Actor Anthony Head much loved and respected by his peers and public alike for his performances in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin and Ted Lasso as well as the Nescafe Gold Blend commercials which first brought him fame, has died of pneumonia only a few months after his long-time partner.
He was born 20 February 1954 in London and started his dramatic career in musical theatre before the coffee advert opened the doors to major roles in several television series.
He was a charming Sun Venus in Pisces square Mars in lively Sagittarius; with his Sun trine a hard-working, conscientious Saturn in Scorpio as well as Neptune in late Libra and opposition Pluto. His Neptune was in an inventive square to Uranus; and his Pluto was widely sextile Jupiter. His Moon was Virgo/Libra. He died when tr Jupiter was square his Neptune.
What is interesting is that his creative Harmonics – 5H, 7H and the actors’ 15H – all have strong Mars Pluto aspects which are not readily visible from his natal chart. Underneath his gentle image there was a do-or-die determined streak.

That is an interesting insight. I think that’s how he was able to impact on Buffy tVS. His Giles character was a gentle, kind guide to heroine Buffy and her friends, but he also had a past as the brutal, black magic dabbler Ripper, who would flicker through occasionally on the show. To be fair, he impacted strongly playing a number of villains. Acting is maybe how he channelled that uncompromising Mars Pluto energy.
