  1. US media is reporting that Russian military commander Rustam Minnekaev slipped that the second phase of Putin’s “special operation” is focused on establishing a “land corridor” from the Donbas all the way to Moldova. This will involve an invasion into part of Moldova. This will shake up everyone in the area and probably just the beginning of the expansion into neighboring counties.

  2. A Macron win today but not a resounding victory since many voted against LePen rather than for Macron. I would imagine his forthcoming problems (as per Marjorie’s recent post) will be caused by parliamentary election outcomes, an extremely divided electorate in France like the US, combined with the on-going ramifications of the Ukraine/Russia war.

  3. Next week Stonewall faces Alison Bailey in court.

Hot on the heels of the UK Secretary of State for health announcing an inquiry into gender clinics. Comparing affirmative only treatment, to the silence and fear around grooming gangs.

The era of “no debate” seems to be a thing of the past.

    Interesting times.

  4. “February 2, 1930 the Presidium of all-Soviet Union Council of National Economy, the USSR, decided on construction of a new Iron & Steel Works in Mariupol. On November 7, 1930 first concrete was laid in the foundation of the first blast furnace at Azovstal Iron & Steel Works in the festive atmosphere”. Hoping dearly that they will all get out. It’s sickening. Any insights Marjorie if you have time?

  5. Russia has announced that it seeks control of Transnistria, in Moldova, to “protect the the rights of Russian speakers…” Transnistria is a breakaway Russian-occupied part of Moldova.

“Moldova summons Russian ambassador after Russia announces goal to access Moldovan state” (“https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-04-22-22/”)

Moldova is not a member of NATO.

  6. Yesterday, I was perusing the internet regarding Madeleine McCann, the little girl that disappeared in Portugal 2007. Today, I read in the news a suspect has been charged. Any astrological insights into this Marjorie?

  7. Hi, Marjorie, I’m wondering if Netflix’s financial troubles (declining subscribership and a 35% drop in the value of its shares) will cause it to review its $100 million contract with Harry and Meghan? The company has suffered reputational damage among the many who don’t like H & M and aren’t impressed with their filming of the Invictus Games and outside Windsor Castle for their own profit. The “Pearl” project seems to have disappeared. And to cap it off, Harry has just participated in a second interview with a U.S. T.V. network which is NOT Netflix despite the streaming giant paying him big bucks for some of his royal jelly… (If I were with Netflix, this would royally tick me off.) What’s to stop Netflix pushing through the Invictus documentary and then sueing H and M for failure to provide promished content — to the cheers of a lot of people?

  8. Hi Marjorie, I am curious about what shows up in a birth chart in relation to a person’s health. I have Uranus at 28 degrees Cancer (1st) being hit by the current Pluto in Capricorn which is also about to transit my Chiron at 0 degrees Aquarius (8th). I am still recovering from a protracted second bout of Covid-19 despite vaccinations and booster, while no one else in my family caught it. I make jokes that they must have given me a placebo but I find myself wondering if I am particularly susceptible because of this transit. Since the Covid infection itself I have developed a lactose intolerance which I did not have before and my balance has been severely compromised causing me to fall off my bike and made me fearful of using it. I also read somewhere that Christopher Reeve’s quadriplegia following his riding accident can be seen in his birth chart. Can these things be seen, if so, how can one discern that in one’s own chart? I suppose it could even be whole branch of astrology in itself.

      • @JB: no cruising through 9th/10th, but I did happen to notice that the asteroid Psyche is transiting my natal Mercury in 3rd, so maybe “it’s all in the mind” (ha ha). I hope so. It has to be said I didn’t hurt myself when I fell. It really is a matter of what you focus on, IMO. THANKS for your concern, I appreciate it. I need to learn more about this fascinating subject.

  9. Marjorie, I’ve just been looking at your article on Olaf Scholz, 21st December 2021 and I recommend it to other posters/readers. It makes for an intriguing read in the light of events.

  10. Hello Marjorie
What’s your take on Horary Astrology? If your interested and have time I just asked “ will Boris Johnson resign this year”? 12:56 pm London W7
If too busy no worries and thanks for all the fine work

  11. A thought about fate and destiny, based on some articles I read on Archie Dunlop’s website.

Broadly speaking, the US could have chosen different presidents than Trump and Biden, but would it have made a difference in the context of the country’s Pluto Return? The way I see it, the Pluto Return signifies a change in the US and its role/status in the world, one where the trajectory of the previous 248 years is replaced with a new direction. Collectively, the US does not seem to have truly realised this. It could therefore be argued that both Trump and Biden being elected represent the Universe sending a message that the old pattern will not hold up, despite the electorate’s efforts to keep things going as they were. The thing is, you could argue that even had those two individuals never stood for office, others with similar astrological characteristics would have been elected.

On the other hand, if the US had collectively come to terms with what its Pluto Return meant for itself and its future in the world, individuals with different charts that reflected the reality of the situation might have gained office.

To what extent is astrology in the collective sense a reflection of a path that might have been unconsciously chosen long ago anyway?
