Moving … country? Have you fallen out of love with France?
Half and half – like most countries it has its pluses and minuses. Oddly enough I moved coincidentally the week the war on Afghanistan started in 2001 – and left as the US exited. My Gemini Moon caught the transiting Saturn opp Pluto of 9/11. And it was half a Saturn cycle on with tr Saturn in Sag when Brexit occurred which was when I decided the French adventure was over. Not sure what the next adventure phase will be. Still working on the game plan.

Haiti just experienced another massive earthquake today (Saturday, August 14, 2021). It was a 7.2 on the Richter magnitude scale and it occurred right off the coast of the Saint-Louis-du-Sud commune – near Les Cayes. The earthquake was so powerful, it was reportedly felt all the way in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, Jamaica, Cuba, and right here in Florida (South Florida).
The beautiful and historic 18th century Catholic church, Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral, Les Cayes sustained damage as a result of the earthquake. I was particularly upset about that because it is a landmark. And experts are sadly anticipating the number of casualties to be very high (likely comparable to the 2010 earthquake which killed for 316,000 people).
To make matters even worse, Haiti is in the direct path of Tropical Storm Grace. The country still hasn’t recovered from previous natural disasters…..so, the entire situation is just tragic. It really is a shame Haiti has had to endure so much trauma (both political and environmental) for the past 30 plus years. The nation and its people are struggling – they don’t need any further problems.
Anyway, I was wondering if you had any thoughts or astrological insights you could share regarding Haiti’s propensity for attracting such devastating natural disasters such as violent earthquakes and hurricanes. Does the astrology for Haiti suggest any signs of this letting up in the near future?

There are apps available that pickup 1000’s of radio stations that you should be able to install on your tablet. If you have a smart TV you can sign up to a digital streaming service, as well as BBC iplayer. If not you could invest in a streaming device like an Amazon fire stick. To be honest, if our TV transmitter burned down I doubt I’d notice these days. I have lived here for 5 years without a roof aerial. What are your neighbours doing?

I am feeling really deprived. My home is in the area that the Bilsdale Transmitter or mast allows us to watch Freeview and listen to the radio. For those that don’t know, evidently the mast caught fire on Tuesday and took out one of four outbuildings that house the necessary machinery. We have been completely cut off and have no idea when normal service will be resumed.
It is like someone has died. I realise that nobody has actually died, but it certainly feels that way. I fear it will be months before everything gets back to normal. Have you written before on Solar Arcs and how they differ in effect to traditional transits to personal planets? My Solar Arc Moon moves into Sagittarius tomorrow after a long spell in Scorpio since October 1991, and conjoins my 1st house Jupiter. This sounds fortuitous, but have you anything further I could read up on?
When my solar arc moon changed signs a few years back I moved to a different region of the country about 6 months later. Which house does the Moon rule in your chart? Mine rules the IC.
My solar arc pluto is now exactly at 0’00 Sagittarius, funnily enough. Although it’s square my natal Saturn, while solar arc Saturn is moving towards natal Pluto – which sounds…. less fortuitous. But I am starting a masters degree and changing career direction, so I’m hoping that will soak it up
Although not specifically Solar Arcs, I found the difference when transits/progressions moved from Scorpio to Sag to be like night and day. “Total laser focus/this matters like life and death” became “show me anything and everything/who cares”.
