  1. I’m beginning to find myself in agreement with Marjorie with regards to the Presidential election: much of this likely mass hysteria.

I spent much of last week in panic mode and obsessing over what Trump, Vance, and Republicans might do once they take office. However, I remembered a study from Connell University that found that 85% of what we worry about usually doesn’t happen.

I have no delusions about who Donald Trump is as a person and what his objectives are. However, I’m beginning to think the worst of Trump’s agenda may not come to fruition.

For example, Trump is already disappointing (and even infuriating) some members of his base by offering Cabinet positions to more traditional (yet still very conservative) Republicans like Mike Waltz for Secretary of Defense (he’s very pro-Ukraine, pro-NATO, and pro-US-EU relations) and Marco Rubio for Secretary of State.

There’s been some news reports that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard (both of whom are known conspiracy theorists and isolationists and have favorable views of Vladimir Putin, Assad, and BRICS) are NOT happy about this.

Also, various psephologists have stated that Republicans are projected to only win the U.S. House of Representatives by 5 seats (less than what they have right now) and Donald Trump has already offered Cabinet positions and ambassador positions to 4 sitting Republican House Representatives. This will mean special elections (and some of these are swing districts) will inevitably take place…and Democrats tend to perform well in these special elections.

Anyway, I look forward to the future astrological write-ups here at Star4Cast.

Regardless of this election, I’m still looking forward to next year because I think next year will be a much better year (excluding the politics).

2024 has been a particularly challenging year for me because Uranus has been opposing my Saturn (and Saturn squares my Moon) so my mental health has been out of control (my depression, OCD, and anxiety have been through the roof). I’m looking forward to getting away from Uranus!

      • @ JB,

Yes, I just found out about that. However, knowing how on unpredictable Trump can be, there’s no guarantee it will be the FOX News host.

  2. In today’s news I heard a scientist calling the planet Uranus “weird”, which amused me. They are all very excited by discovering that previous NASA research was inaccurate:

“So, for 40 years we have had an incorrect view of what Uranus and its five largest moons are normally like, according to Dr William Dunn of University College London.

“These results suggest that the Uranian system could be much more exciting than previously thought. There could be moons there that could have the conditions that are necessary for life, they might have oceans that below the surface that could be teeming with fish!”. BBC website 11 November 2024

Uranus’ discovery chart, 13 March 1781, has Sun 23 Pisces square Mars 23 Sagittarius, and Uranus 24 Gemini. Last September’s 25 Pisces eclipse tunes into this, and today the Moon conjuncts the Discovery Sun, while traveller and information officer Jupiter in Gemini opposes the Discovery Saturn, 19 Sagittarius. Tr Uranus squares the 27 Leo MC. So perhaps these ‘discovery’ charts for the outer planets have something to tell us?

  3. Hi Marjorie, you have plenty to choose from here. Just to add to the list: Today I was surprised to learn that Charlie Chaplin and Adolf Hitler were born just four days apart. As we all know, both had a huge impact on the world and Chaplin’s satirical film The Great Dictator was a high point of his film-making career. A comparison of their charts would be interesting to see why the failed artist Hitler became a megalomaniac dictator and the successful artist Chaplin became a political commentator of sorts. It seems as though they were tied together in some way. Like Hilary Mantel and Henry VIII.

  4. Hi Marjorie,

It appears that Republican Senator Rick Scott here in Florida is receiving many endorsements to be the new U.S. Senate Majority Leader. Mitch McConnell will not be reseeding that role.

I was wondering if you might do a write up about this.

    • @Chris Romero, interesting times for Florida Senators, but I feel Scott lost momentum after Leon endorsed him, and that upset Thune loyalists. On the other hand, Rubio is now favored to become Secretary of State. I don’t think Trump wants to see two Florida politicians in such prominent roles, either.

  5. Marjorie, Thank you for the service you provide by allowing us, especially the Americans this cycle, to talk through things and to try to look at the bigger picture. It is so helpful. I am a student of history, and I know that humanity will go forward, but I do think the American era is ending. Yes we will still have a country, but the world landscape is changing, and the rest of the world will no longer be able to count on the Americans.

The Democrats are a “Big Tent Party” and it is a coalition of different factions, different ideas, different mindsets. It is not one thing. In our case, the progressives got very vocal, and those were the voices the media focused on. All these kids who have gone to Ivy League colleges took over as well, and they just knew better than the rest of the country, and there has been a focus on Trans, Gender, Immigrants with a lack of focus on the working class. I have been trying to raise the alarm on this in the small camps I was working with, but no one would listen to me. I hung out with the Dems in the red state I am currently living in, and some of the ideas coming out of their mouth was just too left for me. I do feel that much of the party not all has moved left of where I am. I cant say anything to folks on the left. I cant say anything to folks on the right, so I spend a lot of time keeping my mouth shut.

Dr Frances Fukuyama wrote a great opinion piece the day after the election for the Financial Times which I have printed out and saved. He talked about what has happened to the working class over the last 30 years. The big move from Classical Liberalism (FDR where I am), to Neo Liberalism, to beyond. It is worth the read. Morning Joe, with Mike Bryzenski, did a great after action as to what happened the day after the election.

By focusing on special interests and identity politics, the Dems have lost the ball and lost the election. They forgot the bigger picture. Bernie Sanders is upset.

This Trans thing is a stupid hill to fight and die on when a Constitutional Republic is at stake.

The Dems lost the working class.

There is serious Shaudenfraud going on in some circles, where the working class voting block is beginning to understand that their healthcare is at stake, government programs is at stake, their jobs will experience layoffs (it is starting) because they are waking up from that mis-information bubble they were living in.

So maybe the country will break up a bit. I don’t know. Nothing like the last civil war which my family still talks about (which was awful for us). Just maybe a break up.

Mark Lila wrote a book a few years back called “The Once and Future Liberal” alerting all of us to the problem that Identity Politics was becoming.

The Ivy League is out of touch with the rest of the country. A lot of the Democrat Leadership went Ivy League. It used to be a conduit for a good life in DC. I have rubbed shoulders with folks from the Ivy League – a lot. I have opinions not to be shared today.

So, here we are. Your share this morning from Mark Urban helped. I am going to hunker down and focus on what I can do.

Trump will be implementing as much of Immigrant Deportation and Project 2025 as he can. It will change things here.

I am not running out of my country – but I am looking around at different areas of it that might be suitable to move to. I am old now – I have to share my opinion but can’t make a tangible difference in outcomes at this point.

Thank you for letting me share this – . That way it does not swirl inside anymore.

As much as I liked Kamala, and I did like her a whole lot, the country was not ready for a black woman president. Real-Politik would have led us to understand that. Political Correctness would not. Unfortunate. She is going to be around.

    • My demographic? I went to a state school in the south for a technical education at a Land Grant University. I went to Boston University for my Masters in Business at night while I worked full time, and I lived in Boston for 8 Years, and I did know a lot of people going or had already went to Harvard, MIT, Dartmouth, Brown. Boston University is not Ivy League – but it is a good school.

    • The FT is probably the best of what is around at the moment – serious and well balanced pieces. Pricey to subscribe but not as left/right tilted as other choices.

    • By focusing on special interests and identity politics, the Dems have lost the ball and lost the election. They forgot the bigger picture. Bernie Sanders is upset.

This Trans thing is a stupid hill to fight and die on when a Constitutional Republic is at stake.

The Dems lost the working class.

You’re parroting the lies from Fox News.
You don’t have to choose one or the other because we’re all Americans and we all have the rights.

It’s the white working middle class that has chosen cultural issues especially white supremacy wrapped under the flag of being pro-birth that has them vote Republican against their own self-interest.

The Democrats haven’t been defending the trans thing. It is just the fact that Republicans have been demonizing trans people and most people assume that Democrats are defending them.

What’s wrong with allowing trans people to exist and live in peace? They weren’t bothering anyone until Republicans made them a thing.

  6. Marjorie, I’m interested in your astrological thoughts on the political future of Kamala Harris. After such a resounding defeat, a third presidential run seems unlikely to me…yet I can imagine a return to her roots (California) with a run for the Senate or Governor.

I’ve been reflecting on the Neptune-Pisces symbolism in her chart and life. With her natal Neptune in the 6th House (accentuating service, idealism, and compassion in the workplace) and fortifying her Pisces MC (professional public servant), the transit of 10th ruler Neptune in her 10th House, beginning in 2012, underscores her high profile career successes and failures during this period (reelected California Attorney General in 2014; elected to U.S. Senator in 2016; withdrew from first presidential race in 2019; lost second presidential race on Nov. 5, 2024).

The similarity, with Neptune as the navigator, in her two presidential races is intriguing – though ultimately unsuccessful, both campaigns launched with great hope, support, and funding.
In 2019, her campaign support and contributions dried up after the debates, and she withdrew from the race in December, citing a lack of funding. Note T Neptune was conjunct her natal Chiron (a double dose of vulnerability) and opposing her 4th House natal Pluto (affecting desire, empowerment, and resources from others). Looks like very significant transit timing – additionally emphasized with this particular arc: semisquare SA Neptune=Saturn (losing focus; wanting to give up, from Tyl).

For her loss on Tuesday T Neptune was quincunx her Sun (suggesting disorientation or lack of clarity may undermine self-expression and personal performance) – additionally emphasized with a significant angular arc: semisquare SA Neptune=MC (ego disappearance or “wipeout”; job vagaries, from Tyl).

    • Nice post pdw. I mentioned in a post a while ago that solar arc Pluto is in range of conjuncting her Neptune (ruler of her midheaven) and will be exact next year. From what I read, it could be a health issue or that dreams and hopes for the future undergo a transformation (currently happening) her dreams have dissolved, so to speak. I believe she will find a new way forward after some rest. I see her stepdaughter was admitted to an in-patient mental health crisis center yesterday, so perhaps time to focus on family will be part of it.

      • Thank you, Maggie.

That SA Pluto=Neptune sure is eye-catching. Perhaps a major change and transition in her career (with the MC-10th reference you point out); or a shift in her workplace and daily routine (the 6th House emphasis); or a health issue, as you say, reflecting increased sensitivity and vulnerability (Neptune-Pluto). I like your thought of a way forward after some rest, tapping into Neptune retreat and Pluto resilience.

I discovered it’s not true that her stepdaughter was admitted to a mental health center. Some not nice person started that rumor.

    • Kamala could run for Governor, which opened up in 2026 when Newsom terms out. The field for governor is still wide-open, with no clear frontrunner.

The Senate isn’t an option in the near future. Alex Padilla, who completed her term as Senator, was reelected in 2022 and Adam Schiff was just elected to Dianne Feinstein’s former seat. He won’t be going anywhere for a while — unless Trump succeeds in jailing him.

  7. Marjorie: what astro projection is seen with the 4B movement in SKorea and taking root with American women? It is described as a fringe movement from #MeToo, in response to stark gender inequality.

    Many thanks.

  8. 19 November is the date for the massive protest planned by farmers to be held in parallel with the NFU lobbying of parliament. Given the portents for this date already can you see a watershed moment for the UK?

  9. “The president-elect has suggested he might use active-duty military to handle what he calls ‘the enemy from within’”

    He’s really pushing it.

Does anyone really believe that US troops will fire on unarmed citizens?

    Not My President.

    • @Jody: A polite reply, so not taking it personally. I don;t feast on much other than french fries with Heinz mayo. There are interesting articles that catch my eye.

I also follow BBC which seems more in-depth, using a less paintbrush sweep of coverage.

    • Larry, Media outlets like CNN selectively edited Trump’s statement about using the National Guard or military. They left out that he said “if really necessary.” By omitting this conditional phrasing, they turned his words into an implied threat, suggesting he was calling for military action against Americans if he won.
Your news sources are failing you, though CNN isn’t nearly as bad as MSNBC.And I believe Kamala lost because she kept saying Trump was Hitler, Trump was a Nazi, and was going to steal our democracy. And I see from multiple videos on TikTok and X that women are having nervous breakdowns because they are so scared it is true. It is not true and her campaign has a lot to answer for with that rhetoric.

      • Actually, Kamala didn’t say he was a Nazi. It was his former chief of staff, Cabinet members and senior military who served with him who said he’s a fascist. He clear is and has said he wants to be a dictator.

Believe what he says he plans to do, Maggie. He talks like a fascist. He admires strongmen, which seems to be his aspiration. You criticize others for watching CNN and MSNBC — and no, I don’t watch television at all — but it appears you get your news from Fox News, or even, perhaps News Max?

It looks as if you’ll be getting the mass deportations you’ve expressed a wish for. But who will harvest the food, build houses, clean hotels, provide nursing care to seniors and childcare to babies, clean houses and offer gardening services?

    • They do not have to follow unlawful orders. They swear an oath to the Constitution not a person. However, it will be a mess and a crises. My dad swore that oath. People take it seriously.

  10. @ Pisces Rising,

This has been a major concern of mine too. Even though I work for a corporation (been with the same company for almost 25 years now) that offers full dental, health, and vision insurance plans, I switched to an Obamacare plan for my health insurance in 2011 (I still get my dental and vision insurance through my company plan) when I decide to go back to a part-time career employee.

If, G-d forbid, Obamacare were to be destroyed, then I would have to seek my old full-time status again in order get health insurance through my company plan. Not an easy task.

If it’s any small consolation, I did find 2 recent articles published in Vox and in The New York Times discussing how getting rid of Obamacare entirely seems unlikely…but Republicans are more likely to refuse to renew the subsidies that are set to expire at the end of 2025.

What this would mean is this: some of the lowest income recipients of Obamacare might still receive federal financial assistance to over the costly monthly premiums…but middle income recipients would likely lose any financial assistance assistance altogether.

Economists and health care experts estimate that this would inexorably result in ending coverage for many recipients because they wouldn’t be able to afford the premiums.

  11. Hi Marjorie,
If of interest, please could you look at the vile abuse linked to the CofE – John Smyth 27.06.41. Justin Welby 06.01.56 is under pressure about whether he had knowledge.
    Thank you

  12. As Trump reveals his cabinet one by one, maybe we could go post by post, a few people in each. Their prospects on their own, their relationship with Trump and transits to it.

First is Susie Wiles, 14 May 1957, New Jersey, USA.

    • She’s a Sun & Mercury in Taurus, with Moon in either late Scorpio or in Sagittarius.

Her Uranus is 3° Leo. Not too far from an opposition to transiting Pluto soon.

      • I didn’t know much about her, so I googled, and she has an interesting career, to say the least.

There was also a longform article about Trump’s campaign by Tim Alberta in “The Atlantic” just before the Elections, I might need to reread it.

        • An interesting character, indeed. Also a bird-watcher.

Not liking the spotlight makes me think that Moon is in Scorpio. But then again Boris has it too, and look how that’s going…

  13. Marjorie replied to your earlier comment! Asking if you knew the date, I think, as she was unable to find the comment in reference.

    Kind regards

  14. In a post from 30 March, the fortunes of “Trump’s little helpers” was discussed, and this stood out…

“Steve Bannon: Stuck through November; gloomy over New Year; a hint of luck from SA Jupiter square his Sun but edgy.”

Odd that the astrology suggests this for one who you’d think would be totally elated. One wonders if there’s more to this election story left to play out.

    • @JB, there’s definitely more into Steve Bannon story, likely further State crimes Trump won’t have a power of pardon. End even if there were Federal crimes, Trump only pardoned Paul Manafort after he’d been to prison for 18 months. I think his mafia boss mentality extends to this – he wants people to show their loyalty by doing time.

      • Given the Mercury rx cycle this month, then Mars next month, and finally Venus around beginning of March, yes much more. I hope we like rollercoaster rides.

    • @JB, remember that Trump fired Bannon from the White House staff not long after he took office in the first term. I suspect that Bannon the publicity hound may threaten Trump’s need to be center of attention and may clash with him in other ways. The astrology may be informative.

  15. Roderick: You are absolutely spot-on, especially per sexism. When all is said and done and every theory exhausted, the bottom line re Harris’s loss is misogyny. I’d venture to say that most men–white, black, Latino–were very uncomfortable (to say the least) with the prospect of a female holding the most powerful office in the world. That’s really what Trump’s landslide victory was all about. Misogyny. Plain and simple.

  16. New leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch made a strong start at her first PMQs today, calling out the Foreign Secretary for his derogatory comments on Trump. I would like to see the charts for her and Starmer over the next few years.

  17. I just wanted to know: does anyone see anything terminal (astrologically) for Obamacare/ACA?

I remember Marjorie saying it was going to be under extreme pressure until 2027…but does it appear like it will be axed?

      • I encounter many Amish traveling to Mexico for their health issues, and they swear by the high quality care they receive. Best of luck. Also, you may qualify for Medicaid insurance for a chronic health issue, but I am not an expert on insurance. Take care

    • I’m on Obamacare. Regular healthcare without it is $1,200 a month + deductables for me. I don’t even have any health problems or take any medications. I’m praying to the Greek God Asclepius and Aneurin Bevan that it isn’t gutted.

It looks like there have a been a few posts in the past on Obamacare, I would be interested in an update too

  18. Hi Marjorie
Does astrology indicate D. Trump removed from office due to ill health? Will J.D. Vance take over from Trump? Will both men be impeached or one man? Marjorie will Obama care be obolished? I hope not!

    • @ Julie, the SCOTUS saw to that when they gave Trump immunity and sent the case back to the lower court to define ‘official acts’.

  19. That Dutch astrologer said on an astrology message board:

“Did somebody mentioned SA Mc of Trump conjunct Pluto ?
    Power!!!
Kamala …. SA Pluto conjunct lord 10 (Neptune)… also power but because Neptune weak
Kamala also SA Mc opposite Merc (lord 1 and 4)
My money is on Trump but it is tensive!”

It only now dawns on me about that SA MC, societal identity, pinnacle of career, opposite Mercury (young people), ruler 1 (her priorities, the way she shows herself to the world) and ruler 4 (house, home, maybe even her homeland)…

  20. It seemed to me that if people have the luxury of endlessly speculating on all of the web chats, then clearly they are totally out of touch with ordinary Americans that are in the trenches working and resenting paying for illegal migrants’ laundry bil, etc. Many Americans are struggling to get by. It’s elitist to me…. and clueless as well. Thanks

    • @Jody, I’m not American, but work with “ordinary Americans” in the very lowest ladders of the Corporate world. What I see is endless chain of entitlement and inefficiency. People hold sales titles, make comfortable six figures a year and are “busy”, but really get less things done in a week than I do in half a day. And I’m not a genius Elon Musk, originally an illegal immigrant himself, who finds time to run several multibillion dollar companies, podcast, and send 10s of messages a day on X – just someone whose culture teaches children to be self reliant problem solvers. But I see major part of Americans lack intellectual curiousity and willingness to grow that people around me have.

      • @Solaia I know exactly what you mean, but I always chalked it up to low motivation – very little vacation time, little maternity/paternity benefits, having to cling to a job you have no interest in for the medical insurance. They are paid more but they seemed to have less of a life balance – less family time, less cultural capital (travel, affordable higher education), rampant inequality.

It’s not an environment that nurtures motivated team players. It’s in the culture and there isn’t a quick fix. It’s bad enough in the UK, but I fear that inequality will continue to really ruin that country unless they get it under control. There is so much misdirected anger

    • I posted about this at the top, as I had not seen your comment. I would agree with you. However, Many of the policies would have helped them quite a bit, whereas the new administration not so much.

  21. Marjorie-
Can you speak to that Neptune comment?

From my point of view there are many mentally unstable individuals who just won power (again, for some, but wins as part of government newly for RFK & Musk)
We know Musk uses drugs & it’s been suggested that Trump does as well. RFK was a drug abuser.

The hatefulness charitably could be mental illness & denial of the climate crisis indicates a lack of soberness & profound megalomania.

More about Neptune please & any other planets, asteroids etc that indicate sanity/insanity

  22. Marjorie: Can you elaborate re the “neptunian swamp” Trump will be facing in 2025? Also, another reputed astrologer recently said that J.D. Vance’s stars show him as a “king in waiting.” Would you agree?

  23. Well. At least the Roman Republic lasted 500 years. We are at 250 years. Marjorie – please write about the Trump Presidency, and the takeover of the USA by the Oligarchs Thiel and Musk.

For a long time I have not thought that Pluto in Aquarius would be sweetness and light. More like the uprising of the populace against the monarchy. As well as the surveillance state. If he goes after Milley, Mattis, Kelly, McRaven and tries to use the military To do it – I do not know what will happen.

Forces at work to try to make the USA a Christian Theocracy – a coalition of Catholic and Evangelical forces. An excellent write up of this in ProPublica.

Idealism will clash with Reality in the coming years.

  24. Trump went from losing the popular vote to winning it. Look at how many votes shifted.(5 million?) Dems only won the states with the few Federal jobs or declining population. Even the boomers did NOT turn out for Harris like with Biden and what Jew would vote democratic
    they made too many assumptions.

  25. I don’t think Americans have been brainwashed, as some comments below point out.

I think Democrats simply haven’t offered to people what they need. All this positive, upbeat messaging and coy slogans people don’t fall for. Trump’s message of negativity and fear does work. It is as if the Democrats are in deep denial, or I don’t know what’s happening to them, about what real-life people problems are and how people are.

And Trump did offer. But what they forget is that he lied to them and used their deepest desires, fears, and hopes to gain them, only for them in the future to realize they have been duped. Though they may never do. Realize.

Look at Brexit. Did people realize it would lead to this that it did? Even now some probably believe they are better off and it will all pay off in some near future. I don’t think many Britons changed their mind and would vote the same again. And the EU, just like the Democrats, isn’t helping its cause by being oblivious to reality of life, instead of pimping the same agenda uncorrected.

    • Hitler used the existing political system to achieve power on a scale that was unmentionable.

Be careful about how “correct” you may be coming across. This is a highly charged moment for half of America. I know this is an astrology website; let’s get back to center?

Will Ukraine survive? Putin must be dancing in circles…Thank you.

      • “Be careful about how “correct” you may be coming across. This is a highly charged moment for half of America. I know this is an astrology website; let’s get back to center?”

I’m not exactly sure what you mean. Have I done something wrong? Was I offensive?

      • LOL. Did you see the criminals that Trump campaigned with?
I’m sorry that you allowed Trump and Republicans to manipulate your emotions but you will suffer like the rest of us.

          • I’m not the one taking my frustrations out of immigrants because Trump lied that immigrants were getting freebies from FEMA and that’s why they are almost out of money.

    • ‘I think Democrats simply haven’t offered to people what they need. All this positive, upbeat messaging and coy slogans people don’t fall for. Trump’s message of negativity and fear does work. It is as if the Democrats are in deep denial, or I don’t know what’s happening to them, about what real-life people problems are and how people are.’

So you want Democrats to turn into Republicans and use people’s worst emotions against them?

Every time Democrats attempt to discuss substantial policy the other side calls us communists and socialists to shut down any type of conversation.

      That isn’t going to happen.

All of the people except the 1% who voted for Trump are going to suffer from his policies along with the rest of us.

‘Look at Brexit. Did people realize it would lead to this that it did? Even now some probably believe they are better off and it will all pay off in some near future.’

Most of the people who supported Brexit were anti-immigrant and now Britain is circling the drain economically because of their hate.

The same thing is going to happen here once Project 2025 is implemented. People are going to lose their health care and other government benefits because they got mad about the economy which will only get worse under Trump and they thought that immigrants were getting free stuff.

Democrats actually do try to talk about issues but Republicans always hijack the narrative and lie and we end up talking about stupid stuff like who got Biden to quit the race.

  26. I have been following this website for some years and it seems like the guy’s scoring system for candidates is pretty accurate in terms of predicting Presidential election results:

    https://philosopherswheel.com/presidentialelections.html

Harris’s natal Saturn conjunct the US natal Moon didn’t help either.

Trump has Mars in Leo conjunct his Ascendant and it is also conjunct the asteroid America so it’s not surprising that a lot of people see him as the tough guy telling it like it is and promising to put the nation back on track. I’ve thought for some time he’s a conduit for collective energies and that his rise to prominence in the time period surrounding the US’s Pluto Return isn’t a coincidence in this regard – he’s an exaggerated/distorted depiction of America’s inner swagger and confidence which since 9/11 has been on the wane. A Pluto Return for any organisation is a very powerful moment and the nature of Pluto means that the process of such a transit can really shake said organisation to the core; perhaps it’s not surprising that America is trying to grasp as hard as it can onto what Trump is projecting through that Mars/Ascdendant/America conjunction.

  27. I’m in Miami and everyone – especially the Haitians – were very pro Trump. They said they were the children of immigrants and that they were against taking care financially of people entering the US illegally. Other Latina women were team Trump, along with two lovely 30-year old Black women who immediately shut me down when I brought up the election, saying that they weren’t putting energy into it. Traveling across the US, I found most people were disgusted with the Democrats

      • Not when they’re cheating by sneaking in ahead of the line. Plus, the guy said that they caught quite a few working…… which in their minds take work away from them. I knew something was up when urban Black women are moving away from Chicago to live in ND in order to survive – literally

        • If illegal immigrants are working, presumably duplicitous Americans are employing them because they can do it on the cheap. If you’re going to deport the immigrants, shouldn’t the employers face some form of retribution too?

      • That’s often the case, El Aznar. The common statement is “I did it the right way, I came legally. Why shouldn’t they?” While their real attitude is often, “I’ve got mine — shut the door on THEM!”

There’s no comprehension from many of these second or third generation immigrants that the systems have changed radically and the process for immigrating to the US is now extremely difficult, far more than when THEY or their parents came.

  28. Just wanted to copy this Astro-Weather from Alabe.com for it to start as a kind of quick reference. So many aspects favoured Trump: Sun opposite Uranus (sudden event – Uranus – opposite the ruling one, the Sun) Mercury square Saturn – realism required, Venus square Neptune – a woman (Venus) looses (Neptune), Mars sexitile Jupiter – luck (Jupiter) to the male (MRs)…

    “Applying Sun Opposite Uranus
Upsets and sudden or radical events may occur under this transit. It’s a time of meetings and confrontations, resignations, strikes, disputes, and other jolting events. Events born at this time will challenge the status quo.

    Applying Moon Sextile Saturn
People are thoughtful and serious now. It’s a time for traditions, pragmatic decisions, and sensitive diplomacy.

    Applying Mercury Square Saturn
This is a time for realism in communications and for facing facts. Authorities may announce restrictions, delays, freezes, and cuts. Transportation matters present problems. Be patient.

    Applying Venus Square Neptune
This transit bring up strange feelings and emotions. Resignations and defeats, deceptions, disappointments, and unexplained losses may occur now. People may have strong feelings for others, but solutions to problems may be idealistic and impractical.

    Applying Mars Sextile Jupiter
This is a good time for outdoor activities, initiatives, enterprise, and quick decisions, all likely to turn out positive.

    Applying Jupiter Square Saturn
Social and political crises, and even an economic recession, may arise under this transit. Economic issues get much attention and political solutions come only after much agony. Crucial decisions on security and boundary issues need to be made now, but consensus is hard to reach.

    Saturn void in Pisces
Formalities are the rule; traditions are maintained. Groups of old friends, family, and comrades assemble to remember the past. Conservatism rules; experiments fail. At this time leaders are under pressure and laws are put into effect. It’s a time for staying with tradition and not experimenting with new forms of social behaviors. The past triumphs.

    Applying Uranus Sextile Saturn
Social structures are changing now and decisions from authority figures may be controversial. This could be a time of practical technological advances.

    Neptune void in Pisces
Trends are unclear. Not everything is known, there is much to suspect. The fabric of reality seems to be ripped asunder. Faith in leadership is low. Social and economic conditions are unstable and subject to devaluations. The future looks uncertain and no one is taking any chances. Beliefs about reality are challenged. Some feel overwhelmed, even flooded, literally and figuratively.

    Pluto void in Capricorn
There is movement toward displaying outright power. Tolerance and patience are pushed aside in favor of drastic actions. Old wounds are reopened and confrontations forced. Power plays occur. Secret forces make their presence known. Some seek to act on their urges, others attempt to stop them. Deep secrets are revealed. A collective cleansing is in order.”

    • I was wondering about that Mercury square Saturn in terms of Mercury representing young people, the youth. Square would put them into collision with the elderly (Saturn)… Or reason and experience (Saturn).

  29. We are now at Donald Trump’s mercy. I’m absolutely horrified. He’s not going to leave office until he’s dead.

All I hope for at this point is that Trump doesn’t get rid of Obamacare and that maybe he can be convinced not to allow Gaza and Ukraine to be destroyed.

I guess all of the astrology predictions about Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin going down were way off.

    • Noel Tyl had a rather neat soundbyte a couple of elections ago when he remarked that astrologers predicting the election were mainly led by confirmation bias – he didn’t put it quite that way, but astrologers often cherry pick what suits their own wishes.
In all the swirling mass of contradictory and complex influences it is rarely obvious that astrology is a good election predictor. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Tony Blair’s 1997 victory was obvious from the astrology but not the scale of it.
My initial (intuitive) responses are often not bad though tend to be over ridden by other people’s opinions. I wrote that Harris was a shaky replacement at the time and was shot down by fervent Dems. I really really if I am allowed a political opinion dislike Joe Biden – he had to be dragged away and in his petulance insisted Harris be nominated. Might not have been different with another candidate but they might have had a better shot.

      • @ Marjorie,

In fairness.to Kamala Harris, she actually did run a pretty phenomenonal campaign. She campaigned in the states she knew she needed most…but for whatever reason, Latino voters broke 40-45% for Donald Trump and he improved his margins with other minority groups as well.

In other words, I’m not sure any Democratic candidate would have been successful against Trump this election.

Some speculate that inflation and the immigration/border issue were the winning issues for Trump this election.

Kamala Harris actually did very well with White voters (educated Whites)…but it was the minority groups (Latinos specifically) who canceled those gains she made with white voters.

Anyway, I really fear the future of this country as well as the future of NATO and Europe.

        • I agree. It’s not that Kamala did anything wrong.
It looks more like so many Americans have been brainwashed/hypnotised.
I think they will wake up from their trance one day (after a lot of suffering and destruction).

        • Chris: Some speculate that inflation and the immigration/border issue were the winning issues for Trump this election.

Hate and fear and jealousy of the other is always a winning issue in America, unfortunately.

NATO is toast as are the Ukraine and the Baltic countries.

          • @ Roderick,

Of course hate, fear, and jealousy were the reasons. That much is obvious. However, many of Trump’s silent voters would never admit to this.

And despite the tragic outcome of this election, I do not believe NATO, the Baltic States, and Ukraine are toast.

      • I readily admit to confirmation bias. I was wilfully blind to certain astrological facts because today’s result was too horrible to contemplate. The American people have voted for their own self-destruction. The chart for the next Inauguration clearly spells dictatorship. What is disquieting to me is those who think life will go on as usual. To me, this is January 30, 1933. Hitler was elected legally while promising economic security. Within three months of his Inauguration, he shredded the constitution he had sworn to defend, opened concentration camps for his political opponents and banned any other party, while there were still those who pooh-poohed when he threatened the Jews. To think this cannot happen in the US is quite delusional. If I were a Democrat, I would seriously consider leaving the country to oppose Trump in exile and to protect my family. I cannot envision Kamala certifying the vote in Congress on January 3 or Biden attending the Inauguration because they will be in danger.

      • @Marjorie, Harris lost due to sexism and racism.
Some of the commenters were very honest about not believing that a woman should be in a leadership position.

Unfortunately the misogyny came from both women and men.

    • Not necessarily. If I recall, Putin looked like he was in trouble in around 2026. And Pluto going from Capricorn to Aquarius was always going to be a gradual event. When Pluto entered Aquarius during Nero’s reign, Boudicci almost drove the Romans out of Briton. Two years later, Nero was deposed and committed suicide. So it took a few years before the guy on top to come crashing down. Remember, Nero faced a hostile female power, then financial crisis and disasters, as well as enemies within the Roman Senate and the military who were biding their time. Sounds very familiar with Trump’s position.
I have taken as many steps to be as financially secure as I can be due to the possibility of this happening. I am budgeting for an increase in my medications (in the event Obama Care is destroyed, which will raise health costs across the board), interests rates, and have paid most of my loans off with just a little bit to go, and they have a fixed rate. My job is secure for now as well, and I can always go back to practicing law if I chose to leave. I have even started a garden and orchard to grow my own vegetables and fruits, which helps with food costs.
We can get through this. Even if Trump has nothing to lose, many Republican politicians do if he goes to far. They want to keep their positions after Trump leaves, so if he ruins the country, who is going to be voted out? Never underestimate the power of self interest. In the meantime, shake off your fears, prepare for the tough times ahead, and enjoy watching MAGA voters suffer in a few years once they feel the full brunt of Trump’s policies. They won’t be prepared. We will be. And keep that fire burning within you. Be outraged this has happened again. Use this.

      • Best I have heard anywhere. Thank you. It was a really nice period of rights, education, no major global wars. I know WW1, I know the 30’s, I know WW2, I know the Cold War. A lot of people have no memory. My parents did. They passed it to me Land and low debt.
        – USA Withdraws from Ukraine all support
        – Latvia and Lithuania and Estonia need to be worried (they were worried when John McCain was alive – one of the last things he did was go see them).
        – USA withdraws from Nato
        – Germany and UK and Poland are mobilized when what is left of Nato is Triggered
        – Taiwan needs to be worried
        – The American period ends. China takes over. Russia likes to talk big – but they are not.
        – Not sure what will happen Having Land to grow food is a smart move.

  30. Not hugely surprised by what’s happening in the US election. There’s the Neptune / Uranus in Capricorn generation voting. Been reading Instagram posts by a selection them. What comes across is an idealization of elite figures such as Musk and Trump who are unbelievably are seen as outsiders and rule breakers, challenging the status quo that everyone is so sick of. That generation seems to have a fair share of people who have an odd mix of rebellion against the ‘state’ yet paradoxically huge admiration for the elite, especially billionaires! So not surprised by the result.

    • Of course whilst conveniently forgetting that Musk and Trump have been beneficiaries of generous corporate welfare from the state in the past.

      • Robert F Kennedy Jnr (Capricorn stellium) endorsed Trump, and he seems like a talismanic figure for the Neptune Uranus in Capricorn generation, particularly on his vow to take on pharmaceutical companies – whatever that entails.

  31. There are echoes of the Mars Rx of the 2020 election coming back to haunt us – That was Aries to Aries, the leader replaced, but ultimately by another male (Aries). Strange that just like in 2020 we have a Mars/Pluto hard aspect and that 21-23 Gemini/Sagittarius signature (2020 Venus station, eclipse, election nodes etc) has returned somewhat in the form of a Venus/Jupiter opposition.

Of course now we have another Mars Rx coming up, with a station at 6 Leo going back to Cancer. Sort of suggests that he’ll eventually be replaced by a woman (maybe even a family member?!?) – but as his VP will be male, I fear that may mean a full term. Either way, a Mars Rx in the inauguration chart strongly suggests that he will run out of steam in some way like Joe Biden

    • Trump will be behind the helm when our economy goes into a recession (the world economy is showing slowdown, and I think there are predictions of one in 2025 and 2026). All of those voters who will lose their jobs, their homes, and their insurance will have buyers remorse. But sometimes suffering is needed for bullies to develop empathy. But I don’t think the military will follow Trump’s orders if he orders his enemies to firing squads or ask the military to go door to door to deport immigrants. If Trump goes overboard, what are the chances of the military stepping up to block him or perhaps pressure Congress to make him stand down?

      • Hm, I think I will let everything shake down a bit before doing a post- but the Army Chief of Staff Randy George does look at daggers drawn with Trump for the next two years. Their relationship chart has a composite Mars, Pluto, Venus, Sun which tr Uranus will square – high risk and tensions flaring. But could also be a foreign conflict.

        • The good Generals came out against him – and he plans to prosecute them all. Milley, Mattis, Kelly, McRaven. The big names. Mark Esper as well. I have been wondering what will happen if Trump comes after the good Generals.

      • @Allyn
Trump is a narcissist and they can never develop empathy. It just isn’t in them and besides he’s almost 80.
He is too old to change.

Do you remember that there were several police officers and active duty and retired military who participated in Jan 6th so yes there would be active duty who would follow Trump’s orders and he will go overboard because he has no control, but whatever.

    • Starting to feel the presence of an arc of renewal, post-Pluto Return, opening up between now and the US Uranus return. This looks similar to the installation of the Vote Leave government here in 2019.

    • Do you live in America?
The only people who want a civil war are Republicans.
We Democrats will suck it up for the next four years and see Trump and the Republicans finish off this country.
I guess I better get to learning Russian.

  32. Although that Dutch astrologer I occasionally follow added Kamala also had some good constellations for winning, the first thing she said is Trump has solar-arc MC on Pluto – “power”. She was leaning towards saying Trump will this win.

I will try to find and copy that post later.

      • Another astrologer didn’t suggest a prediction but flashed up “BUYER’S REMORSE” when talking about the possibility of what has transpired.

        • @JB, apparently, it was young men who pushed Trump in Pennsylvania in particular. These people were not necessarily in work force even in 2020. It will be interesting to see how they will react to Republicans busting the economy with tariffs.

          • Is this the Neptune Uranus in Capricorn generation? Looking at some of their SM posts there is a strange mix of rebellion against the ‘state’ yet a idealization of traditional values – men who are seen as physically strong and capable, women who ‘want’ to stay at home popping out baby after baby whilst living in an idyllic off-grid homestead.

          • Let’s not forget that Trump won over a majority of white women. Totally boggles what remains of my shattered mind.

        • It’s extraordinary that the nation once thought of as the greatest on Earth has chosen a convicted criminal to take up the highest office.

It really reveals the incredible debasement and erosion of values.

I really hope this is the lowest point before the curve turns upward again.

          • @El Aznar,
There is nothing they will do.
They left the question of official acts undefined as an out for Trump by sending the case the lower court to delay any change of a trial until after the election.

Trump’s DOJ is going stop the case from going forward, so the SCOTUS may never take up the actual definition of ‘official acts’.

  33. I don’t mean to flood this “Questions & Comments” thread with comments about Kamala Harris and the election. However, I just wanted to share one more bit and then I’ll stop.

In New Hampshire, there are few towns near the border with Québec, Canada that have an interesting tradition of always voting at midnight on the day of an election. These small, sparsely populated towns are: Dixville Notch, Hart’s Location, and Millsfield. I’m not sure how or why the tradition of midnight voting came about in these 3 New Hampshire towns but they’ve been doing this since 1960. Many people treat these 3 New Hampshire towns as an “omen” of where the general presidential election might be headed.

Anyway, at 12:00 AM today, a total of 6 people in Dixville Notch cast their votes – none of the 6 voters were registered Democrats (some were Republicans and I think some were Independents). All 6 of those voters had voted for Nikki Hayley in the Republican Party Presidential Primary earlier this year.

As it turns out, 3 of the 6 voters voted for Donald Trump while the other 3 voted for Kamala Harris. In other words, it was an even 50%.

Again, while all of this is anecdotal (because there is no proof or empirical data that supports the notion that how these small New Hampshire towns vote is how the rest of the country will vote), It can be a fun superstition to entertain. Who knows? Maybe Kamala Harris really is getting a lot of the Nikki Hayley voters, Independents, and some Republicans who are so exasperated with Donald Trump.

    • I think Dixville Notch came from Calvin Coolidge, who was President in the 1920s. He was from Vermont but i believe he had a home in New Hampshire. It is on the border of Québec, which should prepare to receive American political refugees.

    • Hah, I have been pondering on Kamala’s Jupiter which catches a lucky Uranus nudge in the final days of this month into December – it might push her over the line but as said before it also tugs on other less desirable influences. At this stage best wait and see – though it could be many days before there is a definite result.

      • Probably apropos of nothing, but noticed that Obama was first elected on a Capricorn Moon, with Pluto about to ingress into Capricorn. Today is another Capricorn Moon with Pluto two weeks shy of a final exit out of Capricorn.

    • it is a very nervous but exciting time for the country. normally do not vote in presidential elections but this one was easy to pick.

        • @ Roderick,

I live in North Florida and I’m pleasantly surprised by strong support I’m seeing for Kamala Harris up here. I’ve met people I never would’ve expected who are supporting her. I’m seeing yard signs, bumper stickers, flags, etc with the Harris / Walz logo on them all over the place.

Of course, I know all of this is anecdotal. I do live in Jacksonville (and Duval County is a “swing county” that’s been trending more Democrat in recent years). North Florida is very conservative and Kamala Harris is only slated to win Gadsden, Leon, Alachua, and possibly Duval (my county) counties.

Maybe Amendment 4 (which is about abortion) will help Kamala Harris pull off an upset victory here in Florida this year…but then, maybe not.

I believe Kamala Harris will win the general election…but I don’t put much stock into her winning Florida at all.

    • @ Sheila,

A friend living in Tamil Nadu, India shared this lovely Tamil Language blessing to offer Kamala Harris today:

      “உங்கள் மென்மையான வார்த்தை, உங்கள் கனிவான தோற்றம் & உங்கள் அன்பான புன்னகை அதிசயங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் செய்யும்!”

      Translation:

“Your gentle & soft-spoken word, your kind & empathetic look and your friendly & loving smile shall work wonders & miracles!”

Also, in Hinduism, I believe the G-ddess Durga represents protection and strength. So, I hope she will watch over Kamala Harris and Tim Walz today as our nation votes.

    • @ Sheila,

I noticed that Saturn is in Pisces right now. I discussed this with my astrology teacher and she and I noticed that this has historically tied well with Democratic Party victories.

Also, Saturn is trining the the Sun right now – the party that occupies the White House (in the case, the Democratic Party) during this aspect has often gone onto winning reelection.

Last but not least, one of the other astrology students in my group mentioned that since Venus sextiles Mercury and Saturn sextiles Mercury, these aspects could be a good stability, international relations, foreign policy, diplomacy, etc. If Harris wins today, it would makes sense given that much of the Global North and the West will breathe a collective sigh of relief and will feel that a sane, competent, and intelligent person will be leading a country that has over 5,000 plus nuclear weapons and the most powerful military on earth.

  34. Hello Marjorie. I have solar arc Pluto (Scorpio 4th) square Saturn ( Aquarius 6th) entering (11/2). What is your interpretation of this, and is it a 12 month influence (6 months applying and 6 months separating)? Thanks:)
