  1. Any chance of a look at The Police? As in Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland who are just in the middle of suing each other. I know from previous look that Sting has a unique chart with Libra Sun-Saturn and Moon-Neptune in but perhaps not that close as to be a single conjunction.

    • Well I know that when they started out that the music executives gave all the copyrights to Sting, while ignoring the contributions that the others made. Specifically Stewart Copeland as composed the music. Or most of it anyway. And it was made worse by Copeland’s brother who sided with Sting. And Sting as far as I know has never backed down. I understand that Copeland has made a success composing for others.

  2. I’m wondering about how long the effects of eclipses might last, although probably it isn’t an exact science. In view of current speculation and stories on the so-called ‘Epstein Files’,Marjorie’s post about Peter Mandleson from 3 February 2022 is interesting. She notes:

“Mandelson’s Mars in Virgo is conjunct Prince Andrew’s North Node, which would make it a facilitating relationship for work.”

The Lunar Eclipse of March 2025 was 23 Virgo. Mandleson’s Mars is 23 Virgo, Prince Andrew’s NN 24 Virgo. The eclipse opposed Saturn in Pisces. The Sun in Virgo will soon cross that degree, as will Mercury. Perhaps the devil is in the Virgo details in this endless saga?

    • Thanks Jane. I will look at Mandelson tomorrow. He does have tr Uranus moving to hard aspect his Jupiter/Saturn midpoint in December and again spring 2026 which sometimes coincides with a career loss.

  3. Harry’s has just announced he has given 1 million to BBC Children in Need. When Harry returns home could you please look at the dynamics between the King, William and Harry for the future? Sadly it looks like the Sussexes are attempting to break protocol and attach themselves by money to certain charities – dividing an already fractious Britain.

  4. Hi, Marjorie!

Can you explain your deletion policy? I have been looking for months at posts and comments, and sometimes I’ll remember how many comments there were the last time I checked – only to find the number lowered next time I come. What is going on? Are you deleting comments or has someone hacked your website? The deleted comments seem inoffensice and, in fact, contributory to discussion.

    • Not sure there is a cut and dried policy. Ranters and ravers and personally offensive comments go. What some times happens if the first in a strand is deleted for those reasons, the ones below it disappear as well.
It is difficult since everyone has opinions but I do try once in a while to cut back on random comments sprayed around which add little to the debate or to the sum total of understanding. It is an astrology site not a chat site to fill in time when people get bored.

    • This is the oldest hoariest piece of nonsense. Astrology has zero to do with the Precession of the Equinoxes. There are 88 constellations in the heavens of varying dimensions and distance from the earth – there is no way of knowing where they start and finish and would be no use for calculations. The fact that astrology uses the names of 12 of the constellations which are in a rough celestial circle is neither here nor there.

  5. True Crime news: Tom Phillips, who abducted his three children amid a custody battle in 2021 and has evaded the justice since, was shot dead in a fight with police officers 02:30 am local time Monday, September 8th in Piopio, New Zealand. One of the children was with him, and lead authorities to the camp site where his siblings were found alive. I think this came right before the Lunar Eclipse visible at Moonset in NZ, and it would be interesting to know if or how this reflected on

This is also eerie, because I have been active in discussions on our own abduction case with parents taking their 7 children from the foster care ongoing since May 2024, but made public only in 2025 and suggested the police does know more about the whereabouts of the family than made public, but doesn’t want to jeopardize the children – the eight one just a baby/toddler born while on the run.

(Personal astrology note: I think my interest in recovering lost children and trafficking victims comes from my 12th house Virgo Ceres that tightly squares my Jupiter/MC and and sextiles NN/Venus/Uranus. I might have missed one of my callings here, becoming an investigator in the field, seems like the police has leads on some theories I’ve put forward.)

  6. This is not a request for an astrological prediction or analysis, but a question about the future of astrology itself in the age of predictive AI.

A lot of studying astrology, at least for amateurs like me, is looking at repetitive events and tying it to the ocation of planets in the zodiac. My brother thinks so too, suggesting that the basis of astrology is more as a giant clock of repetitive events than than something to do with energies or planets influencing human behaviour.

Thus, to gauge how Pluto in Aquarius would work out, we ( or at least I) look at the events that happened at that time in the past and try to guess how it would affect our lives now.

Artificial Intelligence, at least as it is now, does exactly that. It looks at patterns in the data it is fed and completes it across multiple occurrences. It is essentially a very large auto-complete function (and not truly intelligent in a human sense. It does not look at the logic of *why* something has occurred, just the pattern of repetition).

So my questions are, how soon will we start seeing purely AI generated astrology? What is the human element in astrology? Do we provide anything that a well-trained AI astrology bot can’t and if yes, what is it?

I invote everybody to contribute to this thread. It will be very interesting to get a range of views on this topic.

    • AI had long been present in astrology – e.g. Astrodienst many decades ago programmed those ready-made reports by using it. Just imagine how pioneering that was in a way. It will probably very soon be everywhere, not only by generating reports and giving insights much better than many astrologers, but will also be used to test hypotheses.

    • I don’t think anyone imagines the planets have an actual effect on human behaviour. It is more that the planets dance to the same rhythm as whatever does. Syncronicity is what Jung dubbed it but it does not go much further in explaining what is actually at work.
It is certainly true that astrology is well suited to the computer era since it speeds calculations up enormously – and indeed makes some calculations possible that were not before. Whether AI will eventually have the wit to synthesise and prioritise out of the mass of information gained is questionable. Reviewing against past experience helps but is not conclusive since there are always different planets having an influence which were not there before. You can’t step into the same river twice.

      • Totally agreed, Marjorie. The “actual” planets are no more predictors of human action than a turtle swimming in the sea. The synchronicity is the idea that some cosmic principle we are eons away from understanding (probably never) is spinning the cycle of life for all of us creatures at the same time, on earth and possibly in other realms we do not perceive. Any good Bhuddist can provide a theory or philosophy (or pick another faith or religion – they all do it when they contemplate the universe). And the thought behind astrology is far more than mathematical calculations and cook book personality analysis. For me, every planetary combination has to be synthesized from first principles (not saying I do it well!) to become a picture of the situation at hand, which is then communicated and verified by interaction with the person or audience to whom it is relevant. Ideally, it’s an entire process, not a one way street, though there are practical limitations as to understanding on both sides of the discussion. It’s an exploration based on a different way of viewing the world, a very long term perspective that includes some intuition as well as recognized patterns of interpretations. All that is to say there are no ‘final’ answers, and there is some element of choice as well as chance. Life is a mystery and so is the analysis thereof, whatever way it is done, by historians or financial analysts or even astrologers. Practise makes you better at everything and often the early learning is off base, but you have to start somewhere! It’s always interesting, sometimes fun, and sometimes downright scary.

        • As for AI, it is its own, non-human thing. For sure, AI is NOT human, and AI life is not HUMAN life. It may have its own validity, in its own way, even its own LIFE, but whether it does any good in the long run is a big unknown. It certainly looks to be screwing up human actions and feelings and perceptions in the short term. It has just begun to confuse humanity as to what is true for people versus what is true for machines and algorithms, creating unfamiliar, unnerving mixtures thereof.

Maybe AI will become a true benefit, maybe it won’t. It obviously can do amazing things already, but we already know AI isn’t you or me as nature made us. By creating a non-natural reality via AI, we humans are entering a hybrid existence and we could our natural world, as well as our selves and our souls in the process. Maybe that is being too harsh, but personally and individually none of us living today will be around long enough to find out for sure. We will die wondering, if we even care that much.

How astrology fits into all that is beyond my little brain to contemplate. I doubt the stars will tell us much about AI since the stars are part of the system of nature, though I suppose you can extend nature to include AI too. We don’t know what will happen, definitely not as a clear picture of the future. Probably astrology doesn’t know either, though hstrology may develop new perceptions and realities too as the AI experience advances. It is a whole new, non-human threshold.

Even without thinking of nuclear holocausts, AI could wind up being just a huge ugly pile of metal and plastic junk. Or it might herald a beautiful friendship, as per the final words of the classic movie, Casablanca, where opposite sides join for mutual survival). Maybe people will find other modes of living in harmony on this planet that include AI (or maybe on additional planets). We hope. Anyway, if humanity manages to survive 500 years longer, we might have a solid understanding of what AI has done by then, and maybe understand astrology too.

  7. Hi Marjorie, could you have a look at the chart of the new leader of the Green Party, Zack Polanski? He’s been impressive so far. Thanks

  8. Marjorie,

In July 2023 you wrote about Carlos Alcaraz.

I haven’t managed to find a post on Jannik Sinner, so if you feel inspired, I’d be interested to read his astroprofile.

  9. Graham Linehan is currently making news on both sides of the Atlantic. Your previous observations indicate he may be due for a bit of a lift.

  10. While we’re on the subject of nostalgia. Laura Ashley was born 100 years ago too. Only a few days later than Peter Sellars but a completely different kind of life. I remember saving up to buy an apron at that South Kesington shop of hers. It cost the huge sum of £5 at the time but I still have it! She really tapped into the flower power zeitgeist of the ‘70s and as a young adult, I loved the maxi skirts and retro floral blouses. No off-the-
    peg Armani ever fitted me.

  11. Hi Marjorie, could you please check Japanese prince Hisahito? He was born at 08:27 JST (23:27 UTC) on 6 September 2006 at Aiiku Hospital, Tokyo. On 6th of September there has been a coming of age ceremony for him.

  12. With the upcoming full moon lunar eclipse on Sunday, does the conjunction to the transiting North Node suggest anything meaningful to you?

  13. The subject of Trump has been discussed and agonized over for so long, and I am loathe to discuss him again. However, many cases involving his administration (particularly tariffs) is headed to the Supreme Court. I am curious as to the connection between Trump and the Supreme Court. Trump seems confident that the Supreme Court will give him anything he wants. Technically, this is true, but Trump keeps towing the line, and the more power they grant Trump now, the more likely that same power will be used against them when a Democrat gets elected. So will there come a point where the Supreme Court will refuse what Trump wants? If so, will he ignore their order and start (another) Constitutional crisis just to keep the public from talking about Epstein?
By the way, even a few Republicans in my area are starting to think Trump is on Epstein’s list of participants (which seems rather obvious to me, given that Epstein died when he was in jail during Trump’s term and how well he is treating Maxwell lately). It’s an improvement, at least.

    • The current SCOTUS will most definitely give Trump what he wants on tariffs even thought tariffs fall under the purvey of Congress unless there are extenuating circumstances which don’t currently exist.

As for Trump being on the Epstein list his own words and reactions confirm that he is on the list.
There was a guy who alleged works for the DOJ and was caught on camera by his girlfriend stating that the Epstein list is being scrubbed of Republicans and will only contain names of Democrats and liberals.

After all of the sex scandals that Trump has survived he must have done some really sick stuff to be so worried about what details may be on that list.

  14. After visiting Italy , I wonder about this country . Not sure about specific question .. so much tradition ,science (in the past at least) , sense of beauty and design . Socially , for good and bad felt like old fashion too .

  15. Hi Marjorie,

Would you mind taking a look at what’s going on between the United States and Venezuela?

The other day, Trump ordered the bombing of a Venezuelan boat that he claimed was part of a drug cartel and all 11 people on board were killed.

Marco Rubio warned that this was only the beginning and more military actions will be taken again Venezuela in the weeks to come.

Nicolas Maduro is urging Venezuelan citizens to form a civilian militia to defend the country if necessary. Venezuela also sent jets into U.S. waters (or something of that nature) in retaliation.

Anyway, astrologically speaking, are there signs that a war between the U.S. and Venezuela is brewing? How does Nicolas Maduro and his regime after to be holding up over the next few months?

I would really be interested in reading Marjorie’s thoughts on all of this….as well as the thoughts from other experienced astrologers on this forum.

Solaia, Clarence, Unmystic Mom, SweetGrapes, or Tshele….do any of you have insights to share about this?

    • Hello Chris: well, you asked. Looks like I’m the only one up for a reply to your US vs. Venezuela question, though I apologize for knowing essentially nothing about Venezuela. I am not familiar with V’s history or politics other than a superficial impression that it has a fascinating and difficult history of exploitation, and it is a hot spot for drugs, immigration issues and oil reserves.

The current situation may come down to a comment I read recently in the New York Times on Venezuela: “What he (Trump) needs is a good shootin’ war.” On the surface of it, from the US politics point of view, Venezuela is a candidate for distraction from Trump’s more obvious problems, like Epstein. Not to say that shooting at foreign boats in international waters isn’t always news. However, the reality may be more about the oil reserves than the drug problem. Both oil and drugs are ruled by Neptune, which is in V’s 11th house of politics generally (assemblies, the rulers’s supporters and associates) and Neptune rules Pisces on the country’s ascendant. So, take your pick, oil and drugs are both essential to understanding current events.

Venezuela has lots of problems to talk about as its progressed Mars at 12 Gemini is presently closing in on an exact trine to progressed Uranus at 13 Aquarius. Which may be a potential trigger for upheaval, but it is a progression, which takes a long time to work through and there are no exact transits to that aspect at the moment. So, imo, it remains a potential.

There is pressure on the Venezuela natal Sun (leadership) at 29 Virgo (Sep. 22, 1830, Caracas) as transiting Saturn Rx (restrictions, delays) at 29 Pisces (a sign of difficulties in making decisions) is opposing it. The transiting Saturn is accompanied by transiting Neptune at 1 Aries, t. Pluto at 1 Aquarius and transiting Uranus at 1 Gemini. It’s a triple whammy at 1 degrees. The the structure (Saturn) and belief system (Neptune) are being pushed back and forth between Pluto on the one side and Uranus on the other. Those transits being retrograde, they are not finished their business yet.

Venezuela’s progressed Nodes are presently at 29 Leo (N) and 29 Aquarius (S). Trump’s natal ascendant is 29 Leo. That alone is enough to picture some kind of interaction might happen, and with all those 1 degree transits adjacent to the 29 degree Nodes, the pressure is likely to be notable. But, even channelled via Mr. T., it doesn’t mean broader hostilities will erupt. The transits will eventually move on and V’s natal Venus in practical Virgo in the 7th of partners may have a say in the final outcome when Saturn moves into Aries and trines V’s natal Moon at 2 Sag.

Meanwhile, V’s natal Moon at 2 Sag. is being pressured by those three 1 degree applying transits, all at once. The Moon is in the 9th house, which indicates foreign influences are pretty important in the fortunes of the people (Moon). The Moon rules the natal 5th house of speculation in Cancer, indicating an affinity (vulnerability?) to speculative and liquid resource based factors. Neptune rules oil, and Neptune’s sign, Pisces (another water sign) is on the country’s ascendant. And V’s natal Neptune at 20 Capricorn Rx is presently being squared by transiting Mars at 20 Libra (the sign of negotiations between opposing factions, or partners). Not easy. Could go either way. Just my impression!

  16. Hi Marjorie

Could you do an in depth look at the chart for Reform UK? IIRC their chart has a Mutable T square with an apex Mars in Pisces. Uranus is energising that configuration over the next few years so I wonder how that might show.

If Rayner has better transits for the end of this decade then resigning now is probably the better option for her career wise – rebuild for a comeback in the future.

I can’t recall any Home Secretary having decent transits in power – the job is thankless and brutalised people though so that would make sense.
