Hi Majorie, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your responsiveness. I do not know of any other Astrology site where the readers can suggest themes to be explored and can engage directly with the Astrologer. And honoring the Gemini new Moon today: I truly enjoy your different sides, when you are whimsical, dry or irritated and snappy or goofy, the manic Snow Rabbit Gangsta…. I just wanted to say that. The sense of Community here is such a wonderful resource. Thank you for all you do.
Many thanks. You’re welcome. I do read widely across the papers but am always pleased to be given pointers to interesting stories.
Yesterday Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire. I searched Marjorie’s past posts on him and there is nothing recent. I took a quick look at his chart. Uranus is about to transit his GE Saturn and his AQ Mars is going to catch the August 12 eclipse. I’m wondering if the paper wealth isn’t going to vaporise in front of him with much frustration or if he’s instantly going to have $2T in wealth come August. Thoughts?
Elon likely won’t suffer too much personally since he is awash in money anyway, but if his paper wealth vaporizes he is going to take a whole lot of people down with him. Solar eclipses are not usually taken as signs that bode well for the old order (whatever it is), for the places the eclipse touches. The old is swept away to make way for the new. For the places in the path of totality of solar eclipses, the Moon’s shadow hides the Sun as the Moon travels between the earth and the Sun. As this hides the light, the eclipse is supposed to mean a change of direction or circumstances that is not foreseen. Stuff is supposed to happens without prior knowledge or preparation. It used to be a portent that a king would be de-throned or die in ancient times and a new one would take his place.
Of course, astrologers are curious to see if the eclipse affects DJT. The Sun/Moon conjoin in his 12th house, at the approximate midpoint between his (lucky) natal Jupiter at 17 Libra RX, and his Uranus at 17 Gemini in the 10th and sextile to each. More interesting is that transiting Mars at 0 Cancer and transiting Chiron at 0 Taurus Rx make a Yod with his progressed Moon at 0 Sagittarius in the 4th of home. Transiting Pluto will oppose his progressed Saturn at 3 Leo. There are several close aspects to his Ascendant at 29 Leo by transiting Ceres at 29 Gemini, progressed Ceres at 29 Capricorn Rx, and the transiting Nodes at 29 Leo/Aquarius. Also, transiting Juno is square progressed Juno at 29 Libra. Lots of end of sign aspects happening. Would not put it past him to just keep on going though. Maybe Melania (Juno) will just take a holiday. It’s impossible to “predict” anything these days, LOL! Jupiter does tend to jolly these things up some.
Interesting analysis SweetGrapes. Re Elon Musk, maybe worth looking at the Solar Eclipse of 11th August, 2018 at 19 Leo? He was having a turbulent time:
7 August
Musk tweets: “Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured.” Tesla shares rise 11%. US regulators start investigating as Tesla is hit by two class-action lawsuits. Musk later defends his action and clarifies that he has been talking to the Saudi sovereign wealth fund about financing.
13 August
Azealia Banks claims she has been hanging out at Musk’s house while his girlfriend, the musician Grimes, comforts him for being “too stupid to know not to go on Twitter while on acid”. Musk denies ever having met the rapper.
16 August
Musk gives an emotional interview to the New York Times in which he acknowledges he is “fraying”, needs Ambien to sleep and has some friends who are “really concerned” about his health.” from The Guardian archives, “Elon Musk’s ‘difficult and painful’ 2018”
And since Birthday Boy DJT was born on the day of a Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, does that tend to make him (or any other eclipse individuals) more sensitive to all eclipses, or just those that aspect his natal chart?
“Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire on Friday, following the record-breaking stock market debut of his company SpaceX.
With a current estimated net worth of about $1.11tn, according to Bloomberg, Musk sits well above wealthy billionaires topping rich lists, including Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and boss of French luxury goods group LVMH, Bernard Arnault.” BBC News, 13 June 2026
Elon Musk has Jupiter in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Virgo. Tr Jupiter in Cancer (his birth sign) is currently activating that. Obviously, there’s much more going on, but here’s a clear example of a Jupiter transit in operation!
You haven’t read Sergey Brinn’s chart yet, the founder of Google. He has a great story, a Russian born who immigrated to America poor and started Google in his garage. I’m curious about his harmonics, 17th 22d? What aspects would come up in a harmonics chart with someone like him who has a special destiny mapped out.
Hello Marjorie
Your mention in David Hockneys write up about an Air Grand Trine being in his 5th Harmonic had me heading over to Astro.com to pull up the ‘Nine Harmonic Charts’. I never really grasp how to interpret them before. Even with your past explanations and advice on Harmonics which I love reading about I still couldn’t get it but today you mentioned as above and something clicked.
Sooo… I want to ask you if Grand Trines in Harmonic charts is another way to identify our strongest Harmonics? If you find a double Kite in one is that one even stronger still? Would those particular numbers be like the leading actors in my show, so to speak, to be played out in those Grand trines/Kites?
Much thanks , J
This post is in the wrong place
Can you look at the American news media corps for their forecast ahead? Fox, Cnn, and Washingpost you had read in 2018 and was great to note the pandemic planetary influences. We would love to know what’s coming up. I wonder if we have any big years ahead in the cosmos like 2020.
Hi Marjorie, could you look at the chart of the artist David Hockney who passed away today aged 88.
Thanks
Could you have a look at the chart for the 1st Marquess Cornwallis, aka Lord Cornwallis, (born 31 December 1738 in Grosvenor Square, London, according to Wikipedia) who appears to have led a very active life in the international politics of his time.
Apart from being well-known to the Americans for having surrendered to Washington, he was later the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland who secured the passage of the Act of Union between Great Britain and Ireland, and was also the Governor-General of India who was supposed to have laid the groundwork for the British Raj in India (he died in India, during his term of office).
I was doing a few searches on this site of the chart(s) for England, as opposed to the UK’s, when I chanced upon the chart for Northern Ireland in one of the posts. And it immediately jumped to me that NI’s ascendant is at 7 Gemini.
Tr Uranus is headed that way and will be conjunct the NI Ascendant in a year and a half’s time.
In an earlier post (can’t remember which one), I remember remarking that Pluto at a particular point in Aquarius seem to trigger a change in the composition or power of the Irish Parliament, going all the way back to the 13th century. Pluto is due to hit that point in 2029-2030.
I am now more convinced than ever that astrologically speaking, there will be Irish unification by the early 2030s at the latest.
Can I request you, Marjorie, when you have a quiet moment, to do a post on Northern Ireland and the ROI (Rest of Ireland), particularly on the point of reunification?
Beautiful flowers !
Can you do Emily Damari ( she was born June 10, 1996 in Israel , unknown time ). Kidnapped and injured on October 7. 2023. She has British citizenship because of her mom.
The poppy, Cerulean Blue, very few flowers if any others at all that colour. Beautiful.
My other most favourite is the Jacaranda tree though it veers towards the purple and for some reason is a tricky colour for even modern cameras to catch exactly. Definitely not designed for Scottish weather.
Jacandra- beautiful. Prevalent here in California now.
Thank you for the amazing picture
Prevalent in Lisboa too.
Addictive, that blue poppy.
Sticking with the sport theme – how about England crickets troubled test captain Ben Stokes. Incredible when at the top of his game, and a nightmare when its going wrong. He is in trouble, yet again. He was born 4th June 1991, in Christchurch, New Zealand, at allegedly 6:30am
Please: Bari Weiss
How is the World Cup going to go? Seems like a tough time to be in the US right now.
Also, any hope for an England win?
This is such a divisive World Cup, I’m not very happy about it – and normally I always enjoy it. It kicks off with three opening ceremonies – 17.30 GMT Mexico and Toronto, 11th June. Plus 03.30 GMT 13th June, Los Angeles. The opening match is 8.00pm BST. I noticed that Venus in Cancer is more or less conjunct Jupiter, square Chiron in Aries. That might signify something about the vast size of this tournament, and perhaps Chiron in a sporty sign suggests difficulties, ‘wounds’, or simply arguments around the massive greed (Venus/Jupiter) and unfairness involved?
Also I noticed Mercury will turn retrograde in Cancer on 29th June, with sporting Mars entering Gemini the day before, moving to conjunct Uranus at the beginning of July. Jupiter (another sporting planet) enters Leo on 30th June, so perhaps the atmosphere will change around the end of the month? There’s the ‘Basket’ aspect pattern forming, which I hope bodes well for all involved. But as a fan, I’m disappointed by pretty much everything to do with this World Cup!
I don’t know anyone in my circle of football fans who are looking forward to it, Jane and it never boded well starting with Infantino’s cringeworthy Uriah Heep impersonation. The deportation of the Somalian referee and arrest and questioning of an Iraqi footballer doesn’t bode well either.
Hello VF – just a random aside – you were asking about hobbies changing since Uranus moved into Gemini. It occurred to me that back in Feb I started trying to learn Spanish – Uranus had retro’ed into Taurus, so perhaps that’s why I stopped after a month. Then a month ago, I started trying to learn Python programming which I’d dabbled with about a decade ago. So how’s that for Uranus in Gemini – learning languages – one to do with computers!!
And my brain is going at 100mph most of the time these days – tons of nervous energy I’ve never had before; a real struggle to concentrate on anything for more than ten minutes
Yes, I know what you mean, GD. Seeing a past situation, but in a totally different light for me – I mean in a life-changing way. Certainly the Uranian energy right on my midheaven at the moment is invigorating to say the least!
The wonderful thing about astrology is that there’s a different, more positive way to interpret the same aspects.
Football is of course known as “the beautiful game”. And the World Cup is its apogee, its highest point.
So a Venus-Jupiter (Maximus Optimus) conjunction is very apposite for its opening.
Chiron is of course a hurt centaur, but also a physician who could heal others. So perhaps Chiron square the beautiful game could mean that the game may heal wounds outside the game/far away from the games, while the hurt is within the host (North America in general).
Hey Jane – good to see you on here again, I seem to recall you saying you have family history with a football club(?) so was wondering what you’d think about it. I’ve put some comments on the post Marjorie has created before seeing this; and they somewhat echo your attitude to it.
Hello GD – yes, one of my ancestors on my Dad’s side is a founding member of what is now a Premier League club. He was quite a character by all accounts! I do love football, always have. I just hate what’s happening to it. But then I love all kinds of music, while the actual ‘business’ side of that is horrible and quite destructive for the artists. I hope your optimistic thoughts re Pluto in Aquarius bear fruit soon.
Is this a Himalayan Poppy? It’s a truly beautiful flower…and the colour is magical
Yes – Meconopsis – my absolute favourite colour. Tricky to grow.
Absolutely gorgeous!
It’s an incredible colour! Love your flower pics, thank you
I have never seen a Blue Poppy… a m a z i n g 🙂 ***
Me too.
Marjorie, if you ever produce an astro calendar, you have some ready made picture material! I’d associate this delicate, sky blue flower with perhaps?, Pisces, Aqua or Libra.
I meant to say three daughters. Neisha is gaining attention for her incredible guitar playing.
Hi Marjorie,
In the Philippines, a family in Cebu City, the parents have daughters and one boy.
The oldest sister is 16, she is gaining attention for her incredible guitar skills. The whole
family is officially a band, known as Missioned Souls. They play mainly 1970’s hard rock
covers of various well known music of the era. Surprisingly, they are all very talented.
It is very interesting to listen to an almost perfect rendition played live, and to look and
see mere kids/teens playing it all, for real, out loud….. They are just amazing.
I don’t know what the astrology would be, since this is a family, all I can think of
is generational/evolutionary transits such as Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini.
