Trump – have you no decency, sir?

Trump is continuing his petulant war of words with CNN, retweeting a doctored image with the CNN logo imposed on a bloodlike splatter under his shoe. Even a conservative radio host criticized him for attacking CNN and the FBI on the morning of Christmas Eve. He tweeted “Grow up sir. Have you no sense of decency? Go spend time with your family.” And a former Government Ethics director call him a “wannabe autocrat”. “These colicky tweets reveal he’s hurting this weekend. They make him (and our country) look weak.”

Full of his usual festive cheer.

CNN certainlys hit him in a vulnerable spot astrologically. They launched on 1 June 1980 6pm EST and have Saturn in meticulous, workmanlike Virgo which squares onto Trump’s Sun and Moon, so he’ll appreciate them as much as being doused in a bucket of cold water. Saturn cuts down to size, criticizes, shines a light on shadow issues. The CNN Pluto is also conjunct his Jupiter for a power-playing struggle for the upper hand; and given that their Pluto also squares his Saturn, they block him by making him feel unloved (Saturn in Cancer).

The Trump/CNN relationship chart has an explosive, abrasive composite Mars Uranus conjunction; and another fight-for-control aspect in a composite Sun square Pluto. Relations will continue to slide through 2018 but it will be 2019 when they hit their nadir.

  1. I know you don’t put much stock in Mercury retrograde, Marjorie. But I can’t help but think that Trump signing the tax reform bill as Mercury was beginning to station direct can’t bode well for its longevity. IMO, there’s a good chance it won’t stick for the long haul. My personal experience with Merc retro: whenever I’ve signed a contract/document during that phase, it just doesn’t pan out as anticipated. No exceptions. Hope that will be the case with Trump’s rich-get-richer, trickle-down tax bill. That Mercury retrograde signature has got to somehow throw a wrench in the deal……soon or eventually. Many good wishes to you in 2018. Love the photo of your dog. Beautiful!

    • I read an article somewhere a while back that stated Amazon and Ebay have more spelling mistakes (errors in keywords and thus can’t reach their targeted audiences) during Mercury Retrograde (muddy thinking) than other times in the year plus more technical issues during those times and it was able to be validated. Well, by validated, I mean by astrologers. It was ‘just a coincidence’ to others that those glitches fell during the Mercury retrograde times. For the life of me, I can’t find the damn article. Typical!

      • I’ve worked at tech support for years. My mini-research showed around 30 per cent surge in contacts during Mercury Retrogrades. Also, many people working on technical support have Mercury Retrograde. Mine is Stationary, it turned direct in 10 hours. The most brilliant “trouble shooter” I’ve ever met has a Mercury Rx conjunct Uranus within a degree.

  2. My cousin fully believes everything Trumps proclaims and does, tweets included. “All news networks are fake!” OK…so where do you go for news? “I listen to the President!” Hmmm.

It is sad, as my cousin and I were once close; now, we’re as polar opposite as two could ever be.

    • It’s shocking how blind people can be, isn’t it? I’ve come across some Trump supporters who seem to hold him up against Clinton and declare that compared to her he is pristine and truthful as if that is the yardstick for their judgements. I always ask, “Don’t you think it’s at all possible that they are as corrupt and untruthful as each other? That behind closed doors they all answer to the same powers that be?” I often get a blank stare, a few blinks like they are about to short circuit as they think about it, then a quick brush off and a snarl of, “Don’t be so damn ridiculous!” They just will not entertain the idea at all that he could be corrupt.

      • What we tend to forget is that not everyone reads the Washington Post, Guardian etc. They get spoon-fed junk by their favourite echo-chamber, which re-confirms their bias all the time. And changing people’s mind isn’t as simple as it sounds. Common sense would tell you that you look at the evidence and if it (and corroborated it) tells you something new, then you alter your opinion. Not so. People cling onto their mindset like a drowning man to a piece of drift wood. Take away their certainties and they feel as if they are about to disappear under the waves.
Much the same in science, as Kuhn’s paradigm shift exposition clearly demonstrated. I could do on for paragraphs but I won’t.

        • when trump entered the race with his build-the-wall platform, i was amazed at how racist and bigoted she was beneath it all. i stopped calling on the telephone – she would get triggered into yelling and shouting fits of rage. I don’t miss any of that. no xmas cards from that side of the family this year.
