  1. Hi Marjorie

Are there any astrological insights regarding the Chauvin verdict? Especially now given the noise about Maxine Waters’ comments before the jury deliberated, and is probably gonna be used in launching his appeal?

  2. In bold headlines on CNN: “CHAUVIN GUILTY”

One would suppose this was not the outcome the police officer had anticipated.

Armchair quarterbacks already talking about how to successfully appeal the verdict.

Still, it doesn;t bring back the dead.

    • There is already talk that Maxine Waters was inciting violence with her remarks about what can happen ‘if found not guilty …..’ prior to jury deliberation. So they probably gonna use that to launch the appeal. Verdict not out of the woods yet? I hope it stands up to and after scrutiny.

  3. Lots of controversy with the announcement of the breakaway European Super League. with 12 European clubs joining. Looks like there will be lots of legal issues around this, with the government, Prince William and many fans announcing opposition. It seems to be motivated by greed.

Are there any insights on this, impact to UEFA, impact to the clubs involved? The press release was on 18 April 2021, in the evening.

    • It seems very Mars retrograde, I wonder if something to do with the inception of it took place during the transit last winter. The Mars station Rx point recently had Sun/Mercury pass over it as well as an aspect from tr Mars in mutual reception with the Mercury. The backlash seems to suggest this energy.

Other than that there is the rebellious, breakaway Uranus in financial Taurus transit which is being squared by transiting Saturn in team orientated Aquarius, which perhaps shows the rift with the detached owners and the team players, along with the fans and community. Saturn representing the governments and regulatory bodies as well.

Sometimes simple transits tell enough of the story, but a cursory look at two charts…
English premier league is having it’s Saturn return at the moment which is interesting. Uranus is transiting the Rx Mars in Taurus in the chart of UEFA.

  4. Hi Marjorie
As HMQ is 95 on 21st April. Given recent events I was wondering what her working relationships with Charles/Camilla and William, and also Anne and Edward/Sophie, were looking like now she is without Phillip. Next year will be the Platinum Jubilee with February and June significant dates. It also occurred that her first PM was Churchill, and the current is a Churchill wannabe, she deserves so much more as the Sun sets on her long reign.

    Thank you

  5. Marjorie I would be interested in your take on the unlikely friendship between Michelle Obama and G W Bush. At first look at their charts a friendship doesn’t seem very likely. And perhaps your views on friendship in general. In my own case I have the sun at 29 Aquarius and my three closest friends have the sun at 29 Gemini or 29 Libra – so what you might expect, but it doesn’t always follow.

  6. Another super-centennian has passed…is there anything that can be gleaned from her birth chart…dicey as it might be?

From CBS News…” Hester Ford, the oldest living American, has died in North Carolina, her family said.

Ford was either 115 or 116 years old depending on which census report was accurate. According to the Gerontology Research Group, which tracks “supercentenarians,” her age was listed as 115 years and 245 days. As of July 30, she was the oldest person on record living in the U.S.

Ford was born in Lancaster, South Carolina and grew up working on a farm where she planted and picked cotton, plowed the field and cut wood. “

  7. Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez broke off their engagement this week … “better as friends”. He’s got something of a reputation as a prima donna.

Both early Leos what’s going on for them?

  8. Majorie,

Are you interested in writing another blog post about Hong Kong? The 2022 Hong Kong Chief Executive election is scheduled on 27 March 2022 for the 6th term of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong (CE), the highest office of the Hong Kong. A few potential candidates are speculated according to local analysis:

Carrie Lam, the incumbent Chief Executive ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Lam )

    Leung Chun-ying, the former Chief Executive ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leung_Chun-ying )

Norman Chan, the former CEO of HKMA, which is equivalent to Federal Reserve in Hong Kong ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Chan )

Chris Tang, the Commisioner of Police ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Tang )

Can you offer your input based on astrology? Thanks.

    • Hi It might be better to leave it till nearer the time when we see exactly who is – allowed – to stand. Though I’d imagine the results would be a foregone conclusion. On these birthdates – definitely not Chris Tang, or Leung Chun-ying, both of whom look devastated. Carrie Lam is not too upbeat either but has one liberating influence which may be her being let off the hook. In general the election will be a time of suppressed rage and frustration within the territory with confusion reigning. Such a tragedy and a waste for a vibrant community.

  9. Marjorie, could you tell me something about Thornton Wilder? I enjoyed very much a comedy series done in the late 60s starring William Windom as the cartoonist. I imagine it was loosely based.

  10. Vartan Gregorian, president of the Carnegie Corporation for over 20 years, has died. Born April 8, 1934 in Tabriz, Persia (Iran) to Armenian parents, he was an academic, educator, and historian. Please take a look at his chart, Marjorie.
