  1. Marjorie, You say that astrology cannot indicate guilt or innocence, but what about a conspiracy pact? It has long been rumoured that Henry VII, his mother and Richard III agreed that the two prince’s in the tower had to be killed and disposed of. And they also agreed that whoever in the end won the crown would reward the person who did the deed. Apparently Henry VII did just this.

  2. Ending WW2…have seen little to no online news regarding the two atomic bombings in Japan, 1945.

Has humanity forgotten what happened? Rhetorical, of course..

  3. Cripes, Marjorie. Have you seen the one about Doris Duke? Do you have any time or inclination to have a look at her chart?
    Thank you.

  4. Hi Marjorie,
This is a long shot (at least time-wise) and you could write an article on this at leisure (not a current event).
I was watching a documentary on the English Reformation (under Henry VIII) and a few things leapt out at me. In particular, one of the early moves that Henry VIII did though Parliament was to legislate against appeals to courts on the Continent (in this context, the papal/ecclesiastical courts of the Roman Catholic Church). This has striking similarities with the conflict about the ECJ jurisdiction during the post-referendum period and that being a “red-line” for the UK.
The English Reformation is almost precisely two Pluto Returns before Brexit, so I played around with the previous and succeeding Pluto Returns. While the Pluto return in between the English Reformation and Brexit (1770s-80s)does not seem to have any particular legal developments (apart from the American Revolution and Grattan’s Constitution in Ireland reducing the powers of the English Privy Council in Ireland), the preceding one (1270s) seems to be packed with legal developments in English common law, with the creation of the Court of Common Pleas, the Hundred Rolls and the Statutes of Westminster, Gloucester and Mortmain all dating to that decade.
So my suggestion for an article for you (and possibly Hugh Fowler) to look at the placement of Pluto and the other outer planets in the relevant England chart to see why (a) Pluto triggered so many legal developments at that particular placement and (b) why nothing seems to have occurred in the 1770s-80s.

    • As an aside, given that these Pluto Returns have seen seismic changes in English law, I suspect that the UK/England may even leave the European Convention (and Court) of Human Rights (which is not a part of the EU, but a completely separate treaty to which all countries in Europe, including Russia and Turkey, are signatories) in this coming decade.
A study of the England charts and the ECHR’s charts would be very appreciated.

  5. GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham has tested positive for Covid-19 after being fully vaccinated and has experienced “flu-like symptoms,” he announced Monday.

“I was just informed by the House physician I have tested positive for #COVID19 even after being vaccinated. I started having flu-like symptoms Saturday night and went to the doctor this morning,” he tweeted.

Why did he wait thru the weekend? “https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/coronavirus-pandemic-vaccine-updates-08-02-21/h_31a71e3f83ff9e14fe997aa9c298baf3”

Will he survive having covid…? Maybe Trump will come down from the mountain and breathe life back into the senator.

  6. More information about Nikole Hannah-Jones regarding her appointment to the UNC-Chapel Hill would be interesting She refused an offer of tenure to accept the position of Knight Chair in Race and Investigative Journalism, at Howard.

  7. Bit off the usual topic. I dug out an old natal chart interpretation (20 years ish) from yours truly and noticed something described as a ‘high burn rate’. The particulars of my chart aside, it isn’t an expression I have heard used in astrology, are you able to elaborate a little on where it comes from please?

    • Louisa—I know you addressed this to Marjorie, but I’ve heard more than once a “burn rate” referenced to personal karma. Astrologically, for me, karma is directly referential to the South Node as the jumpoff point and suggests a lot of suffering or sacrifice toward a higher good as a means of burnoff. The individual chart features would support the nodal story in some way. Not at all saying this is the “only” answer, but hope it is helpful.

    • Hi Difficult to say without seeing the context – might have been a reference to a tendency to burnout – going full tilt until you run out of steam.

  8. Marjorie: Producer Aaron Sorkin’s film about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (“Being the Ricardos”) is due out early next year.
Nicole Kidman has been cast as Ball–a controversial choice. Anyway, I’m wondering if you could zero in on the synastry
of Ball and Arnaz–arguably the most iconic couple of the 20th century. Sorkin has said that “they were madly in love
with each other, but there was friction.” Their marriage was turbulent, for sure, ultimately ending in divorce. Your
    insights? Many thanks, as always.

  9. Hi Marjorie,
Any thoughts on Mike Lindell, the My Pillow founder and conspiracy theorist? Apparently he believe the SCOTUS will reinstate Trump on August 10? He has an interesting background, crack addict, successful businessman and, now, political nut job.
