1. The one thing that Trump should not be doing is inflaming an already intense situation and making assumptions about a situation he knows nothing about. Whatever happened to calling for everyone to calm down? For someone who constantly complains about fake news, he certainly does a lot of it.

2. I honestly don’t know why everyone is piling on against Andre. I find his posts informative. As in Marjorie’s latest great post, people will pick what they want to hear out of astrology anyway. Bias is everywhere. If people start panicking from Andre’s posts, they are likely to be panicking anyway. I think it’s best to have all the possibilities and then we can pick our responses. Andre, thank you for your inputs.

3. I had a father who very much reminds me of Trump.
   My father, as a child and teenager, he was very troubled. In my father’s case, he was also very intelligent, but extremely troubled. My father ( he was born in 1936 ), he got the old cannons to work again, he fired them off and shot actual cannon balls into the side of the old courthouse building where they were facing. My teenaged father apparently called the police chief and made a verbal threat. This was a small town, so the police chief called my grandmother to inform her that my father would be arrested if he was seen outside at night. My aunt, my father’s older sister, was 6 yrs. older, so she was required to watch my dad when mom had to go out. My aunt told me that my father shocked her, he was just a child and he physically threatened her with a knife. My aunt tied my father to a tree and refused to watch him or be alone with him after that.

   If it was not for my father rejecting me and basically abandoning me by the time I was 12, I did not realize it at the time, but strangely he saved me, because had I lived with him, I would have taken my life out of frustration. My father was sometimes funny, but mostly he was angry, vengeful, physically violent, often drunk and extremely sexually promiscuous.
   Anytime I hear Trump verbally express his anger, I hear my father in his words and actions. I shudder in fear and I believe Trump is extremely dangerous.

   My father never had a plan or an agenda outside of himself. My father’s needs were all that mattered. He held a federal government job that gave him great security. My father was mostly angry. Despite all that he had, he was just chronically angry. He had no ability to nurture, or to promote hope.

   I say all this because under Trump, there is no hope. I actually agree with Andre about this. Trump’s personality is truly unusual, as was my father’s. Trump has zero desire to lead or help. Trump is motivated by his chronic compulsive anger. Trump has given authority to other equally hateful people. Chronic hatred is real. Misogyny is real. I personally do not see anything hopeful on the horizon as long as Trump is our president. I do not believe that we will ever be a democracy again. I think the power has been corrupted and the evil entrenched is legion.

   I have no idea why my father was the way he was. His mother, my grandmother, was an angel, a wonderful loving compassionate good person. Anyway, sorry for the long winded post but I am so sad. There is a documentary, made back in 1991 or ’92. It is extremely well researched and presented. It is available to watch free on YouTube. It is called ” Trump – What’s the Deal?”. They tried to warn us back in 1991. I recommend watching it if you want to see reality. Very sobering indeed.

   • I just wanted to add that like Trump, my father was also under suspicion by police. My father beat my mother so badly that my mother was hospitalized in the same hospital where my dad worked. I think I was 11, I remember seeing my mother laying in the hospital bed, her face was so swollen and bruised that I did not recognize her. My dad divorced her to run off and marry a younger, more attractive childless woman who was also married.

     After my dad married this woman, she told me that police showed up to talk to my dad. They moved to an apartment complex, a female neighbor reported to police that she saw my dad spying at her thru a window. This is one of many times that my father would be accused of something horrible by police.

     Trump has already shown us what he is. Those who refuse to believe are the enablers that every narcissist has. Those of us who are rational and sane are left to pick up the pieces. I truly believe we are too broken to be fixed. I believe sadly that the damage is now too widespread.

     I also believe that Saturn/Neptune is exactly what the late astrologer Isabel Hickey sad it was in the book ‘Astrology- A Cosmic Science’. I believe Saturn/Neptune brings on Civil War.

     • Hi. The Republicans in Congress can end this any time, even on a weekend. Republican voters (majority of which are white) can also do much to stop him. I don’t think these two groups ever will, though. There is something so profoundly different about Trump’s essence. I do think that much of the cult will end after he dies. My mother is just like him. She believes he can never fail and can only be failed. She’s so enthralled and she’s a narcissist who values attractiveness above all and yet, his shellacked orange makeup doesn’t even bother her in the slightest. She’s of the 1938 generation. Scorpio sun, Taurus moon, Aries rising. So bitter and so brittle. The feminist movement completely passed her by. All she wanted for me was to marry someone rich. Her tone of voice, cadence, vocabulary level—exactly like his. So triggering. Also believes that no help should be given to the disabled. And she’s so racist, she will not engage with Black persons. She will walk out of her bank rather than have to engae with a Black bank teller, for example. When she dies, her small patch of America (Midwest) will be greatly healed.

       • I used to think that it will be great when the hateful, wrongminded old dinosaurs die off. But holy crap, there are younger people with the same old mindset coming up. I guess it’s just the whole human experience that needs to keep working on compassion etc for others, animals, Mother Earth etc. I’m happy I’m old, I’m tired.

4. Has anyone seen the body-cam video of the ICE officer that came to a juddering halt at the moment a vehicle ramming into him would fir the official version of events? And someone mentioned the children’s toys in the glove compartment but failed to mention the box of adult diapers on the rear bench. I know that women can have problems after dropping three children but is it not more likely that she did not want to have to look for rest rooms during a day’s protesting? I am wary of official versions of events but we have to follow the evidence.

   • You left out the fact that the killer called her an effing b after he killed her.
     That guy was super angry before he shot her.
     You can see him running out of the vehicle with the gun already in his hand.
     It is funny that you claim that he was hit by the vehicle but he certainly didn’t seem injured when he walked away from the scene trying to hide his face (conciseness of guilt) when he realized that he was being filmed.

   • It was me who mentioned the stuffed animals in the young mother’s glove compartment, but I struggle to understand why you think I ‘failed’ to mention these mythical ‘adult diapers’, a detail which appears to have no basis in reality whatsoever. A dive into this tells me there is no credible information, either from news sources or police reports that adult diapers were found in the back of her car.

     • I wondered about that remark posted as well.
       I believe it is a revenge post, because Trump is frequently accused of or surmised to have his own incontinence issues. In other words, deflection.

       So, on that logic, is it officially Open Season to shoot and kill protesters or anyone ballsy enough to speak out? Is the new battle cry, ” Do not fire until you see the box of adult incontinent Depends” ????

       ( Sorry Marjorie, we are all riled up and this is an Astrology of Today’s News column ). Isn’t there a particularly touchy opposition going on right now, involving a smashup in Capricorn?

       • Capricorn yes but I suspect this is Neptune in Pisces’ swansong – a vengeful smokescreening of what happened. Reality twisting. So you have no idea what happened and who is in the right.

         • @Marjorie, I agree on this being fully Neptune in Pisces event. However, we know what happened here – this was excess of force in any case.
           Some of the statements that are pure gaslighting by the US politicians won’t reflect well on them after Neptune leaves Pisces. I’m thinking Vance in particular. Sun/Mars/Venus square his Libra Moon (and Usha’s Venus/Sun was directly hit). His Ohio home was vandalized earlier this week, but that failed to make bigger news.

         • Yes, the stellium in Capricorn has been squaring my Libra Sun and is now moving forward to conjunct my Saturn, and wow – I’ve recently been feeling more irritable and tetchy than my Libra Sun will usually allow!

     • There are photos on X of a box of adult diapers in car posted by someone but the driver is not the same woman, it’s another person at the protest.

       • Did Officer Ross call an ambulance after he shot her? It’s always so incomprehensible to me when officers shoot someone and then they don’t immediately call for an ambulance. There could be a chance that the shooting victim is still alive. I will never understand why they don’t make a call.

         • No, it did not appear that he called for an ambulance.
           Ross first ran towards Ms. Good’s vehicle after it crashed, then upon being confronted about the shooting by Caitlin Callenson ( the neighbor who was recording the livestream) and others, Jordan ran back, jumped into the SUV he arrived in, and fled the scene.

           The video Ross recorded with his cell phone soon after arriving on scene ( not his body cam video, as confirmed by a DHS spokesperson) provide more important details: Ross began recording while he was standing on the passenger side of the vehicle, engaging with Becca Good. If you pay attention to his reflection on the vehicle you can see him switch his cell phone to his left hand, then use his right hand to draw his gun from the holster as he walked towards the front of the vehicle. Meanwhile the ICE agents on the other side of the vehicle who were first on scene had ordered Renee Good to move. She responded “ I’m pulling out now”, and turned the wheels inward, as Ross circled round to the front driver’s side, and fired a shot through the windshield, wounding Ms. Good. She slumped forward, causing the vehicle to accelerate, and careen down the street, as Ross fired two more shots into the vehicle through the open driver’s side window.

           It should be noted that Ross, and the other ICE officers who arrived in the second SUV were operating in violation of DHS / DOJ officer protocols, as well as yelling orders at Ms. Good that conflicted with the order to move given by the ICE agents who were first on scene. Ross should never have been closing in on the vehicle while on foot, per federal protocols. My guess is that as a combat veteran he may well have PTSD, which would explain why he panicked, then began shooting, instead of just backing away from the vehicle.

           Aside from Renee Good’s death, the most disturbing aspect of this tragedy is that the public reaction immediately devolved into chaos, with many comments tracking along the lines of Red Team / Blue Team, while this administration’s official narrative consisted of vilifying the victim / glorifying the officer, instead of an analysis what happened, and how to avoid future incidents of police violence by ICE officers in the course of duty.

   • I was interested to see body cam footage. It was released yesterday and shows a very different version of events than what the MSM was initially reporting.

     They reported that Renee was terrified for her life. However, she was smiling and taunting officers as was her wife who was filming the whole thing. Literally zero fear. I find it interesting that her wife has not released any of her video.

     MSM said the officer was not hit.
     He was hit HARD.

     MSM said Renee didn’t know who the officers were. Clearly false from the new footage, she and her wife knew EXACTLY who they were.

     MSM said Renee wasn’t involved in any ICE-related activities. Again, false. The wife clearly states in the video they are going to harass ICE “later”.

     MSM said Renee was peacefully trying to leave the scene. No, she slammed on the accelerator directly into the officer, even when she had nearly a full minute to leave the scene prior to him being in front of the car.

     What is beyond insane to me is that Renee’s wife screams at her “Drive! Drive!” when law enforcement commands her to exit the car.

     I would love to know what others think of the video.

   • She wasn’t protesting. My understanding is that was where she lived; her house nearby. Correct me if I’m wrong. Add on: I had to buy adult diapers fo my elderly father and those were stored inside my car many times. But, really -who cares if household necessities were in her car? How is that relevant?

5. The George Floyd stuff also happened in Minneapolis, didn’t it? Can you compare the current crisis to the chart for the Floyd chart?

   Also, the US Sibley chart (5:14 p.m. Philadelphia) has the IC at 2 Aries. It’ll be affected by the Saturn-Neptune conj. Is a 2 degree orb too weak?

   • Candy, Saturn Neptune has a range of possible outcomes from healing, medical advances, power to women etc etc. Civil war is way down the list of probabilities

6. As a Tennessee resident, I have family in law enforcement and all of them (even the ones that support Trump) felt the officer mismanaged the scene.
   I wonder if this is a situation where Trump wins the battle but loses the war. A few days ago, all Republicans could crow about was the benefits scandal that got Walz to forego the next election. But now? I suspect Democrats will retain the governorship and perhaps pick up a few additional elections.
   Scamming money vs killing Amercans? If this is a lesser of two evils, I think I know how independents at least will lean.

7. This is horrible, my heart aches for you Americans. I’m writing to you from the UK although originally from Portugal.

   I strongly believe in Abraham Lincoln words ‘You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time’ or Charlie Chaplins’ ‘nothing is permanent in this world’.

8. There have been other ICE shootings on the West Coast. They will soon become a daily occurrence as terror becomes institutional. This is the year that the US becomes a dictatorship like Russia. All those business-as-usual astrological forecasts for 2026 were hogwash. Those who put any hope in the midtems will be bitterly disappointed. Great fortitude and soiritual strength will be needed in coming years. They are there if you know where to look. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction in February should bring great hope for humanity, but not necessariily for the US at this time.

     Well, you might wanna start hoping things improve for us here in the U.S. because your country (Canada) could be next on Trump’s hit list.

   • Andre. Your postings make me, as a US citizen, want to dig a hole and bury myself. Their tone is hopeless and angry. We’re scared and doing our best to stay informed and resist in whatever intelligent way we can. The wave may be big, but to collapse in despair is useless. More is being asked of us than to ‘give up’ because of an astrology interpretation. Please reconsider your commentary.

     • André – to be honest, I really don’t understand your hopelessness. Unless you think it makes you appear smarter than others. I have been listening to countless mundane astrology podcasts by people such as Nick Dagan Best, Dabney Lawless, and Penny Thornton and while they certainly do point to stormy times ahead, none are hopeless. In fact, Dabney had Rosie Finn on her channel the other day with a discussion about Pluto being out of bounds and something being on the South Node (please forgive me, I’m terrible with remembering astrological details) that points more to people power and revolution than anything else. Being hopeless is truly a losing game and will not get you anywhere.

     • I quite agree. Keeping a historical perspective even for the recent past helps to calm anxiety. We survived through the financial crash of 2008, the Iraq debacle, the Cold War, Vietnam, WW11 and WW1 in Europe. Life goes on.
       There is a tendency to assume what is going on now is THE worst it has ever been. The reality is that we have lived through similar challenges and much worse in the past and come out the other side.
       For example the bubonic plague in the 14th century killed one-third of the European human population, with mortality rates as high as 70%–80%.
       And believe me you did not want to be living in the 5th Century AD.

       This too will pass. But Andre give it a rest or you will be blocked.

         from a historical context in the U.S., often enough when people have witnessed their government being fatally violent against peaceful protesters, the president’s approval and political power has taken a big hit and change has eventually resulted. That is no promise that the same will happen in the future, but it is our history.

         When trump loses enough political power, things will change. That’s why they’re gaslighting. They know they can’t afford for the public to see this shooting as what it has been revealed to be.

         This is horrific but we in the states must stay engaged, hopeful and demand change. Not only for our own country but for all of the other countries being threatened and harmed as well as important western alliances.

     • Lisa, thank you. Previously Marjorie has asked him to stop with the absolute doom and gloom. I live near Minneapolis, and the tension here is so thick with the Somali corruption, more corruption in several other state-funded areas, and ICE converging on us everywhere. We need some glimmers of hope.

       • I drove up to your beautiful city from Wisconsin a number of times back when my oldest son was a student at the U of M ( class of 2005), so Minneapolis will always be dear to my heart. It’s been devastating to see the police violence that has descended on Minneapolis this week, giving me flashbacks to the tragic events of 2020.
         The official narrative regarding the tragic death of Renee Good is nothing but fed slop. I’ve practiced criminal law for >22 years, and over the course of time have analyzed hundreds of crime scene videos. It isn’t rocket science. My analysis is based on the original livestream video posted by Caitlin Callenson, who was out for a walk in the neighborhood as events unfolded, along with what appears to be video recorded by Jordan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Ms. Good.
         Notwithstanding my conservative leaning political views, I agree with the other LEOs, and former federal agents who believe the shooting was unprovoked, and that Agent Ross violated DHS / DOJ officer protocols. Anyone who is paying attention can hear the agents order Ms. Good to move, to which she responds “I’m pulling out”, while turning the front wheels inward. Ross was on the opposite side of the vehicle, but had walked around the front to the drivers side, and was already drawing his gun before the vehicle even started to move. He fired the first shot through the windshield just above the wiper blades on the drivers side, which no doubt wounded Ms Good, causing her to loose control of the vehicle. The fact that he fired two more shots is unfathomable. A horrible, unnecessary murder in cold blood that has left her six year old son an orphan, and is now giving rise to a cycle of more police violence and civil unrest. Hopefully the feds will move on to the next target soon, so Minneapolis can recover.

     • Well said, Lisa. I agree. If anything all the crap Trump and his thugs are pulling, all the shootings and attempts to restrict our rights, are only strengthening our resolve to resist and, to use an old American phrase, “throw the bums out.”

       We will get through this and emerge stronger.

       I lived in Paris for two years in the ’70s and recall, still with strong emotion and tears welling in my eyes as I paused to read, all the plaques posted on buildings with a name and “Morte pour la France.”

       We in the US are not at that point yet and ICE is not yet Trump and Miller’s full-blown Gestapo. But if that’s what it takes to resist and remove this fascist regime I think we Americans will rediscover our backbones and spirit of revolution.

       I echo our targeted Democratic senators and especially Mark Kelly’s history-evoking cry:
       Don’t give up the ship.

     Not sure why people feel the need to silence a predictive statement that squares with what we’ve witnessed over at least the past decade, especially when even the examples of survival being offered also involve so many individuals and families who didn’t make through natural and man-made disasters.

     If we want to build solidarity to ensure better survival, censoring more pessimistic predictions in favor of American-exceptionalism-derived rose-colored outlooks can also be incredibly off-putting, especially for community members hailing from historically marginalized groups who have been warning the more privileged people that the corruption and mistreatment they’ve endured can very well be foisted onto the rest of the country/world.

10. I’m so, so sorry, Jaidy, for all your city and state have endured and all the lies Trump and his cronies are propagating. I’m finding myself increasingly angry over all Trump is inflicting on the country and world and keep asking when it’s going to end. Trump, Noem and Miller are getting worse and worse and seem totally unleashed and untethered to reality.

    And today ICE agents shot two more people in Portland, Oregon.

    When will it end? I’m fighting off horror and despair.

    What’s Vance’s chart up to this year? He’s been very quiet, up until today. Could be an intereting year ahead for him though – potentially even more dangerous than Trump.

    • Except that Vance is generally unlikeable and missing whatever it is that Trump has that MAGA people attach to so cultishly. It would be good to look at his chart for that plus his future as Trump’s health may give out before the end of his term.

13. I live here, I’m a teacher, after this happened ICE went to Roosevelt high school maced a dozen students and handcuffed 2 teachers- school was called off for the rest of the week. Krisi N was in st paul terrorizing the east side. Thank you for this look- we are all feeling really angry, last night there were many protests. I teach at a school with a Somali population, they are our neighbors, we love our students, we do not wan’t these families scared, many of our restaurants are shut down in fear. Obviously accountability for the child care scandal is necessary, but we even lost Walz who was really way too far removed from what happened to be the person who loses his job. It feels like we live in a police state, 1984 and Brave New World in this country. RFK jr just tipped over the bloody food pyramid as well.

After already losing the Democrats who were assassinated last summer, your state has really been hit hard with shocking and horrifying violence. I’m so sorry about you all losing Walz via collateral damage, as well, by all accounts students loved him and he has led the state well. (If those folks really cared about Medicare fraud, they would go after the big companies committing it and Sen Rick Scott, who made a record-setting $1.7 billion settlement with the DOJ when his company was found guilty of massive Medicare and Medicaid fraud, wouldn’t be a senator anymore)

      It’s kind of awful living in the U.S. right now. I keep telling myself: This will end, it’s just a question of when.

      • Thank you, Marjorie. I, too, live in the Twin Cities, and the incredible assault on our residents by the feds has been stunning, shocking and heartbreaking. I heard today that ICE was following school busses as they departed schools to gain access to immigrant families as the children stepped off the bus. Understandably, families are terrified. We will continue to resist and to persist in pursuing justice and compassion for our community members.

      • I know I am this board’s eternal optimist, and maybe Sun/Venus/Mars hitting my Moon enhances it, but I have very contradicting feeling about how things will turn in the four (!) biggest international news stories of the past week. I know some people of Venezuelan heritage, and I have to bite my nails in order to not rain on their parade, because I feel the worst has not to come for Venezuela, and an armed, internal conflict is coming unless there will be true, free elections within 6 months and some sort of a “truth committee” established to go through Chavez/Maduro years. I am guardedly hopeful for Iran – it seems that young women in particular can’t be stopped. I still think Trump’s administration isn’t serious about Greenland, and will try bury the whole argument.

        And on ICE overreach, I genuinely think this will bring a change of public opinion in the US. Maybe not so much on Trump, but his administration. Based on Marjorie’s reading of Kristi Noem’s chart, I see not a zero chance of her resigning due to this in February. It’s also likely that she will be indicted, maybe in 2027 after Democrats take both houses and/or Republican politicians whose constituents and donors (ICE raids also hit businesses) feel particularly strongly about ICE operations are forced to act.
