Mark Zuckerburg’s decision to stop fact checking on Meta/Facebook and cosy up to the new Trump administration is causing frissons of alarm.
With Zuckerburg’s Taurus Sun sitting exactly on Trump’s Midheaven it might seem like a match made in heaven for progress with joint ambitions; with MZ’s Jupiter falling on DT’s Descendant which for a nanosecond may give an illusion of mutual support. Though if/when it goes sour it will turn into rivalry and clashing egos. MZ’s Sun opposition Mars in Scorpio does collide with DT’s Mars in Leo and MZ’s Saturn in Scorpio falls on DT’s IC so it is not exactly a warm and comforting combo.
Their relationship chart will hit a few humps and bumps as tr Saturn opposes their composite Uranus, Saturn, Pluto and square Venus now till early March 2025. But it is the composite Mars which is worth focusing on since it will catch the March Aries Solar Eclipse in opposition which may lead to a few eruptions thereafter. There may be some light relief from July with tr Uranus opposition the composite Jupiter.
MZ’s personal chart, 14 May 1964, hints at a fair amount of Uranian turbulence ahead as it is conjunct his Sun after mid March for three weeks; and rattles up a couple of his Mars midpoints from this May onwards. His Neptune in Capricorn also won’t appreciate tr Saturn Neptune in square from late April into 2026 bring uncertainty and disappointment.
One intriguing future influence is his Progressed Mars moving to direct motion and then to square his Saturn – without a birth time it is not possible to time exactly. But this will bring a leap forward of significant proportions followed by a major major setback.
Of the odd bunch surrounding Trump, tr Uranus into Gemini would seem to be one trigger for upheavals, causing tensions between DT and Thiel from this July. The DT/Musk relationship is already under uncertain influences with tr Neptune square the composite Saturn Sun now and on and off till early 2026; tr Uranus causing explosions of impatience now in opposing the Mars now till mid March 2025; and upsetting the applecart by 2026/27.
Musk and Dominic Cummings is a definite no-no with serious dislike which is worsening from mid 2025 onwards. Ditto Musk and Bannon and Thiel.
Zuckerburg and Musk, between whom there is no love lost at the best of times, will hit major problems in 2026 and on with tr Saturn Neptune square the composite Mars and tr Uranus conjunct the composite Venus.
It’ll be like trying to herd feral cats keeping this lot in line with their master’s bidding.

Thank you! I think at least part of Musk’s and Zuckerberg’s issues come from the EU regulation. I remember, back in the late 2010’s, how Zuckerberg reacted to impending GDPR implementation. I think that at one point, he threatened to withdraw from the European market. Ultimately our business was too large to loose, but Meta business never recovered of this entirely. Facebook is basically all random groups now, and Instagram got hit by Snapchat first and TikTok later.
Another thing I see happening might be a backlash to Zuck’s slide to manosphere with visits to popular podcaster such as Joe Rogan and talk about how businesses need more “masculine energy”. This is bizarre talk from a guy whose businesses have been keenly adapted by women – especially Instagram, which is more popular among women than men. But I guess it comes from Moon/Mars in Scorpio, which I’d expect to be rather tight aspect even if the birth time isn’t exact.
In addition to EU regulation, they’ll be hit by people choosing to “cancel” them. People have abandoned X and are not buying Teslas, and since MZ nixed fact-checking on Met sites I’ve seen more people fleeing there as well, though it remains to be seen how much depletion occurs. FB will retain people who have built communities in the groups, but Threads can be replaced with Bluesky and there are other image site than Instagram, which is all ads now anyway.
Meanwhile, subscribers quit the Washington Post in droves because of Beso’s interference and several ex-Post journalists have set up a new journal, The Contrarian that’s gaining subscribers.
Yes, the Metropolitan Police now no longer use X because of the dangers of misinformation and the promotion of far right content and racism, following consultation with the public and business representatives. The Guardian have also dropped X. Plus, I think ‘people power’ will be one of the features of Pluto in Aquarius.

I’ve been thinking about Uranian themes unfolding at the moment, partly because Donald Trump seems like a Uranian figure – all that chaos and disruption – and partly because Uranus was in Gemini when it was finally discovered, and is heading there now with themes of social media, communications, and so on.
Trump’s natal Uranus is 17 Gemini, conjunct Sun 22 Gemini, Nodes 20 Gemini with the Moon 21 Sagittarius. A number of astronomers had seen Uranus before Herschel nailed down the arrival of a “new” outer planet. “Now you see me, now you don’t” might symbolise the tricky nature of Uranus as The Magician?
Both the March 13th 1781 discovery chart and the USA Articles of Confederation, March 1st 1781, have Uranus at 24 Gemini. Pluto was 6 Aquarius for Uranus, and 5 Aquarius for the AoC – some more resonance with current times. The Articles of Confederation also have the Mars conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius that suggests intermittent stop/start energy, and perhaps frustration or even aggression. They connect with Trump’s natal chart. Neptune of that era was 4-5 Libra, Trump’s natal Neptune – 5 Libra. What is the Cosmic Joker up to?!

Since there’s a Lunar Eclipse at 23 Virgo, opposing the Discovery Sun at 23 Pisces one day after Uranus’ “birthday” in March, I’m wondering about that 1781 moment. Tr Saturn will be 22 Pisces – pushing on DT’s natal Sun and Moon, and bringing the Discovery’s own mutable t-square into focus – Sun in Pisces, Mars 23 Sagittarius, Saturn 19 Sagittarius, Uranus 24 Gemini. Zuckerberg’s Solar Arc Gemini/Sagittarius axis is in focus, quite indigestible for a Taurean individual I imagine. Even one working in a Uranian industry.
