Peter Mandelson has been sacked as the UK’s ambassador to the US, as the Foreign Office claimed that “the depth and extent of Peter Mandelson’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein is materially different from that known at the time of his appointment.” Not sure how they managed to miss it given photographs of him emerged several years back attending an Epstein birthday party in Paris the year after Epstein was charged with counts of unlawful sex acts with a minor.
In 2000, both Mandelson and the Prince Andrew were witnesses at the wedding of merchant banker Sir Evelyn de Rothschild to Lynn Forester, an American broadcasting entrepreneur who was a longstanding friend of Epstein. The FBI hold Epstein’s phone book which has ten numbers for Mandelson and 16 for Prince Andrew. Only a few people in the book, which seems to have been compiled by Ghislaine, are listed with multiple numbers. All this has been in plain sight for some years.
One reason may be that Mandelson and Trump are natural allies and may have had financial connections in the past. Plus Mandelson has a chameleon-like ability to reinvent himself after various scandals in the past, allowing him to rise once again without blushing into high office.
He was born 21 October 1953 in London with a chart similar to Richard 111, the Hunchback King, and to Vladimir Putin (his October 1952 birth date being accurate). Mandelson has a Libra Sun conjunct evasive Neptune on one side and Saturn on the other, trine Jupiter in Gemini and sextile a focal point influential Pluto. His Uranus opposes a Capricorn North Node square his Neptune, Sun, Saturn – designed to be at the heart of the zeitgeist, a maverick and rebel, ego-centred, lucky, confident, executive material but not a natural cooperator, slippery.
The upcoming late Virgo Solar Eclipse is conjunct his Mars as well as three of his key midpoints, with more jolts and jangles to come across the winter.
His relationship chart with Epstein was tight with the signature (promiscuous) Mars Venus conjunction (that trails across all the Epstein related charts ) plus Sun and Mercury all trine Pluto and sextile Neptune – ambition, money and sex. His relationship chart with Trump has a power-couple composite Sun Jupiter Pluto Venus conjunction – sociable and profitable.
His relationship with Keir Starmer, has an over-hopeful composite Jupiter opposition Neptune being undercut by tr Pluto in hard aspect at the moment; with more discouragement to come in 2026.
Starmer’s woes keep getting deeper – he has the tail end of Solar Arc Sun Pluto conjunct his Neptune which has made recent months beyond devastating; and has just acquired Solar Arc Mars conjunct his Sun Pluto for the year ahead which could potentially grind him to a halt altogether. It won’t get easier.
I should make it clear that I am not a Peter Mandelson fan. But on the evidence of what has been released, there doesn’t appear to me to be any evidence to form any sort of case against him. And legally there has to be more than he was a guest with his then boyfriend, now husband, on Epstein’s Island during which time he suffered from heatstroke and migraine. Which probably meant he spent most of his time, lying down in a darkened room.
People like to forget that Epstein also entertained people more conventionally. Meaning he invited couples with their families. And while Mandelson did stay at Epstein’s New York home while Epstein was in prison, I think assuming that any of the naked photos were even there, because by then either they would still be kept as evidence or put in storage or destroyed. Epstein was after all trying to get early release. He would have been foolish to have kept them.
Yes Mandelson made some poor judgement calls in maintaining a friendship with a convicted p@edophile. But believing in someone’s innocence isn’t a crime. Otherwise everyone could be charged and found guilty. That is the problem, it is designed to provoke knee jerk reactions across the world. In that sense it has been a success.
Because if you wanted to find something iffy, you need look no further than the Tony Blair Institute, called TBI for short. In 2016 he was the driving force with Britain, the Americans and Israeli businessmen to move the Palestinians out of Gaza and turn Gaza into the Riviera.
Until this summer Starmer went along with this. Remembering, that this has been planned since 2016. Now suddenly a big stink about Mandelson and sacking him and everyone has turned into a Witchfinder General. The irony being that while the world complains bitterly about how Israel treats the people of Gaza, nobody bats an eyelid about America and Britain’s part in it. But the British people might be more than a little bit concerned if they knew that Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon have absolutely refused to take any more Palestinians.
So it wouldn’t be a surprise, if we found our already overcrowded island having to accept these people. Which really won’t go down well! And Starmer knows it will cause an absolute outrage.
There has always been talk about about which intelligence agency Epstein worked for. Mossad has always been in the running, but just lately MI6 has been included. And considering that the TBI is a non-profit organisation, where is the money coming from? I sort of wonder if Blair and Starmer had kittens when Trump announced that he was going to kick out the Palestinians and turn Gaza into the Riviera. Or were they pleased that Trump would be taking the flak himself. Either way Blair has stated that he never wanted the Palestinians to leave. No he wants to contribute more to Britain’s multiculturalism.
Recently I read up on Epstein on Wikipedia. Not perhaps the best source, although it was well written and researched. And extremely long. It mentioned an inordinately long list of names of people associated with him. And although Tony Blair’s name was on the list, I couldn’t find Peter Mandelson’s name anywhere. Odd that. Especially as Petey was best pals with him. Or so everyone says.
Look I don’t know if Mandelson did anything untoward or not. But if I was looking for something to bring him down, I am sure being a gay man in the UK would be the place to start. Especially during the period in the 1970s you could get into a lot of trouble if your partner was under the age of 21. During Blair’s tenure in Downing Street, the gay age of consent was first brought down to 18 and then to 16. Some Labour MPs wanted to either bring it down to 14 or do away with it. Fortunately they decided to stick to 16. And I have yet to hear of his name in connection with any s3x scandal. Either he has covered his tracks well or there just isn’t anything to tell.
Peter Mandelson has of course been sacked for certain things, usually financial things he should have declared, like the huge loan he received so he could buy a house in Belgravia, I think it was. He has always been called the Prince of Darkness, because he is supposed to know where all the metaphorical bodies are buried. So if you were going to bring him down, why didn’t they build a better case? Because Starmer wanted this done quickly. Or Blair did. Because he wields far more influence than the 10 years when he was Prime Minister. .In other words, he was prepared to sacrifice his friend and misdirect the world’s attention so none of this would fall on him. Mandy taught him too well. Well I am sure that you think I am well and truly wearing a tin hat. But remember that, the only people who have been ruined by association with Epstein have been Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson. And although it embarrasses Britain, no end. In the overall scheme of things, they are small fry compared to the people they could bring down.
One of the reasons for multiple mobile numbers was probably to do with the amount of phone hacking going on.
The Downing Street Chief of Staff Gordon McSweeney (born19 April 1977) worked for Mandelson back in 2001. The press has suggested that he may have had a major role in persuading Starmer to give him the post of Ambassador in Washington.

Thanks Marjorie. It is almost impossible to believe that the FO didn’t know, or at least suspect, “the depth and extent” of this tawdry tale. Various media outlets are now saying Mandelson did not pass MI6 security vetting. Indeed, with so much in the public domain, as you say, we can all wonder what the security services knew since it was bound to be more extensive than what was just floating around the internet. Numerous high level individuals knew Epstein in a superficial, social way – but few were closely associated with him.
Interesting to see Keir Starmer’s secretive Scorpio Neptune with added SA pressure opposing the UK 1801 Mars in Taurus in the 8th house of sex, death, and other people’s money. A few of his various ministers and associates do seem to be embodying the tension in that particular see-saw. KS natal Leo/Aquarius Nodes fall on the House of Commons Sun in Aquarius opposition Neptune in Leo adding more deceptive Neptune to the picture. It is all becoming like Ground Hog Day, as we lurch from one thing to another with our current Government. Starmer was elected under Argol. Whatever voters politics are, these drama’s do affect us. Next year we have transiting Pluto in Aquarius – activating his Saturn and South Node. More revolutions? Peter Mandelson is quite a colourful character, for older voters we have seen it all before. The press and others didn’t call him the Prince of Darkness for nothing! Strangely enough his Neptune/Sun/Saturn does appear to give him a form of a Movie Star leading actor. As he always leave the stage with a twinkle in his eyes!

I must say, Marjorie, I hoped you were wrong when you initially doubted Starmer’s success. I now wonder if he will finish his term. Certainly, his international image is now weakened. Trump’s second state visit next week can now be seen as self-sabotage by the Labour government. With dismal astrolgical forecasts ahead, Labour will need a new leader before the next election. This is likely to come at an even more troubled time.
Starmer obviously foisted this second state visit on the King. It will undoubtedly inflict damage on the government but, frankly, I’m more concerned about the damage it will inflict on the monarchy. Any thoughts, Marjorie?

Labour MPs from the left are no longer fearful of a damaged Starmer, and are openly saying he needs to go soon. They are fed up with his pound shop Farage impersonation. If Labour do as badly as the polls suggest in the 2026 local elections, most likely he will be challenged. There’s talk about Andy Burnham preparing a go at the leadership.
