  1. @Linda, this is different. While the execution was horrible, Afganistan withdrawl was long time coming and had a strong bipartisan support.

Now, the US is NOT a direct party in Ukraine war, and large majority of the US population is supportive of Ukraine.

I think that currently there’s a lot of shock and awe due to Trump Administration directly attacking allies and institution. Obviously, there are people who saw it coming, but the vast majority tried to rationalize things, as is the human nature. As said before in other threads, I have no doubt things will change FAST when Neptune leaves Pisces for Aries. This happened in 1861 too, with the US Civil War starting the day after.

  2. The way the USA has turned on Zelensky is highly disturbing.
The nasty and sudden attack is damaging the USAs reputation as a reliable ally.
Marjorie, would you please do a peice on the USAs transits right now? Thanks.

  3. Something new abt Trump’s actions to consider. He has authorized unarmed drone flights over Mexico to track cartel movements.

Looking back to the Cold War, what happened when US surveillance flights drifted into Soviet territory? Boom, boom. Plane no more.

Does anyone believe that Mexico will sit idly while US military (albeit unarmed) flies assets over Mexican sovereign territory?

What would Trump do if Mexican drones began surveillance flights over US territory?

    • @El Aznar, thank you for asking, and yes, I actually did, 3 nights. I didn’t have a clear favourite this year but enjoyed most songs. I like the fact a young artist wan. Olly is a May 3rd 2001 Taurus Sun, and you can actually tell by the looks. Interestingly, he was born just a couple of months before the infamous G8 meeting (July 20th-22nd). It’s still not certain if he’ll go to ESC, he is touring in May. I also liked Lucio Corsi who came second and might go to Basel, although he seems a more fragile character, although born October 15th 1993 he is just about a week older than our Jere Pyöhönen aka Käärijä, who has become an ESC powerhouse everybody wants to collaborate with. His “Nel blù dipinto di blù” performed with Topo Gigio, a mouse puppet that first appeared in TV in the 1960’s was amazing.

Sadly, Tuesday February 11th appearance of Pope Francis may be the last one we’ll see of him on TV, he was taken to hospital soon after, and seems to have a bilateral pneumonia. This is very often how older, otherwise relatively healthy people leave us.

      • Thank you. I actually like the winning song and don’t know how to properly articulate that I loved Giorgia maybe even more, much more, but somehow to me she is above 1st place, so it didn’t maybe matter all that much that she didn’t win. I remember her even back when she was singing Di sole e d’azzuro, and that was when I was much more cross she didn’t win. You can perhaps really see her Taurus Sun, Jupiter–Neptune on her ascendant, but maybe less the Venus in Aries? I often wonder what in the sky announces a winner. E.g. when there is a big football competition as well.

And I wondered how much the chart for the opening of the show determines what it will be like. This one was almost unanimously loved, I believe. And maybe there is something in the heavens to account for that.

        P. S. I also loved Noemi, Da Vinci–The Kolors duet, even Cuoricini. And there were a few others, but I’d have to re-listen. The whole time I was a bit stunned and wondered how a festival that was written off and had a really bad few years before Amadeus, I believe, got back, when it is thought of as something so ancient for the young of today.

        • @El Aznar, Giorgia had a great song. Not as good as “Di sole e di azzurro”, but much better than the one 2 years ago.

And yes, it ran without glitches, so much so I missed chaotic energy of Amadeus. My favourite moments were at Duet Night with Roberto Benigni, he has a way to punch up people he punches just have to laugh, too, Geppi Cucciari and flow charts and Mahmood, who I discovered is just not an amazing singer, songwriter, performer and fashion icon, but also funny, last year.

I definitely needed all the silliness in my life, and will be very invested in the ESC season, right now it seems we will get a split screen between Finland and Sweden like two years ago, with a previous winner (Måns Zelmerlöv) and an out of box Finn (Erika Vikman, related to the most famous clairvoyant in Finnish history, I think her 1st cousin twice removed).

  4. Just an aside, I received my copy of Anthony Louis’ Solar Returns book a couple of days ago. Realising that I don’t understand how to get to the natal potential of a chart to be able to figure out what the SR means, so work to do there.

But a couple of minor synchronicities popping up from the first couple of famous example charts were Jodi Rell – who is born a couple of days after Donald Trump (who had prompted the SR blogposts). And then yesterday afternoon reading about Pope Benedict XVI which led me to read up a little more on him and his successor Pope Francis. Then last night I see the Vatican announcing the Pope Francis is struggling with double pneumonia.

    • ‘ I don’t understand how to get to the natal potential of a chart to be able to figure out what the SR means’ do you mean synthesising all the various parts of the chart into a cohesive whole? The Tracy Marks book mentioned before is good if you can get it ‘The Art of Chart Interpretation’ I only pay attention to SR direct aspects to natal planets myself like transits

      • Thanks Marie. I’m probably have the skills but just reading the words on the pages too literally (Mercury in Virgo). I’m usually fairly good at synthesising info to create something more coherent. I need to read on …

        • You will like the Tracy Marks book if you have a Virgo Mercury, it works as a kind of ‘points’ system to sift out the most powerful aspects etc, stops it feeling overwhelming, then you can take the SR chart and look for conjunctions, oppositions and squares to personal planets and angles first then expand out. Good Luck 😀

  5. Dear Marjorie, would you take a look at Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia charts? Is there a sign of russian invasion or prorussian coups?

    • They laid off 300 more from FAA Air Traffic Control on Friday from the great American Government purge no one here is talking about. Expect more crashes. I personally am going to avoid flying for a while.

      • Musk and Starlink are reportedly taking over the FAA and ATC and are revamping it. Will probably be completely private in the future.

        • I don’t know, and I wish I did. The purge is still going on. Basically if you are on the list one day you come in and you are locked out of your computer. Started in earnest last week and is still ongoing.

The Doge know nothing about flying planes or bringing planes in on final approach. I personally plan to avoid flying if at all possible.

          • Well, it is not the end of the US by any means. Please do not panic. Others will tap into that frenzy.

The movie “Empire of the Sun” comes to mind. One of the protagonists says something like “the worst times are always at the start and end of a conflict.”

Our president believes he is doing what he feels is best for HIS country. But he is not my president. Did not vote for him either time. The thought occured to me earlier today while driving: he is draining the swamp…but what’cha gonna do with all the swamp land? 😉

        • There are really great Reddit threads where all this is being discussed. I am still trying to suss out the truth on the ground. I called my Fed Friday AM to tell her to find me on Linked In if she was let go Friday afternoon. Checked this AM – she is still there. Careful what you post on that Reddit thread as Doge and Musk minions and Voight minions lurk to see what the Feds are saying, so use good OpSec.

I lurk only – I do not post.

Reddit has been a welcome surprise for me. Never before January 2025 was I on it.

  6. There is little or nothing to be read in the Daily Mail, especially since Mr Trump was elected as POTUS the Walrus. However to discover the shenanigans within Labour, Dan Hodges’ weekly column shines a fierce light on the Starmer cabinet using his contacts within the upper echelons of the party. He paints a picture of exasperation among the leaderette’s fellow cabinet members who are forced to defend the inanities emerging from this government. In light of this ministerial disarray, the removal of the Baron of Foy to the tender embrace of our new born again Christians across the pond makes a great deal of sense.

Perhaps we should look at more realistic alternatives for our legal eagle to lead this glorious realm to the sunny uplands that beckons. Two names I could suggest are Andy Burnham and David Milliband. Perhaps you could look at their political prospects from an astrological perspective.

  7. Dear Marjorie, apropos your two recent posts on the US, you may find Warren Buffet’s portfolio movements interesting. Over half of the balance sheet of Berkshire Hathaway comprises cash. Traditionally Mr Buffet avoids large cash balances. In addition, he is in the process of selling down his stock holdings in Apple and Bank of America. I suggest the Sage of Omaha is more attune with economic and financial events than the the gentleman in Mar-a-Lago surrounded by his geniuses. Not forgetting his svengali.

Perhaps Mr Buffet secretly follows your posts. If so I would ask for royalties.

    • Warren Buffett is not a happy man for the next two years after tr Neptune moves into Aries – but he is 90 so could be other factors than the global financial situation

      • @Marjorie, him, the original Far Right boogeyman George Soros, and Rupert Murdoch are all past the age of being really really interested in this. They have enough money to know their descendants are taken care of (if they care).

What I personally find interesting is that Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm has sold over 100 million US$ worth of Tesla stock in the last months – 50 mil last year, more this year. This is a considerable amount considering Tesla management and board has a compensation program amounting to a billion, according to a Forbes article I found. It is almost as she knew something. She is a May 27th 1961 Gemini Sun, so certainly looking for a retirement. But that stock would be hers anyway. She is an Australian with some background in traditional auto industry with Toyota, so easy for me to see why she’d divest now.

  8. Hi. Would you please look at Bo Burnham? He rose to prominence as a 16 year old via YouTube. What transits -I wonder to do with such fame so early (and still continuing)? He has so much staying power. His critiques of social media have been described as parasocial. Thought he would be a Leo considering his online success and his hairstyle but he’s a Virgo. Some of his comedy is so insightful. He says he now regrets some material from when he was a teen. Also, if so inclined, please look at his synastry with his Grammy winning girlfriend, Phoebe Bridgers (she is also popular). Wondering if Bo has similarities with Oscar Wilde, D. Parker, Gore Vidal or similar. Thanks!

  9. Dear Marjorie, I wonder if you could do a piece on Net Zero targets in the UK. The Climate Change Act 2008 received the Royal Assent on November 26, 2008. This was subsequently amended by Climate Change Act 2008 (2050 Target Amendment) Order 2019, which came into force on 27 June 2019.

I have raised this because of a piece on YahooFinance over the weekend stating parts of the the UK Chemical industry are bordering on a state of financial collapse due to the high energy costs. In addition, the Chemical Industries Association published a report in January stating that the UK industry is entering a state of steady decline as a result of high energy costs.

  10. Marjorie, from the post on Elon Musk:

“Tr Uranus moving into Gemini will alter his trajectory considerably -initially with a lucky break from tr Uranus opposition his Jupiter in May and late in the year, though since it is tied into his Neptune it could blow up a scandal caused by his instability through midyear and into 2026 as it moves to conjunct his Saturn.”

Apparently, Musk just told he’d take time off posting to X to work on Grog. This happened after an antitrans activist Ashley St. Clair came out as a mother of a previously unknown baby and Musk responded to a poster telling that Ashley had heen after him with for years with a “wow”. Ashley then responded she’d been trying to reach out to Musk for some time to have underwear pictures of her taken while she was a minor of the site.

While this isn’t likely THE scandal, it has elements that I think might come to play later.

  11. Hi Majorie
I have read that the sign of cancer people rely more on emotions than their brains. Which astrology sign relies on their brain than emotion?

      • @Caroline, yes, while Virgo is a mutable sign ruled by Mercury too, it is Earth. Virgo is very “think on your feet” type of sign.

        • I can’t speak for all Virgos but I’m a Virgo sun/Cancer moon and I often feel torn between my emotions and mental faculties in a really intense way. However, if you asked people around me to describe me, they’d say I come off as very pragmatic and relatively solid, which actually surprises even me. So that Virgo sun really does filter my emotions out into reality in a practical way.

    • Generally speaking fire and water are emotional/subjective; earth and air rely on objective and suppress emotion. Mercury=thinking capabilities, moon=emotional response.

  12. Could you explain how to look at our charts and understand our shadow sides and I found that idea you mentioned that charts show us what they want us to live up to- well you may have expressed it differently but if we take our striving and ego out of it how do we read a chart as a path to live up to?

    • My understanding is the chart will not tell you about the soul, or the level of evolution of the personality. The same birth details will produce one individual rooted in the under-developed, negative end of the planets and signs and another individual with the same chart will make the most of them.
I don’t think you can take the ego or the striving out of the equation but in that paradoxical way of life you also need to be able to do the opposite – and embrace acceptance of what you cannot change and be with the suffering or whatever.
The shadow is what is unconscious so difficult to understand at a rational level though can usually be encompassed by the seven deadly sins – greed, lust, envy, anger etc. Stop being a people pleaser and own up to the nasty sides of yourself.
There is a truth in Kochunas’ thought – without the shadow there is no substance. What you most dislike about yourself may well be your strength.

  13. Hi Marjorie, I’ve asked this before so please forgive me for pestering but with your three mentions of BML in the Tradwives post alone, I’m very much hoping you would consider doing a post on Black Moon Lilith. Two of the women you listed have oppositions to BML while the third has a conjunction between BML and Pluto. How does BML lead to anger/repressed anger issues, and is it that repressed anger that is then showing up in this desire for these women to sell themselves out to their husbands? (my words, not yours). If it means anything, I have an 8th H stellium incl my BML which is square my N Node and my Venus Merc CJ. Just trying to understand all her complexities….

      • Re. Argentina’s Milei post from January 7th:

“His own chart, 22 October 1970, will not appreciate tr Neptune and tr Saturn opposing his Pluto Mars conjunction from early 2025 throughout the year, inducing a degree of panic as the failure of certain plans looms large.”

Apparently he promoted a meme crypto called LIBRA that crashed and took the savings of many small business owners. He now denies any involvement with this *conveniently* named product. Not only, it seems MELANIA has ties to this crypto. I am not a specialist in the matter myself, but the links ti this site I quote are from a traditional business analyst who has been following crypto since the inception:

        https://coinpedia.org/news/libra-token-crashes-85-after-mileis-promotion-insiders-cash-out-millions/

    • Hi Ava, BML eludes me a little as well, despite it being conjunct my moon (my mum has the same aspect). I had a look at celebs with BML very closely conjunct AC, quite a mixed bunch – Marilyn Monroe, Prince William, Natalie Portman, Pablo Picasso, Lily Rose Depp, Marie Curie. I wondered about especially influential mothers in their lives. I didn’t consider the sign BML was in. Tom Jacobs has some old videos on YouTube that might interest you. Interested to hear Marjorie’s take too.

    • The difference between the mean BML (which seems to have more usage – Martha refers to it a lot) and true BML can be significant as their calculations vary. David Lynch, for example, has mean BML in Scorpio conjunct Asc. which seems very apt.
