Clutching for straws in the intractable standoff with Iran with Trump sounding increasingly desperate and the Iranians stronger than before with the Strait of Hormuz forever after their winning strategy – two separate astro-thoughts.
One is that this weekend till the middle of August tr Neptune at 4 degrees Aries will significantly impact Netanyahu, his relationship with Trump and Israel.
Working backwards. Israel’s chart will have a disappointing tr Neptune square its Venus in Cancer. Netanyahu’s Uranus in Cancer at the same degree will be nerve-stretched and agitated. His relationship chart with Trump has a composite Venus at 4 degrees Libra so disillusionment between them as well; with two composite Saturn midpoints also causing great uncertainty and suspicion in their relationship.
This Neptunian influence repeats in the spring 2027 and late year into early 2028 – if either or both are still standing by that time career-wise. With Netanyahu facing a messy career upheaval August to late October this year with tr Uranus square his Pluto/MC midpoint, it looks less than likely he will be a main player.
The other thought – oh sweet irony – is that Trump is likely to end up with a distinctly inferior deal to the one the Obama administration reached in 2015. Trump has called it “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into” and claimed: “Never, ever, ever in my life have I seen any transaction so incompetently negotiated as our deal with Iran.” Hey ho, hoist up his own flagpole.
His obsessive dislike of Barack Obama, no doubt coloured by his inherent racism, antipathy to centrist politics – and envy of Obama’s popularity – is exacerbated by their synastry. Obama’s Leo Sun is conjunct DT’s 12th house Pluto stirring dark, subterranean feeling of envy, jealousy and rage in DT. Obama’s Uranus North Node are conjunct DT’s Mars Ascendant which is a recipe for an explosive chemistry. As if that wasn’t enough Obama’s Mars in Virgo is also square DT’s Sun Uranus and Moon for an angry clash of aims.
Their relationship chart has a bleak composite Saturn trine Pluto – stuck together and resenting it. Plus an impatient composite Moon opposition Mars square Jupiter conjunct the pugnacious Antares. And worse, composite Neptune opposition Saturn square Uranus, Mercury, Sun North Node = doubt, suspicion, distrust, differing agendas and an almost fanatically uncompromising streak.
The Iran attack took place when the tr Mars square Uranus was exactly conjunct and square the composite DT/Obama midheaven. Which hints the ill judged foray may have been, in part, an effort to outdo Obama – and wow did that ever backfire.
Other odds and ends – Trump’s chart relocated to Iran puts his wayward Uranus in the 7th house of allies and enemies; with an unrealistic Neptune in the 10th. The combative Antares sits on the relocated Ascendant and the unfortunate Scheat on the IC. His Progressed Moon is moving through the 12th house of his relocated chart for almost another year which is not generally progressive.
The FT has a couple of cogent pieces about how Putin and Trump both threw away strong hands in acts of ‘geopolitical self-harm.’
‘Russia’s inability to subdue Ukraine is the most expensive failed war in modern history. By intimidating neighbours like Finland, Putin has more than doubled the length of Nato’s boundary with Russia entirely through his own doing.’
‘Likewise, America’s sway over the Middle East is broken. In very different ways, Kyiv and Tehran are showing the world how to bring a colossus low.’
‘Each is burdening their countries with costs that will persist many years after they have lost power.’

Astrologically Netanyahu is definitely on his way out, the Knesset has recently voted to dissolve by a margin of 110-0, and it must now proceed and be passed into law, which according to the Israeli constitution, the elections must be held within 90 days, there is no way Netanyahu will win again. Probably that is the reason he is trying to prolong the war with Iran and Lebanon, to try and avoid new elections, but he is not winning. It looks like Neftali Bennett is making a comeback.
Trump is weak, he support base is crashing each and every day. He has received a lot of criticism from his great supporters like Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and others about the Nuclear deal he was trying to sign recently with Iran, he later called them losers. The upcoming August eclipse looks very potent, it looks like it is the one that is finally going to kick him out if office. His health is not on the good side. The last time I checked his ratings, they were sitting at 34%, it is clearly someone who does not have enough support to stay in office.
When it comes to Putin, his birth chart looks elusive or probably his birth date is not correct. He rules with iron fist, it looks like most Russians are scared to challenge him, though the coming years looks like he is finally losing his grip, as Pluto in Aquarius will give power to the people, they will finally grow backbones.
I think you’re reading too much into the non astrological events you’ve highlighted.
Israeli elections were due by October 2026 anyway. The Knesset passing a law on dissolution is almost certainly a required formality, like the King dissolving Parliament in the UK. It is shaped by outside events, even though the niceties of the formality are maintained.
Re Trump, nobody expected him to win a second term. But, like the Spanish Inquisition, here we are. I fully expect him to lose the House. But he’s still the President, and the Senate and SCOTUS are his puppets. So I wouldn’t put to much emphasis on his negative poll ratings. Keep in mind that in the US system, he remains President, with full powers, regardless of his poll ratings. And as he’s no longer up for elections, he had nothing to lose in screaming over the country.
Re Putin, I will only point to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and the history of Russia over the past century and a half.
I think you misunderstood, Netanyahu might not even make it to the October elections, either through his poor health or death, he may be forced out of office. With regards to Trump winning 2024 elections, there are people who are starting to speak out that Elon Musk “cooked” the election results. Neptune is still in Trump’s 8th house of secrets, don’t be surprised if it’s the same Elon Musk who exposes him, and tells the truth. Just wait and see what’s coming in the US, 2026 is not going to end the same for Trump, still having the same powers, that’s if if he still the President by then.
Following these political figures’ charts is so wildly frustrating that I never feel any confidence that specific outcomes (as to health, success in elections etc.) can be predicted accurately. The surprises (or lack thereof) just keep coming. However, there does seem to be a trend toward more serious outcomes developing. What I note is that in the next couple of years the transits of the outer planets are lining up so that Pluto, Neptune and Uranus appear in different signs at the same degree for brief periods. In July 2026, they are spanning their signs at 4 degrees, in June 2027 they collect again at 6 degrees and for one day, May 13, 2028, they are all at 8 degrees. Then they go their separate ways as their speeds change. Which leads me to presume that their collective pull on human events may manifest in more powerful ways in those periods.
The various leaders may or may not have significant natal or progressed planets that are triggered, and I haven’t checked who gets what from which planets. Trump’s progressed Ascendant, for example, on July 11 is at 4 degrees Scorpio. There are other influences on his natal and progressed planets around that time, but because of the outer planets connecting to his chart, it could be significant for him personally. It doesn’t mean anything will happen to him bodily or that he will come to harm, but it might mean the outers are making whatever may happen stronger than usual in their impact. The same with the other leaders. We do not know and so we wait and observe. I would not bet on any specific outcome. The world is just too complicated.

‘His obsessive dislike of Barack Obama, no doubt coloured by his inherent racism, antipathy to centrist politics – and envy of Obama’s popularity’.
Trump is, and always has been, so jealous of the popularity of the Obama’s and his time in office, that he would rather remove Obamacare and undo the good of his time as President just to bolster his own ego, unfortunately ignoring the damage to the American people.
Also good from the astro point of view that Natanyahu, at last, should be getting his dues, probably along with Trump and Putin and not before time, could be around the eclipse 12 August, 2026? Perhaps…
The climate zero people probably aren’t too upset about stopping the oil…and I read that shipping companies were busy rerouting so I wonder whether long term this Hormuz gamble will play out badly for Iran? Will have to check out Mr Campions book.
