Born 14 December 1946 10.39pm New York, she had a 4^th house Sun Mars in Sagittarius opposition a 10^th house Uranus square a 1^st house Virgo Moon. So very Mutable, scattered, highly strung, emotionally on edge from an impossibly insecure childhood.

She also had Jupiter Venus in Scorpio in her 3^rd square Pluto (Saturn) in Leo which would give her an antidote of optimism and confidence.  Her artistic Neptune was well aspected being on the focal point of a mini-Grand Trine of Saturn trine Mercury.

Her ‘victim’ 12^th Harmonic, not surprisingly, was heavily aspected with a ruthless, fearful and frustrating Earth Grand Trine dominated by Mars and Pluto. Her get-it-together, creative 5^th Harmonic was also strong; as was her determined/enduring 16H.

Two thoughts are that a useful chunk of Jupiter in aspect and ruling her Sun probably saved her; and that heavily Mutable charts can have a tendency to mood swings.

Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s very effective campaign manager, has been charged with simple battery after a March incident in which he grabbed a journalist. There are vehement denials and smears flying around despite a video of the moment.

Born 18 September 1973, Lewandowski is a Virgo Sun conjunct Pluto; with Pluto Mercury in Libra on the point of a T square to Saturn in Cancer opposition North Node.  So he likes to be in control and can be very intense. He also has a pushy Mars in Taurus opposition Venus in Scorpio square Jupiter in Aquarius – so he’ll have confidence in abundance though a tendency to go over the top at times.

According to the Washington Post: “It is the latest in a series of controversies involving Lewandowski, who is known for having a combustible temper and an eagerness to wade into the fray. “Donald Trump is not for the faint of heart, and neither is Corey Lewandowski,” said a former representative for whom Lewandowski worked.”

It’s unlikely to hurt the Trump campaign since nothing seems to stick to him and there are so many contradictory statements around the voters will stop listening.

Though Lewandowski doesn’t look that cheerful now or ahead with tr Pluto opposing his Sun/Mars which is frustratingly stuck; and tr Uranus aiming to square his Mars/Pluto after mid April.

Lewandowski’s very bullish Fixed T Square of Mars opposition Venus square Jupiter hooks into Trump’s 12^th house Pluto – which certainly fits a behind-the-scenes string-puller. Their relationship chart is intense, hard-working, lucky with a composite Sun trine Jupiter, and Mars trine Neptune, sextile Pluto; Pluto square Jupiter. There’s a faint ripple on it at the moment with tr Uranus trine Uranus. And real disappointment come August and through October with tr Saturn conjunct the composite Jupiter and tr Neptune square Jupiter.

Ever since Jeremy Corbyn was elected as the surprise Labour leader there have been dark mutterings about coups in the parliamentary party. Now there are rumours of increasing tension between Corbyn and his even further left Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, whom some commentators think is eyeing up the succession.

Corbyn’s leadership chart, 12 September 2015 11.42am London, has nervy and disappointing transits from tr Neptune square tr Saturn in hard aspect to the 10 degree Virgo Moon all this year. With intense arguments in Sept/Oct this year. But it’s likely to be 2017/2018 which sees the fur really flying when there is a disruptive mutiny-prone tr Pluto square the Uranus; and an undermining Solar Arc Neptune opposition the Moon in late 2017.

Problems between Corbyn and McDonnell will flare earlier than that however, from late June this year, on and off for two years thereafter as tr Uranus squares the composite Mercury Sun, moving on to square Venus in 2017. So major ideological and policy differences. With a confused tr Pluto square Neptune this year; and a discouraging tr Pluto trine the composite Saturn in 2016/17. Not a match made in heaven.

Tom Watson, the Deputy Labour leader, elected separately so not necessarily an ally, is finding McDonnell hard to take this year with tr Pluto trine the composite Mars. Watson’s relationship with Corbyn is at the best of times volatile; sagging badly from this June onwards with tr Neptune square the composite Saturn; and may part company altogether or at least the gulf between them will widen precipitously in 2017 when tr Saturn is square the composite Sun.

Htin Kyaw, Myanmar’s first civilian president for more than fifty years was sworn in this morning at around 10.30am. This puts an idealistic though not realistic Neptune on the MC opposition Jupiter in the 4^th suggesting a contented population square Mars Saturn in the 6^th in Sagittarius.  That last could suggest an overworked administration or health issues. Pluto hovers on the cusp of the 8^th square the 10^th house Sun Mercury and Uranus hinting at hostility and power struggles, with the rump of the military junta still in key positions.

Aung San Suu Kyi will hold several cabinet posts and effectively run the country which may become more obvious from 2017 when tr Pluto starts a two year trine of her Jupiter giving her a major boost.

John Le Carre’s The Night Manager made into a lavish BBC six-parter has been a ratings hit. Hugh Laurie, who played the amoral, sophisticated arms’ dealer, has added another success to his belt in a long and astonishingly varied career. Long gone is the hapless, witless Bertie Wooster morphed through grumpy genius Dr House which made Laurie the highest earning television actor for several years with multiple awards to boot and now a prime time baddie up there with Blofeld.

Born 11 June 1959 in London, tentative time 4.30pm, he’s a Sun Gemini, so no surprises about the breadth of his range. That sextiles onto a showy and unpredictable Moon Uranus in Leo. With Venus Mars also in flamboyant Leo in a creative, showbiz square to Neptune in Scorpio. Plus a hard-working Saturn in Capricorn opposition Mercury, trine/sextile Pluto – so a depressive though also highly conscientious streak. And a confident Pluto square Jupiter in money-attracting Scorpio.

His actor’s 15^th Harmonic is very strong.

He evidently bought the option on Le Carre’s book but it never made it to the screen so this time round he offered his services and was snapped up.

John Le Carre, 19 October 1931, former spy and spy writer extraordinaire, has a tough chart with a Libra Sun opposition Uranus square Pluto opposition Saturn in Capricorn. So one of the early Depression generation, whose mother abandoned the family when he was young and his con-man father didn’t give him an easy transition into adult life. His Pluto is trine Mars in Scorpio and his Uranus is trine Jupiter in Leo so it would stiffen his spine and give him a taste for adventure.

His Jupiter is conjunct Laurie’s Moon Uranus and Le Carre’s Mars is conjunct Laurie’s Jupiter – so a good connection for fun and enthusiasm.

Marcia Clark, the lead prosecutor in the infamous OJ Simpson trial, was born 31 August 1953 12.35pm Oakland, California (ADB). She said the trial, which turned into a media circus and focused more on racial issues than two dead victims, ruined her life. So she wasn’t looking forward to seeing it all dragged up again in a new ten part television series. She was so disgusted by the verdict in 1995 she resigned from the law and wrote a book ‘Without a Doubt’ which is now sailing back up the best seller list, has written several crime novels and now handles some criminal appeals.

She has a very strong, ambitious and legal-orientated chart. Her Sun Mercury in Virgo are in her 10^th square a Gemini Moon at the end of the 7^th.  But it is her lawyerly 9^th house which is eye catching. An ultra-determined and relentless Mars Pluto in Leo are there on the midpoint of a mini-Grand Trine to Neptune Saturn in Libra trine Jupiter in Gemini. Uranus and creative Venus in Leo are also in her 9^th, often a writer’s house as well.

When the not guilty verdict was announced on 3 October 1995 she had tr Pluto square her MC which is often a devastating career setback; with an enfuriated and trapped tr Pluto square her Sun/Mars midpoint as well. Plus a disappointing tr Neptune opposition Mars/Jupiter and Jupiter/Pluto eroding her confidence and hopes.

In the aftermath tr Saturn in Pisces moved to square her Jupiter, dipping her enthusiasm further. Tr Neptune was also square her Neptune and Saturn, opposition her Uranus – so a troubled time especially for her belief in a fair world (Saturn Neptune).

At the moment she looks up and down with high hopes, great insecurity and some disillusionment. Tr Jupiter is moving through her 10^th across the transmission which will boost her profile. Tr Uranus has moved on a quarter of the zodiac to be opposing her Neptune Saturn and square her Uranus this year, as it was through the trial.

She’s a robust and redoubtable lady but with tr Saturn now into her 2^nd house, in a generally less successful patch of her life. She’ll have a major setback in about 18 months time and be changing direction again by 2018 with tr Uranus trine her MC.

Bernie Sanders won all three states who were voting on Saturday, giving his campaign heart though he’ll still struggle to make up his delegate deficit. His uplift came with tr Uranus sextile his Jupiter which finishes on April 1^st.

He starts to look really uneasy from April 20^th and especially through May when tr Uranus opposes first his Venus and is then conjunct his Mars in Aries.

May and June are also where Donald Trump starts to pick up much more difficult, high-tension and jolting transits to his Saturn and also several Mars midpoints, some running through till early September.

Former Tory MP and aide to Margaret Thatcher, Matthew Parris, used his Times column to launch an attack on Boris Johnson which has sent the twittersphere into hyper-mode. He accused Johnson, Mayor of London and pro-Brexit leader, of ‘alleged dishonesty, vacuity, sexual impropriety and veiled homophobia’.

MP’s meticulous Saturn in Virgo is also conjunct BJ’s maverick Uranus; and MP’s volatile Mars Uranus in Cancer is conjunct BJ’s North Node and MC. Mars on another’s MC can indicate rivalry and therefore envy.

Their relationship chart is a real mixture with a composite Sun trine Jupiter and square Neptune so blowing hot and cold, between liking (Jupiter) and distrusting (Neptune).With an envious Mars trine Neptune and a power-struggling Mars sextile Pluto. The composite Mars is also square Jupiter which often hints that the chemistry between the individuals prompts rash actions.

Radovan Karadzic, former Bosnian Serb leader has been convicted of genocide and war crimes and sentenced to 40 years in jail. He is the most senior political figure to face conviction over the collapse of Yugoslavia in the 1990s. Almost 100,000 died in the Bosnian War (1992-95) and an especial horror for which Karadzic was held responsible was the Srebrenica massacre of 8000 Muslims men and boys.

Born 19 June 1945 (11.51am, Petnijica, Montenegro: astrotheme), he has Sun and Uranus in Gemini both square Jupiter in Virgo. What is significant about his chart, which shares some similarities with Adolf Hitler, is Mars Venus in Taurus sextile Saturn, square Pluto. Hitler also had Venus Mars conjunct in Taurus square Saturn; with Mars Venus trine Jupiter. Mars in Taurus can have a very unpleasant side.  At the moment he has his Solar Arc Saturn conjunct his Jupiter, dampening his confidence as he faces the rest of his life in prison.

Ratko Mladic, 12 March 1943, the former Bosnian Serb military leader, is also on trial at The Hague for similar crimes. He’s a Sun Pisces trine Jupiter; with an Air Grand Trine of Mars in Aquarius trine Uranus Saturn (Moon) in Gemini trine Neptune, formed into a Kite by Mars opposition Pluto. So chillingly cold, cruel and ruthless.  A surfeit of trines and sextiles in a chart can also surprisingly be cruel. His Gemini Moon is heavily linked to all four of the outer planets and Mars.
