Israel has struck out at Iran as Washington continued to attempt a negotiated agreement with Teheran in the face of possible nuclear escalation. What flags up in several charts is 4 degrees Cardinal which tr Neptune Saturn will square in 2026 so the tightrope act will continue.

When 7 October 2023 attack happened tr Mars was exactly on the late Libra Ascendant square tr Pluto conjunct the IC for a brutal attack on Israel’s territory; with the Solar Arc Midheaven conjunct the 12th house Neptune for undermining panic. Tr Uranus was also conjunct the Taurus Sun with tr Jupiter conjunct the North Node in the ‘relationship’ 7th – perhaps amplifying Israel’s neighbourly problems.

The next New Moon on 25 June 2025 is at 4 Cancer exactly conjunct Netanyahu’s natal Uranus opposing his Solar Arc Moon at 5 Capricorn and square his 2022 Term Solar Arc Moon at 5 Aries. On November 4, Mars at 0 Sag will oppose Uranus at 0 Gemini but will make an out-of-sign trine with Saturn and Neptune in late Pisces and an out-of-sign square to all those late Leo charts. That could be the next turning point.
Interesting timing – that’s a couple of weeks after Oct 18, when time runs out on a lot of the sanctions against Iran, unless ‘snap back’ is agreed (which seems unlikely now given the time it take to make it official – although it’s possible Israel is currently trying to provoke Iran into doing something that triggers sped-up action?!).
Mars will also square the US Moon at that time, which means the American people will be agitated.

Only a few minutes after the declaration of the state of Israel (which was read out loud on radio by David Ben Gurion, 16 minutes into the speech he started at 4pm), Harry Truman in Washington sent out a press release to confirm it, at 6:11 pm. So, there are at least 3 times to consider:
Tel Aviv, 4:00pm (start of the declaration gathering in Tel Aviv), 16 minutes later Ben Gurion actually declaring the existence of the state (approx. 4:16pm) and 6:11pm in Washington, when Truman gave it his blessing. Finally, there is the official start time of midnight on May 14, 1948.
Arguably, there would be no state of Israel without Truman’s signature on that press release. Also, the declaration by the signatories in Tel Aviv was not completed on May 14, even by midnight, but some time later when all the signatories had managed to sign since they were not all present at the meeting in Tel Aviv (similar to the US Declaration).
So, what was the “actual” birth time of the state of Israel -when did the baby’s lungs suck in their first breath? I would say the baby could not have survived without Truman’s immediate recognition (which, indeed, was done in a big hurry, and on Truman’s sayso alone – refer founding of Israel on Wikipedia). I would have said the 4.16pm is the better chart. I’ll add a para above. What may seem rationally sensible is not always the chart that works. The USA was backed into a corner in 1948 over Israel when the president’s hands were full coping with Europe in the aftermath of WW11 and the impression is he said yes just to get it off his plate since the UK and UN had failed to find a solution agreeable to both Arabs and Jews.

It has Jupiter 27 Aquarius with Neptune 26 Aquarius, so has been under Uranian pressure, and is in line for the February 2026 Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, and the Mars in Aquarius square Uranus which follows it.
BRICS has Moon 29 Pisces with Uranus 26 Pisces – energised by this September’s Solar Eclipse, plus Saturn 15 Virgo – September’s 15 Pisces Lunar Eclipse. So it seems they are in the spotlight, and their members include Iran.
Of interest re the approaching Lunar Eclipse – the Israel/Iran composite has Pluto 15 Virgo. Netanyahu’s natal Saturn, 15 Virgo. Plus, as you write:

The network of relationships and alliances between these countries is a complex one. It’s impacted by the war in Ukraine, current tensions between Israel and Iran, and ongoing trade with Russia. I’d guess communications behind the scenes between at least some of the BRICS members are flying back and forth, and may possibly be helpful in terms of finding a way towards de-escalating things. An uneasy peace is probably the best we can hope for though.
The Times reporting that the Washington Military/Birthday Parade tomorrow evening may be cancelled due to thunderstorms being forecast and lightning could endanger the attendees.

At this point, this appears to be a crushing victory for Israel. Hopefully, it will lead to regime change in Iran. Much as I am strongly opposed to Israel’s treatment of Palestinians, I do believe it has the right to defend itself pre-emptively against a plausible Iranian nuclear attack. Also, this weakens Putin because Iran is his ally and has supplied him with drones against Ukraine.
Astrologically, I am somewhat surprised that the Uranus-Mars square in Israel’s chart (and Natanyahu’s) will repeat twice in the coming year. It would appear now that there would be no need for repeated similar action. I am not concerned about a wider war unless China, the main buyer of Iranian oil, steps in.
It seems that Israel has defeated all its enemies and will build its third Temple. The Neptune aspects to Israel’s chart and Netanyahu’s can be taken as approval from the harsh Jewish God. The Palestinians will suffer the fate of the Gazans in the Bible, which describes more than one mass slaughter. Arabs often say: « God willing ». Well, He clearly is not willing to help them against Israel.
The verse they used to name the operation Rising Lion is particularly interesting in light of your comment. It is the part of the Bible where Balaam takes Moabite resources to curse Israel but all his words are blessings. “The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest until it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.” Netanyahu also pointed out the clock counting down to Israel’s destruction.
The attack chart has the Gemini Sun rising. The Rising Lion. The Sun is in a T-square to the nodes. Last year, at the conjunction of Jupiter-Uranus, the astrology indicated there was a new law coming. They were on the symbol “a finger pointing in an open book” which I took to be an allusion to the Middle East in particular Babylon and Persia due to the story of the writing on the wall. The 22° Pisces Mars was on “a man bringing down the new law from Sinai.” Both symbols were about new law. I will have to go back and look at Israel’s version of the new law chart.
The nodes of the attack chart are on 22° – Virgo Pisces. Based on the chart, I’m not sure they got the nuclear program. The attacks are hitting the program’s support but there is nothing directly lined up on the program itself. Maybe the machines are gone but I think the key scientists are alive or the enriched uranium is still safe. Aquarius Pluto in the 9h. Possibly the second strike you allude to is in the future. Mars will conjunct Pluto in late January 2026.
