There was breaking news yesterday (Dec. 29th) that Democratic U.S. Congressman John Lewis has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
President Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Gwen Graham, and many other Democrats and politicians have all offered their support to Lewis.
This was very distressing news to me because John Lewis is more than just a Congressman, he’s a highly admired and respected Civil Rights icon here in the South (especially here in North Florida) and Lewis is very well loved by people all over the country as well as by the entire Democratic Party. Lewis has spent his entire life fighting for social justice and equality.
Despite the news, John Lewis appears to remain confident and says will fight the cancer. It’s encouraging to hear him say this. However, we know it’s going to be a very tough challenge for him.
I was just wondering if you had any astrological insights regarding the health challenges John Lewis is facing right now. Astrologically speaking what do you see causing this? This was rather sudden news – we’re all in shock.
I didn’t find John Lewis’s birth time. However, I did find that John Lewis was born on February 21, 1940 in Troy, Alabama.
Anyway, anything you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to interact with all of us and I sincerely enjoy reading your daily posts on various astrological topics.

Speaking of learning, you had mentioned in one of your posts that a certain aspect (or aspects) tend to show up for anti-Semitism. Unfortunately, I could not find it when I did a search. Given the escalation and recent uptick in anti-Semitic-driven violence, would you be able to tell me which post that was or write about that aspect again?

Dig, From memory I’d have thought Saturn Pluto which tends to have been repressive of heresies (ie. anyone who believes something different.) But looking at the Astrological History of the World I see it was Uranus Pluto, so maybe this latest bout of anti-Semitism is following on from what was stirred up between 2012 and 2016. Just appalling and outrageous that it has flared up again.
“Certain key dates in Jewish history, and indeed the history of Jerusalem, fall under Uranus–Pluto conjunctions, starting with the Jewish revolt against the Romans in AD 70. The Romans then sacked Jerusalem, destroying the Temple, the ancient centre of Jewish religious life and traditionally the site of Jacob’s dream of angels ascending a ladder to heaven. This was the beginning of the Jewish diaspora, or dispersal; the oral laws of Moses were added to the Pentateuch to form the Torah which would bind future Jews together. The winning of the Six Day War by the Israelis under the latest conjunction in 1967 saw the Jews occupy the old city of Jerusalem for the first time since they had been expelled.
In AD 70, the Romans also destroyed the Qu’mran Essene Jewish community. They left behind the Dead Sea Scrolls, Hebrew and Aramaic texts that were not rediscovered until the Saturn–Pluto conjunction of 1947. Under another Uranus–Pluto conjunction, the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, the great mosque, was built on the Temple Mount in 691 by the Umayyad Caliph to commemorate the Muslim tradition that Mohammed ascended to Paradise from this spot, making it the third most holy place of Islam after Mecca and Medina. Jerusalem was also occupied by the First Crusade in 1099.
There were also two major Jewish massacres under Uranus–Pluto, one sparked by religious differences, the other by anti-semitism. The first took place in the Rhineland in 1095 when Pope Urban II called for a crusade to free the holy places in Jerusalem; the second in 1348 in the wake of the 25 million deaths from the ‘Black Death’ plague in Europe, for which Jews were blamed.”
hi marjorie my 5 month old granddaughter was born under the 2nd july solar eclipse and I am currently trying to study her birth chart but she has a few planets in the 12th house such as her sun,moon,venus and north node.There is a lot of negativity I about the 12th house.Why is this?

Hi Marjorie, I know that you’ve written about conspiracy theories before but I wonder if you could do an update. I made the mistake of getting into a political discussion over christmas and the people I was with brought up stuff about the eu as a new world order and illuminati and rothschilds and stuff. It was like I nedded to “wake up” and see what was going on. It made me sad because these are people I’ve known for a long time and care about. Afterwards I did some googling and found the site “infowars” and can see where the ideas come that they were refering to.
I understand that world events are very unsettling at the moment and people want to understand what is going on. We look for underlying existential reasons, and in a sense, I am turning to mundane astrology for the same reasons as they are looking for answers in cospiracy theories. But I think that the results are very different. I’m wondering if both are linked to neptune as well as pluto going through capricorn and turning up the ground we stand on.
As long as conspiracy theories are just theories that help people to understand their reality better, then i can understand (I just will avoid such conversations in the future!). But what if extreme theories become policy, and then war / civil war?. Am I worrying about this too much?
CANADA 2020: I assume if the US and UK are in whirl this year, my country is in for it, too? You earlier predicted that Canada would be in a standstill until 2024.
