  1. Marjorie,

I was wondering if you would look into the tragic wildfires that are currently raging in Maui, Hawaiʻi. Over 53 people have been killed so far and the fires have just consumed the historic town of Lahaina. Lahaina is home to a number of old colonial European and Indigenous Hawaiian cultural heritage sites, landmarks, historic churches, and museums. Reports are already coming out that a number of these cultural heritage sites have either been damaged or destroyed including: the Baldwin House (built in 1835), Waiola Church (built in 1823 and rebuilt in 1954), Maria Lanakila Catholic Church (built in 1928), Pioneer Inn (built in 1901), Lahaina Heritage Museum, and Wo Hing Temple Museum.

I was born in Hawaiʻi (I was born in Honolulu, Oahu) and I lived there as a child before moving to Florida (where I still live today) Reading all of this horrible news is very upsetting – Hawaiʻi and Native Hawaiians already suffered from years of colonialism, introduced diseases, population replacement, and a near extinction of the Hawaiian Language. Now, Hawaiʻi is being impacted by the Climate Crisis. These wildfires are one of the worst natural disasters the state has had to endure in decades.

What does the astrology say about all of this? Are there any signs of this hell letting up anytime soon?

  2. Marjorie,

there’s just been breaking news out of Ecuador. Progressive Ecuadorian Presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio has just been assassinated – he received 3 gun shots to the head while attending a campaign rally in Quito, Ecuador and he eventually died as a result of his injuries.

Fernando Villavicencio was born on October 11, 1963 in Alausí, Ecuador (I was unable to find a birth time) and he was affiliated with Ecuador’s Movimiento de Unidad Plurinacional Pachakutik – Nuevo País (Pachakutik Plurinational Unity Movement – New Country) which is a left-wing political party that advocates more rights for the Indigenous Peoples of Ecuador, environmentalism, egalitarianism, and anti-corruption.

It’s sad that his life ended this way. Any astrological thoughts regarding this tragedy?

    • They are almost certainly succeeding already.

I haven’t used cash for any transaction in the UK in close to a decade (certainly upwards of 5-7 years).

The only time I use cash is when I am forced to, typically when visiting Germany and Asia.

  3. Ms Sandra Bullock has lost the love of her life to Motor Neurone disease (aka ALS).
She also had a high profile split from her ex husband who publicly humiliated her after his affair came to light after she’d heaped praise on him during her Oscars acceptance speech.
Are there natal markers in Sandra’s (or anyone’s) chart which would signify traumatic or unexpected change in close relationships?

  4. Update on Florida please.
Waters off the coast 100 degrees. Coral bleaching. Also toxic seaweed.

Disney, educations, health are all issues still.

Toxic politics-from dog catcher up to federal offices and judges.

Future debate btw FL governor & CA governor too

    What is up with Florida?

  5. An article in Nature “Warning of a forthcoming collapse of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation -(“https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-023-39810-w ) recently described the potential collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning circulation (better known to us for the part of it called the Gulf Stream). This would have dire climatic affects in the Northern Hemisphere which would affect the UK temperatures causing them to be much lower with all the ramifications that brings for agriculture etc.

As with all things climate related, there are believers and those who dismiss the findings.

Is there anything in the astrology that pertains to future climate scenarios for the UK? Is something like that even possible to discern from astrology?

    • I saw that article as well, primarily because of a Twitter thread by a climate scientist debunking the claims.

The climate scientist avers that the Atlantic Meridional Overturning circulation is a small fraction (less than 10%) of the wider Gulf Stream and crucially goes past the north of the UK and primarily affects Norway and possibly Iceland. So it will not affect the UK directly, though it is still proof of a wider climate change.

I’ll see if I can find and post the Twitter thread here.

The climate scientist also made a plea to not exaggerate every detail of climate change because, as happened with the boy who cried ‘wolf’, people will just stop listening even when the events are actually true.

        • Thank you for sharing the link! It’s a good one. He is great at explaining things–and best for me, he is optimistic that we can and will deal with the climate crisis. With all the insane weather & fires it has been getting to me. (My local weather has simply been gloomy all year and that’s unusual, but not scary. Reading about temperatures in Iran, in the Andes (!), China-so many places – had me feeling pretty hopeless.

That was a great thread. Very good info.

  6. “Ukraine’s Security Service said Monday it had detained a Russian informant allegedly involved in a plot to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a trip to the Mykolaiv region in July.”

    From CNN.

How grave does his outlook appear? Thank you!
