And uncertainty and worry will come before then from tr Neptune square his Saturn just after the middle of this month till late December. The shambles at the heart of Boris Johnson’s No 10 sojourn is being laid bare in excruciating detail at the covid inquiry. Back into the limelight today sharpening his quill to give evidence is the poisonous Dominic Cummings. His selection by BJ to being the in-charge-of-everything Svengali was an astrological mystery since everything in the other’s chart is at cross purposes.
BJ’s windmill-in-a-hurricane Mutable T Square of Uranus Pluto opposition Saturn square Mars in Gemini collides head on with Cummings’ Mutable T Square. DC’s Saturn in Gemini is conjunct Boris’s focal point Mars with DC’s Sun Neptune opposition Boris’s Mars; and square his Uranus with Cummings Pluto trine Boris’s Mars. Cummings’ Mars in Pisces is conjunct Boris’s Saturn and opposition his Uranus Pluto – and that is some heap of aggravation and potential for resentment. A destructive/ self-destructive Mars Saturn feste.
The relationship chart does little to clear up the puzzle – there is admittedly a controlling composite Sun Pluto; but there’s also a highly stressed and over-heated Yod of Neptune sextile Pluto inconjunct Mars Saturn. It looks an exceptionally masochistic connection. The aggravated composite Mars North Node Saturn in Aries was elbowed by this month’s Solar Eclipse in opposition.
At the time of his appointment Matthew Parris described Cummings as “a brilliant and prosecuting intellect. One of the sharpest tongues in modern political history, and a free spirit who cares not a jot whom he offends or what people think of him. Mr Cummings has a mind which is the very antithesis of Mr Johnson’s: logical, razor-sharp, directed, and ideologically remorseless.”
“That he will fall out with his new master within months is almost certain. That, when he does, the world will know about it in coruscating language, equally so.” “ (BJ) has set his own time bomb ticking. And in Mr Cummings, he has appointed his own literary executioner.”
All water under the bridge now and Dominic Cummings is facing the same Saturnine slog as Boris over the coming eighteen months. But it does feel like full circle to an unbelievable damaging phase.
Boris’s throwaway thought to avoid a lockdown by letting old people die to save the economy is a particularly choice titbit from the inquiry given it was probably the oldies who voted him in.

Neither the DM nor GB News fit with his liberal progressive outlook but he’ll be in the business of earning money and getting a platform so he may not be overly fussy.
He’s in a Saturnine phase which won’t suit his wing-and-a-prayer approach as tr Saturn is hitting his Mars, Uranus, Saturn and Pluto T Square this year up to March 2024. It’s grow-up-and-get-real time with rolling setbacks but he won’t take it kindly. After that tr Neptune is in an undermining square to his Sun and Venus in Gemini from April 2024 on and off till early 2025. Tr Pluto is also square his Scorpio Moon throughout 2024 for emotional and domestic challenges.
What is unquantifiable since his birth time may be marginally out is that both his SA Jupiter and Progressed Mars are sitting on his Midheaven at the moment which should give his career a hefty boost. But if his birth time is out by five or ten minutes that may not hold good in terms of timing.
His relationship chart with GB News is less than settled this month and again late December to early February as tr Neptune squares the Gemini Sun; with a fair amount of upheaval and disruption from tr Uranus opposition the Pluto over the New Year and January to March 2024. His wife Carrie, 17 March 1988, is having a droopy year with tr Neptune conjunct her Pisces Sun into early 2024. But will recover her confidence and drive in 2024/25 as tr Pluto squares her Jupiter.
Her relationship chart with Boris, tied together with a fated yod of composite Pluto sextile Neptune inconjunct Sun North Node, looks to be hitting heavy weather in 2025/26 as tr Pluto opposes the composite Uranus and squares the Saturn. This timing is echoed in his chart with tr Uranus square his Sun/Moon midpoint, his marriage significator. Changes of one sort or another will be afoot.
Ivanka Trump has had her argument that she should not have to testify at her father’s fraud trial rejected. He has been accused of inflating the value of his assets on financial statements and if found guilty will have to pay a fine of at least $250m. Her brothers are also listed as defendants in the case. It is a bench trial with no jury, and the judge is the sole decider.
This month has been rattling her chart, 30 October 1981, NY, with the Solar Eclipse conjunct her Pluto Jupiter in Libra and the Lunar Eclipse catching her Scorpio Sun. So the court decision will have had a considerable impact on her. Her Solar Arc Saturn is also conjunct her Uranus over coming months which will ruffle her calm and may clip her wings with Saturnine authority blocking her Uranian independence and defiance.

From late November to mid December tr Saturn opposes the composite Mars for a setback and an angry outburst between DT and daughter. Her personal chart shows some relief late December into January 2024 with a confident push through 2024 running alongside same as above and failed plans. 2025/26 may be her low ebb with undermining Neptunian Solar Arcs as she hits her mid life crisis with tr Uranus opposition her Uranus.

Friends’ star Matthew Perry has died apparently of drowning after a heart attack in a jacuzzi. He has had a long history of drug addiction though had been clean recently. Behind every comedy there’s often a tragedy. Matthew Perry, the wisecracking Chandler of Friends, the most popular TV show of all time, has revealed all about his relentless addiction problems over decades. It saw him in and out of 15 rehabs and almost killed him in 2018 when his colon burst due to the overuse of opioid drugs, putting him in a coma for two weeks with a 2% survival chance and required a colostomy bag for nine months. During one low point during Friends he was taking 55 tablets of Vicodin each day and his weight dropped to 58kg (9 stone).
He was born 19 August 1969 4.47am North Adams, Massachusetts, with an actor father and a journalist mother who split before his first birthday. He has an entertaining Leo Sun in his upfront 1st house square a filmic and escapist Neptune in the 4th; with an intensely emotional Scorpio Moon also in his 4th opposition a hard-working 10th house Saturn in Taurus. And Venus in sensitive, self-protective Cancer in his 12th.
His childhood does not look to have been emotionally supportive with a Saturn-afflicted Moon, a hidden Venus and missing a strong male role model for a father. His Sun and Neptune are both in hard aspect to the destructive Mars/Saturn midpoint which would create setbacks for him. His Sun/Moon midpoint is conjunct Uranus so finding a stable one-to-one relationship would never be easy for him.
When Friends launched on 22 September 1994, he said he had been praying fervently to be famous, only later to discover it did not solve any of his problems. At that point tr Pluto was conjunct his 4th house Neptune which would have a devastating effect before moving to square his Sun the following year as his life changed out of all recognition. Tr Neptune Uranus were also hovering over the opposition to his Venus.
When he hit rock bottom in June 2018 tr Uranus just into Taurus was conjunct his Midheaven for a sudden change of direction; and tr Pluto in his 6th house of health was opposing his 12th house Venus. His Solar Arc Neptune was also hovering on the cusp of his 6th. His Progressed Moon was conjunct his Sun a month or so after he was hospitalised for an internal rebirth. And his Solar Arc Jupiter was wending its way towards a conjunction with his Neptune in the aftermath as he struggled towards a new life.
Saturn has made a full cycle since Friends launched in 1994 as his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing is coming out. It won’t be easy for him but tr Jupiter going through his 10th at the moment bringing attention and praise will help and tr Saturn moving upwards in his chart for the next decade will give him resilience.
Clearly not enough. Drug addiction takes a terrible toll on health.
Singer Buffy Sainte-Marie who has been celebrated through a long career as an Indigenous icon and success story is facing allegations that her roots are Italian/English and not Canadian Cree Indian as she has always claimed. She said she had been adopted but her story is being contradicted by members of her own family, an extensive CBC investigation and a birth certificate.
Assuming this is the accurate birth date – 20 February 1941 3.15 am Stoneham, Massachusetts – her chart is riddled with quincunxes. There are two yods – one onto her Pisces Sun inconjunct an 8th house Pluto sextile North Node and Neptune, and Sun sextile Mars in Capricorn conjunct Ascendant inconjunct Pluto. So the two apex/focal point planets are the Sun and an 8th house Pluto which suggests problems with a) self-esteem and b) the misuse of power. Her 12th house Sagittarius Moon is also inconjunct her Uranus in the performing 5th house, bringing a fractured relationship with her mother/family.
She also has a Jupiter Saturn conjunction in acquisitive Taurus square her Pluto, so again a strange mix of over and under confident.
Her victim/healer 12th harmonic is marked, which is associated with quincunxes. As is her 9th harmonic – usually written up as pleasure seeking or idealistic but can also be seen in con merchant’s charts.
There would be nothing about her life which felt comfortable, with contradictory pulls between differing elements. Earth, Water to Fire. Fire, Earth, Air to Water. She would never feel she fitted into her environment as a child let alone find a way to be at ease within herself.
Her Moon is not only quincunx Uranus it is also in an evasive, uncommitted square to Neptune. Every key element of her life and temperament seems to be at odds with each other.
Seeking a new identity completely divorced from the reality may have been her way of trying to find stability and wholeness, albeit in a fantasy. A sort of Anastasia complex.
Tr Neptune is poised to square her Ascendant undermining her image and then along with tr Saturn square her Mars; with tr Pluto square her 8th house Pluto and tr Uranus square her Sun – all over the next three years.
She denies everything.

He was a Sun Virgo with Neptune Pluto in Gemini opposition Mars Jupiter in Sagittarius maybe square a Pisces Moon. Neptune Pluto has a tendency to live in a fantasy world, having a connection to the supernatural.
Mars opposition Pluto is ruthlessly determined. Mars opposition Neptune keen on publicity. Jupiter opposition Pluto Neptune – both pushily confident and prone to scandal. All of this tying into a sensitive Pisces Moon would create an unstable emotional world. He was involved with five different women through his life, having four children and was a lifelong alcoholic.
In childhood, his parents split and handed him over to relatives. At school he did not mix, ashamed of having been abandoned by his parents, and lived largely in his own world. But it was also marked in Bernie Madoff’s chart – Ponzi schemer who ripped off hundreds. So its pleasure-giving tendencies may be self-directed and part of a con.
Belaney did do good with his environmental work – his interest in it started young. Maybe he reckoned a brand image of being of Indian descent would catch public attention and help get his message across. And it would also give him an identity which his ruptured childhood had denied him.
18 dead, 13 injured – the deadliest mass killing THIS YEAR. For a country supposedly not embroiled in a civil war or a narco/gangster territory the indifference to loss of life in the USA is staggering. The narrative will follow the same tired trajectory. Something must be done. Never again. Change the gun laws. Then it falls off the front page and life goes on as before.
Maine does not have a “red-flag law” that would allow law-enforcement officials or relatives to have weapons taken away from individuals who are viewed as posing a danger to themselves or others.
The man the police have named as a suspect, army reservist Robert C Card was hospitalised earlier this year for mental health treatment after his military reserve commanders became concerned by statements he made targeting his own unit. People who knew Card said that in recent months he described hearing disturbing voices, and had become fixated on the bowling alley and the restaurant where he allegedly opened fire.

The state will be in for two or three years of stress ahead with tr Neptune conjunct the Sun, then Pluto, square Uranus Neptune then conjunct NN and Saturn. SA Neptune and Uranus will conjunct the Mars in Cancer for jolts and jangles between 2024 and 2026. The autumn 2024 Eclipses – Solar 10 Libra and Lunar 26 Pisces will both make an impact on Maine.
This shooting may be symbolic of a massive shake up ahead.
The date given by police for Card, 4 April 1983, if accurate, gives an Aries Sun trine an adventurous Jupiter Uranus in Sagittarius and more ominously Mars in final degree Aries opposition Pluto and Saturn in early Scorpio – which has been under colossal pressure recently from tr Pluto square. Plus his Solar Arc Mars in now exactly in opposition to his Uranus for a trigger to a flare up.
On the USA chart, the final Pluto Return is exact now. But I am more inclined to think that the Solar Arc Sun square SA Saturn colliding with the USA Mars square Neptune between 2024 and 2027 might be what makes a difference, if anything does. The intemperate national defiance about freedom of speech and gun rights might well be reined in by a dose of Saturnine restraint and common sense.
Mike Johnson has been voted in as Speaker which represents a victory for the ideologically right-wing, Trump-aligned faction of the Republican Party and a loss for its moderates. Adam Schiff described him as “one of the very determined ideologues”. He was a key figure in efforts to legally contest the results of the 2020 presidential election, urging Mr Trump to “keep fighting” and “exhaust every available legal remedy”.
Born 30 January 1972, Shreveport, Louisiana, no birth time he was a former lawyer and talk radio host.
He is a Sun Aquarius conjunct North Node trine Pluto and Uranus in Libra with a Leo Moon. His Uranus is in an excitable, uncompromising opposition to Mars in Aries which in turn is in an adventurous trine to Jupiter in late Sagittarius. His Saturn in last degree Taurus opposes Neptune – both stubborn and neurotic. A Fire Air chart – hot air, excitable.
He’ll have a few lucky breaks ahead but also hopes dashed as tr Neptune squares his Jupiter through 2024 and a fairly discouraging slog in the run up to the election. Much worse in 2025 – not a cheerful soul.
His relationship chart with Joe Biden is not surprisingly at daggers drawn from the outset, labouring through this year and worse in 2024.
What is intriguing is his relationship chart with Trump – it has a superficially sugary composite Jupiter opposition Venus so sweetness and light on the surface. Running alongside there is underlying resentment in this case from a composite Mars Saturn conjunction. All of DT’s relationships, even with supposed allies have these aggravated crossovers. Not surprising given his temperament but odd they should support him. Johnson’s Saturn squares DT’s Mars in Leo so it won’t all be plain sailing.
There will be consternation between Johnson and Trump as tr Neptune squares the composite Mars late this November through December 2023 and running on through till late March 2024 as tr Neptune squares the Mars/Saturn midpoint and then the Saturn. It would be too much to hope that Johnson loses his idol to the maws of justice. But there us a decidedly undermining situation ongoing.
Johnson’s relationship chart with Matt Gaetz, instigator of the Speaker switch, is equally moving into disappointed territory from late this December, on and off through till early 2025 as tr Neptune is conjunct the composite Venus Sun.
An intrigue starting to unravel.
Add On: Johnson’s relationship chart with the USA is not encouraging with an evasive, uncommitted, prone-to-disappointment composite Sun opposition Neptune which is under pressure this November to late December; with irritation mounting late April/early May 2024 as tr Uranus is conjunct the composite Mars.
Equally his relationship chart with the Republican 1853 chart is hugely unsettled this year and next with tr Pluto opposition the composite Uranus; undermined late this November through December as tr Neptune squares the composite Jupiter taking the shine off; and trudging through discouragement in 2024.
The jungle drums are beating louder over the prospect of a global financial crisis and it is less to do with world crises like Ukraine and the Middle East and more to do with unsustainable levels of western government debt. Though wars could tip the balance and start the dominoes falling.
“We may be the most dangerous time the world has seen in decades”, says JPMorgan chief Jamie Dimon, the world’s most powerful banker.
The figures are scary. America’s total debt stands at $33.6 trillion, triple the 2007 figure.
In the UK, the national debt, thanks to the financial crisis, an ageing population and the pandemic, has risen from less than £700 billion in 2007 to £2.5 trillion. The UK entered this century with debt at less than 30pc of GDP; now it has risen above 100pc. Interest payments are at their highest levels since the 1980s. The tax burden is at a post-war high, limiting the ability of the government to raise further revenue. Yet in just over 10 years’ time, it is estimated that the NHS will require an additional 800,000-900,000 staff to meet growing demand from an ageing population – and there is no plan to pay for all these workers, the tools they will need, or the buildings they will work in. The day-to-day budget of the NHS may need to increase by 70pc.
The US and much of the West is maxed out on spending and debt even before a potential clash with the prevailing autocracies. There is little understanding of the scale of the sacrifice and economic reorganisation that would be involved if additional spending on security was required to deter enemies and prevent further conflict.
Britain isn’t alone in this. The US is currently on an “unsustainable” fiscal pathway, according to its own Treasury department. The deputy chief economist of the World Bank concurred, describing the post-2010 run-up in debt as “the fastest, most broad based and largest” that the world has ever seen.
All of this pulls together a context to what has been covered in previous posts.
There are a few parallels with 2008 with the recent collapse of a few minor banks and Switzerland baling out Credit Suisse – see previous Banks at risk – will the impossible become inevitable? post March 17 March 2023. But it does not look astrologically similar to 2008 or 1929 or even 1987/1992. What are flagging up red alerts are a whole array of Central Bank charts.
The US Federal Reserve has tr Pluto opposition the Neptune at zero degrees Leo in 2023/24 which usually indicates devastation of sorts and paralysis running for two years after; followed by tr Neptune square the Saturn Pluto conjunction in 2025/26 which won’t be much better. The Bank of Russia has an equally blocked and scary tr Pluto square Mars at zero degrees Taurus in 2023/24. The European Central Bank has Neptune at 1 Aquarius catching the tr Pluto hard aspect in 2024/25. The Bank of China is nerve-stretched in 2022 and worse in 2024 to 2026 with tr Neptune and Solar Arc Neptune both in hard aspect to its overly confident Uranus opposition Mars Jupiter which will deflate confidence considerably. The European Central Bank has Neptune at 1 Aquarius catching the tr Pluto hard aspect in 2024/25. The Bank of Australia highlights 2024/25 as years of panic and uncertainty.
Even the Bank of Switzerland, 20 June 1907, looks mired in consternation and panic now on and off until January 2025 with tr Neptune square its Gemini Sun and conjunct its Saturn. Into 2025 there will be a totally road-blocked Solar Arc Pluto square Mars.
