Thanks to everybody below who took the time to write of their transit Saturn experiences. Makes for interesting reading and while I won’t comment/analyse each of them, I think it may expect us to solidify our identity and who we are. Parental loss can be a part of that; taking away the people who we might otherwise lean on to make our decisions.
Reply to Gnarly Dude – the usual reply function isn’t working for some reason! Saturn conjunct Sun brought the deaths of both my parents. Saturn opposing Sun brought the death of a true soulmate. Saturn, natally, is in the fourth house. I looked at when I tore my meniscus in my knee (Saturn), and had surgery (like Virgoflake) but that turns out to have been a Mars-Uranus opposition to the Sun.
I see commentary that Angela Rayner may be considering a leadership challenge to Starmer once the local elections are done.
Noting she currently has transiting Saturn going over her unaspected Aries Sun.
I’m not so interested in the political outcomes but what are your general thoughts/experiences about when people have transit Saturn conjunct natal Sun? Also any particular thoughts about how it plays out for women (as Saturn/Sun are both tranditionally male/father symbols) and in a sign like Aries (again masculine)
Only instance was when I was 14. That was a period where I was breaking free. Getting wild. And then the next year I have new friends, new taste. And this new friends group theme keep repeating itself. I suspect Pluto in the mix. Saturn transit are not that bad for me. You give up something. But not devastating.
The restriction part comes from the mother saying “No” to hanging out with friends in town. And I learnt to play my parents. Knowing the mother would said no, I called my father who would say yes. Then I got a pager to control my whereabouts.
Sun in Libra. First time around, the year I turned 20 and the year my depression kicked in badly, so I went for help. It was a heavy burden and I also began to lose weight and became very thin and underweight. I was at college and it was a struggle.
Second time – I tore my cartilage in my knee and had an operation. Both transits felt like a heavy weight, typically Saturnian. It was also the beginning of the end of a toxic friendship where I was forced to accept that the other person was false, which was very disappointing and painful.
I would imagine in Rayner’s case it could translate as the weight of responsibility of that position. Iirc, Cameron had a Saturn transit to his Libra Ascendant prior to and during the first year of his Prime Ministership in 2010. It’s not always a loss as such, but the heavy weight of responsibility and leadership.

I’m doing well, thank you Daraja. I’m walking about without crutches just 2 weeks after the surgery. I had a robot arm working on my replacement – just before Uranus popped into Gemini! So things are looking pretty positive. Can’t fault the NHS.
I lost a beloved stepfather on the second conjunction of Saturn to my Sun, on the first I was sent to school a year early. My Sun is 12th house Libra. Oppositions for me have also been father/loss related. I have Saturn ruling my 4th house though so I feel it tracks to that as well as the planetary/house significations.
@Gnarly Dude, the first time I lost my mother. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 1980 around what must have been Saturn hitting her late-Virgo Moon (unfortunately, I wasn’t enough in to astrology when my grandmother could have given clarity, so I don’t have her TOB, and we don’t have other documents either). And she died when Saturn was at 2′ orbit from my Sun. I think my dad and I we were in middle of moving to his parents when the conjunction was exact.
Needless to say, I was scared when the second conjunction was about to hit in 2010. I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and a possible precancerous lesions in 2009 (Saturn 12th house). But ultimately, this was such a nothing burger! I was planning my wedding and working hard in a job that brought me truly significant friendships and personal crowth.
Saturn has passed over my Sun twice in my life. Neither of which I’d ever want to make a regular occurrence, especially the last in early 2020 among the Capricorn pile-up after the Saturn Pluto conjunction (literal hell). I think have a Moon-Uranus conjunction natally square my Sun has a considerable bearing here, though. I feel my anxiety levels raise as the Moon passes that point every month.
A couple of hours ago, SCOTUS rendered Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act into a dead letter, and I suspect that the southern states will race to redistrict their electoral districts.
Is this Uranus’s last gasp in Taurus, just as Trump’s reflection was the last gasp of Pluto in Capricorn?
Your predictions concerning Chief Justice Robert’s seem to be right on target. Between the leeks exposing the use of Shadow Dockets and now his wife receiving $20 million in fees over a decade-plus from law firms bringing cases in front of him at the court – and him not reporting the funds on his disclosures for years. Things might indeed hit the rails for him soon. Another felon, so sad for us all.

Would you mind taking a look at Mali? Yesterday (Sundayz April 26, 2026), the Tuareg separtist group, Azawad Liberation Front was able to take control of Kidal and Gao and the JINM attacked Bamako’s international airport.
Also, Azawad and JINM killed Mali’s Defence Minister, Sadio Camara (who was the architect for pushing ties between Mali and Russia) in car bomb attack.
Lastly, the Russian mercenaries (Africa Corps) have reportedly fled Northern Mali as a result of the takeover thus leaving the Malian military to fend for themselves (many Malians are reportedly feeling betrayed).
Anyway, astrologically speaking, how do things look for Mali in the upcoming weeks, months, and years? Apparently the location, Washington Hilton, is the same location where John Hinckley Jr tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan on March 30th 1981 – which had just seen Uranus retrograde a few days earlier back into Scorpio and was at about 29Sco50
Social media is flooded with comments that this event was staged and, “perhaps”, reinforced with Trump’s comments that his planned high-security White House Ballroom would prevent such occurrences happening. Uranus, the planet of sudden change and unexpected events enters Gemini and still is in aspect to his Mars and his Ascendant.
Have to say I’m tired of how every major event coming out of America is labelled a conspiracy theory, staged or someone playing 4D chess. Part of the polarisation of current times and people looking to find a way to make sense of events that confirms their own biases. Social media amplifies it with its echo chambers. Think this is part of what Marjorie was saying in the podcast excerpt in the other thread.
I guess it’s a negative expression of Pluto – rather than looking inwards to find what one is feeling; they look out and create a shadow force to blame. For America, with Pluto having transited opposite the U.S. Mercury in Cancer it’s certainly highlighted the suspicious, ungrounded thinking.

The shooter was literally in another floor of a huge building, and there were several security check between him and the ballroom according to a long time White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs. Apparently, the shots were not even heard in most of the ballroom.
So not a “close call” by any means for anyone in that room.
I wasn’t aware the suspect was encounted and apprehended on another floor Solaia, but looking at the diagram in the Washington Post today, he was arrested at the top of a direct staircase to the ballroom so I’d say close enough.
Either way, a lapse in security given the proximity to the President and purported weapons he brought into the hotel where he was staying.

Interestingly, looking at the comments on articles in the Washington Post and New York Times, almost every commenter said the same thing, that it was staged. More and more people, including many prominent MAGAts are saying the Butler, PA shooting, which galvanized Trump’s campaign, was also staged.
I think this reaction is prompted not so much by conspiracy theories but by extreme distrust of Trump and his administration and a growing belief that they will do absolutely anything, no matter how low or extreme, to hold onto and expand their power. And Trump’s comment during the later press conference that the shooting demonstrated the need for his ugly awful ballroom only added fuel to that belief.
Completely agree the “staged” thinking reflects on the duplicitous habits of one Donald J Trump more than anything else.
Heavy to think our country is reflexively doubting news overall, and not just him. One day he’ll be gone, and the rebuild of trust will fall upon US.

baselessly attacks an entire religion by smearing them with vile sexual criminal conduct.
I think that she is using her hate speech to deal with her own possible illicit sexual secrecy.
Just my own suspicions. There is something odd with her. She is not normal, nor exceptional. She is mentally unwell.
Last summer I read the king of kings about the shahs rise and fall. I’m curious- and maybe you have done the astrology already but what did the astrology look like leading up to the fall and the take over with the ayatollah Khomeini- he was in France and he was putting out these tapes that the CIA ignored so his extremism was there to see if you were willing to look, but it also doesn’t seem like the Iranian people were looking for someone like Khomeini – in the states it feels like there is a sizable portion of the population even if it’s not a majority that really were looking for trump. So I’m just curious about the astrology of the world at the time and Iran to understand what brought in Khomeini. Thanks
