Marjorie, can you look at the hot mess that is the Universal Credit, if there’s a chart? It’s being pushed out nationwide now even though there are very serious problems with it. It’s being called, “a social policy disaster in the making,” (Guardian, Oct 24). The House of Commons voted overwhelmingly this week to pause it until the problems were ironed out but in an ugly show of anti-democracy, Theresa May and her ilk have stuck two fingers up at everybody and its problems and have pushed ahead regardless. Even the mastermind behind it, Ian Duncan Smith, has admitted it really needs to be looked at and sorted out.

Is it possible you could write something in regards to Gwen Graham? She’s a Democrat and former congresswoman of Florida’s 2nd Congressional District. She’s running for governor next year and I’m hoping she’ll win the primaries and then win the general election. Her father (Bob Graham) was our governor back in the 1980s. Anyway, Gwen Graham has been seen as a “rising star” in the Democratic Party. She’s been attracting a lot of support from not only traditional Democrats but from Independents, etc. lately. I’m wondering what her chances might be for next year. After all, Graham pulled off a surprise victory in Florida’s 2nd heavily Republican district a few years ago….I wonder if she can pull it off for governor too.

Terry Richardson has been banned from pretty much all the major fashion magazines. His despicable behavior toward the models was an open secret, pretty much like Harvey Weinstein’s.
Yes, the fashion industry definitely knew. Despite knowing they continued to send girls to Terry Richardson for shoots. Fashion is just as messed up as Hollywood. I read about Rapist Terry Richardson for a few years (since at least 2014) mostly through digital publications and a city weekly paper, in NYC.
I’m guessing this is why the fashion industry didn’t wait for more models to come forward, after the Weinstein story broke. Soon after they circulated a letter blacklisting him. I’m glad. But it’s shameful they didn’t act until another predator was exposed.
