Hi Marjorie, could you have a look at Boris Johnson’s chart over the next few years? I know you did this not too long ago but thing move fast in politics nowadays so worth another look I think.
Thanks
Elon Musk announced his official exit from DOGE this week, citing Trump’s “big, beautiful” tax bill as the reason. This departure was, of course, more or less expected.
What was less expected, maybe, was Stephen Miller completely losing it and angrily subtweeting Musk on X. He also went on a long rant on Trump’s Truth Social Account, distinguishable from the real Trump from a phrase “thank you for your attention to the matter” I think he is using passive aggressively to make it known it was actually him tweeting.
Apparently, Katie Miller, who is a DOGE comms liaise, is going to leave WH sphere to work for Musk. “Wired”, which has done stellar job on covering DOGE, had an article on how Millers were supposed “reigning” Musk during the early weeks of the Admin, and it seems a the Washington gossip speaks of a “Trouple” situation. Which I won’t judge (hello, Venus/Uranus in Scorpio), but which might lead to all kind of messy situation when at least two of the parties have emotional intelligence of a toddler.
From the post on Stephen Miller’s May 11th, he has Solar Arch Pluto conjunct Natal Moon, likely not an indicator of a great emotional form.
Such intrigue regarding the Miller/Musk story. What is it about Venus in aspect to Uranus? Long before I married him, my husband was once in a ‘throuple’! He has T Square of Uranus opposite Jupiter on Venus in Pisces as well as a Yod!
Thinking about ‘ghost’ charts for historical individuals (thanks VF), I had a brief random look at two women who are in the foreground at the moment – Jane Austen, and artist and occultist, Ithell Colquhoun. Jane A is obviously very famous anyway, but it is her 250th anniversary year. Ithell Colquhoun is not widely famous, but has a big exhibition of her work coming to Tate Britain this summer.
Jane Austen, Sun 24 Sagittarius, Asc 24 Virgo with Neptune conjunct. Just had a Jupiter return at 12 Gemini.
Ithell Colquhoun, Libra, has Pluto 23 Gemini, Moon 29 Gemini, with her Jupiter 10 Cancer conjunct Neptune 12 Cancer square 15 Libran Sun. Tr Jupiter returns in July. The tr Nodes are now around 24 Pisces – highlighting these charts in some way? Tr Saturn in Pisces has aspected their charts, and some of this will have been during the hard work and preparations for this year’s enhanced visibility.
Thanks Jane. Yes, I agree with you about ghost charts. It’s interesting that Hilma Af Klint’s revival coincided with her Neptune return at 1 Aries for example. I make note too of actors who play famous individuals, not only are there crossovers in their mutual natal astrologies, but also in terms of outer planet returns or important transits to the nodes of those individuals.
What started me off on this path was Rupert Everett playing Charles II in the movie Stage Beauty. Rupert Everett, 29 May 1959, Charles II 29 May 1630!
“King Charles II: My astronomers tell me that a star’s light shines on long after it has died, even though it doesn’t know it.” from the script for Stage Beauty (2004)
I remember when Lanthimos’s ‘The Favourite’ was released – both Queen Anne and Olivia Coleman have Aquarian Suns and stelliums in Aquarius.
I just wanted to say how much your reading of Edna O’Brien and Jane’s comment (29.7.24) complemented the riveting documentary film Blue Road: The Edna O’Brien Story which I watched yesterday and to thank you. She was a stunning, mysterious, mystical, earthy woman with books to match. They blew me away. I devoured them then and shall now embark on rereading them. I wasn’t surprised to see all that Scorpio! Such a tangled web of passion and verve interlaced with pain and anguish. So intense. Strong stuff. Strong woman.
I am dying to see blue road…did you watch it on streaming?Edna O came up as my astro twin so I adore the woman. The love object can be read and reread 100 times.
I watched it at a Firstsite art gallery cinema, but I think it’s also playing in some Curzon cinemas. Maybe it will be added to their home cinema club. It’s a real gem. Enjoy!
Dear Marjorie,
Duolinguo, one of the world’s most downloaded learning app, founded in 2011 by Luis Van Ahn and Severin Hacker, is currently under extreme backlash from users against their “AI plan-First” with serious concern about potential job losses and declining quality product. Luis Van Ahn has declared that AI will likely take over teachers, going as far as saying that “schools are not going to go away because you still need childcare.”
Does pluto in Aquarius and uranus soon entering in Gemini confirm this? I am afraid this doesn’t bode well, with AI becoming more and more present, whether we like it or not…
What do you think? What’s in store in the future for Duolinguo and CEO ?
https://2hourlearning.com/ Mackenzie Price is on all the airwaves with her new model ( although I suspect she is the soft face chosen for the change which will be tsunami like.
Oh thank you for the link AC! So yes, I guess it’s already there…Just want to add that I am not totally against AI. There’s no denying that it will change our society forever and the educational model will be completely transformed in good and in bad ways. I used to learn japanese on Duolinguo for a long time and I have come to the conclusion that we don’t learn at all with it. It’s just a business model based on gamification… AI can bring a lot of improvement but there’s also a lot of greedy people.
Absolutely! I worked in a very big corporate last decade and all their training was based on gamification because it ‘is cheap and addictive’. So yes the key word you rightly brought up is gamification. Total immersion is the grail.
Does anybody know when was the first Sunday? I was reading yesterday that apparently Emperor Constantine was the one who somewhere in 530-something declared one day to be Sunday, a holiday, and before that the week in the Roman Empire was of eight days, and with Constantine’s decision it became a seven-day week.
But this seems so random?!?
I ask because yesterday I bumped onto an issue of whether the planetary hours in Vedic astrology, the horas, and which are now the same as in the West, are calculated properly. Because e.g. we don’t know if today is Wednesday. It could be. Or it might not.
In general, with Kali Yuga in play, there is a lot of calendar chaos and so many astrological calculations are up in the air and very, very debatable.
Everything is a coin’s toss.
This then puts a whole lot of stuff into question.
Just a comment about coming economic turbulence everywhere; I listened to a very interesting programme that posited:
-Boomers have nearly all retired-worldwide-the largest generation, taken their savings and investments, liquidised them which has resulted in
-Bond markets forever changed and having to reinvent themselves for younger generations (a 30 year govt bond hahaha they say)
-What is coming is unknowable as it is the first time this has happened with this magnitude.
Retired people don’t liquidate their assets. Stuffing cash under the mattress isn’t a Boomer concept. They may stop adding to a portfolio — if they have one, as they no longer work.
A lot of wealth is tied up in real estate, but a lot of people I know in their 70’s and 80’s are still living in their homes and have no plans of selling. Their children will inherit and then the property may be sold, which would actually assist in the propblem of a current housing shortage.
Most people i know have downsized post covid, cashed in their fixed income portfolios and are living on the proceeds of both. A very popular read on retirement sites is sensibly ‘Die with zero’. Inheritance tax will be so punitive there is little incentive to leave much and the spending of funds while you are alive makes more sense.
I recently saw an article on year 536, being the start of years of worldwide suffering – due to one or two immense volcanic eruptions. What was going on in the heavens those years. Many articles on 536 if you google, including a wikipedia article.
There was a Uranus opposition Neptune in 536 which is earthquake/natural disaster prone – there was one in the early 20th Century when the big San Francisco quake happened. But the astrology was nothing like as horrific as the century before.

I wonder what Marjorie’s thoughts are on Liverpool FC chart and the trail of incidents that have impacted the club over the years, particularly regarding the recent events at Mondays victory parade. The club was founded on 3 June 1982 with the Sun at 13 Gemini sextile Chiron and a Neptune/Pluto conjunction at 8 Gemini. Saturn at 23 Virgo is conjunct the Moon. Chiron at 14 Leo opposes Mars at 11 Aquarius and squares the NN at 16 Taurus. Uranus is retrograde at 2 Scorpio, Venus at 22 Cancer, Jupiter at 17 Aries and Mercury at 24 Taurus. A quick look at the charts shows it was activated on Monday by planetary transits and previously at the time of the Heysel and Hillsborough disasters. The 11 Aquarius Liverpool FC natal Mars also seems to trigger the Mars in the U.K. 1801 chart which is under stress from its own SA Uranus at the moment. In one way or another this club seems to impact the nation more than most of the other teams in the English football league.
What a very interesting post Hugh. The shocking event in Liverpool on Monday seemed to echo tragic events from the past that affect the nation as a whole. You prompted me to look at the ancient planetary line-up for Liverpool, 28th August, 1207. It’s about to have a Neptune return, with natal Neptune at 2 Aries – somehow appropriate for a great port city, site of so many migrants sailing from there in the hope of a fresh start.
Pluto was 8 Leo in August 1207, so opposing UK 1066 Mars in Aquarius and squaring UK 1801 Mars in Taurus and the Liverpool FC natal Mars. Liverpool FC’s colour is red, the colour associated with Mars and Aries. The Liverpool 1207 Mars was 1 Scorpio, a sign once ruled by Mars, possibly underlining its strength here? Tr Uranus is currently square the 1207 Uranus, 27 Leo.
The shooting of a wild, white stag in Bootle, Merseyside, back in 2021 also sprang to mind as a symbolic and upsetting moment that seemed very significant and unsettling.
Jane. Very interesting comments about Liverpool’s history. The killing of that white stag by the police was both shocking and ill omened.
Jane, apologies for being off topic, but there is a documentary on channel 4 tonight about an artist you introduced me to here, Claude Cabun and her courageous resistance against the Nazis while living on the occupied Channel Islands. I had a look at her astrology and a very interesting chart it is, with her 29 degree Virgo Ascendant and Chiron rising in the 1st and an 8th house Aries Mars.
Thanks VF, I’m pleased to see Claude emerge on TV! Had a look at her chart on astro.com and see what you mean. I play around with ‘ghost’ charts sometimes, and see that Jupiter approches her MC before its return, and Saturn is coming up into her 7th – maybe a time of more visibility for her? Nodes 29 Pisces/Virgo perhaps chimes in with their path this year?
The facts appear to be that the perpetrator of the incident is a company director in his 50’s, a father of three, who was under the influence of drugs. Thank God no fatalities and those remaining in hospital are said to be recovering. Horrid as it was, does it really warrant being described as a disaster?
No one was describing this as a disaster I was drawing the astrological links to the Liverpool FC chart which was also prominent in the events at Heysel and Hillsborough which most definitely had disastrous consequences for those involved. In addition there are quite a few questions to be asked about the duration and size of Sundays victory parade where it was clear the stewards and police had difficulty controlling the traffic and the crowds. The fact that such parades have passed off without incident in the past does not mean there was not a potential for tragedy. Sheffield had held many FA Cup semi finals without incident before the Hillsborough tragedy in 1978.
Apologies that should be Hillsborough 1989
Hi Marjorie
Does astrology indicate divorce for President Macron & Brigitte ?
Hi Marjorie,
I started a new job this year for which I interviewed back in October 2024 and was offered the role on the same day. I signed the contract in November. My first day of joining was in February 2025.
Which date should I consider out of the above three for the purpose of chart for the new job?
Thanks
I’ve had this dilemma: contact signing out first official day of work work hours start?
Good grief. Contract signing or first official… My keyboard had give berserk.
I have checked the search and there is one composite of Macron and Brigitte but the footage from the airplane looks bad. To me there is zero place for that but I would be interested to see if the chart sheds any light on their dynamic.
Tete a claques should not mess with a Sun, Venus, Moon in Aries.
Actress June Squibb, age 95 and still working. Most recently starring in Thelma (2024) and Eleanor the Great (2025).
Thelma was a delightful little movie, imo. Squibb was charming and perfect for the role.
Can you check Sarah Silverman ? I didn’t look at her chart but I looked at her dad and granddad ( just day no time ) . She said her grandad killed her baby brother and that he was aggressive to her father . She had a new Netflix show .
Alan Yentob has died, aged 78. He was a Piscean, 11th March 1947 birn in Stepney, London.
That is sad, he is quite young.
And the great Feminist Susan Brownmiller who wrote the incredibly influential Against Our Will: Men, Women and Rape” died yesterday at 90.
Marina, forgive my limited knowledge, but I didn’t know much about Susan Brownmiller, so thank you for introducing me to her and her book, ‘Against Our Will’.
Just for any additional thoughts by others: I utilized generational astrology (Pluto’s and Neptune’s signs) for demographic profiling in the past — really very helpful. My thoughts always go to that concept when I look at the disconnect between ancient members of both parties in the US. The old demographic attachments to improving the lives of the underprivileged on the Democratic (Pluto in Cancer) side doesn’t at all match up with today’s selfie-culture.
The Republican’s seem to have captured the Pluto in Leo (winner takes all) concepts (and The Donald is a member) which resonates more. However, Pluto in Virgo is a whole different thing (all the tech bros).
I haven’t matched up the charts of other world leaders, but it might be an interesting dive.
How would you qualify the others – in Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius…?
A lot of the tech bros are Pluto in Libra. Libra is ruled by Venus and they had a big hand in upsetting financial markets — PayPal (Elon), Crypto, etc. and marketplaces (Amazon, online shopping as a whole).
I, too, am intrigued by the sign generations of Pluto and how it manifests.
Given that my Pluto is at 0 Virgo and that nearly all of my friends and husband have Pluto in Leo…it is incredibly obvious! Honestly?.. I’ve had to work a lot on my Envious Sandra, that’s for sure!!
I feel like us late 1958, 1959 babies are the very early Gen X generation, even though the Baby Boomers are listed as ending around 1965 ish. One older male friend once described it as we “got the short end of the stick”…. Virgo is all about buckling down, use the elbow grease and just get to work. Us early babies DID get some of the benefic dribbles…. I received a small monthly government income to attend a technical school. But definitely a sort of held back, work hard, catch the tail end of whatever experience!
I am very interested in the mini generation that has Pluto/Uranus conjunct in Virgo.
Our new Canadian PM, Mark Carney has this and he certainly seems like a work hard in the background way. A quality of “service”…. Pluto in Virgo has, I believe. However… stick that Uranus next to it and WOW!! I think of it as a conservative, hidden nuclear reactor!!
So noting that Pluto in Libra is in a lot of the tech bros charts… that is interesting! The dark side of Libra?…. power manipulating people??
Pluto in Cancer generation… my parents. Deep wounds in the home/family. The Depression. The War. Many of this generation are now in senior “homes” and, for my parents and for many others, it was a good experience!!…. both my parents were nurtured and coddled and waited on like young children… and they loved it! So those with this Pluto placement caring for “the other” through government policies. Yay.
My Pluto in Leo friends… (I want what I want when I want it!…. globalization?)..… no way are they interested in these senior homes. They are creatively designing their old age in very unique ways. AND their deaths, too!
I’m going to play around with this some more!!
thanks!
I’m an early 1960s baby and most definitely Gen X. I don’t identify with the boomer generation at all.
Hi Majorie,
I am interested in Frantz Fanon’s horoscope. Also in comparison to his contemporaries who may have lead revolutionary struggles in tune with – or in opposition to his ideology.
Have add a paragraph to the Algeria France post below.
Jane Fonda has stepped out at Cannes epitomising elegance. Great posture, hair and spirit.
Her chart shows she is going through her 3rd saturn return, exact (late Pisces) . Any thoughts Marjorie for Jane/ others, experiencing similar third returns?
Hi Marjorie, could you have a look at Boris Johnson’s chart over the next few years? I know you did this not too long ago but thing move fast in politics nowadays so worth another look I think.

Perfect. Thank You

Jane Fonda has stepped out at Cannes epitomising elegance. Great posture, hair and spirit.
Her chart shows she is going through her 3rd saturn return, exact (late Pisces) . Any thoughts Marjorie for Jane/ others, experiencing similar third returns?
