Keir Starmer is under assault from another direction with John Healey, Minister of Defence resigning, saying the planned low-level investment in defence “could make the country less safe.” While making it clear he still supported Labour, Healey pointed up Starmer’s double speak in explaining the dangers the country face while at the same time refusing to fund the necessary protections.

Healey, 13 February 1960 is a Sun Aquarius sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius; with a stubborn Mercury in Pisces opposition Pluto which clashes with Starmer’s Sun, Pluto, Uranus in Virgo opposition Jupiter.  He’s clearly been unhappy for a while with his Solar Arc Neptune conjunct his Saturn and his Solar Arc Pluto conjunct his Pluto last year and the year before.

 His relationship chart with KS has a composite Sun catching the tr Uranus opposition at the moment for a sharp separation; with tr Saturn conjunct the composite Mars for bad feeling.

 Starmer’s leadership chart, 2 April 2020 10.45 am, continues to be under intolerable pressure with tr Pluto into the 8^th in a trapped conjunction to the Mars from mid August onwards; and worse in a destabilising square the Uranus at the moment, repeating on and off into 2027. Plus Solar Arc Pluto Jupiter conjunct the Satun exactly now. Even his elastic must be at the point of snapping.

 The Ministry of Defence chart, 12 March 1964, is showing signs of high anxiety and paralysis at the moment with the Solar Arc Mars opposition the Neptune; with two years of upheaval in 2027/28 with tr Uranus square the Uranus Pluto; followed by a seriously worrying SA Pluto conjunct the Neptune by 2030 for major confusion and meltdown.

ADD ON: Dan Jarvis has been made Minister for Defence with some criticism of him as a former military officer for having accepted the under-funded poisoned chalice. He served in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland before becoming an MP in 2011.

 Born 30 November 1972 in Nottingham, he has an idealistic Sun Neptune in Sagittarius sextile Pluto, with his Pluto in a pushily-confident square to Jupiter and his Sun in a hard-working opposition to Saturn – plus an ultra-determined Mars Venus conjunction in Scorpio. Quite a mix and no pushover.

 His relationship chart with Starmer is highly stressed with a yod of Jupiter sextile Saturn inconjunct Mars – though there is nothing aspecting the yod anytime soon.

 His natal chart will be nerve-stretched from this August with tr Uranus opposition his Neptune through October and again in spring 2027. Tr Uranus then opposes his Sun/Neptune midpoint for much the same and by mid 2027 his Sun so he’s on a rocky ride ahead, which may include another election. This year anyway he has tr Neptune opposition his Pluto late May to end of August and on and off into 2028 which will be unnerving.

  Emily Damari, a Hamas captive for 491 days after the October 2023 attack, has been a prominent voice since her release raising awareness for the remaining hostages. Gunshot injuries to her hand and leg remained untreated after she was taken and have subsequently needed multiple surgeries.

 Born 10 June 1996 in Israel, with a British mother and Israeli father, she was a staff sergeant with Israeli Border Police. In her stories about her time underground in Hamas tunnels she is honest about the psychological toll it took, but her dogged determination not to be broken, including doing 500 daily sit ups despite her injuries, is remarkable.

 She is a Sun Venus in Gemini with Saturn in self-reliant Aries, the generational Neptune Uranus conjunction; and more significantly Mars Mercury Algol conjunct in Taurus opposition Pluto which will give her courage, resilience and iron resolve. Her Jupiter in Capricorn is exactly square her North/South Node opposition giving her optimism and luck even as her chart also draws her towards danger.

 When she was captured on October 7 2023 tr Pluto was in a devastating conjunction to her Neptune and trine her Mars/Mercury midpoint; with tr Saturn in a high-tension, jolting conjunction to her Solar Arc Uranus. And oddly enough her Solar Arc Sun opposition her Jupiter and square her North Node, putting her unhappily at the centre of the key event of the time.

 During her captivity tr Pluto moved across a trapped, scary, dangerous conjunction to her Mars and when she was freed on 19 June 2025 it was still hovering around that point as it retrograded until early 2026 – as she underwent operations and worried about the friends left in captivity. Tr Uranus was also opposition her Pluto, hinting at a changed situation,  from August 2025 onwards as she became accustomed to her life on the outside. This year tr Pluto has started to conjunct her Uranus for more changed objectives.

  Her chemistry with Israel is robust with her Mars Mercury in Taurus falling in the Israel 8^th house close to its Taurus Sun and square its 10^th house Mars in Leo.

   Her relationship chart with Hamas, 14 December 1987, is understandably stark with composite Saturn opposition Mars square Pluto – hinting at cruelty, extreme dislike and hardship; as well as a fated and life-changing-for-both yod of Neptune Uranus sextile Sun inconjunct Mars.

Tommy Robinson, the face of the UK far-right, anti-immigration rabble has been issuing calls for his supporters to take to the streets across the UK over the knife attack in Belfast.

  All of which fits into the previous post: UK – into Uranus Pluto riot season, 3rd June 2026. Social media storms amped up the heat and bad actor activists seized the opportunity for a street brawl. Though there is also genuine concern about lax Ireland border controls and recent immigrants coming in from war-torn and violent cultures, whose crime rate is considerably higher than the resident population.

 Robinson was recently in Moscow meeting with Elon Musk’s father. He later described Russia as ‘civilized’; and earlier this year in the USA was feted by figures from the Maga right, meeting a Trump administration official at the state department and securing funding from wealthy US backers.

 Born 27 November 1982, Robinson he is a former BNP (fascist party) member and co-founder of the Islamophobic street-protest movement English Defence League, now largely defunct. He has a history of criminal convictions, including  assault, threats, harassment, and fraud and has served five prison terms between 2005 and 2025. He declared bankruptcy in 2021; and in 2024 The Times said that he owed in the region of £2 million to his creditors and was the subject of a HMRC investigation over unpaid taxes.

  He has a curiously hybrid chart with an adventurous and outspoken, fiery Sagittarius Sun, Uranus, Mercury and Venus which sits at odds with a formidable and fearsome Saturn Pluto in Libra square Mars in Capricorn. Undoubtedly driven by toxic levels of anger and hatred he won’t do anything by halves.

  As a figurehead for the present unrest, his chart may give a pointer to what is to come (though admittedly with his chaotic lifestyle it could also involve personal issues). But for what it is worth he is having his rebellious mid life crisis with tr Uranus opposing not only his Uranus but also his Sun picking up this July and running on and off into spring 2027. He will be more excitable and headstrong even than usual; amped up by his Solar Arc Mars square his Sun Uranus this year – which could point either a) to a collision-type shock; or b) to diving into an explosive situation and raising the heat. His Progressed Mars is also square his Jupiter for an opportunistic crusade, sugar-coating his rage with faux moral justifications. Into 2027 his Solar Arc Sun Uranus will conjunct his  Mars which could be the point at which his life blows up, hopefully with no collateral damage on the streets.

On the UK chart, the rebellion/protest-prone tr Uranus square the yod focal point Pluto is exact at the moment to mid this month, repeating mid December to mid January 2027, March to early April 2027. Protests of one sort or another are likely to continue.

Football fans will be bunkering down with enthusiasm as the FIFA World Cup kicks off in Mexico, then Toronto, followed by LA this week and continues on till July 19^th.  The first match in Mexico City kicks off 90 minutes after the opening ceremony, which is 11.30 am CST.

  There is the much touted Venus Jupiter conjunction in Cancer in place until June 25^th which is schmaltzy, sugary-sweet, good for fashion and keeping up appearances but inclines to be superficial, wasteful and expensive  – all show and no substance. The Venus opposes Pluto and squares a Taurus Moon adding to a slightly over-the-top, indulgent and acquisitive feel. None of which sounds too much like top class sport but time will tell. Though Mars in Taurus will help to put some boot into the proceedings.

Depending on whether the opening ceremony in Mexico is taken as the start chart = maybe disruptive with Uranus on the Midheaven and physically challenging with Pluto in the 6^th.  Or the opening match has a simmering cauldron of anger with Mars in the 8^th.

 The Los Angeles opening match 12 June 2026 4.30pm LA, has the bullishly assertive and excitable Mars Moon in the 7^th; with an intense 8^th house Sun.

  Time will tell which works best.

 Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President, who grovelled in front of Trump and awarded him the first FIFA Peace Prize last December in a cringeworthy ceremony, was born 23 March 1970 Switzerland. He is a Sun Mercury in Ares opposition Pluto and Uranus and sextile Neptune is go-ahead, ambitious, overly impulsively. With his money-attracting Jupiter in Scorpio opposition a tough Mars Saturn in Taurus, he does have grit though possibly flawed judgement with Jupiter Mars and Jupiter Saturn.  He looks nerve-stretched now till mid August which is hardly surprising with such a large enterprise to oversee and could be a touch over-confident with tr Pluto square his Jupiter late June to early August. Since that tugs on the opposition to Mars Saturn it may not end well especially in the aftermath.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy passing through London says he believes the Russian invasion is slowly turning in Ukraine’s favour. “We can’t say Russia is losing this war. But we can say they are losing the initiative.”

  Ukrainian drones have been crippling vital supply roads in Crimea, attacking St Petersburg and setting fire to oil terminals, causing severe fuel shortages in certain areas. On the eastern battlefield, Russia’s grinding advance has come to a near halt, losing more than 30,000 soldiers a month. Though it has not stopped Russia striking back and using cluster munitions in built-up areas inside Ukraine.

 But Putin is also losing allies with Orban’s defeat in Hungary, and pro-Kremlin candidates failing in Moldova and  Armenia; are isolated in Europe and increasingly in the USA. And the Russian economy is in trouble.

  Looking at the Invasion Declaration chart of 23 February 2022 9pm Moscow, it is not at all clear when the end point will be. It started on a ruthless Mars Pluto conjunction which is not closing by Solar Arc until mid 2027, which looks ominously far away. Though this year tr Uranus will oppose the Moon and square the Sun from this June onwards, running into mid 2027, which may begin to upset Putin’s best laid plans.

 Zelensky’s Term chart, 20 May 2019 10am Kiev looks highly unsettled this year and through 2027 with tr Pluto square the Uranus and Venus; with an undermining tr Neptune square Mars late September to early November this year. 

  His own personal chart has tr Pluto conjunct his Sun Venus which will be pressured, challenging and emotionally intense now and through 2027. His Progressed Moon has another 18 months of so wending through his hidden 12^th house and it will be New Year into 2028 before it emerges into his 1^st for a new beginning.

 Neither Ukraine 1918 or 1991 charts is illuminating and even after hostilities finish as they must at some point, there will still be extreme dislike between the two countries.

 I wondered if the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan might throw up a few astrological pointers.  The Soviet Afghan War started on 25 December 1979 and withdrawal was completed by 15 February 1989 with a teeth-gritting Mars opposition Pluto. At that point tr Uranus was conjunct the war-start Sun, with tr Neptune Saturn conjunct the Solar Arc Sun. Tr Uranus was conjunct the Solar Arc Midheaven; and the Solar Arc Neptune was into the 10^th as failure became obvious. So relatively clear.

  The US Afghan War started 7 October 2011 and finished with withdrawal 30 August 2021.  At the end tr Saturn was conjunct the Solar Arc Mars which was conjunct the start Neptune for a resounding failure. Tr Neptune was conjunct the Solar Arc Midheaven. Again clear cut.

 On the Ukraine invasion chart there is this year tr Uranus square the start Sun which might be a hopeful indicator; but otherwise it could be the end of the decade before tr Neptune will square the Moscow midheaven. However relocating the Declaration chart to Kiev puts a 3 degree Cancer Midheaven which tr Neptune is squaring this year. So there may be glimmerings of hope of an earlier cessation.

Cockroach Janta, a political movement started as a joke with a social media post that went viral in India has gained 19 million followers more than any other political party. Started by Abhijeet Dipke, a 30 year old political communication strategist, born in India and educated and resident in Boston, USA, it was in response to the Chief Justice bemoaning “parasites” and “cockroaches” about the lazy and unemployed. The party’s website focuses on youth concerns such as unemployment, examination paper leaks and education.

  Many of India’s gen Zs and millennials have become increasingly frustrated about a job market that has been failing them, with almost 40% of India’s graduates below 25 unemployed. With 367 million people aged between 16 and 29, India has the largest youth population in the world.

 Demonstrators were out on the streets of Delhi this weekend voicing their anger against Narendra Modi’s well-established, right- wing government.

 Abhijeet Dipke, born September 29, 1995 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, says it was too early to say whether CJP will become a political party and he has faced threats against himself and his family still in India.

 The Cockroach Janta Party, 5 May 2026, took off with Uranus just into Gemini trine Pluto and sextile Neptune Saturn in Aries; with Uranus square the North Node; and an opportunistic and lucky Jupiter square Mars.   Uranus trine Pluto for an upswelling of rebellion. Saturn Neptune fighting for the underdog in a push to create a fairer society.  Tr Saturn in 2027 conjunct the Mars and square the Jupiter will damp enthusiasm considerably.

 Uranus is also crossing the India chart Ascendant, 15 August 1947 12 am Delhi hinting at a variety of changes to its image and determination to walk an independent path in future. The India Neptune in the 5^th house of children is being opposed this year by tr Saturn for high uncertainty; and tr Pluto moving through the higher-education 9^th is moving towards an opposition to the 3^rd house Mercury in 2027/28 hinting the bitter disagreements will not die down quickly.

  Protests movements like this have a habit of fading over time or being ruthlessly suppressed. And no one at this point expects Modi’s government to fall. But his initial government chart, 26 May 2014 6.13pm Delhi, does have a 5 degree Gemini Sun in its 7^th which is catching the jolting-change tr Uranus conjunction from this August on and off into 2027. And continuing the uncertainty and turbulence in 2027/28 tr Uranus will square the 4^th house Neptune into early 2028, with tr Saturn conjunct the 5^th house Uranus. Part of this may be the shifting sands in global diplomatic relations. But the 4^th house Neptune does suggest internal discontentment as well.

Abhijeet Dipke is a late Sun in Virgo in a Half Grand Sextile with his Sun in opposition to Saturn, trine Uranus Neptune in Capricorn and sextile Pluto in Scorpio – very much of his generation with a prominent Uranus Neptune. He certainly hit the mood of the zeitgeist when he sent out a spur-of-the-moment social media post as his Solar Arc Mars was conjunct his Jupiter in enthusiastic Sagittarius and his Solar Arc Sun was conjunct his keen-on-fairness North Node in Libra; with his Solar Arc North Node will be conjunct his Pluto next year, providing another moment of destiny for him. Tr Uranus is also opposition his Jupiter/Pluto midpoint this year for a determined push against authorities.  Given that he has an ultra-determined Mars in Scorpio, he is unlikely to lose interest and back off but will run into insuperable obstacles in 2028/29 when tr Pluto squares his Mars.  

Actor Anthony Head much loved and respected by his peers and public alike for his performances in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin and Ted Lasso as well as the Nescafe Gold Blend commercials which first brought him fame, has died of pneumonia only a few months after his long-time partner.

  He was born 20 February 1954 in London and started his dramatic career in musical theatre before the coffee advert opened the doors to major roles in several television series.

 He was a charming Sun Venus in Pisces square Mars in lively Sagittarius; with his Sun trine a hard-working, conscientious Saturn in Scorpio as well as Neptune in late Libra and opposition Pluto. His Neptune was in an inventive square to Uranus; and his Pluto was widely sextile Jupiter. His Moon was Virgo/Libra. He also had a creative Water Grand Trine of Mercury in Pisces trine Uranus and trine Saturn, giving him a mellifluous tone for voice-over roles.

 When the Gold Blend adverts started in 1987 which have him his lucky break his Solar Arc Jupiter was conjunct his Uranus; and tr Jupiter was forming a yod inconjunct Neptune sextile Pluto. And his Solar Arc Uranus was conjunct his Pluto – luck and a helpful nudge.

 He died when tr Jupiter was square his Neptune.

  What is interesting is that his creative Harmonics – 5H, 7H and the actors’ 15H – all have strong Mars Pluto aspects which are not readily visible from his natal chart. Underneath his gentle image there was a do-or-die determined streak.

Jill Biden’s memoir has not been greeted with rapture with criticisms of rewriting history and dodging accountability for the 2024 loss. One reviewer went so far as to say :“ For a quick buck and a reputational overhaul she’s selling out her husband by dishing the most intimate, undignified details of his private health struggles.”

 Born 3 June 1951 8.58pm Hammonton, New Jersey, she married Joe, then a widower with two children, in 1977, having divorced her first husband who was subsequently charged with murdering his next wife; and moved through teaching to became a professor of English.

  She has a hard-working and argumentative Sun, Mars, Moon conjunction in Gemini in her 6^th house; with a serious Saturn in her well-educated, knowledgeable 9^th trine Mercury in her 5^th house of children and entertainment. Her Cardinal T square of Jupiter in upfront Aries in her communication 3^rd house opposition a creative/helpful/evasive Neptune in her 10^th square Uranus in her 7^th would give her initiative and a desire to push back boundaries. She also has an intense and secretive Venus in Cancer in her 8^th along with Pluto there which hints at a tendency to pull strings behind the scenes.

 Her Uranus in her 7^th and indeed her Mars sitting on her Sun/Moon midpoint would not suggest an easy run where close relationships were concerned. And with Joe Biden also having Uranus as well as Saturn in his 7^th, it was probably as well that both had busy independent career lives that kept them apart a fair amount of the time.

 Her Saturn falling in his 10^th would give her the urge to organise him on a practical level; with her emotionally intense Venus conjunct his Jupiter and trine his Scorpio stellium for good feelings, and her Jupiter in his domestic 4^th for ditto. They made it work despite being polar opposite in temperament – he being a multi-Scorpio with a Taurus Moon and she a New Moon in Gemini.

  Their relationship chart has a strongly aspected Jupiter which is a blessing for smoothing out tensions – it squares the composite Sun, is sextile Saturn and trine Neptune. The composite Moon is more troublesome being square the composite Pluto/Mars midpoint and square both individually.

  At the moment she’s heading into a turbulent few years with tr Uranus conjunct her Moon from this August onwards into 2027 followed by tr Uranus conjunct her Mars and then Sun through until the turn of the decade. Her Solar Arc Saturn which was in a downbeat opposition to her Moon over the 2024 election is moving to a jolting-shock opposition to her Mars by 2028 and three years later opposition her Sun.  Tr Neptune will also make a disappointing conjunction to her Jupiter and square her Uranus in 2028/29. Tr Saturn is doing similar this year for a confidence denting phase.

 While her reputation is not doing well, Hunter has been causing a stir on Substack and in podcasts. “So let me get this straight,” he wrote on Twitter/X. “Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom. Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land. Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan. Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted. Please.”

Born 4 February 1970 1.46pm Wilmington, Delaware, he has a Sun Venus in Aquarius in his communication and far-travelled 9^th; and a Moon in Capricorn on the cusp of his 8^th house. An ambitious 10^th house Mars in Aries is in an excitable opposition to Uranus; an up-and-down Saturn opposition Jupiter in Scorpio in his sociable 5^th house; with a disruptive Pluto Uranus in his 4^th of family and domestic life.

 He’ll be on a confident roll this year and next with tr Pluto square his Jupiter. But in general he is in a restrictive phase financially and otherwise for years ahead with tr Pluto moving through his financial 8^th. Plus his Solar Arc Saturn will conjunct his Ascendant by 2028 which will be discouraging for his image; and in 2029/30 like Jill he will be sinking under Neptunian hard aspects, in his case to his Mars and Uranus. With a few setbacks or even accidents this year from tr Saturn conjunct his Mars and opposition Uranus.

Carmine Gotti Agnello grandson of the Gambino crime family boss John Gotti has been arrested on an allegation of domestic assault, weeks before His 15-Month COVID Fraud Sentence Begins. He was convicted after pleading guilty to wire fraud involving the theft of $1.1 million from the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program and forging pandemic relief loan forms.

  Born 8 April 1986, he has a go ahead Sun and Moon in Aries,  with a ‘talented’ Half Grand Sextile from a charming, acquisitive and manipulative Venus in Taurus opposition Pluto sextile/trine Jupiter in Pisces and Mars Neptune in Capricorn. Confident, likes a glamourous life. Although his Uranus is conjunct his Mars/Saturn which can be destructive is also conjunct his Saturn/Neptune point which is irritable and excitable, he is a pale version of the mob bosses that went before.

 His grandfather John Gotti who died in prison, 27 October 1940 in New York, was an intensely determined and controlling Sun Scorpio opposition Jupiter Saturn in Taurus square Pluto.

Carmine’s father is John Angelo Gotti, February 14, 1964, former mobster who became the acting boss of the Gambino crime family from 1992 to 1999 after his father was sent to prison. He was imprisoned for racketeering in 1999, but later fought off four racketeering trials, each ending in a mistrial and by 2010 was no longer being sought for those charges. He was born three days after Sarah Palin and had a formidable Mars Saturn Sun conjunction in Aquarius. With a yod of Neptune sextile Pluto (Uranus) in Virgo inconjunct a super-confident Jupiter.

  Both grandmother Victoria DiGiorgio and Victoria Gotti were both Sun Sagittarius with nothing pass remarkable about their charts (without birth times) though their midpoints did hint at criminal and dangerous associations.

 Further back Carlo Gambino, 24 August 1902, had a cruel Mars in Cancer opposition Saturn in Capricorn; with a wayward Uranus opposition Pluto.

Al Capone, 17 January 1899 9.30 am New York, had a Capricorn Sun opposition Mars in Cancer, a suspicious Saturn opposition Neptune and an authority-challenging Uranus opposition Pluto.

  But the most scary was Vito Genovese, 21 November 1897 5.30 am Naples, Italy, leader of another New York crime family. He had a fearsome Sun, Mars, Uranus exact conjunction in Scorpio in his 1^st house which was also conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius; with the megalomaniac Neptune Pluto in Gemini lurking out of sight in his 8^th. Lucky Luciano, born 3 days later had the Sun, Saturn, Mars conjunct in Sagittarius with Uranus close by, almost but not quite as horrific.

 For the Gotti family, it would need birth times and houses to really track the family relationships.  

  The traditional criminal signatures is Mars Pluto; and for assassins Mars Saturn.
