does Theresa May. The Times described her as ‘fearless and funny, riotous and rebellious, maverick and mischievous.’

Her Mercury is in Scorpio and unaspected, which can have a tendency to single-mindedness.

The difference of a few days gives her marginally better influences than Ilhan Omar in the near future though there are a couple of downers especially from this May which will dent her certainty. But she’s also got some cheer from a lucky break Solar Arc Jupiter conjunct Uranus, probably later this year; and some Jupiterian uplift in 2020.

His Neptune (Moon) in Libra was trine Venus, sextile Pluto, so he would be charismatic.   It’s not a particularly druggy chart though Sun Saturn in Cancer would give him a depressive streak. Mars on Algol wouldn’t help. And he had marked self-defeating 10^th and 16^th Harmonics.

Paris Jackson, the model and actress daughter of Michael Jackson, has been speaking out, urging calm after the Leaving Neverland documentary caused an uproar about her late father’s abuse of young boys. She was brought up in Jackson’s sole custody along with an older and a younger brother who led heavily restricted lives in public, being forced to wear veils and masks. Her concern is it will ruin her acting career; though it must also create considerable psychological turmoil being forced to face what presumably she semi-knew but may have blocked out. In her early teens she was an intravenous drug user and attempted suicide several times.

Born 3 April 1998 6.26 am Los Angeles, she does have a very stressed chart with a hidden 12^th house Sun Mercury in Aries and more significantly Saturn exactly conjunct Mars in Aries also in the 12^th. Mars Saturn at its most basic is cruelty; can be warped sexually since Mars is the libido and Saturn blocks it; always comes with major anger issues.  She’s also got a Yod of a held-back-by-circumstances-beyond-her-control 8^th house Pluto sextile a rebellious 10^th house Uranus inconjunct a 3^rd house Cancer Moon. A Yod apex Moon tends to be emotionally disorganized, overly defensive, tending to shy away from relationship difficulties.  She was separated from her mother from birth which won’t have helped with a Cancer Moon – her nurturing would come from siblings, being 3rd house.

Her relationship chart with her ‘father’ was bleak with a Grand Trine of composite Sun Mercury trine Pluto trine Saturn; with Sun Mercury opposition Neptune – controlling, defensive, emotionally cold, suspicious, evasive. Plus an explosive composite Moon Mars opposition Uranus. Not much affection or friendliness showing.

Her elder brother Prince Michael Jackson Jnr, 13 February 1997 1.06am also has a seriously stressed Mars, in his case in Libra, opposition Saturn in forced-to-be-self-reliant Aries and sextile Pluto. Though that fits into a lucky, adventurous Half Grand Sextile involving Jupiter Uranus as well – which may well be his saving grace. But the unkindness of his childhood is writ large.

The youngest brother Blanket, 21 February 2002 has less strain on his Mars in Aries; but has a highly sensitive Venus in Pisces on the focal point of a T Square to a bleak Saturn (and Moon?) in Gemini opposition Pluto; with his Pisces Sun trine Jupiter and also square Saturn.  It’s a Water Air chart so he will find it tricky to maintain a balance between his feelings and his rational functions.

Paris is going through a very tough patch with tr Uranus conjunct her Ascendant now as the documentary is aired; with tr Saturn conjunct her midheaven for a reality check. And a scary, trapped and discouraging tr Pluto square her Saturn Mars picking up the exact aspect this month and running on and off till late 2020. She’ll need a good deal of support.

What a messed up family of kids.

Paul Manafort has been handed a controversially short sentence of four years on charges of financial fraud – a prison term that amounts to one-fifth of the lightest punishment recommended in the guidelines. But he’s also due for sentencing next week on separate charges under a different judge which could carry a term of 10 years.

There’s nothing much showing on Manafort’s chart (without a birth time) until May when he looks depressed and uncertain. He’ll get an uplift in June and a more major piece of good news in July and across the summer. Though 2020 is catastrophic from his point of view; 2021 may have a stroke of luck as his Solar Arc Jupiter is conjunct his Mars – pardon?

White collar crime always gets more lenient sentences than others; and the judge is known for his pro-Trump views and contrary court decisions. Born 15 May 1940 Judge TS Ellis 111 is a stalwart and stubborn Sun Uranus in Taurus trine Neptune; with his Sun exactly conjunct Trump’s midheaven. What is more than clear astrologically speaking is his dislike of Mueller. Their relationship chart has a hostile Mars Pluto Venus sextile Saturn Uranus; which is getting jittered and jangled by tr Uranus in square last year and this.

Ellis’s relationship chart with Trump isn’t exactly warm with a composite Sun Saturn but it isn’t anyways near as bad as with Mueller.
