Meghan Markle’s flower sprinkled hostess show has been dropped by Netflix after low ratings with brave words about the virtues of going it alone. Showbusiness and the public arena is no place for the faint-hearted when the best efforts of PR puffs and a loyal fan base don’t produce the numbers.
She does have upbeat Jupiter moving through her 1st house to keep her spirits up from this June onwards for a few months followed by Jupiter through her 2nd house till late 2027 bringing money in.
But there is a gathering storm behind that as tr Saturn this month opposes her Moon, Saturn, Jupiter for hints of gloom and family worries; and tr Neptune picks up the opposition to her Moon from late this May and through this year and on into 2027/28 opposes her Saturn Jupiter for uncertainty and dashed hopes. Along the way just to be complicated tr Pluto will trine her Moon Saturn Jupiter through 2026/27 which could bring positive changes though in challenging circumstances with good luck coming in. At the same time tr Uranus is trine her Moon, Saturn, Jupiter. Again ups and downs.
Tr Pluto will oppose her Mercury in Leo through this year and next for intense discussions and stubborn insistence on what she thinks is right. At the same time her Solar Arc Neptune this year will oppose her Mercury for confusion and indecision. On midpoints as well this year there will be a few catastrophes in May and early 2027 from tr Uranus square her Mars/Pluto midpoint.
Around 2028 she has a whole calamity collection of Solar Arc Uranus opposition her Mars; Solar Arc Mars square her Uranus; and Progressed Mars in a collision with her Sun. In 2028 as well tr Saturn in Taurus will square her Sun and by 2030/31 tr Pluto will oppose her Sun – so she will be undergoing massive personal and personality changes.
Which does not mean she will disappear since tr Saturn is heading upwards in her chart for the next decade almost. But it will be stormy seas. And given her propensity for living a public life it is likely to be all too obvious.
Her relationship with Ted Sarandos, head of Netflix, was never going to survive tr Neptune’s entry into Aries since it undermined their relationship Mars square Pluto.
At a personal level I might feel sorry for her – but as an astrological lesson in the effect of transits etc it will be invaluable.
You can look at a chart several times and then something hits you. Her Saturn is exhalted in Libra and conjunct her Moon. With Capricorn Saturn’s ruler in the sixth and ruler of the 7th house Libra. To date she has appeared to have always left her partners/relationships. Pluto has been transiting her 7th since 2020, which is when she left Britain to return home. Since Pluto moved into Aquarius, relationships have been changeable, especially as it transited her North/South nodes and gradually moved closer to opposing her Mercury, which rules the 3rd where her Moon/Saturn conjunction is. With all the aspects Marjorie has mentioned, Saturn maybe teaching her some very important lessons, regarding communication, relationships in all aspects and responsibility?
