  1. Hello – a little celebrity gossip from the UK. What do you think will happen in the future to Roxanne Pallett? She was recently on Celebrity Big Brother and accused Ryan Thomas of repeatedly punching her, although the footage showed differently.

  2. The late republican senator John McCain’s 106 year old mother is a wonder in her own right. Had an identical twin sister who passed away at age 99. Was driving until recently. Roberta was born in Muskeegee Oklahoma on February 7, 1912.

  3. Marjorie,

Last night, Andrew Gillum made history by winning the Democratic Gubernatorial Primary and becoming the first African-American gubernatorial candidate here in Florida. Gillum’s win was considered a huge surprise – many of us were expecting Gwen Graham (the candidate I voted for in the primaries) to win because she had been consistently ahead in the polls.

Anyway, Andrew Gillum has been attracting a lot of media attention and his victory has been making national coverage. Gillum is very progressive, he appears to be inspiring a lot of young people, he was endorsed by Bernie Sanders (Sanders even came to Florida to campaign for him) and he’s been getting a lot support from people all over the country.

I will be voting for Andrew Gillum this November and I’m encouraging everyone else I know here in Florida to do the same.

I was just wondering if you had any astrological insights in regards to Andrew Gillum’s historic victory last night….and if the stars indicate a victory for him this November.

Andrew Gillum was born on July 26, 1979 (birth time unknown) in Miami, Florida.

    • Fox news strikes again. The (white) republican candidate for governor of Florida used the word monkey when he was trashing Gillum on air.

The word monkey should never be said in any sentence in any way about an African American. Never.

Chris, since I’m not in Florida and can’t vote for Gillum, I backed up my opinion with a contibution to Gillum’s campaign.

      • Thank you so much for helping Andrew Gillum out. His campaign really needs money. I’m hoping the national Democratic Party and small donors will help fund Gillum – it’s absolutely imperative that Gillum win against Ron DeSantis this November.

Ron DeSantis, the Trump-backed White nationalist Republican candidate who won the nomination for the GOP, is absolutely horrible. I don’t even want to think of DeSantis possibly becoming the next governor here in Florida.

I live in Jacksonville – North Florida…and Ron DeSantis represents Florida’s 6th Congressional District which runs from a small part of Jacksonville (Duval County) thru St. Augustine (St. John’s County) down to Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach (both in Volusia County). We’re all too familiar with Ron DeSantis up here…and we detest him.

Ron DeSantis is openly racist and misogynistic. DeSantis has openly advocated violence against Muslims and he has openly demeaned women by saying they were incapable of being in leadership roles because of “biological causes” (he actually said that).

DeSantis supporters are just as horrible. They too have made racist and misogynistic remarks about people. For example, there were DeSantis supporters who were attacking Democrat Gwen Graham (the candidate I supported during the primaries) by calling her disparaging and sexist slurs – they even attacked Gwen for being of partial Middle Eastern heritage (Gwen Graham is of partial Syrian and Lebanese-Maronite heritage). DeSantis supporters also made antisemitic remarks about Democrat Philip Levine’s Jewish heritage – some of them even defaced his gubernatorial campaign signs in Tampa by spray-painting swastikas on them!

So, we CANNOT allow Ron DeSantis to get elected. I don’t want DeSantis anywhere near the Florida Governor’s Mansion.

I’m definitely voting for Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson this November and I’m going to be making weekly donations to their campaigns.

I’m so happy you’re helping Gillum….but if you could, please consider making a contribution to Senator Bill Nelson’s campaign too. Bill Nelson is facing a tough reelection this year – he’s up against Rick Scott (who is extremely corrupt and very wealthy).

        Thanks again.

        • Yesterday Dictionary.com added “dog whistle” because of the Desantis comment on Fox news. (For those who might not know, politicians use words that let other swamp dwellers know they are on their team, like Desantis using the word monkey.)

Will head over to Senator Nelson’s website.
