Just an observation – I think the double white ‘W’ logo on Mark Carney’s red hoodie in today’s photos is reminiscent of the zig-zag glyph for Aquarius.

Thinking about the massive electrical outage in Spain and Portugal today, it’s interesting to see this from Marjorie in November 2024:
“Tr Uranus moves on to oppose the Spain Sun later in 2025 into 2026 so major changes in the country’s direction will be unavoidable. Followed by tr Pluto opposition the Spain Saturn and square the Uranus between 2024 and 2027 bring a series of jolting events and a prompt to alter Spain’s attitudes and expectations. Tr Saturn Neptune into Aries just before mid 2025 and on into 2026 will square the Spanish Mars for another image and confidence dent.”
The current Mars in Leo opposing Pluto in electrical Aquarius sets off the Spanish Saturn and Uranus, and is right across the ascendant/descendant too. So far, nobody seems to know what’s caused the chaos.

And yes, it is interesting about the Mars/Pluto opposition and how it ties into Spain. I would also like to draw your attention to the spirng of 1941, when this opposition/t-square was flipped – so Pluto in early Leo, Mars in early Aquarius and BML in early Taurus. I think this coincided with the last surge of the Blitz and unlike what happened in Spain, this was a rolling series of the power supply cuts to major cities, rather than the whole country all at once. I read somewhere that what happened in 1941 Blitz heavily influenced the Electricity Act of 1947 and the nationalisation the entire electricity supply industry, to centralise it further. The UK national grid, initially built in the 1930s as a basic backbone, was then upgraded and extended post-1947. Localisation was seen as a weakness of the grid then, in contrast to the situation in Spain where more localised microgrids are being offered as the solution.

Fall of Berlin wall 8th Nov 1989. Saturn was at 10 Capricorn 2 conjunct Neptune at 10 Capricorn 15.
I can’t work out why Russia is so sensitive to Saturn-Neptune conjunctions. And whether the upcoming Saturn-Neptune conjunction will affect them. Any thoughts?
Neptune in Aries tends to usher in child monarchs in England.
King Richard II became king at age 10 on 21st June 1377. Neptune was at 17 Aries 38.
King Edward VI became king at age 9 on 28th January 1547. Neptune was at 27 Aries 5.
Queen Victoria became queen at age 18 on 20th June 1837. Neptune was at 7 Aquarius 48, but Pluto was at 16 Aries 47.
So 16 to 27 Aries seems to be sensitive.
The only thing I can connect it to in the England 1066 chart is the Ascendant at 22 Aries. But why would the activation of the ascendant indicate a young monarch?

What a sad end to a difficult story. Noting she transit Uranus is squaring her Leo Moon which is in exact trine with Sag Neptune. Likely many difficult feelings and truths coming into her consciousness in recent months that became too much.

I’m not sure if there’s a way to examine this astrologically, but if so, could you look at the growing tension between the judiciary and the executive branches of gov’t in the States? A sitting judge was just arrested for attempting to block the deportation of an immigrant which is just another escalation between the two sides. There’s a lot of political experts who are warning that it’s only a matter of time before Trump ignores the courts altogether and begins enacting his executive orders with or without their approval. Any insights on if/how this might play out?
I think the crucial questions are, what will be the day of his coronation and which of his sons will succeed him?
Will he be like William the Conqueror (or the Bastard, take your pick) and give different regions to different sons for them to govern?
I suspect many Americans will now be wishing that they had kept the US as a Commonwealth realm.

The boxing fight between the sons of Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank takes place this weekend promoted by Eddie Hearn (the son of Barry!). Intrigued by all these family dynamics and there is an added interest that Chris Jnr says he’s fallen out with his idiosyncratic father who thinks he’s a disgrace. I know they’re hyping it up to get viewers but astrologically this must be interesting for the nepotism etc

There is uncertainty whether the grid can now ever be reactivated reliably as a whole which would certainly indicate calamitous economic fallout.Power to France also failed briefly as they have a major grid interchange.
