The worst anti-Semitic attack in US history yesterday left 11 worshippers dead and four policemen injured in a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue. The killer Robert Bowers appears to be a pro-Nazi white supremacist who posted online about Jewish people running the government and bringing invaders (Muslims) into the USA via the migrant caravan. He wanted all Jews to die he told a policeman after his arrest since they were causing genocide to his people. He was using an AK-15 assault weapon and carried three additional guns.
The shooting occurred just after the 9.45 am start of the morning service and emergency services were called at 9.54am. That puts Jupiter Mercury and Scorpio Ascendant opposition the destructive Fixed star Algol. A defiant/disruptive Uranus was exactly square the Leo North Node and opposition Sun Venus – and that was one of the hallmarks of the recent run of Eclipses. The repressive Saturn/Pluto midpoint was exactly trine the midheaven. And a 7th house Gemini Moon was on the focal point of a scattered T Square to a 4th house Neptune opposition the midheaven, and the Moon also trined Mars.

As a non-American there seemed to me zero dog-whistling in the original comment about friends knowing Bowers in the past. Misconstruing what someone says and getting over heated about it is half the problem with US and indeed UK politics at the moment. Then it escalates from there. I agree old-style sexist comments aren’t helpful.
The advent of Trump and pernicious far-right net communities undoubtedly facilitates/gives the green light to unhinged supremacist nationalists and others. Spoke with an old college friend about the shooter. My friend’s niece worked with the shooter during the 1990s at a small-town bakery. He was a wack-job back then, touting his supremacist beliefs … and his guns. His hatred did not evolve overnight.
A squadron of military helicopters flew over my house four days ago, heading south. 5,200 active military troops are being deployed at the mexican border. Have you got any insider information about this? Maybe friends who “remember the Alamo”? Therefore, this did not evolve overnight?
The migrant caravan is 1000 miles (1600 kms) from the USA border on foot and with families. It’s blatant electioneering. Shades of Tony Blair pulling out military tanks to Heathrow to bolster his case for Iraq or somesuch.

Someone who had more pain from this man’s action than you or your friends can imagine may read your comment. Thanks Marjorie. I don’t so much fear terrorists – I do fear my loose-nut neighbors…and the trigger-happy knee-jerk-reacting police. Restrictive gun control laws might affect losing 2nd amendment rights…but I’m more concerned from losing my life because of nutcases walking around, living out of their van or car.
This is the view almost everybody outside The US hold. The US does not have an exclusivity of loose-nuts. But it’s much harder for them to hurt anyone elsewhere. There are states where a teenager can legally buy an assault weapon, but not a pintnof beer. This is insane.
