  1. Marjorie: I’m also very interested re the prospects of Jon Ossoff in the June 20 congressional run-off against Republican rival Karen Handel (April 18, 1962). This is a hugely important contest that has grabbed the national spotlight. Georgia has been a stubbornly conservative state for decades. Democrat Ossoff could turn that around. He’s had great momentum…..even Hollywood has gotten involved in his campaign, sending scores of film stars to Atlanta to bolster his chances. A win for Ossoff could be a harbinger of a successful revolt against the Trump administration.

  2. Hi Marjorie,

    Maria Sharapova (April 19, 1987 Nyagan, Russia) will return from her doping suspension and play her first match in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix next Wednesday. She and her team have been doing overtime with the PR for this comeback in the past couple of months. Lots of her colleagues on both the women’s and men’s tours aren’t exactly welcoming her back with open arms. I was wondering how her big return to tennis might play out. Thank you!

  3. Just wanted to say how thankful I am you post so regularly on persons and events of interest to so many. Truly a great service to humanity. Thank you!

  4. Hi Marjorie;

    Please could you comment on Jon Ossoff’s (born February 16, 1987) chance of winning in the June special election for the Georgia seat. He narrowly lost majority and so will have to have a run off.
    Among all the democrat leaders I see Gavin Newsom (October 10, 1967) as a charismatic person to take Obama’s place. So also Cory Booker((born April 27, 1969). What are their chances? Also any chance the democrats can win seats and control of senate in the next election?
    Thank you for your work.
