Desperately seeking a chink of daylight if not peace and sanity in the Middle East fiasco, a few astro-thoughts.
Relocating Trump’s chart to Teheran puts the Fixed star Antares on the Ascendant. Known as martial in its inclinations, it can cause destructiveness and makes the individual rash, headstrong and destructive to themselves by their own obstinacy. There is also his wayward and divisive Uranus in the 7th house of friends and enemies. The unfortunate, shipwrecking Fixed star Scheat is on his relocated IC, hinting at the sinkhole opening up below him. With his hopeful, unrealistic (delusional) Neptune in the 10th house of direction and reputation.
Cracks are appearing even with trenchant MAGA supporters of the past like Joe Rogan – whose relationship with DT is undergoing a total turnaround at the moment with tr Pluto opposition the composite Uranus; with disappointment mounting from late May to mid August with particular jolts mid June into July.
Skipping down relationship charts with Trump’s main protagonists it is interesting (to an astrologer) to see the range of reasons for the opposition. Bruce Springsteen and Richard Gere loathe him with toxic bitterness with composite Sun, Mars, Pluto, Saturn conjunctions in their respective relationship charts which is a fight to the end. With Obama there is anger, distrust but more significantly Uranian differences of agenda – going in opposite directions. With Gavin Newsom a hint of an ego clash, one wins the other loses. Macron and Starmer find him irritating beyond belief with his insistence they bow the knee to his commands – with Mars Saturn prominent.
The one relationship chart which has always fascinated me – in a gruesome way – is Trump with Ivanka, his daughter. It has a composite Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus conjunction with Uranus conjunct Pluto may square Moon. If ever there was an abusive association, emotionally or otherwise, this is it with a vast reservoir of resentment bubbling below the surface.
What is intriguing as Trump exhibits signs of a mental breakdown are his interactions with those close. His relationship chart with Melania has tr Uranus conjunct the composite Sun exactly now – 6th till 25 April. With Ivanka tr Uranus will square their composite Sun from later this month into May and then square the Mars and Saturn right through into 2027. That will be some rupture.
With Donald Trump Jnr there has already been tremors of unease with is father and a sinking sense of failure through this month with tr Neptune square the composite Sun with a jolting tr Uranus square the Uranus in the second half of May – and both of these repeat into early 2027.
Even the Trump tribe may have a sense that the writing is on the wall.

It is worth noting that, fortunately, though the Mercury/Mars/Saturn conjunction passes over in opposition to DT’s Neptune 18th-20th April, which could well be undermining, just one week later Mercury/Mars trine his Pluto which is likely to be positive. Saturn follows and trines his Pluto in May, positive again.
So it’s not all doom and gloom.

The US-Iran ceasefire, which will also open the Strait of Hormuz, just brokered by Pakistan to delay Trump’s deliverance of Hell is for 2 weeks to 21st April.
Look at the timings!! However given Hugh’s observation of how the triple conjunction could affect Trump, as well as world resources I feel a touch nervous for how the final days of the ceasefire play out, even if forever hopeful sense prevails.
Herodotus, the father of history, mentioned that King Croesus of Lydia wanted to expand his empire against the then nascent Iran. He consulted the then famous and renowned Oracle of Delphi, who advised him that if he crossed the border between his kingdom and Iran, “a great empire will be destroyed”.
Taking that as a positive sign, he invaded Iran. “The great empire” that was destroyed was his own, as he lost.
Trump’s remarkable (I’m being euphemistic) post a few hours ago starts with “A whole civilization will die tonight” and continues by talking of “Complete and Total Regime Change” (capitals as in the post).
While I think he is trying to refer to Iran, could he actually and subconsciously be talking about the United States itself?
I think we can confidently say that the US has ceased to be a civilisation. Will the “Complete and Total Regime Change” actually happen there, taking him out of the picture (by triggering the 25th Amendment, no physical harm to him intended or hoped for)?
The expletive-laden outburst at Iran is highlighting that he can only get things done by bullying others. But with their stubborn resistance towards him, the only tool he has in his armoury is to shout louder. It would be funny if the consequence for everybody weren’t so resounding.
I said it recently but transit of Saturn/Neptune into Trump’s 8th is showing up bigly. The 8th house of give/take – all he has ever done is take so Saturn is highlighting the imbalance of his relationships; he doesn’t understand what a real deal is – how you have to keep your own side of a bargain to maintain the trust in the relationship. And that to strike a real bargain you have to concede stuff as well as accept what the others are giving.
@Gnarly Dude, it seems people previously close to DJT are calling for 25th amendment after the deranged “truth” with the 08:00 pm EDT deadline for committing serious war crimes against Iran. Republican Congress seems to stay in line, but it’s telling “NYT” published a piece on Netanyahu duping Trump into War that has obvious leaks from White House, including JD Vance or people close to him. JD is, conveniently, in Budapest “helping” Victor Orbán.

I have an Iranian work colleague who has a sister and mother caught up in this conflict on the outskirts of Tehran. None of his family are politically active but his sister was briefly detained at least once by the current regime for reasons that were never found out. They are essentially innocent victims of this war like most people in the Middle East and indeed in the rest of the world.
Speaking as a “sane” American, I am hoping against hope that someone around him, ANYONE, the military, family, associates (we know they won’t act) will stop this demented madman drunk on his own power from carrying out what he’s threatening. No one like him or Netanyahu should have access to such power. And, yes, I’m terribly worried about the poor people of Iran and Lebanon, victims of these megalomaniacs’ viciousness. It’s long past time for the spineless Republicans to step up and restrain him — preferably with a straitjacket and extended stay in a locked loony bin.
Marjorie, I’d like to echo pam here — I too so appreciate all your posts because I, too, am looking for a ray of hope. Usually I can find at least a bit of encouragement or sunshine (plus exquisite flower photos) here during these perilous times.
I was also encouraged by the 8 million-plus who came out on No Kings 3 Day, including the approximately 100K who showed up in my own San Diego County, California in 22 separate protests. About 50K showed up downtown where I volunteered. This is in a once-conservative city totally controlled by Republicans where, 20 years ago, it was unheard of for 10K to come to a protest. Now the city and county are mostly Democratic.

It appears DJT made another trip to Walter Reed this weekend, and reappeared today with a discolored hand. This starts to give more and more credence to the speculation he is, indeed, receiving a monthly treatment there. The one people suspect is Leqembi, brand name for lecanemab Alzheimer drug. It would slow the early stage progression by 25-30%. As someone whose family member is now at the mid-late stage transition and is becoming paranoid, after being diagnosed with minimal plaques in 2020, I have long thought Trump is 18 to 24 months behind in progression. My guess is they try to ride the Trump train till the midterms, if possible. But it might become unsustainable
About Ivanka — ever since I saw the photos of Trump’s cuddling the nubile Ivanka on his lap, combined with his comments about her body and that he’d date her if he could, I’ve had the strong suspicion that he molested her as a kid. I think she will eventually reveal that and, like Cesar Chavez, this will be a final nail in his reputation.
Yeah, unfortunately I came across the same pictures a couple of years ago and I got the same disturbing vibe.
I also remember the rumor that Ivanka had an abortion when she in high school.

When I heard that Maples got Tiffany as far away from her father yet stayed in America that confirmed the rumor to me.
I also heard long ago that Ivanka takes great pains to make sure her father is never alone with her daughter, who I read is now 13.
I feel similarly about Ivanka. There’s also footage from a documentary featuring Ivanka showing the cameraman her childhood bedroom. When asked about what memories it brought back, she froze and seemed dissociative in that moment. You could sense the discomfort. She was a model for John Casablancas, another of her father’s dodgy associates, whose career is marred with serious allegations of misconduct.
I’ve never thought that Trump molested Ivanka but there’s something called covert incest/abuse that he definitely (continues) to engage in. This is when a parent or caregiver acts like their child is their romantic partner. The parent is often lonely, emotionally underdeveloped/immature, and/or struggles with mental health issues or addiction. Essentially the parent makes the child their surrogate spouse and engages in behaviours like talking to them about their sex lives (or lack thereof), telling them how to pleasure their future partner, makes crude/lewd comments about their child’s physical appearance or about the opposite sex in general, and more seriously can even show up as masturbating in front of their child or watching porn together. The relationship then becomes enmeshed as the child feels responsible for their parent’s wellbeing and is then unable to form healthy, reciprocal relationships in adulthood themselves. It’s common for these children to either become promiscuous as they crave connection but can’t manage the emotional side of the dynamic, or they become codependent themselves and look the other way when their partner engages in any type of abuse of power. Silently Seduced by Dr. Kenneth Adams explores the concept further but one can’t read that book an NOT see Trump and Ivanka. It’s very icky.

Her astrology could easily put her into this situation – her Sag Venus/Neptune is right on his Sag moon and opposing his Gemini Sun. He is obviously emotionally stunted i.e. his Sag moon doesn’t have any development, his Gemini side is always on show. She has a Sag moon; so she can empathise with the way he wants to feel; and Sag moons like to explore. So again if he talked inappropriately, the boundaryless quality of Sag wouldn’t notice.
Her Scorpio Sun was transited by opposition from Uranus towards the end of Trump’s first term, I’m not surprised she has appeared to distance herself since.
Ava, what an interesting post, many thanks. Just looking at the synastry, it’s interesting that Ivanka has BML (Mean) at 4 degrees of Sagittarius, conjunct Trump’s BML at 5 degrees of the sign. Moreover, Ivanka’s Mars is at 5 Virgo, which squares her own BML and that of Trump.
Ivanka in fact has a yod on Chiron in Taurus at 21 degrees, with her Venus/Neptune in Sagittarius making up one leg, sextile her Jupiter/Pluto in Libra as the other. Asteroid Juno, which relates to Marriage is in Scorpio at 22 degrees, opposition her focal point Chiron in Taurus. Before her marriage to Jared Kushner, Ivanka converted to Judaism and iirc, this was one of the conditions before he would agree to the marriage.

VF: an additional characteristic of covert incest (aside from the parent/spouse dynamic and the emotional immaturity of the parent) that I forgot to mention is that unlike “traditional” incest/abuse, there’s no actual physical contact between the parent/caregiver and the child. Needless to say, Ivanka’s Mars in Virgo sq both her own and Trump’s BML in Sag reflects this well.
I believe you are right and that Trump did in fact rape and/or molest underage girls (Ivanka is a possible victim as well).
Having said that, does it matter for the MAGA faithful?
Please know I live in a red state, and I am surrounded by people who practically worship the man. When I bring up the possibility that Trump may have violated women and girls and ask if they would support them, many actually hesitate.
Think about it. They actually have to think about whether they will continue to support Trump if he ends up being a child predator.
I asked them point blank if they would support Trump if there was video evidence, DNA evidence, or testimony from victims, and many of the MAGA faithful twisted themselves in knots over it. The evidence could be fake, the victim could be paid off by the Liberal Elite, AI could falsify the video, etc.
Our problem isn’t Trump per se. It is the fact that a sizable portion of this population is so willing to support a “suspected” sexual predator rather than a Democrat because they consider Democrats to be the greater evil.
I hope Democrats remember this should they take over at the next election. The time for Obama politics and playing nice with the other side is over. It’s time for independents to ask themselves some hard questions. They supported Trump because they thought he would bring the economy back, conveniently forgetting that we went into a recession at the tail end of Trump’s first term due to Covid. They ignored the fact that Trump was convicted of sexual battery and likely committed many other acts against girls. The fact that many of these same voters are suffering because they lacked compassion for these girls is poetic, in a tragic sense.
But regardless, MAGA supporters are beyond help. Should we take the country back, we best be prepared to leave them behind to wallow in their victimization mentality alone. It’s not worth the trouble in trying to engage with these people because they will always support Trump even if their own children were molested by him.

Cynthia Bourgeault described the MAGA phenomenon on a recent Substack post as follows: “this evil poisoning the hearts and minds of sane and decent citizens in a paroxysm of collective psychosis.” I think that description is apt: a paroxysm of collective psychosis.
Somewhere, I read that when Hitler died, many Germans realised they had been hypnotised, in effect. And they quickly woke up. I so hope that something similar happens within MAGA, eventually.
Yeah, I saw a video of him with Ivanka back in the mid 90s, who was about 15, I think, and he was leering over her and sexualising her. And all I could think was, if he’s this brazen in public about it, what is he doing to her behind close doors. I’ve thought since the 90s Trump was likely a child predator.
What about Netanyahu? You haven’t done a forecast on him since last summer. He is the real force behind this, a truly nasty piece of work, hell-bent on getting his own way (and doing no good to Israel’s and Jews around the world’s survival in the meantime), whereas Trump is “just” mad.
Netanyahu’s natal chart moved to Tehran has an Ascendant/Descendant within a degree of Trump’s Tehran Sagittarius/Gemini axis. He has Neptune and Saturn square his retrograde Uranus at 4 Cancer at the moment and Mars/Mercury will square that degree in the next couple of weeks. Netanyahu’s natal Chiron at 7 Sagittarius is within orb of Antares, opposes the Iranian Islamic Republics natal Moon at 6 Gemini and falls on the Chiron/Uranus opposition in JD Vances natal chart. The state of Israel’s natal Mercury is at 10 Gemini conjunct Aldebaran so it is a country that does not hesitate to communicate via military force.
The upcoming triple conjunction of Mercury/Mars/Saturn is going to be opposing Trump’s natal Neptune. This is a very difficult and undermining aspect as the stop/go energy of Mars/Saturn will be feeding into his dreams, illusions and delusions. Mars/Saturn has been described as like trying to drive a car with the accelerator pressed to the floor but with the handbrake on. One suspects a personality like Trump will find this experience almost impossible to handle. The sensible option would be to delay any decisions until the transit has completed but one suspects Mars in its domicile in Aries will override Saturn which is in Fall and eventually compel action.
One interesting thing about Antares on the Ascendant is that by definition it places its opposite number Aldebaran on the Descendant. Both stars are therefore engaged in that Trump chart relocated to Tehran. The fact they are Persian Royal Stars with Antares being Watcher of the West and Aldebaran Watcher of the East makes the placement even more intriguing. Unfortunately both stars have a reputation for belligerence when activated and neither want to yield.
Fascinating as usual, Hugh. The gathering of planets in Aries at the Aries New moon looks mighty troublesome too. Some square Jupiter in Cancer, potentially amplifying the whole caboodle.
Those Aries planets will also be squaring the U.S Sun and Jupiter.
Plus those Aries planets will be opposing U.S. Saturn and finally squaring U.S
Pluto.
I’ve been thinking about the Royal Stars of Persia. The Lunar Eclipse in August is 4 Pisces, opposing Mercury, and square Uranus – so quite lively and communicative. That eclipse aligns with fixed star Fomalhaut, in the Southern Fish constellation. Fomalhaut is another of the Royal Stars, Watcher of the South, linked with the Archangel Gabriel, and once marked the Winter Solstice. In July, the Moon’s Nodes are conjunct Regulus, now 0 Virgo – the last of the four stars that make up the four Royal Stars. Regulus is the Watcher of the North, once marked the Summer Solstice, and is found at Trump’s natal ascendant in late Leo. So all those ancient Royal Stars are present in the next few months, one way or another.
Elsbeth Ebertin writes of Fomalhaut:
“It has a Mercury-Venus character with a blending of Neptune influence. According to tradition, this star is of quite variable effect, either very good or very bad, depending on the overall cosmic structure. It is assumed, however, that the helpful influence is the greater one….Tied up with either Sun or Moon, the influence of Fomalhaut is said to be quite marked.”
The Lunar Eclipse is on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s natal Venus, and may highlight their finances. It opposes Saturn in the USA Civil War’s chart, which could suggest both a divided government and questions (!) around established leadership? I don’t know how early an eclipse can have influence.
I just realised – Saturn is 4 Virgo in the DJT/USA composite Marjorie posted elsewhere. One degree off the Saturn for the USA Civil War, and so also opposed by the Pisces Lunar Eclipse/Fomalhaut in August. Seems significant?

The Mercury/Mars/Saturn triple conjunction is on the 19th/20th April 2026 Mars conjuncts Neptune on 13 April 2026 and Mercury conjuncts Neptune on 17 April 2026. Mercury and Mars are therefore linking Neptune and Saturn strongly activating the conjunction between those planets at 0 Aries on 20 February 2026. As this occurred at a world point the current transits will have global significance. The Sun will have moved from Aries to Taurus by the time Mercury forms an exact conjunction with Mars and Saturn so I expect Mercury related and Second House matters to be highlighted at that time. This means issues with natural resources from the Earth, national economies, trade, financial stability etc. This is when the economic fallout from the war will really start to be felt globally.
To add to the mix the Sun conjuncts Chiron at 26 Aries on 16th April 2026 and there is a New Moon at 27 Aries on 17 April 2026
It does feel like Iran is the losing endeavor that Americans needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Americans ARE awake and overwhelmingly oppose the war. Unfortunately nobody is stopping him as his sycophants in Congress have no spine and he’s surrounded by incompetents in his administration.
Trump is currently frustrated with the war in Iran, he underestimated Iran. This war is hitting the US economy and global economy hard than He thought, it is having serious economic repercussions. He keeps telling the nation that the war was successful and he won, he has destroyed all Iran’s military capabilities, but Iran keeps fighting on, it still remains strong. They have closed Strait of Hormuz, and are in charge. The recent polls in US shows that his overall approval rating is standing at 33%, which is the lowest ever. Most Americans including MAGA are not happy with his handling of economy and his presidency.
In simple terms, he is not winning the Iran war, and sadly he will never pull the plug since he hates losing, even if he has lost he still argues. By quitting ths war, he will see it as defeat. Probably JD Vance will end the when takes over and takes over the presidency as things are currently looking, Trump does not look strong anymore, his presidency looks like it’s nearing the end.
There are reports of EV’s sales surging, China’s EV market and companies like Tesla are reporting a surge in sales since the start of the Iran war, as oil prices keeps surging. Something Trump didn’t foresee. OPEC has reported that even if the war ends, it will take time for the oil companies in Middle East to repair damage caused by the attacks. This is probably the effects of Uranus approaching Gemini, and Pluto moving deeper into Aquarius, forceful change.
