  1. Marjorie, as we are drawing closer to July, would you mind doing a reading on Japan and possibility of an undersea earthquake. The date and time and even area had been marked out since like for 20 years. (based on a manga author Ryo Tatsuki). What is even interesting is that Hongkong astrologers (from some minor tabloid news source) have also issued warning about travelling after April. And all these will make July an interesting month since a number of country leaders are going to face stressed from previous articles.

  2. Hi Marjorie
Have you ever done anything on wonder drug Ozempic which appears to be effective for multiple issues. Strikes me as a very pluto in Aquarius / Uranus in Taurus invention.

    • It got FDA approval on 18 October 2017 which gives an entrepreneurial Fire Grand Trine of Saturn trine Uranus in Aries trine North Node in Leo, formed into a Kite by Uranus opposition Sun Jupiter – so no doubting it would be successful. Though Mars in Virgo opposition Scheat square Saturn might give one pause for thought.

    • There may well be other benefits to these drugs, they are finding through research. Ozempic/Wegovy contains semaglutide, which research suggests can have all kinds of other possible benefits such as in Type 2 diabetes, reducing blood sugar and increasing the production of insulin. Moreover, they’re finding that it can reduce the chance of stroke, heart attacks as well as dementia and Alzheimers. Perhaps the Mars/Saturn Square in the chart reflects the way in which the drug can limit appetite and with a Leo NN it’s something which will have massive appeal to those in showbiz or in the public eye. So, I think it has great potential. The problem is when celebrities such as Katie Price, et al who don’t actually need it use it unsupervised with quite shocking results. In any case, I think it’s wonderful for people who really struggle to lose weight, which many people do.

  3. Any thoughts on how things are looking for Mark Zuckerberg and what might happen during the Meta (Facebook) monopoly trial?

  4. Marjorie,

I think you might love this. On 7th April, as part of the Critic’s Notebook, The New York Times published an article titled “Could This Be the Funniest Book Ever Written?”, about J. P. Donleavy’s The Unexpurgated Code. It’s a great book it seems! (Also lewd: I think there are parts about orgies, masturbation, and voyeurism.) The article ends with a quote from a section of the booked named “Upon Encountering Happiness”: “Be wary at such times because most of life’s blows fall then.” LOL and ouch.

If you dig a bit about the book and the author, his long feud with Maurice Girodias (publisher also of Lolita) is fascinating, as well as connection to Ambrose Bierce and his The Devil’s Dictionary, and someone somewhere mentioned Parkinson’s law (by C. Northcote Parkinson).

    J. P. Donleavy was born on 23 April 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S., another Virgo Moon, I think.

  5. Christine Lagarde has announced the launch of the central bank digital euro in october 2025. the legislative process to mandate its use will commence as well.Is this going to herald a success for europe and european economies?

  6. The New York Times today on its front page has an article on The Pitt, a new hit TV show on HBO Max. It is a kind of ER for the modern age. And it has the same team of authors and at least one star shared.

As I was reading the article on the show, apparently the estate of Michael Crichton sued the authors, saying the show is an illicit reworking of a planned continuation of ER. The authors of The Pitt filed for the suit to be dismissed.

Then I read a bit about Michael Crichton, and he had a particular life: five marriages, over 200 cm tall, because of his height had not so nice experiences with fitting in during youth, so went to gurus and psychics for advice.

If you’re up to it, maybe an article on him would be englightening.

  7. hi Marjorie,
I have seen a number of video clips of Bernie Sanders speaking… from his early days and a recent interview, I believe, on CNN. He and AOC are travelling the USA, speaking out. Pretty much the only 2 who can as they are not funded by corporations…. only by small donations.

He is indefatigable. I checked your last posting for him… 2019. I see that now he is 2 degrees away from t. Pluto opposing his n. Pluto!! t. Uranus just crossed over his descendant. Transit Chiron is parked between his Moon/Mars conjunction in Aries. What stamina!

I have such admiration for this type of person… in spite of the endless idiocy that they have railed against for decades, there is still a need? desire? purpose? to work for decent change. That natal n. node flanked by his Sun and Neptune must help a lot.

It’s time for bed. .haven’t checked out AOC’s chart now.
    Maybe a synastry/composite of these 2?

    thank-you.

    • Transit Pluto opposing natal Pluto is fascinating as only a minority of people have the potential to experience this. Depending on when the native was born the Pluto opposition happens between around 85 to 124 years. If I live long enough, my generation will get this around age 86. Hope I’m compos mentis enough to know what’s going on if the time comes!

      • “Transit Pluto opposing natal Pluto is fascinating as only a minority of people have the potential to experience this.” Apologies, slightly confusing inaccuracy here. Pluto moves faster around one side of the Zodiac than the other, meaning a minority of generations within the cycle get the opportunity to experience Pluto Pluto oppositions.

        • I commented to similar effect recently that the United States ‘born in 1776’ with Pluto in late Capricorn didn’t experience its half return until the 1930s – 160years. In the 90yrs since it’s done the other half! The first half of they were relatively isolationist, then they started getting involved in everything around the world, now as they return to the first half they are moving back to isolationism. Maybe its coincidence

          • Thanks GD. Analyses of the the other planets at the exact dates of the various direct/retro aspects of the oppositions and conjunctions/returns may shed some light.

    • My mother has had Pluto opposition Pluto as well as a third Saturn Return!

But I do have a lot of respect for the venerable Mr.Sanders for his remarkable energy, passion and agelessness. Both he and AOC have been impressive. I have a soft spot for Jasmine Crockett too, since as well as her fighting spirit, she appears to have that very rare thing in politicians; integrity.

  8. Us Treasuries went up to 4.9% today in spite of Humpty Dumpty’s pause and gilts are now 5.4%. I wonder if you could look at the BOE and the Feds’ charts to see what your prognosis is. Failing that look at a start date for both gilts and Treasuries. I think a lot of commentators are concerned of major crashes in both markets. In addition, both the BOE and the Fed have introduced new liquidity measures to combat stress

    • I had tried looking for a start date for gilts and treasuries, but could not find one, only that by 1783, the US already had debts of $43 million (at the time, not current dollars) as it had taken over the debts of the states that were incurred during the Revolutionary War.

The seventh President, Andrew Jackson, one of Trump’s heroes managed to get the get the debt down to zero, but since then the US has always had outstanding debt.

So essentially the US has had debts (which gilts and Treasuries are a form of) since its inception. So I would suggest that the chart for US debt is essentially the same as the chart for the US.

    • The collapse of the roof at a nightclub in the Dominican Republic, killing 221, seems to have gone a bit under the radar. Any signifies?

      • There was also a horrifying fire in a disco club in Northern Macedonia, with a tragic number of casualties. Marjorie says a country tragedy is always a harbinger of something else significant to come soon.

  9. Lauren Sanchez has two big events coming up in her life: marrying billionaire Jeff Bezos (shades of Mrs Merton here: “what first attracted you to billionaire Jeff Bezos?), and being blasted into space in one of his rockets (unique wedding gift?). Does her chart reflect this at all? Internet gives her dob as 19 December 1969.

  10. With 45 minutes to go, on the last day of the UK parliament before the Easter break, Labour abandons their plans for five local inquiries of systemic Pakistani rape gangs.
