The Cancer Ingress chart for the summer solstice is anything but peace and love with control-freak Pluto and aggressive Mars on the focal points of two respective yods and the hopeful Sun Jupiter conjunction undermined by a square from Saturn Neptune in Aries. Plus an excitable, uncompromising and explosive Mars square Uranus.
Set for Teheran it puts the neurotic, can-be-uncertain Neptune Saturn exactly on the Midheaven; with the agitated, argumentative Mars in the 3rd and Pluto approaching the cusp of the 8th.
Set for Washington, DC, it puts the formidable Pluto on the Aquarius Ascendant with Mars in the 7th house of friends and enemies and a grandstanding 5th house Sun. [The Iraq attack chart of 20 March 2003 also had a 5th house Sun, located to Washington.]
Located to Beijing, this Ingress chart has a successful 10th house Sun Jupiter with a muffled-anger 12th house Mars, though an influential-player Pluto in the 5th. Plus a financially discouraging 8th house Neptune Saturn.
Located to Moscow gives a trapped (behind the scenes dealing) 8th house Pluto and an outspoken 3rd house Mars.
P.S. I am never sure how well Ingress charts work but the Teheran one does seem to be on point – though that may be coincidence.
ADD ON: What may be contributing to the general sense of unease, uncertainty of direction and dissonance/discordance, being out of step and not knowing how to get onto the right track may in part be due to yods which are in place strongly at the moment. And were in place over the Hamas Attack of October 7 2023 which was the forerunner of present events. Over the Hamas Attack Uranus was sextile Neptune inconjunct Mars in Libra with a reaction point of the North Node in Aries opposition Mars. Plus Neptune sextile Pluto inconjunct Venus with Saturn as the reaction point opposition Venus. And Venus sextile Mars inconjunct Neptune.
The theory behind a yod’s action is is takes time for the stressed pressures to be released – sometimes years in individual cases. Until that time there is discomfort, a sense of being lost, depressed, stuck, hopeless. Once activated there comes a singular sense of purpose and direction.
Because the outer planet shifts of the moment are producing Pluto sextile Neptune and Neptune Saturn sextile Uranus there will be recurring yods in the next several years as inner planets move to inconjunct the sextiles. So there will be further phases of a lack of clarity, of restlessness, of deception self and other, when no amount of pushing will bring enlightenment or resolution – until the time is right.
At the moment there are two yods both involving Mars which is faster moving. They will stay in place until Mars moves out of orb in early July.
Be interesting to watch how the celestial dance plays out.
Israel and Iran have agreed a ceasefire, at least for the moment. The fact there is a New Moon tomorrow conjunct the Israel Venus was indicative that a new phase may have been coming. I was worried that it might have seen a wider escalation of the conflict so I was strangely relieved when I saw the news that the US raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities had taken place on Sunday before the lunar cycle had ended. This does not mean that the war will not have long term ramifications but just that it will not be going down the route so many pundits predicted. One of the key points about recent events was how the US simply by passed its European allies who were once again shown to be indecisive and lacking in leadership. This perhaps highlights the ongoing problem with the way European institutions work when confronted by a crisis. They simply take too long building a consensus to be effective.

Another train of thought could be (and my instinct tells me) that it was deliberate strategy. No-one wanted the bombing to take place but at the same time no-one wanted to say ‘No’ to the US. So stall because it is preferable to appear to mop up & descale behind the scenes than help create/add to (boost Mr T’s gung ho attitude) the mess. I would say most of the population of Europe if polled would have said do not enter this. Sometimes a gentle whisper is just as powerful if not more so, because it could have gone so wrong.
Indeed, Jennifer. It also appears that DT is simply using the conflict for self-aggrandisement, fuelling his obsession with the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s doubtful he has any kind of actual strategy. Chaos is the name if the game with this administration.

Another aspect pattern when you take Juno into account. In the ingress and the USA-Iran bombing. From 17 SC opposit Venus 16 TA. And 135 degrees to Neptune and to Jupiter. A Thor’s Hammer. In the myth this hammer even got through mountains. Juno holds the handle. Although I doubt if Hera got it from Zeus, Juno’s drive and desire is to have an equal relationship with a lot of commitment. When the chart for the bombing is set on 2 a clock Teheran Juno stands on descendant.
All very worrying, no sign of peace then and these maverick countries are going to cause a war or does astrology belie this.
That’s interesting because just double chrcked and Ingress in Cancer conjuncts US natal Venus and Jupiter at 3 and 5 degs respectively. Aries Ingress takes place in 4th house. Astrology is just so intriguing. So is it that when the conditions right a catalyst will always come along and pull the trigger or that they haven’t evolved enough as a nation to know that when the conditions present they know how to resist and keep their finger off, I.e. chose another way?

I read yesterday that the Sun square Neptune has karmic lessons around pride, delusion, grandoisity, ego, lack of humility; so …… hmm what is Saturn bringing to the table at this point?
Interesting to note that both the Iran bombing and the 2003 Iraq invasion occurred on an Ingress (Cancer and Aries respectively).
The Ingress was at 10:42 EDT 20th June 2025 and the B2 bombers apparently took off at 00:01 EDT 21 June 2025. Pluto in the 12th House at Washington in both charts indicates power struggles behind the scenes in Washington and Mars in the 7th House suggest attacks on an external enemy and possibly tensions with allies. Significantly Pluto and Mars were the only planets above the horizon in the US charts. Resetting the actual attack chart to the UK/Europe puts the Sun in the 12th House suggesting their leaders were trapped, confined, weak and possibly deceived. The fact the bombing strike was launched from the USA and largely bypassed NATO air bases in Europe indicates they were largely helpless bystanders with little or no influence over the event.
