He fired his justice minister after she refused to drop a bribery charge against a major construction company, and he accepted gifts and a private island getaway from a billionaire financier. There are rumblings that the Liberals might even replace him ahead of the elections, so the party can get a fresh start. I see you recently answered a question re Sky News’ 30th Anniversary.
Made me think of 2 news presenters in particular, 1 who used to work for them – Selina Scott born 13 May 1951
in Scarborough, who was the 1st to give Donald Trump a very tough interview back in 1995 and she now lives in Yorkshire
and has I believe a successful fibres business.
The other is Kay Burley born 17 December 1960 in Wigan, who has been with Sky News since its inception.
