“The lunatics have taken over the asylum” – said of a situation in which those in charge are incapable of handling their responsibilities, and should rather be put under scrutiny themselves.

 Robert F Kennedy Jnr, an anti-vaccine crank put in charge of US health has fired the respected head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and chosen a former speechwriter and top aide with no training in medicine or infectious disease science as a replacement. The firing prompted at least three senior CDC officials to quit. One shared a scathing resignation letter online in which he explained he was “unable to serve in an environment that treats CDC as a tool to generate policies and materials that do not reflect scientific reality and are designed to hurt rather than to improve the public’s health.”

 The WP writes: ‘The episode underscores that Kennedy is operating with essentially no meaningful constraints.’

  The Kennedy family were alarmed by RFK Jnr’s support of Trump called it an affront to the memory of their father, Robert F Kennedy.  Caroline Kennedy, a former U.S. ambassador to Australia and daughter of JFK wrote that RFK Jr. was unqualified to lead HHS, which oversees 13 federal agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Her letter to the Senate before his confirmation said that “siblings and cousins who Bobby encouraged down the path of substance abuse suffered addiction, illness and death.” She accused her cousin of lacking any relevant experience for the role and said he holds “dangerous and wilfully misinformed” views on vaccines. “Bobby is addicted to attention and power. Bobby preys on the desperation of parents of sick children — vaccinating his own kids while building a following by hypocritically discouraging other parents from vaccinating theirs.”

 The CDC, 1 July 1946, with a Cancer Sun sextile Mars in Virgo and square Neptune Jupiter is well-designed as a caring entity. But the Solar Arc Pluto square the Saturn in Cancer since the Inauguration has put an immense blockage in its path. That will pass but there will be sinking moments in 2026 with tr Saturn Neptune square the Neptune followed by high insecurity with tr Uranus square the Mars in 2026. Worse by late 2026 into 2027 the Solar Arc Uranus conjunct the Mars does suggest a major emergency.

 What is striking about RFK Jnr’s chart, 17 January 1954 5.32pm (unconfirmed) Washington, DC is his Capricorn Sun Mercury Venus North Node opposing Uranus and square Neptune. Another instance of Uranus not being exactly progressive. More significantly the focal point Neptune in square hints at an inability to face reality and a flagrant refusal to back down even in the face of incontrovertible evidence (Uranus Neptune) – and a tendency to live in fantasyland.  He also has a wide yod of a super-confident Jupiter sextile Pluto inconjunct his North Node Venus Sun in Capricorn.

  He does have his Solar Arc Saturn opposition his Uranus down causing considerable tension at the moment – with a degree of paranoia running rampant as tr Pluto squares his Neptune/Saturn midpoint this year and next and Solar Arc Pluto moving onto a road-block conjunction to his Saturn in Scorpio in 2027, followed by a discouraging tr Pluto square his Saturn in 2028/29. He will grind to a halt eventually – with alarm-bells flashing in his relationship with Trump in 2026 and worse in 2027 as tr Neptune Saturn square the composite Uranus and then oppose the composite Mars. But there’s no saying the damage that will be done along the way.

 As to the question of when the madness will end? On the USA 1776 chart the Solar Arc Sun square SA Saturn is grinding its way across the USA Mars square Neptune. There will be continuing uncertainty with anger erupting after a collision-type event with SA Sun square the USA Mars in early 2026 but the undermining mood won’t disappear until the Solar Arc Sun clears the opposition to Neptune after mid 2027.

 The 2025 Inauguration chart which has a focal point and stressed Moon in the 6th house of health, employment and government workers which squares a Mars opposition Mercury has just passed the Progressed Moon square Mars recently and is aiming for the Progressed Moon square the Pluto by March 2026 which may be peak-jeopardy/stress level with public anger breaking out (Moon Mars). The Inauguration Neptune is also closing the conjunction to the Pisces North Node and Scheat by August 2026 which may be another staging post as Trump plans sink deeper in a swamp.

 Later in 2027 the Solar Arc Uranus (on the Ascendant) will conjunct the Inauguration Algol for what may be a decisive moment.

  There is a different side to Uranus – when it appears on the Ascendant of this wrecking-ball Inauguration and indeed in Prince Andrew’s 1st house – and there is zero humanitarian or progressive about him, for sure.

A baby whose mother was not vaccinated against whooping cough while pregnant has died after contracting the infection, the UK Health Security Agency has said. Thirty-three infants have died of the illness since 2013 – 27 of whom had mothers who had not received the jab in pregnancy.

None of the main childhood vaccines in England reached the uptake target of 95% last year, the uptake among pregnant women currently stands at 72.6%. Vaccination rates among children and pregnant women in the UK have fallen to their lowest levels in 15 years.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and Unicef have warned that the number of measles cases in the European region doubled to 127,350 in 2024 – the highest level in 25 years.

As at 4 July, there were nearly 1,300 confirmed measles cases in the US – a 33-year high. More than nine in 10 of those affected (92%) were either unvaccinated or did not know their vaccination status.

The outbreak in the US follows a sharp rise in anti-vaccine sentiment.

The current Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr previously spread misinformation about childhood vaccinations and had minimised the danger of measles. He also promoted unproven treatments like cod liver oil. As cases have grown, he has backtracked on the MMR vaccine, writing in a post on X that it was “the most effective way to prevent the spread of measles”.

Public health experts have warned that the US will lose measles elimination status if the disease continues to spread at the current rate for more than 12 months.

    • Mary, I have listened to Dr. Campbell. Since Covid began. My son-in-law died from Covid. He was 34. My daughter is a widow and my grandson – who was 2 1/2 when his father died – is fatherless.

      Dr. Campbell is an interest ‘authority’, but useless as far as my family is concerned.

  3. The main problem with RFK Jnr is that he is running the USA Health department with his own personal opinions, not with proven scientific researches. The medicines, vaccines and drugs have been developed by scientists, medical researchers and some academics, those people spent years and years studying at Universities, they know what they are talking about. They have proven that formulas are working, and now someone like RFK Jnr just comes out of nowhere and oppose the vaccines and just say that one is not doing this and that, how does he know? Did he study or develop any vaccine himself? Really? The USA health is in trouble, it has a very wrong and worst health secretary in centuries. He is risking with millions of Americans lives, as well as the world population. We can expect more disease outbreaks as long as we have him and his President around. The President himself has serious health problems currently and he is also in denial, he says he is in “excellent health”, but his hands say otherwise, he is one professional liar. But there is hope over the coming years, at this time in 2026 RFK Jnr and Trump won’t be in power. Astrologically there is change coming in US politics from November this year into 2026, following the fall of Trump. He is in decline, we will see more real changes especially after the mid terms.

  4. RFK Jr. is a truly horrible, despicable human being, like so many others in the current regime.

    His father and uncles would all be turning in their graves. He has become the black sheep of the Kennedy family, who all came out strongly against his political campaign prior to Trump’s unseemly victory last year.

    Heaven help us if another pandemic strikes while he is running the show. A lot of incredibly stupid people voted for Trump, but a lot more besides are paying–and will pay–a high price for the unleashing these malignant narcissists and their nuttery upon the population.

    • @Clarence, I understand how you feel about RFK Jr., but I will cut him some slack because I think he was psychological damaged from his uncle and father being assassinated in less than a five year period and adding MLK Jr.’s death a little over two months before his father’s that could have made him seceptible to conspiracy theories.
      However, I do agree that things aren’t going to end well with RFK Jr. being Secretary of HHS.

      • Roderick, how much slack does he deserve when the health of millions in the US and around the world is literally in jeopardy because of the unearned authority he now wields to impose his crackpot ideas about health and science as policy?

        I’m not unsympathetic to RFK Jr. with regards to the very personal tragedies he experienced, and which have undoubtedly impacted him personally as few things can. But what he has become at this late date is ghastly and appalling, and that’s where my sympathy for him ends.

  7. Uranus on the South Node square Neptune and in opposition to the Sun is only delusional and controversial. I was born a year later. By then, the NN, although still in Capricorn, had moved away from Uranus. Chiron moved in position in late Capricorn. My Sun and Chiron both oppose a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, while Chiron is two degrees from a conjunction at Mercury at 0 Aquarius. Hopefully, that makes me more progressive and self-aware. I’m glad there will be an end to his madness, but probably not before a majoir public heatlh catastrophe in 2027 when the US Uranus return hits hard..

  8. Amid the general hysteria ,many of the so called anti vax narrative is not about traditional vaccines but specifically concern the MRNA vaccines developed for COVID. If people care to do a little research there is now abundant evidence coming out from reputable studies , about the serious and ongoing side effects of the vaccine.

    • It is true that there are long-term effects that may occur with mRNA vaccines but the data show they are rare. On the other hand, long-term effects of a viral infection are more common (eg, long Covid) while vaccines significantly mitigate those effects as shown in many studies. The benefits greatly outweigh the risks. Even non-mRNA vaccines have rare long-term risks. Again, those risks are outweighed by the benefits provided by the vaccines.

    • Mary, I had a friend who worked for an anti-vax organization in the ’90s, long before the mRNA technology was developed. This isn’t just about mRNA vaccines; they’re opposed to ALL vaccines, even smallpox. The science doesn’t matter. They want to destroy everyone’s access to ALL life-saving vaccines and turn the clock back for everyone.

      And another friend who has allergic reactions to vaccines would love to be able to take a Covid vaccine and avoid her regular bouts with the virus from exposure by unthinking friends who “just have a cold.”

      • @Nicole Sours Larson, I specifically remember the campaigns against Gardasil in the early 2000’s. This was of interest, since I lost my mother to cervical cancer, and later with all the precautions I took, had a scare of my own. So, I was elated knowing the cancer could be eradicted with the vaccine, and stunned by arguments used by people who chose not to vaccine their daughters when the vaccine became available here. The argumente used against were EXACTLY the same as with the mRNA vaccines.

        Now I hear many of the conservative States are looking at withholding the vaccine, and even RFK jr. – who I think divulged the lies the first place – suggesting it. All while there’s really promising data from the UK and Australia on the very positive effects.

        So yes, I will not be convinced that it’s only mRNA vaccines the “critics” are after. It’s a grift.

  10. I think if anyone looks at the CDC schedule for vaccines for infants to 18 year olds, one would be hard pressed to not be completely concerned and skeptical about the enormous number of injections-up to 76-prescribed.Please look this up.
    I’m sick of those who can’t look critically or deeply into the multinational pharmaceutical industries influence within government-the revolving door of pharma CEO’s and high ranking government officials moving though these agencies and then into government positions-glaring conflicts of interest.There is staggering influence of pharmaceutical funding within the WHO.It goes on and on.

  11. Covid vaccines have saved 2.5 million lives worldwide. Vaccines in general have saved 154 million lives over the past 50 years according to a 2024 study using actual science. Meanwhile RFK Jr refuses to acknowledge evidence. His abject incompetence is going to result in many deaths in the US.

    With the kindest respect, Kennedy was appointed by Trump, who once advocated injecting bleach into Covid patients. Yes, many doctors made mistakes during Covid, but I live in an area where people denied the existence of Covid as a serious disease. Many got infected. Some got better. Some got conditions that exist to this day. And some have died. None of them got the vaccine when it became available, which I find confusing since the vaccine was developed under Trump’s administration.
    I took great care not to get infected because I had a family member who was high risk. So it was never a question for me. Even if I doubted the severity of Covid, was it worth the risk to my family member’s life.
    I understand your skepticism, and I believe you feel that we give medical professional more respect than they deserve. Having said that, would you trust a chef to perform a surgery? Or a construction worker to represent you in court?
    If Kennedy doesn’t at least try to listen to these people who have made it their careers and missions to combat contagious diseases, is it any wonder we question his intent?

  13. Absolutely, Marjorie. I regard him as one of the most devilish members of that administration. As you say, Ouranos was a bad father, unable to accept his Titan children because he found them ‘ugly’, a cruel husband who pushes the infants back into the sleeping Gaia’s womb. Their earthiness threatens him too because he fears they will one day take power away from him. One of the more chilling aspects of the current era is the undermining of expertise. This will cost us dearly in the long term.
