  1. An open question and comment – just musing on the long stay of Venus in Leo that’s just begun. Venus and Mars are at closest approach – and square Uranus – around 1st July, 21 and 24 Leo, when we can see them in the evening sky. Venus is Rx all August, finally leaving Leo in October. Could be interesting for art history, gold, theatre and film? I think Venus in Virgo is more the one for the fashion industry though, particularly tailoring and couture.
What kind of effect might Venus Rx have? Or does this lengthy stay in one sign make an impact? Does magnetic Venus drawing closer to us here on Earth make a difference? Anyway, be interested in thoughts or observations about this.

  2. Hello Marjorie – Francoise Gilot has died at the age of 101. A gifted artist and writer, she had an intense relationship, and two children, with Picasso. She eventually managed to leave him, saying he was a great love of her life – yet knowing he would have destroyed her had she remained with him.
You’ve posted about creative Sagittarians Noel Coward and William Blake this week. Francoise G makes a third Centaur – 26th November, 1921. Her Leo Neptune is exactly conjunct Blake’s, and she also has Uranus in Pisces like him. Thank you Marjorie.

“Pablo’s many stories and reminiscences about Olga and Marie-Thérese and Dora Maar, as well as their continuing presence just offstage in our own life together, gradually made me realize that he had a kind of Bluebeard complex that made him want to cut off the heads of all women he had collected in his private museum. But he didn’t cut the heads entirely off. He preferred to have life go on and to have all those women who had shared his life at one moment or another still letting out little peeps and cries of joy or pain and making a few gestures like disjointed dolls, just to prove there was some life left in them, that it hung by a thread, and that he held the other end of the thread. From time to time they would provide a humorous or dramatic or sometimes tragic side to things, and that was all grist to his mill.”

  3. Hi Marjorie,
Wonder whether you have any astrological thoughts on the shock announcement of the merger among the PGA, LIV, and DP golf tours?
Like many others, when I first saw the headline, I thought it was a parody piece (and that I’d accidentally opened Twitter rather than the News app.)
Specifically, wonder whether the PGA and DP Tour players could block the merger.
    Thanks, as always.

  4. Hi. Wondering about Pluto in Aquarius and the Catholic Church allowing women to become deaconesses and/or (some form of) priests. Pope Francis has been looking into deaconesses.
Apparently, numbers for new male priests entering seminaries are down. Maybe something will finally change. Thank you.

  5. A new documentary about the life and career of Nöel Coward directed by Barnaby Thompson, ‘Mad About the Boy’ is to be released. His astrology would be interesting to look at as a talented writer and performer who had to conceal his true identity, but had tremendous wit and confidence. An interviewer once asked him: “What age did you know you were a star?” the presenter asks. “Two,” he replied confidently. Thank you Marjorie.

  6. Hi, Marjorie!

I was wondering if you could say something about what is next for Montenegro ?

After 33 years in power, in various positions, Milo Đukanović lost the presidency to Jakov Milatović, who was born on 7 December 1986, in Podgorica, Montengro.

Milatović was sworn in as president on 20 May 2023, at 12:24, in Podgorica, Montenegro, and will probably be in that position while the prime-minister spot will likely be held by his party fellow man Milojko Spajić, born on 24 September 1987, in Pljevlja, Montenegro.

Another player in the saga – apart from Đukanović, who has an unverified time of birth of 6:50 or 6:58 on 15 February 1962, in Nikšić, Montenegro, floating around – is Dritan Abazović, the current prime minister, born on 25 December 1985, in Ulcinj, Montenegro.

    Milatović–Spajić synastry could be illuminating.

Such a forgotten part of the world, sadly, or in the news for wrong reasons.

    What next for Spain ?

Pedro Sánchez’s party lost big in local elections, and, some say, to divert the attention from talk of the size of that loss, he called snap elections for 23 July 2023, traditionally holiday time for many Spaniards, enraging a few.

    He is a ♓ with a ♍ , born on 29 February 1972, at 10:25, in Madrid, Spain.

His main opponent is Alberto Núñez Feijóo, born on 10 September 1961, at 5:00, in Orense, Spain.

Sánchez’s synastry with Yolanda Díaz (6 May 1971, Fene, Galicia, Spain) and Feijóo’s with Santiago Abascal (14 April 1976, Bilbao, Spain) and Isabel Díaz Ayuso (17 October 1978, Madrid, Spain) could give us some clues about the future.

I was also wondering if you were thinking about writing about Hussein, Crown Prince of Jordan , (28 June 1994, Amman, Jordan) and his wedding (with all the familial synastries involved), and Chris Licht (22 October 1971, Newtown, Connecticut, USA ), who _The Atlantic_ is writing about in their article “Inside the Meltdown at CNN”, and _The Daily Mail_ has a piece on his fitness transformation (which reminded me of Strauss Zelnick, the superfit 65-year-old, born on 26 June 1957, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and might tie into the Martha Stewart cover and looking-(incredibly)-good-at-some-age stories).

Vera Putina, 6 September 1926, Ozyorsk, Russia : does her story and the dates she gives have sense astrologically?

What’s up with Mizzy (Bacari-Bronze O’Garro), born on 20 October 2004, in Stoke Newington, North London, United Kingdom?

A boatload of stuff, I know.

Thank you for everything you do!

    • Milo is either 6:50 or 6:55, not 6:58. I have to find where I got these times from. The 6:55 is from an astrologer on Facebook Mihailo Čukić.

I think he also has a chart for Dritan giving 2° Cap 18″ ascendant.

  7. Do you see any medical breakthroughs for people who are suffering with fibromyalgia? I know it used to be classified along with arthritis but research is now thinking something related to the nervous system and brain interactions.

  8. Hi Marjorie,

I was wondering if you had any astrological insights to the breaking news about an audio recording from 2021 that was discovered where Donald Trump can be heard discussing having possession of classified documents. In the audio Trump even mentions that he had possession of a national security document containing information about a possible U.S. strike on Iran. The document he referred to in the audio recording has yet to be recovered.

Anyway, legal experts in the media are coming to the unanimous conclusion that with this audio recording, there is overwhelming evidence working in the prosecution’s favor and that it’s no longer an “if” but a “when” with regards to a Donald Trump indictment. A few experts believe Trump could be indicted for this as soon as next week or the week after – given National security concerns.

To make matters even worse, in Georgia, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recently warned public officials to take necessary precautions by the end of July or early August and she also urged for more public safety personnel around this time. Willis didn’t specifically name Trump, but she did say there will be possible major indictments by late summer and this could quote: “provoke a significant public reaction.” Again, many legal experts believe this all implies a Trump indictment.

And then there are other legal troubles mounting for Trump. Former advice columnist for Elle Magazine, E. Jean Carroll, recently announced she will be pursuing another lawsuit against Donald Trump for slander and defamation of character after he appeared on that horrible CNN townhall and made fun of her and called her a liar.

I remember you predicted 2023 would be a very challenging year for Donald Trump and I definitely see why.

Trump is a walking hot mess and I can’t imagine anyone who would want to trade places with that ignoramus.

    • Nothing is going to happen to Trump in the end especially after next years election because either he will be president again or he will be too old to prosecute.
With Garland slow-walking the case against him for two years then handing it off to Jack Smith who only has power to recommend whether Trump should be charged or not it is just a lot of smoke and mirrors as far as federal charges go.

The Republicans in Georgia will fire Fani Willis if she indicts Trump and the trial in Manhattan which is scheduled to start in March will only enhance Trump’s victim status with his base and propel him to the nomination.

So at the end of the day there is no down side to Trump’s ultimate fate.

But if Biden and the Democrats don’t get out of their bubble on how well the macro economy is doing and start empathizing with Americans in a very real way Democrats are going to get blown out in November 2024.

      • @ Roderick,

This is all based on your personal opinion of Biden and the Democratic Party. I’m more interested in what the astrology suggests.

  9. Kaija Saariaho, ranked as the greatest living composer by BBC in 2019, before even premiering her last major work, widely acclaimed opera “Innocence” in 2021, has died at 70. Birthdate, October 14th, 1952, in Helsinki. I’m wondering particular about her harmonics. She was critically acclaimed, but I hear people who usually aren’t into modernist structure in music fawn on “Innocence” that they tell was hypnotic.

  10. Good day Ms. Orr. Could you take a look at Sir Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen as to their prospects in the short and medium terms?
    Thank you.
