That airport was delayed by more than a decade and only just opened in October 2020, right in the middle of the Covid crisis. It is already billions in debt and trying to pass that debt to its shareholders (the Berlin and Brandenburg state governments and the German federal government).
It has been beset with design issues, with part of the decade long delay caused by them having to rewire the whole place after a change of architect. Now it seems that main hall is unusable in winter as there is no barrier to freezing cold winds and blizzards.

This is not really a question but more of an observation I have reached recently.
I think when it comes to natal charts for nations and organizations one usually goes with the most recent one. But in terms of (usually) pre-Renaissance charts there can be several different possibilities for each nation. I am leaning towards the idea that in such cases the relevant natal chart is for the event which registers most deeply in the collective psyche.
A prime example would be the USSR. Technically the actual Soviet Union was not constitutionally established until a few years after the Revolution. But the chart to use is always the October/November 1917 one. The Bolshevik coup was instinctively regarded by the Soviets and the world as the start date.
England is another case in point. The unification date was in 927, but in so far as trying to plot events relating to the English psyche/identity goes, the chart to use is the 1066 conquest one, as that is the date which historically resonates.
Similarly, the actual founding date of the Irish Republic proper is 1949 when it left the Commonwealth, but the chart to use is the 1922 one as that in the minds of most is the key event.
For Germany, Marjorie uses the 1871 unification chart but I personally would think the establishment of Federal Republic in 1949 resonates more. This was the ‘clean slate’ beginning after wholesale destruction, and modern Germany defines itself from this point.
I haven’t worked this out for most nations yet and there may be some exceptions to the rule. But Sept 11, 2011 seems to loom very high in the mindset of our conservatives and right wingers. Their fanaticism and rejection of normal political and legal constraints seems dated from then. The mindset of so many seems tied to that date and and the hatreds and unreasonableness we see; appear correlated to me. The rest of our society is stunned and unable to effectively overrule that attitude so far.
It’s like the more traditional conservative stance disappeared and a new paradigm emerged from that date. Does a chart for that date give any good answers as a substitute for the more traditional “natal” charts? It’s like a new country emerged from this mess. Even the “liberals” have been seriously overacting/overemoting with nutty policy and backslapping the opposition at every chance. There is no middle ground anymore.

Re the USA, it’s interesting to look at the Jamestown 13th May 1607 chart (Sun in Taurus, Moon in Sagittarius) and see that it was activated by transits on 9/11. Tr Saturn in Gemini was conjunct the 1607 Mars exactly, with tr Pluto in Sagittarius opposing it, while exactly opposing 1607 Mercury in Gemini. Tr Uranus in Aquarius was exactly square the 1607 Sun in Taurus. Tr Mars squared the 1607 Jupiter at 0 Aries, and trined Pluto in Taurus. The 9/ll MC opposes 1607’s Saturn in Capricorn….there’s more, but I think these transits do spell out a message of shocks and violence.
And re the fear of the “other” – once settlers arrived, America has always been populated by the “other”….and a brief look at its history of successive waves of migrants reveals that each time those migrants have been regarded with suspicion, dislike, or even hatred and derision. And that’s before you look at the terrible treatment of Native Americans, and of course the horrors of slavery. And re the fear of the “other” – once settlers arrived, America has always been populated by the “other”….and a brief look at its history of successive waves of migrants reveals that each time those migrants have been regarded with suspicion, dislike, or even hatred and derision. And that’s before you look at the terrible treatment of Native Americans, and of course the horrors of slavery. On one, very broad, level this is human history, sadly – thousands of years ago the Beaker People seem to have wiped out most of the population of Britain….I hope at some point very soon we can make a valiant attempt to all do a bit better!
