1. Trump is getting more and more unhinged. I think the April to May stuff on the charts, if they are accurate, could be him being toppled. At some point his sanity will be questioned and I genuinely cannot see Republicans being happy at his cosying up to Putin. This is still the party of Reagan at its core.. we might be about to see a serious movement to impeach him out of office.

2. While reading some BBC articles, I noticed that Trump has begun speaking in the third person. I never encountered this before…so I looked it up.

   Comments & criticisms welcomed.

   * Frequent use of the third person can be perceived as narcissistic, pretentious, or even a sign of a mental health concern if it’s not used intentionally and in appropriate situations.

   * Some people might use the third person to project a certain image of themselves, potentially appearing more confident or authoritative.

   * Used sometimes as a way to appear more detached or even self-important.

   • Trump has done that for years. When younger he attempted to do ‘self-public relations’ with newspapers and television news. He had several pseudonyms that he used to plant information on his/trump’s activities, thoughts, plans. Very bizarre yet on brand.

3. @Amelia Pettyfor, Putin’s TOB is not reliable, which Marjorie often mentions, because certain life events seem not to fit his astrology.

   But I looked at his main “negotiator” Sergei Lavrov’s chart. It was covered here back in 2018 and again in 2022 on “Putin’s Ditto Heads” and struck me then as “oh” moment. Lavrov has a Cardinal T-square with 0′ Aries Sun, 0′ Cancer Uranus 2′ Libra Mars that’s going to be hit by Neptune.

   It’s also worth noting that most of the Putin’s current entourage are born between 1950-52, the “Ditto heads” born 1954-55 so their charts will be hit by a generational tr. Neptune and/or Saturn square Uranus. Influential Chief of Staff Nikolai Patrusev (July 11th 1951), has Mars 4′ Cancer and
   Aries Jupiter – Cancer Uranus/Sun – Libra Neptune/possibly Moon T-square hit by Saturn, which is really interesting. His son Dmitry (Oct 13th 1977) is widely viewed as the likeliest successor to Putin, and has an angular chart with Libra Pluto, Mercury, NN, Sun and likely Moon from 13′ onward, square 23′ Cancer Mars (Jupiter is earlier in the sign). So this could become interesting…

4. What’s very interesting is that Trump & his entire inner team all seem in complete distress from April onwards. As does Putin from May. I wonder if its all linked? the fact all their charts show the same thing suggests something very big is about to happen.

   • But not Vance, correct? My understanding is that his chart looks positive this spring. Also, Putin seems fine until 2026-if I remember correctly. In light of astrologer, M. Lutin’s, prediction that Trump lasts for two years and Marjorie having written that Usha and JD have a complete turnaround in 2027, would it be possible to look at Usha and JD from 2027- 2032? Although they might then be presiding over the ashes.

5. Last year I had 6 months of dealing w/ the IRS. Nothing I did wrong, but a life event and refund was frozen. Every time I would call, they would literally make up things just to have something to say. Would be on hold 45 min. and phone would go dead. I finally got it resolved, but can imagine this year for those having to deal w/ IRS. Between low morale and no one at all answering, good luck.

6. The assassination attempt on Trump last July occurred when Uranus was sq. his natal Mars (12th house Leo) triggered by a square from Mars. With this transit looming again in April/May Trump could be in danger again – and with it being his 12th house, the danger could come from within. He is currently making a lot of enemies across the board and America is kind of crazy.

   • But the crew he has put in place will plough forward anyway. Given Vance is a staunch advocate of dictatorships and would become President doesn’t that mean he would then be untouchable like Trump now as ruled by the Supreme Court?

       perhaps, but JD Vance doesn’t have the cult of personality Trump has. Vance doesn’t have a plethora of shock troops and loyalists like Trump.

       In other words, Vance will be immune from prosecution the same way Trump has been immune. However, that doesn’t mean he’ll be any less vulnerable from potential political violence and any uprisings.

   • @DW, this is what I’ve seen, too. One or more of his disillusioned supporters who believed his lies will take action. And yes, Musk, too, though maybe his addictions will affect him first; he’s so high on his own “success.” Vance is just a tool and lacks the charisma and popularity of his patron. (Although with everyone Trump/Musk has targeted internationally, it could be a multi-pronged effort.) Possibly even the Proud Boys, Oathkeepers or other militias, when faced with loss of benefits/income, will turn against him.

     I’ve been a little shocked at how many normally non-violent, sedate acquaintances I’ve encountered who’ve expressed bloodthirsty thoughts — but no capability for action.

7. Valli and Larryc- appreciate the analysis. What the Vedic analysis does not take into account is any pushback from both the populace and the courts. Valli-are you implying it’s not feasible? Also, if the USA has just recently left Pluto in Sag- per Vedic- what was destroyed/unraveled that was emblematic of Sag, eg religion and travel? Is migration a Sag issue or would it be a Gemini issue? I can’t point to anything resoundingly destroyed by that Pluto transit…but I’m a novice. I’m hopeful that western astrology is accurate for the US. The start date of the US civil war does match the exact movement into Nep in Aries so that gives me hope. Any advice for how to handle intensely negative Vedic aspects when we can’t move away would be helpful, esp our personal financial matters. If I were single, I would have moved last November. If it’s as bad as predicted, I’m hopeful that many countries will provide amnesty —provided that we are allowed to leave our borders. Thanks.

     Moon in the 4th in Aquarius/dhanistha nakshatra- The populace has the quality of Mars+Rahu…unpredictable, warrior-like, rebellious, individualistic, pushing boundaries/insatiable, determined, dances to the beat of their own drum, highly materialistic…

     For the past 2 years, transit Saturn has been passing over this Moon in the 4th pressing down on the public, restricting their freedoms (saturn) etc. Saturn finally exits the 4th this March.

     So, I expect some sort of volatile pushback from the populace starting April… each state could have a different response to whats happening. Some states could see protests and marches, while others- nothing.

     Emigration is seen differently in Jyothish…the 4th/9th/12th houses are analysed

     • For what its worth, I don’t see an outright civil war/actual gunfire or fighting like the one in the past. It could be ‘civil war like’ conditions..which is visible at present.

       If you’re under 35( millenial/Gen z)+ have the resources (financial, emotional), I recommend staying where you are and helping your community…circumstances will improve after 2032.

8. I’m so glad that all of my immediate family has dual nationality as things here look bleak. My favorite solution is a permanent split between red states and blue states. Unfortunately this nativist, reactionary streak has always been present throughout US history and I’m afraid social media just amplifies its voice.

   • Hi SMS- a part of me definitely wants a red state and blue state split but some states seem to be purple. I don’t know how commerce, travel, security issues, etc. could be handled with such a split. The three states on the west coast could split based on geography, obvs. But what about IL caught between IA and Indiana? Would the red hats in blue states be offered homes and jobs in the red states? And vice versa? It’s so complicated…

11. @Virginia- I used the Sibly chart which records the time as 5:10 PM. What follows is all sidereal delineation.
    we always talk about the U.S. pluto return, but, interestingly, U.S. has its Uranus return too!

    Natal US. chart has Uranus in Taurus, so technically, it began the process of its return on 2nd June 2024 when Uranus entered sidereal Taurus. The sibly chart places Uranus in the 7th house, which aligns neatly with the upheaval and chaos in foreign relations. And it also indicates that the next 7 years would be a destablisation of the relations between U.S. and its allies with the peak in 2028-2029. as 7th house is also associated with marriage.divorce/women…so more marriages? more divorces? or is it women refusing to marry/rebelling against tradition as its Uranus in Taurus..

    Onto Pluto- ketu is in the 3rd house and Pluto will pass over it around 2031. Could be any of this: Loss of power, final nail in the coffin wrt old established ways of living, time of reckoning for its past, public health issues like a mental health crisis…

    BUT, interestingly, the U.S. Sun in punarvasu nakshatra speaks of the capacity to “renew” itself time and time again. The cycle of Crisis, death, transformation and renewal seem to be inbuilt in the psyche of the country. So, I would brace myself for a storm for the next 7 years- peaking between 2028-2031..and maybe a process of rebuilding after 2032.

12. I am very much a novice with astrology, but I felt with Jupiter in Gemini, Trump would win and something will happen when it leaves…..what, I do not know, perhaps a little shock and awe. I have had Uranus in my sign for some years now and I can count the bruises, so that will be something for Trump to deal with this year and onward. I guess my concern is Jupiter is heading into Musk’s sign this year and Vance the following year. If there was ever a planet for overreach, it’s Jupiter. I know there are many other factors, but insight?

    • Larry, the only thing that can stop Trump and Musk in their tracks are the American people. They literally have the power. The US natal moon is in Aquarius. Pluto is now in Aquarius. The people are being challenged now and for the next 20 years to reclaim their power and democracy.

    • Which reminds me – just to throw more fat on the fire – that only six months ago or so the Supreme Court ruled the President cannot break the law in doing his job. Which has more than enough wiggle room for Trump to do whatever he likes.

15. I feel the sidereal chart of the U.S. is more revealing of the state of affairs and the unraveling, so to speak.
    Pluto entered sidereal Capricorn in 2020, and that’s where the U.S. natal Pluto is placed. 2020 marked the beginning of sorts of a 20 year destructive cycle where Pluto has been and will be dismantling established structures in the U.S like the federal government, The CDC, USAID etc etc.. This pluto return will only end likely once Pluto enters sidereal Aquarius in 2040.

    Meanwhile, Saturn tries its best to retain the structure as its transits through the signs. The years between 2034 and 2037 are crucial for the U.S. as Saturn in (sidereal)Cancer opposes Pluto in (sidereal)Capricorn. But, the destruction could be more or less complete way before that…likely maybe 2031.

    The years after 2037 could be a ‘rebuilding of the nation’ of sorts.

    If I were a U.S. citizen, and did not want to get caught in the eventual crossfire between the oligarchs and the fascists or between the U.S. and its neighbors/allies or between the blue states and the red states- I would quietly prepare an exit strategy of sorts out of the country- look for jobs in other continents, begin aggressively saving, sell off property (if any), organise finances.

    • @Valli: exiting the US may work for some but unless the new ex-pat has global travel experience, they may set themselves up for distinct defeat . Many formerly friendly countries are less friendly toward US citizens. Not all welcome US with open arms.

      Obtaining a US passport for first timers could be bottlenecked. I owe some old taxes (thru long term economic challenges) and the IRS has marked my name for passport renewal. Scare tactic, perhaps. Move with a clean financial slate.

      Finances are a distinct sore point. There are fewer banks in France, for example, who will easily accept American ex-pats as clients. Most will not easily cater to revealing ex-pats financial records annually. The IRS has closed all overseas offices.

      Speaking the language is a major hurdle for some. For myself, I speak five languages, tho only two well, at all, not counting English. Culture changes, weather/climate changes, ease of buying convenience items may be impossible for some.

      I usually take time to read the stories in CNN about folks who “pick up and move” to Spain or Italy or even France. Not always a good fit. Even for those $1 homes.

      The Border Czar claims the US border for entry is now closed. What happens when it closes for citizens casually leaving the US? Can the new ex-pat manage/deal with family left behind? It is not so simple any longer. I have only my three cats. Immediate family is all dead, I hv no kids, and no rings/no strings, as the old saying goes.

      Don;t knee-jerk, just be patient and have a Plan B and Plan C if exiting.

        However, I still stand by my personal opinion that its time to create an exit strategy- whether the exit strategy is implemented or not. An exit strategy isn’t a knee jerk reaction, but more a plan for “what to do in case of fire”.

        Uranus will re-enter sidereal Taurus (currently in Aries) in mid-March and the next 7 years will be very choppy financially- globally.
        Some countries may fare better than others so its time to make a viable, practical plan.

        I also feel the winds of change are on the U.S. for the long term and the American way of life could be transforming irreversibly because the current American lifestyle seems unsustainable. The U.S. economy is based on consumption- I wonder what could happen to the economy when americans cannot consume? (job loss, inflation, poor health…)

        • When I say U.S consumer driven economy- it isn’t even pleasure goods or entertainment or those categories. Instead the U.S. GDP is closely associated with consumption of healthcare, insurance, housing, utilities (power, water, sewage, waste..)

          Uranus transit through sidereal Taurus +Pluto transit through sidereal Capricorn+ Neptune transit through sidereal Pisces could burst all illusions of the ‘American dream’, expose the rot in financial systems and force a long, slow gradual change of existing American lifestyles.

          • @Valli – oh, I agree about consumer driven economy. For years, I planned to relocate to France. Many reason: stable govt (relative to the US), decent medical care, and an aerospace industry more robust than Boeing-based. I hv a French native which i hired as my consultant. She has helped on many facets. I worked w/Marjorie related to best cities, better cities, and other countries.

            However, life puts change in place, and I’ve had to pause and reconsider what is the better plan.

            Tho I am older than I was, my SSN is enuf to afford a decent flat in a small city or village. Finding employment is as problematic for older workers, given the relatively younger retirement age in France.

            I am impressed with you comment re sidereal zodiac , I looked up the USA chart and it places the Sun in Gemini, Asc in Virgo, etc, how do you interpret, it must be a totally different way of looking at things.

          • A friend of mine, a retiree, moved to Panama last year. Of course Trump is threatening them (the Canal anyway) as elsewhere in the world – hard to get away from. But it’s affordable if you don’t have to work, many American ex-Pats likely retirees.

      • Larryc, if you have say any chance of another country’s citizenship through parents or grandparents, you could look into taking out citizenship that way. Like if a parent or grandparent was say Irish born, that would entitle you to Irish citizenship. As Eire is in the EU, with an Irish passport, National Insurance Number and a bank account, you would find getting a French bank account considerably easier. You would of course need to look into the pros and cons of the whole thing, but it might make it a lot easier for you in the long run.

        • Plenty of people live in one country and work in another. And maybe the Irish have less angst about reporting to Uncle Sam.

        • @Linda: I considered the Italian ancestral heritage citizenship path years ago. Far too much legwork and expense. I’ve had consultants quote me $20K and about a year of research. The Italian legal burocracy is exceedingly slow, and really does take a year or so.

18. Huffpost.com is my go-to website first thing in the morning. It’s decidedly liberal—that’s why I like it. The comments pertaining to each news story are of particular interest. One of the posted new stories re Trump’s firing of countless federal employees, most notably at nuclear power plants, brought this response: “I am a former nuclear weapons technician. 10 years, USAF. Trump is unfit to be president. He must be impeached, convicted and removed from office before something REALLY BAD happens. It is coming.” Alarming, to say the least. Wondering if there could be a nuclear meltdown—literally. Wouldn’t Pluto in Aquarius suggest mass destruction/fatalities via a sudden nuclear catastrophe? Trump is playing games with our very lives.

    • Nuclear tends to be Pluto Neptune and that is not around.

Given that Trump winning the US Election was a real possibility once he had won the Republican nomination then one might have that the European powers would have prepared for the consequences, particularly as his declared desire to terminate US involvement in funding the war in the Ukraine was not a secret. In reality they appear to have been taken by surprise and are still struggling to agree on what if anything should be the response.

    The astrology seems to reflect Europe’s current situation which seems to indicate a possible unravelling of the post war order across the whole continent. The Treaty of Rome chart dated 25 March 1957 has the Sun at 4 Aries, Mercury at 9 Aries and Venus at 29 Pisces. It has a fixed T square of Moon at 2 Aquarius opposing Uranus at 2 Leo with retrograde Neptune at 1 Scorpio on the apex. This is being strongly activated at the moment by Pluto at 2 Aquarius on the apex. The North Node is currently conjunct the Treaty chart Venus and transiting Neptune. The latter is approaching its ingress into Aries in March to be followed by Saturn later in the year. At the same time Venus is about to go retrograde at 10 Aries on 2 March 2025 to be followed by Mercury
    which turns retrograde at 9 Mercury on 15 March 2005 exactly conjunct the Treaty of Romes natal Mercury. This does not bode well for Europes ability to influence the discussions between Russia and the USA. To add the mix there will be a Solar Eclipse on 29 March 2025 at 8 Aries. This will part of the Saros 149 cycle which Bernadette’s Brady associated with accidents, physical exertion and violence. The eclipse shadow will cover North East America, Greenland, Iceland, the North Atlantic, most of Europe and part of North West Russia so is likely to be influencing events surrounding the Ukraine.

    • Dear Hugh, I am sure that your astrological analysis based on the Treaty of Rome is quite correct. However, you overlook the fact that the EEC was an enormous success. These were the years of the Wirtschftswunder, La trente glorieuse and il boom economico.

      I would date the start of the unravelling of the EEC with the accession of the UK on 1 January 1973. An alternative date could be Treaty of Accession 1972 signed 22 January 1972 effected from 1 January 1973.

        • Dear Virginia, it is a very long and complex story, but I shall attempt to precis it when I return this afternoon.

        • By the 1960s the EEC was a highly successful trading bloc. High tariffs were used to keep imports out, but encouraged trade between the members. As a result growth rates in all of the EEC countries averaged about 5-6% per annum. Goods were manufactured within each country and then sold into the neighbouring countries The result was a highly degree of cohesion between all of the countries within the bloc, which was a bastion of stability sandwiched between the Soviet Union and Le Defi Americaine.

          Politically the EEC was run by a France-German partnership with the Benelux and Italy acquiescing with the arrangement, but because of the mutual prosperity the arrangement was never questioned.

          After the accession, the UK’s trade barriers were demolished and because of the marketing strength and efficiency of their enterprises it became open season for continental, particularly German, firms on the British market. In the Seventies the motor and motor cycle manufacturing firms were forced into bankruptcy. After Britain became a petrocurrency and Mrs Thatcher was elected,the rest of British industry was destroyed under interest rates of 16% and the $2 pound. However bankers in the City of London thrived and spent their earnings on high performance German cars, German fashion and German household goods, which created a new competition between German industry and the rest of Europe.

          In addition, under Mrs Thatcher it became an aim of the Foreign Office to drive a wedge between the Quai D’orsay and Bonn, which was very successful, achieved through expanding the membership of the EC, the development of the single market and the espousal of ‘free’ markets especially in finance. German industrialists were strong supporters of Mrs Thatcher; other industrialists less so.

          All of this changed a tightly coupled economic bloc dominated by two countries and driven by French realpolitik into a lumbering, unwieldy giant driven by an eccentric ideology with policies completely at variance with the former EEC .

            Quite a superb summing up, thank you. I was under the impression that the original EEC was a French German construct and of course protectionist.

      • The EU was successful within a wider security framework that included NATO all the other post Second World War institutions largely created and supported financially by the USA. These are now being tested because Pluto and Neptune are opposing the signs they transited in the late 1940s and 1950s. Uranus is also back where it was located in the 1940s. If there are any underlying weaknesses they will now be exposed.

        With regard to the Trump administration my view is that it is in part a product of his opponents own policies.

    • @Hugh Fowler, well, what do you know, Trump held a presser at Mar-a-Lago repeating that Ukraine started is the War last night. While he has said the same in other words countless times, this seems to have sent shockwaves among European leaders. You might have noticed Trump became seemingly softer on Ukraine in previous months, maybe leading to the same wishful thinking American politics have kept on. My guess is that Trump was thinking that rare earth minerals “deal” that was presented to Ukrainian government would have success.

      This is, indisputably, bad for European countries, especially us bordering Russia. The US and Russia are now talking without engaging the parties most affected by their talks. And yes, Treaty of Rome might be gone, but there’s a real urgency to have something else in place, also considering most of the key players were never part of the the old EEC or only came in at a later stage.

        These outbursts are gonna find him (and the US) in a corner w/o any escape. Unfortunately for the US, ramifications have not yet begun to hit. Will likely take a few yrs for forces to become agitated and then activated.

        Speaking of 1939, we were as unprepared then as we are now.

        And I wonder also about the Saturn/Pluto square of June/July of 2028 and how that will impact the nations. Saturn at that time will be 8 degrees Taurus making s conjunction with Chiron and Pluto 8 Aquarius. Troubling times.

    • That little row of Aries celestial dominoes you’ve outlined is interesting, Hugh. The Aries Solar eclipse falls on the transiting Jupiter/Pluto midpoint. I’ve been wondering about that, and whether it boosts the energy of the eclipse and its Saros Series? If it does, then there’s a tremendous surge of energy around in March – perhaps linked to ‘foreign affairs’, political beliefs, power, and destruction? The Jupiter/Pluto theme could include our leaders too, bringing assertive yet unwise, impulsive actions?

      The Treaty chart’s Venus is opposed by the Virgo eclipse in September. At the same time, tr Saturn is conjunct Venus, with Neptune Rx at 0 Aries. Financial difficulties, to say the least? Fixed star Scheat, at 29 Pisces aligned with the Treaty Venus adds something too – it does have successful potential, as the earlier history of the EU bears out, but is also linked to falls from a great height (plane crashes), and disasters involving the sea. That eclipse is also conjunct the Sun for France, 1792, and opposes the Pisces Moon for the UK 1066 chart. One other that springs to mind is the Pisces Neptune for the US Civil War.

      The last few Saturn-Neptune conjunctions have been followed by changes to the map of Europe, particularly Eastern Europe, and has specifically always impacted Ukraine, in the following two-three years.

      1989-1991 – Collapse of the Soviet Union, creating multiple new states, such as Ukraine, in Eastern Europe.
      1953-1955 – Crimea transferred from Russia to Ukraine.
      1917-1919 – Russian Civil War, with Ukraine being created as a separate state, dismembered and gaining territory from the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

      1773-1775 – Most of Ukraine annexed by Russia.

      There does seem to be a pattern of Ukraine gaining and losing territory at this conjunction. And I am not sure which one is going to occur. My money is on this happening in 2-3 years, with events in Russia possibly having an impact on the outcome in Ukraine.

      As an aside, I expect other border changes in the wider Eastern Europe region as well. Marjorie had predicted that Eustern Europe may break away from the EU, and my supposition is that it may be drawn back into the Russian orbit or into an Intermarium project with an expanded Ukraine (Intermarium is a political project to recreate the old Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth, which used to stretch from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea).

20. I said it after the Inauguration – Trump’s Sun-Uranus shaking us into the Pluto in Aqua era. Yet I also observe that he was elected in the dying days of Pluto in Capricorn and he is trying to return America to older times. He is probably just the trigger for the next 20yrs of Pluto in Aqua, just like the Global Financial Crash set up much that occurred during the Cap years. That said, we shouldn’t forget that Aquarius is co-ruled by Saturn.

    • My other thought, which is not Trump-related, but is relevant to the Ukraine/EU ripples is that the upcoming Saturn-Neptune conjunction – close in July, exact in 2026 – has historically always seen big change in Russia. And normally to the leadership which suggests Putin. And if Russia changes leadership then that it may be the end of the war and well, I’m not quite sure how it plays out.

      • @Gnarly Dude, my reading is that the war ending out not only Putin but his regime. How? I think it will have something to do with the War Economy collapsing. This is really what has kept Russian economy afloat. After the war ends, something akin to Germany after WWI could happen. Ruble being hit by hyperinflation is a possibility. They have a A MILLION man hole in their economy. They are now sending fathers in the 40’s and to the front, they can’t lose more people in their 20’s.

      • Gnarly Dude, I have wondered that too of the coming Saturn-Neptune conjunction, its significant role in Russian history, and Putin, who was himself born during a Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Libra.

        Putin is supposedly well-protected, but he’s not immortal. Also, Ukraine has been shockingly adept at striking into Moscow. It would surely be an epic comeuppance for Putin and a “shot heard round the world” if the country he brazenly invaded took him down in the end. But that could also just as easily come at the hands of his own people grown too tired of his antics. Or maybe Mother Nature does her thing and he’s suddenly gone? Who or what would step into the power vacuum his demise would create?

21. @larryc, not sure where you’re located, but as someone observing this from the inside, I can say it is utterly horrifying, not some exciting drama to be watched while eating a bucket of popcorn. The destruction of the Western Alliance, the suffering being creating both inside and outside the country, the threat of danger and destabilization as referenced by @Solaia, the justified ill-will among our former friends and allies–like millions of others, I did not choose this, in fact worked hard to prevent it, yet here we are, stuck as hostages in this horrific and shameful reality. It’s a slow-rolling nightmare.

    In a previous post, I believe Marjorie mentioned that J.D. Vance seems to be riding high astrologically toward the end of the year–from ca. Nov. on, perhaps. Are there any indications this might herald a change in the presidency, i.e., the current occupant’s exit from the top chair?

    • @AI22: I presently live in Seattle. 25% Ukrainian. For yrs I believed I was 50% Italian, 25% Russian. [there’s a potpourri of nationalities somewhere in the blend]. I hv no love for the GOP in general, watching what occured in Nam and other global conflicts.

      I’m too numb to expand on the drama. Yes, for this observer, I will have a pallet of Jiffy Pop shipped from eBay. I will observe and learn what I can from the GOP circus and the impact to world leaders. Others on this forum (like Solaia and Hugh) provide excellent insight from their own countries’ histories with Russia.

      Yes, at this moment, much looks gloom and doom. In six months, the perspective will change as will the outcome. Mr Trump believes this war can end in 24 hrs, stop on a dime, and golf courses will sprout across the Ukrainian wheat fields just like in Gaza.

      I am but one person but I am networked into a very small Ukrainian cluster of friends. I continue to learn the language, learn the recipes, and look to the future for positive change.

      I managed to survive the very real fear of being conscripted for Nam in 1974 and 1975. It was not easy.

      If I downplay the events overall, it is a forced hand. Waving about won;t change much, right now. And, I do not have the interest or energy to do so.

      • I was class of 75. And I remember the collective sigh of relief when it came to an end. And up till then I hadn’t realised how on edge about it I had been. It wasn’t helped that all the forces were sending those who were turning 18 recruitment brochures, designed to entice young women.

        I scoffed at that, because I knew that at 5 ft. 1 1/2 I was too short for any of them. Although I suspect that somebody somewhere got immense pleasure out of winding up those women’s libbers. ‘ Like that’ll teach ’em!’

22. I’ve had a strong sense that there will be a bad terrorist attack against the US, possibly personal atttacks, given Trump’s aggressive posture against just about everyone in the world except Israel, Russia and Hungary. It won’t be pretty. The US is becoming a pariah nation under Trump.

      • If the judiciary (in particular the Supreme Ct) does not intervene to return power to the legislative branch and nip Trump’s personal plays then chaos will be activated in USA. The only barrier then would be a military coup to restore the Constitutional separation of powers. Or the prospect of a civil war looms.

        The military has been apolitical for centuries and is sworn to support the Constitution not any branch of govt. or individuals. Look for clues astrologically.

        Especially since the vast majority of COMBAT positions in the military are minorities and/or lower middle class background. (Black Latin Native American Asian or poor whites). They will know the pain of these changes thru their families. Not likely to willingly put down any protests.

        The officer core is mostly upper middle class background not wealthy and are highly motivated to protect the institutions of our govt/democracy.

        Neither is likely to be googely-eyed in thrall of DJT. They might feel prodded to intervene.

        • Another thing to consider is the impact on shared information by security services. The Five Eyes (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK & U.S) for example are not going to be keen to keep U.S. in the loop if Russia becomes an ally rather than a threat. Will America’s Secret Service personnel be content with the new situation…..and will Elon Musk be nosing around in their business?

    • Never believe that these fools—Musk included—wouldn’t try and orchestrate such an event in order to provide a pretext for an even bigger power grab. Firing the Nuclear watch crew and Federal Aviation employees? The brazenness of these people is truly staggering and unprecedented.

    • Nicole, add to that Trump’s demoralizing the FBI by firing all of the agents who worked on his cases, trying to place MAGA conspiracy theorist Kash Patel as the head of the FBI and now Tulsi Gabbard who has been confirmed as head of DNI there will definitely be blind spots when it comes to gathering raw domestic intelligence and counterintelligence.

      • The Secret Service has long been a troubled agency, overextended and understaffed, politicized under Trump and already suffering from behavioral issues.

        What I suspect may happen is that disillusioned MAGA supporters who have lost their jobs, benefits and/or other sources of income may take action. But the attack(s) may come from abroad because of all the new, energized enemie Trump has activated. And, because of the way the US intelligence agencies and FBI have been compromised, foreign intelligence agencies won’t be sharing tips as in the past.

        I don’t believe in violence, but this is what I’m sensing may happen.

23. The one question I have is who is behind the “foreign policy”, given DJT was not interested in actually governing during his first term. People say Musk, but I’d put Stephen Miller as the person having most say on International relations. J.D. Vance’s Munich speech had many Miller trademarks. They are around the same age, born 1984 and 1985, definitely have similar ideological formation that older members of the Trump Universe, even Elon, would find difficult to understand. They have a supercharged composite with Sun on Ascendant and all the action below horizont. They also both have supercharged Solar Returns for 2025/26 set for Washington DC. Miller has Uranus on Asc, and a Yod involving 4th house Sun/Moon as the apix and Jupiter sextile Saturn/Neptune. Vance has Pluto conjunct Desc oppose Sun/Mercury slightly further from Ascendant.

    I would love to look at Secretary of State Rubio’s chart, but there is no TOB for him. I don’t know if Florida birth certificates carry these, because this would really be an interesting to see. Rubio seems to represent the Senate which is present in Inauguration chart (11th house), in the mix, he was confirmed 99-0, possibly because Dems feared worse, but possibly as more “traditional” Republicans hoping to have a voice in all that’s happening.

    • Rubio is actually considered a sane voice of reason. He is however shadowed by a Maga/Voight handler all day every day who reports back to the top as he is not 100% trusted by administration. The handler is with him always.

    • I think you’re right about Miller. Possibly Peter Navarro is involved, too. He’s a former economics professor at the University of California — Irvine (in Orange County) who ran multiple times for Congress and mayor of San Diego as a Democrat, always soundly rejected by voters. He’s a real blowhard no one in San Diego can stand.

      I’ll poke around on my political sites to see who else may be calling the shots on foreign policy. Oh, yes, of course — don’t forget Putin and Netanyahu, masters at manipulating Trump.

      • I knew it would be bad, but never thought it would be as bad as it is. I had some hope for Ukraine because the Saturn/Neptune conjunction is historically difficult for Russia. I am nervous for Russia’s neighbours and can only imagine how gutted and anxious they must feel.

        • I’m Bulgarian. I’ m terrified. Russia occupied twice my country. I am afraid they want us again in the “ruski mir”. I hoped that Putin gonna vanish. Saturn conjunct Neptun is always Russia… I knew Trump and MAGAs are unreliable but that is a shock.

    • @larryc, I would too, if this didn’t mean return to the Cold War power blocs to Europe. And yes, I think some of us have to get a grip here, as someone who was raised in a “neutral” country Soviets however thought they owned, it’s depressing. Now, imagine being in one of the ex-Soviet (bloc) countries and being completely abandoned by the US. I don’t condone violence, but from what I read from not only Ukraine, but much of the EU’s “Eastern flank” I would not be surprised if there was violence against this US.

      The same with the hundreds fired at the FAA, and suddenly 3 plane crashes in approx the same number of weeks, and according to The Guardian newspaper Trump admin still fire FAA staff including safety inspectors in spite of the crashes.

      Make uneducated and ill-informed decisions and the Universe responds at a fitting moment with a test. Unfortunately however I don’t think this administration will learn the lesson.

      • We’ve got to be careful when talking about karma because it’s not a mystical force. It’s just the sum of your past actions contribute to the future ones. I don’t see there was enough time with the laying off of CDC for that to shape into those planes crashes. True karma is more like when wings were falling off planes because Boeing had been taking short cuts on their build process for a while.

        That said, I do wonder if this spate of plane crashes is symbolic of Pluto in Aqua (air sign) even if thankfully no-one died in Toronto.

        • You are right GD. These problems i.e epidemic and crashes were brewing before Trump and his boys took the helm. It does feel like a message is being sent as they purge said authorities. Didn’t explain it particularly well when said karma but was having a different thought.

      • Mr Musk and his coterie of geniuses also fired 300 staffers of the National Nuclear Security Administration not realising they are responsible for the safety of the US’s nuclear stockpile. Apparently on realising their boo boo they attempted to recall them. Unfortunately the personnel records were either destroyed or went missing so an unknown number could not be recalled.
