Royals in disarray – siblings at odds

Charles finally acted in the interests of the monarchy stripping his brother Andrew of title and home as status and reputation won out over family.

Charles’ 10th house Taurus North Node has an implicit momentum towards career and public life -and with his Solar Arc Pluto conjunct his 4th house South Node exactly this year he clearly felt the time had come to follow his destiny and cut loose from an old family dilemma. Much of the blame for this sadly belongs to Queen Elizabeth 11 who must have been informed by the security services and political advisers of Andrew’s more than questionable financial dealings and all the rest.

No doubt Prince William would have kept up the pressure since his relationship with his uncle is dire – with a composite Saturn, Neptune Mars conjunction which tr Uranus started to oppose this year and will continue on for another two years or more – so he won’t be backing off and there may be more to come to raise his ire.

Sibling rivalry has haunted the Royals over the past three generations. Charles and Andrew have a competitive and aggravated composite Sun, Mars, Mercury sextile Saturn in their relationship chart. Andrew’s yod focal point Uranus is conjunct Charles’ 1st house Pluto – so they are chalk and cheese with Andrew on a mission to de-stabilise Charles’s influence. Andrew’s Pluto is also conjunct Charles’ Saturn for a no-win tussle (over money).

Queen Elizabeth had her own problems with her sister the wayward Princess Margaret; with Margaret’s rebellious Uranus square Queen Elizabeth’s overly conscientious 6th house Pluto. Their relationship chart had an implacable and fairly toxic composite Mars square Pluto.

There was an undercurrent with Margaret of her trying to upstage Queen Elizbeth which is certainly the case with Harry whose Pluto is conjunct William’s Midheaven Jupiter – so the barbs and attacks are Harry’s way of trying to control William and bring down (damage) his reputation. No doubt to bolster his weak self-esteem.

Even one generation before – though the situation was different with the spare having no desire to be monarch – the abdicated Duke of Windsor’ Midheaven was conjunct King George V1’s Mars with his retreat causing a good deal of anger. Their relationship chart was nerve-stretched and a recipe for confusion with a composite yod of Uranus sextile Moon inconjunct Neptune Pluto.

There is nothing to indicate a healing of William and Harry’s relationship – indeed it may worsen over the turn of the decade into the early 2030s.

Princess Beatrice and Eugenie will be undermined by tr Saturn Neptune in Aries now and through 2026 and beyond on their birth charts; with considerable strain and anxiety between them and their father.

My own personal thoughts are that Charles who was always known to be thin skinned about attention being diverted from his ‘public performances’ would have been enraged about his historic Vatican visit being over-shadowed, let alone being heckled after that. There may well be more to come since the media are on the hunt and Andrew’s financial capers were egregious and glossed over at the time.  The real risk is that public anger over Andrew will force open a Pandora’s Box where the Royal finances are concerned.

    • It is interesting that he is a 0 degree Sun in Pisces – and no one else (other than Ghislaine Maxwell/ Epstein) has been held to accountability.

    • Andrew was offered to clear himself from criminal allegations back in 2019 after the Maitlis interview, but he declined. Instead his mummy paid £12 million to settle the civil case out of court. Why didn´t he clear his name? What does he have to do with the shady Saudis and their millions and the Yang Tengbo, in which case even the MI5 was alerted? Andrew also caused criminal damage to the gate of Windsor Great Park, and the police dropped all charges due to “lacking enough detail”, even though he was seen ramming into it. Just to put it into perspective: no “Royal” has been brought to trial since 1649. If you are a “Royal” you are exempt from a lot of aspects of ordinary life, the justice system included. He is a prime example.

  1. Interesting article from Marina Hyde because she essentially says what I’d been wondering. That Andrew’s takedown is an early stage of Pluto in Aquarius and will now open the floodgates – obviously she doesn’t say it in astrological terms.

And I don’t think it’s just Royals who should be looking over their shoulders – any of the rich and powerful elites (not necessarily connected to Epstein) who have taken advantage of the masses in recent decades.

    • Aquarius is groups. Political parties are being questioned too. Pluto is challenging our whole group structure. One could argue MPs and Leaders are Political Royalty. Some MPs are making a lot of money, owning more than one house, renting their permanent homes whilst in Government , thus making the tax payers, pay towards their mortgages? Whilst they live in accommodation paid for by us in their constituency’s. We also pay the constituency homes fuel bills as well.

      • We do not have constituency homes in Canada. This is entirely new to me. The only official homes paid by the taxpayer are for the prime minister, the leader of the opposition, the governor general and the speaker of the house who has, I think, an apartment in Parliament. The prime minister also has an official summer residence. Our minister of Finance does not share an official home, and he certainly does not live next to the prime minister. There are no royal properties in Canada.

  2. Fascinating how Andrew’s Solar Return suggests a critical year with major personal crisis; echoing the possibility of extreme upheaval, shock, and public downfall. His SR MC-IC is 29 Capricorn-29 Cancer with Pluto (3 Aquarius) conjunct MC and squaring the Moon (5 Scorpio).

  3. When you look at William’s and Harry synastry as they grow older, you can how the resentment would creep in for Harry. I hadn’t registered that Harry’s Pluto was conjunct William’s Jupiter and trining his Sun and Moon. Harry always appeared to envy William’s having a family first. Yet maybe his wealth as well? Harry’s Moon is in Taurus, ruled by Venus, along with Harry’s Venus conjunct William’s Saturn. He must feel suppressed by that Saturn. Stopped from being what he wants or having it? Taurus rules Harry’s money/wealth – his own money. With a Moon in Taurus/Venus there is a love of luxury comfort on a daily basis. Harry’s Pluto is in its rulership sign, making the feeling very powerful, almost a deep seated desire to destroy? Is Harry really lashing out at William, rather than is father? Seething with an undercurrent of jealousy about not having the prestige that William has. Not being King? I see Harry leaving the Royal family in a different light now. It was to branch out, set up court and be a leader, in my view. It is about rulership, wealth and prestige.

    • From stories it was evidently irresponsible nannies who taunted Harry about not being Number One. If true, he would constantly be made to feel inferior which would take normal sibling rivalry to a whole new level.
Though I have never understood why for instance Margaret was such a brat – she had all the money and cache in the world and could have done anything she pleased – in contrast to Elizabeth who was weighed down by responsibilities of office. Ditto Harry.
Neither Margaret or Harry were/are cut out for the onerous task of becoming monarch. Everyone has to walk behind someone in life – so what?. It is hardly the chain gang.

          • Margaret wanted what Harry has been striving for, a half in and a half out position. In other words she wanted all the perks and none of the responsibility.

        • Margaret had a massive crush on PT,. And as the years passed, that feeling passed. But she still wanted to marry him, because marriage would give her the freedom she craved to do whatever she wanted. She wanted to be half in and half out and the Queen wouldn’t let her. Sound familiar?

I believe that Elizabeth ii had something on Margaret, that forced her to back down. And it involved a young model’s d3ath. But beyond that I don’t want to say. Other than this woman died in January 1955, and her case is bound up with 2 other people, one who was unalived and the other who suffered the d3ath sentence, for that unaliving. You will just have to work that one out for yourselves. Oh and it might have also involved another royal. So this could have been a huge scandal.

    • Good analyis Helen. But worth keeping in mind that Pluto feels compelled to expose the underbelly. Harry may want people to see the ‘hidden’ William that he knows first hand.

      • Caroline—And some of us want the “hidden” Harry exposed. Staying at the home of a Russian oligarch in Canada, purchasing the home (at a greatly reduced price) of a Russian oligarch in CA. An inquiry into who is paying the sugars aka the Sussex squad who have threatened the Wales family online for years. Harry has never denounced them. Not once. Going on Oprah with about seventeen lies spewed while Prince Philip was dying (they knew he was dying). And what the heck his company, Travalyst actually does. Just to name a few.

  4. Incidental to the main drama – the front of The Times says Fergie will now live apart from Andrew thirty years after their divorce. Astrologically that makes sense given Saturn is moving into Aries where she has her moon and opposing her Libra Sun. Finally being forced to take responsibility for herself I suppose.

    • Good old Saturn! Such a reliable clock. But I think the theme of siblings extends to Fergie’s two daughters, and that she will expect them to help her. Possibly that will feel like a bit of a burden….as Marjorie writes:

“Princess Beatrice and Eugenie will be undermined by tr Saturn Neptune in Aries now and through 2026 and beyond on their birth charts; with considerable strain and anxiety between them and their father.”

      • Indeed most mothers have close relationships with their daughters – so I’m sure she will be put pressure on them. But then maybe both daughters will decide its time to cut the apron strings which a Saturn transit would want and distance themselves / set boundaries with her.

If I recall Andrew’s chart he has transiting Saturn/Neptune wedging itself into his 8th house. Saturn would have hit his Descendant in mid-2021, backed out and then been in those houses since 2022. IIRC his father Phillip died in Apr 2021 and then The Queen in Sept 2022. Outside of Fergie they were probably the last remaining support he had and true to Saturn in 7th/8th he was left to fend for himself.

    • I wonder if Sarah is bipolar, not sure how to read that in her chart. Just her life seems to have been so chaotic, financial business losses, apparently outrageous personal spending, selling her London house recently, seems to have been very unwise. Yet creative.

  5. There was always going to be drama in King Charles reign, he was inaugurated under mercury retrograde. His reign as King is not going to an easy or a happy one, he is probably not going to last long. Prince William will have to take over earlier than scheduled. Even under him there is still a lot of change coming since Pluto is in Aquarius and it will oppose the Leo Sun at some point. The Royals are ruled by Leo, that means they will go through transformation in years to come. The Epstein files is not lying it’s head down anytime soon, JP Morgan also published a report that in 2019 it raised the alarm about some suspicious transactions of Wall Street titans with Jeffrey Epstein. And those people are still at Wall Street even now, some became billionaires, a lot is still going to be revealed on how they made their billions. Obviously through Epstein connections. Mercury is turning retrograde on 9th of this month until the 29th, the sparks are going to fly, let’s all sit and watch the Epstein movie. Especially in the USA.

  6. Virginia McGuffie’s family made a statement today applauding what occurred as well as stated they planned to continue fighting for all of Epstein’s victims.
I doubt we can do a chart to determine the outcome, since there is still so much we don’t know about all the victims. Having said that, can we expect a fallout coming soon? It’s not as though Virginia’s book didn’t share what we already knew, so why now? The fact that Charles chose now to get rid of Andrew now suggests to me that there is even more information coming out soon.
So many of people’s charts suggest extreme upheaval in the next two years. I wonder if new evidence targeting Epstein’s clients is the cause, and this is the catalyst. After all, if Britain can get rid of a prince, who else is set to be thrown out of power? I hope so. I don’t care who is involved.

  7. Andrew is now no longer a “Prince” or “His Royal Highness (HRH)” and he has lost his dukedom, earldom, barony, military ranks and royal patronages together with his current home. This is pretty much the equivalent of an Act of Attainder of the sort passed by Edward IV on his younger brother the Duke of Clarence. Being sent off to the Sandringham Estate looks like a form of House Arrest.

Next years Solar Eclipse on 12 August 2026 at 20 Leo will be falling close to Andrew’s natal Uranus at 18 Leo and opposite King Charles III natal Pluto at 16 Aquarius. The North Node in the Eclipse Chart will be conjunct Andrew’s Sun at 0 Pisces and Chiron conjunct King Charles natal Moon at 0 Taurus.

    According to Bernadette Brady

“This Saros Series concerns itself with breaking out of a very negative situation where no hope can be seen to a more positive space containing many options. A worry that may have been affecting a person will suddenly clear. The solution is shown by the Cosmos and needs to be taken up without too much delay.”

    • That’s really strange, Hugh because the astrology for 18 February 1487 (execution of the Duke of Clarence, Tower of London) sees the North Node at 18 degrees Leo.

    • Hugh,

I read the reason for Andrew being sent to Sandringham was it’s away from Prince William and his family and it’s also a place that King Charles owns personally.

    • Though with the outer planets it’s all generational. My own Uranus is at 20˚ Leo, as it is for everyone born within a few months as me.

    • I hope he doesn’t hurt himself. That would really be a sad end and shocking for the monarchy. Someone should watch Andrew’s mental health closely and provide psychological support. This man clearly has a personality disorder.

Also, there is talk of a private criminal prosecution and removing him from the order of succession, which would require the consent of other Commonwealth countries such as Canada. Enough already. How much humiliation can a clearly beaten man take?

The focus should now turn to the many other perpetrators. Vriginia Giuffre’s book mentions a former well-known but unnamed prime minister. And of course the US Justice Deartment knows a lot more than it says about Mr. T. What a tragedy.

      • Mr Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is has his Sun/Moon midpoint in Capricorn, within two degrees of Saturn, he is a person who can’t see the wood for the trees. He gets bogged down or doubles down depending on what it is. . His Saturn is in its rulership sign , therefore he will see himself a an authority, maybe untouchable? He also has Mars conjunction Venus in Capricorn, power over both men and women? A need to control? His Sun in Pisces can mean he doesn’t like conflict, equally a hidden power or need for dominance? Scorpio Moon will also be secretive. Pluto is money sex and politics, all powerful needs or vices? All in which he has come to prominence with making a mess. With Pluto’s, Scorpio ruler in Virgo/Earth, a picture of someone who has secret desires and a need to be in control emerges. An importance in power may have found its home in controlling in a sexual outlet.

        • His Sun’s ruler is Neptune, which is in Scorpio. In many ways Andrew’s lived in a mist of an undercurrent of deceit, with a need to be powerful and a conflict within himself. As, to my mind, he has been hiding who he really is!

      • Seriously?….. “How much humiliation can a clearly beaten man take”? Maybe if he actually ate some of the humble pie being dished out to him then one could feel some sympathy for him but is he doing that? No. He keeps on trying to save face, take down other members of the royal family, and embarrass his relatives in public – all while refusing to meaningfully apologize or take accountability for his part in the scandal. Now his daughters will be forced to carry his burdens for him. As for him potentially hurting himself… that type of action only comes from a place of guilt and shame which I’ve yet to see from him.

I’ll save my sympathy for the victims who don’t have a royal family or royal purse to look after them.

        • While one should not believe everything that supposedly comes from ‘inside sources’ there was a telling story about the Duchess of Kent’s funeral – which seemed to me the initial straw that broke the camel’s back (followed by shading the Vatican visit etc).
After discussion with senior Royals it was evidently agreed that Andrew and Fergie be invited but they were to use the side door and slip in and out unseen. Surprise surprise they marched up to the front door, brass necked their way to centre stage afterwards and treated the whole thing as a jolly outing. It was very disrespectful.

          • I saw the news video of this incident, Marjorie, and it’s actually what I was referring to in my above comment. Andrew appears quite shameless and seemingly intent and taking those around him down – even if it comes at the future expense of his daughters. Agreed…very disrespectful.

          • Agreed, it was rather brazen, as he positioned himself next to the heir to the throne. Never seen Prince William look so stern.

          • Andrew has no self-awareness and is clearly a narcissist. I do feel the shock of his humiliation could bring him to self-destruction. While the suffering of the victims are the priority of any decent mind, I cannot rejoice over a man throwing hsi life away.

      • To be taken out of the line of succession, Andrew would have to be found guilty of tr3ason. Technically he hasn’t been stripped of his titles because only Parliament and the Parliaments of the 14 realms can do that. But he is not allowed to use the titles as they have been put in abeyance.

For context, 700 years ago, a nobleman would only ask for his titles and estates to be taken into abeyance, if he knew he was going to be executed for tr3ason. This was in the hope that at some point in the future that his heir or one of his descendants would have the restrictions lifted by the monarch or a future monarch.

In the meantime his estates would be managed by another nobleman, and this nobleman would gain all income from the estates. Often if the heir was a minor, the nobleman would become the heir’s guardian, and the heir would become his ward. And if the guardian had a marriageable daughter, the ward and the daughter would in time marry, but only if it was likely that the monarch was considering granting the rank, titles and the estates to the nobleman’s ward or his descendant.

But in modern times, whilst The Duke of York, is an important title, it unlike the Duke of Cornwall which has the vast Duchy of Cornwall and is for the benefit of The Prince of Wales – the D o Y, has no landed estates., and therefore no income. And that has been, Andrew’s motivating force and his downfall.

It should be noted that the title, the Duke of York is solely for the younger son of the monarch. It is a royal title and not to be confused with those in the House of Lords, who have hereditary titles. And hereditary titles are due to be phased out (in the House of Lords) and only those who have been given non hereditary titles will be allowed to take part. But none of these are royal titles.

In any case royal titles are going back to the crown on the death of the present holders, as has been announced with the the Dukes of: Edinburgh, Gloucester and Kent. Which in all likelihood, means that a certain someone in California probably won’t be passing on his titles to his son.

Andrew has left himself open to blackmail and to the charge of esp1onage and maybe tr3ason. That is what happens when you consort with known spies, allegedly. In the UK a charge of tr3ason is to do with unaliving the monarch, attempting to unalive the monarch and plotting and conspiring the unaliving of the monarch. Plus the bit about anyone who has s3x withe monarch’s Consort or unwed daughter, which is construed as tr3ason.

3spionage is not considered the same as tr3ason, though it carries the same sentence. Which can be 7 to 14 years imprisonment. I think under Tony Blair, the d3ath sentence was done away with. But some disagree, with that viewpoint of what the Tr3ason Act means.

In any case, Parliament would have to change the law and combine other laws with tr3ason, like 3spionage and perhaps Fraud , in a certain other royal’s case to make that work. Or upgrade those existing laws, to be considered tr3asonous. But by officially taking away Andrew’s rank of Prince, Charles has pretty much given Parliament permission to do so.

And that is the nub of it. So while Andrew hasn’t been charged with any crime, it looks very much as though, he has done something highly illegal, that has nothing to really to do with Virginia Giuffre, who I must remind people was not considered a creditable witness by the District Attorney while prosecuting the Ghislaine Maxwell case. And the fact that she has admitted that there were untruths in her first book. And while, Andrew has had his HRH stripped, his titles out into abeyance and his rank of Prince stripped. It should also be noted that he is still in the Line of Succession. And this was to keep his daughters and grandchildren in the Line of Succession. But that might change, if there are more scandals to be revealed. Or if Parliament insists on it. So the story isn’t over yet.

    • Andrew is still in the line of succession, because the King wanted Beatrice and Eugenie and their children to remain in the line of succession.

In order for him to legally be taken out of the line of succession, and have his titles removed, he has to be found guilty of tr3ason. And then Parliament and the Parliaments of the 14 realms have to vote on this and pass it into law.

The interesting part about this is that by removing Andrew’s rank of Prince, the King is inviting Parliament to do just this.

There is one problem with this, and that is, that the Tr3ason Act concerns the unaliving of the monarch, the attempted unaliving of the monarch and the plotting and conspiring to unalive the monarch.

It also is tr3ason to have carnal relations with the Monarch’s Consort or the Monarch’s daughter. And none of those things has Andrew done. So in order for Andrew to be found guilty of tr3ason, the actual law woukd have to change to include other laws like 3spionage and Fraud. And one of these would have to include – attempting to include children in the line of succession children who have no business being there, which would be fraud.

And I have included the previous bit not because, it applies to Andrew but because Harry and Meghan have never ever supplied the monarch with irrefutable evidence or witnesses to their children’s births. And the fact that the late Queen had Archie’s birth records sealed. Which is the law when it concerns a child that has been adopted or born of surrogacy. So I feel fraud has been committed and not just by Harry and Meghan, but by the late Queen and the present King. And that is fraud against the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. And this is a serious enough problem to force the King to reveal these records and to force Harry and Meghan to prove beyond irrefutable doubt that these children are born of Meghan’s body. And DNA will have to be taken from all 4 of them in order to back up all presented evidence and witnesses. And Parliament would have to vote through another law that gives a time limit for when evidence and witnesses to the child concerned has to be produced. Over 6 years for Archie and over 2 or 3 years for Lilibet.

Of course for Andrew, it is less about VG and more about what he might have been forced to do through blackmail or financial greed. And with Alleged spies calling all the shots. That too is serious, serious enough for the late Queen to strip Andrew if his HRH status. Because with HRH come the IPP status and that doesn’t just concern his protection and security all over the world. It would also give him unlimited access to sensitive intelligence.

This is something that only the monarch can give or remove. And the IPP status is the one thing that Harry has been fighting tooth and nail to get the Home Office and the judicial courts to return. Yet none of them have that power. And the way things stand, it is just as well.

      • Rubbish! If they wanted to remove Andrew from the line of succession he can remove himself and the positions of his daughters and grandchildren remain (see Prince Michael of Kent and Lord Nicholas Windsor both of whom removed themselves from the line of succession when marrying catholics)

  8. I’m particularly interested/concerned in the comments in the earlier articles about Tr Uranus being square Andrew’s Piscean Sun.

Both my parents, my brother and I have our Suns in either late Pisces or late Virgo. So tr Uranus will be going square all of them in 5-6 years time. And it terrifies me, given the devastation it has wrought in Andrew’s case.

I would like to hear other people’s experience of tr Uranus square their Sun and the impact it had on their lives. Hopefully they are not as devastating.

    • I have endured two Uranus square Sun aspects, one in 1962-63 and the other in 2005. Neither was terrible but I do have Uranus almost exactly trine my natal Sun which probably helps.

      • Thank you for that. That does give me some relief, as my Sun-Uranus is also a trine, in a Water Grand Trine with Jupiter. I’ll have to check the charts of my parents and brother on whether natal Uranus and Sun have any aspects.

      • That is very interesting. Could I request you to check tr Pluto at the time of your emigration?

My emigration took place about the same time that Pluto was almost exactly conjunct my descendant. Others on this site pointed out that it is more likely because Pluto would have been square the IC/home at the same time as well. Tr Uranus was just in the same sign as my natal Sun, but not otherwise directly aspecting it.

        • Uranus square my Sun was fine. The ‘distance’ GD mentions did occur, and I thought quite a lot about some relationships and connections in the past – reviewing them in a way I suppose. It was transiting in my 11th house, Sun ruling the 3rd. I did have extremely disruptive neighbours during the transit, which was pretty stressful. However, I also made some new (quite eccentric) friends, and those friendships continue to be happy ones.
I wonder if it’s worth looking at the Uranus in Pisces transit when it would have aspected those late Virgo and Pisces degrees you mention? Roughly 2009-10 era? There could be a theme or resonance.

        • I checked. On the day of moving Pluto was squaring my natal Uranus and opposing my natal Chiron, but these aspects were not exact, the natal Sun-transit Uranus was.

      • I have my Cancer Sun in 7th in a T square to Mars opp Jupiter. So the 2 transit Uranus squares were first, age 16, on Jupiter and then second, age 57, on Mars. Certainly, each transit brought very unexpected situations TO me…. a sudden move at 16 and a sudden ending of a deep friendship.

However, as per Uranus being about one’s individuation, each of these difficult times also opened up a whole new part of me!! And so, I see both those Uranus square Sun transits as very positive. The loss of that friendship was terribly difficult, but necessary for my own growth… I see that in hindsight! I do have natal Uranus conjunct natal Mercury so my approach to life is quite Uranian.

I’ve had a lot of Pluto transits and SA progressions…. those are way more challenging! 🙂

        all the best!!

    • Nothing notable changed in my life – I just had the 3rd and final hit of Uranus transit square my Sun earlier this year; in fact Uranus has been making transits to six planets in my chart. I do have some Uranian features in my chart though.

If I scrabble around for effects I’d say I’ve become a little more distant from other people – they don’t seem to ask as much of me and I’m quite happy to let it be like that and my independence. New neighbours because the moon got hit and Cancer rules my 3rd house.

    • Unmystic, in 2021 when Uranus in Taurus squared my Aquarius sun, I downsized from a house to a condo. It was a welcome move and the realtor commented that the experience was not typical because it all occurred quickly.

      • Hi. We moved from a small condo to a much larger house with acreage at that time. My husband is an early Aq sun. We scored an amazing interest rate and a much reduced sale price.

    • I had transiting Uranus square natal Sun in 1980/81. The first ‘hit’ coincided with moving to a wonderful new house; although the weather was dreadful! I am now in the midst of another 3, but nothing of any significance happened this time on the first transit. I will have to wait until 2026 for the other two.

    • To be remembered: Not everyone reacts to the same influences in the same way. Uranian types find transiting Uranus hard aspects easier to handle. Ditto Saturnine types with Saturn aspects.
Also influences don’t come singly – there are usually other forces in play. In Andrew’s case since this is a once-in-a-lifetime gamechanger I would look more to his wayward yod which has Progressed Mars rattling up one leg conjunct his 8th house Mercury – and that is more what you might expect. And the other leg of his yod has Solar Arc Neptune conjunct the Saturn – so his life trajectory is being upended and undermined.
Uranus hard aspect to the Sun comes round at least three times in a life so while significant are not cataclysmic..

    • Each person will have a different experience. Uranus was conjunct my natal Saturn in Aries 5th house and squaring natal Sun/Merc in Capricorn 2nd when my father was killed in a car accident. Although it was shocking (obviously), it changed my life in a good way. As I stood at my father’s open casket I finally ‘understood’ the expression ‘you can’t take it with you when you go’. My father had been an ambitious, good earner with a strong ethic. Uranus liberated something huge in me and from that day on I chose not to ever stress about deadlines and work-related things again.
