Joyeux Noel et Bonne Annee 2021

Festive cheer all round. A time to look forward and shut the door on the old year.

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” Lao Tzu

PS For the horticulturalists, the middle pic of red berries and white flowers is an Arbutus (strawberry) tree that grows around here. One of the few that fruits and blossoms at the same time in late autumn.

On the table Amaryllis and poinsettia, the latter being my one concession to Christmas decorations.

  1. Marjorie,

Thank you so very much for your deep insightful and voluminous work!

And for hanging in there, day in and day out, when you don’t have to.

For many of us, your site is an island of refuge in a sea of insanity.

Oui, Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année.

All the very best to you in 2021 and always.

    Tout le meilleur à toi

  2. Thank you for sharing your insightful posts throughout the year, they make for enjoyable reading. Happy holidays to you, and yours!

  3. Wishing you and all others on this site a Happy New Year and a happier 2021 as well, Marjorie.

Your site has been, to some extent, an outpost of serenity on the WWW and it was refreshing to use astrology to be reflexive in a tumultuous year. I hope that your optimistic outlook on 2021 comes true and brings joy to us all.

  4. Marjorie, because I’m British too I’ll wish you a happy Boxing Day. God bless you for getting through all the Trump and Brexit stuff this year on top of the pandemic, I don’t think I could have handled it. Delete the orange one’s chart now and never look at it again 🙂 Here’s to 2021, thank you for all you do

  5. Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année Marjorie!
Ces arbouses sont superbes (la concentration en vitamine C de ces fruits est trente fois supérieure à celle de l’orange!)

    Au plaisir de vous lire.

  6. Thank you very much Marjorie, your posts are essential entertainment, that’s also very informative – thanks also to the regular posters, who are also have great insights. Hope you had a great Christmas Day, and wishing you a very Happy New Year!

  7. Yes, bravo for your stupendous input – how do you manage to read so many charts in a day, so thoroughly? the time it takes….!!!! yes you’ve given us some deep stuff here, but also a lot of laughs, which are hard to come by in these times…..when watching comedy on TV now I think I’ve lost my sense of humour as nothing is amusing any more….! So many read you before they start the day – just for a prod that we’re living in a real world, with problems, but mostly things pass……happy 2021 and a million thanks for your Herculean results.

  8. I so appreciate and look forward to your work. Your wise words during the terrible U.S. election cycle were invaluable to so many of us. May 2021 bring you everything you wish.

  9. Wish you the same, Marjorie! your observations were much needed in a world that seemed to have gone mad politically and socially, a wise presence, particularly amid the pandemic, that I look for on your website every day.

  10. Thank you for leading us through this difficult year with clarity and heavenly insight. Not knowing that much about the whole cookie of astrology, I did pick up a few crumbs of the essence, through your teachings! I love to begin the day to see what and who you write about! Happy holidays to everyone!

  11. A bountiful Boxing Day and a happy New Year to you Marjorie, and everyone here. It’s been a wonderful, thought provoking place to come in this bizarre year. I love to think of all the individuals around the world who comment and discuss, as we’ve tried to make sense of things. No exaggeration to say it has made a big difference to me! Thank you Marjorie.

  12. Thank you Marjorie and very best wishes to you and those you care for. I appreciate the clarity your readings provide, often clearing the fog from some pretty hazy scenarios. I may not always agree with your personal opinions – which is entirely separate from your incisive chart analysis – but I always appreciate your candour. Thank you too to your very knowledgeable commenters from whom have learned so much!

the song now is Hope, Peace, Joy and Love…
I pass this on to you all!!

Marjorie….I, too, send you gratitude and blessings from Canada’s damp West Coast.
Through your astrological eyes, we can step back a bit from reacting, pull in a breath or two.. and try to open to understanding.

Then? All you others step in with your insights, questions an wisdom!!
    Wonderful!

A precious Space is created here and this is no small thing during difficult times.
Thanks Marjorie, for offering this Space!!

  16. Happy Christmas Marjorie and thank you for all your interesting writing.
Re Arbutus – have you ever tried the honey from that plant?
I get mine from Portugal via an English company.Very complex taste and aroma, unlike any other honey. Its not to everyones taste, but extraordinary stuff, and very useful during this pandemic, as it has more than the usual anti bacterial and anti viral properties that other honeys contain.

  17. Thankyou to Marjorie and everyone from the northern tip of Wales
A happy and healthy new year to you and all your staff
May you continue to provide us with information and entertainment throughout 2021 and beyond.

  18. Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, Ms. Orr. Also, thank you for your insightful, astrological posts, as they always add clarity and balance to my understanding of the world.

  19. Merry Christmas from our little island on the west coast to you Marjorie, and to all who read your interesting, insightful take on planetary influences on world events and individual lives.

  20. Thank you, Marjorie, for your great work, not to mention these gorgeous, uplifting photos. My compliments
on your excellent taste! Wishing all a healthy and prosperous 2021.

  21. Lovely words – our actions are what matter. After some things happen that have consequences, the explanations are not the same as making life go the right way in the first place.

  22. Merry Christmas, Marjorie! Thanks for putting these crazy times into astrological context and with your perspective. Lovely photos, too.

  23. ‘“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” Lao Tzu’
