Uranus, the catalyst for change, marked Yoko Ono’s life and career and especially her role in the Beatles breakup. Surviving the war in Tokyo she said gave her an understanding of ‘outsider’ status and she went on to become an avant-garde artist and peace activist.

 Born 18 February 1933 8.30 pm Tokyo, Japan, her Uranus in her 7^th house of relationships squared an influential and controlling 10^th house Pluto – she was born into a time of turmoil and disruptions and that set a pattern for her life. Her 5^th house Sun, Venus and Saturn in Aquarius channeled her energy into attention-seeking, creative and humanitarian activities.

 What is intriguing is that her Uranus fell in the 10^th house of John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s relationship chart – splitting them apart; with her Sun opposing their competitive composite Mars Mercury conjunction – so she widened what was already a fault line. Her Pluto fell close to their composite Ascendant, changing their joint image.

  On the relationship chart with Lennon/Harrison her Uranus fell close to their composite IC opposition their composite Midheaven irrevocably shifting the direction of their lives together. Or in this case not together.

 With the Lennon/Ringo Starr relationship chart Yoko’s Uranus fell in their composite First House with her Sun opposition their argumentative composite Sun Mars.

  In each case her Uranus detonated the axis of their relationship charts sending their togetherness off in disparate directions.

  Wallis Simpson who precipitated Edward V11’s abdication also had a prominent Uranus on the focal point of a yod inconjunct Mars sextile Neptune Venus with her Mars opposition an 8^th house Moon.

  Her effect on his close family was devastating – and with her Midheaven falling conjunct the Ascendant of George V1, his younger brother, forcing him to take on the throne, she (deliberately or not) changed his image dramatically.  The situation was different from the Beatles since the Royal Family and the country held together. But the rift shows up clearly in the Duke’s relationship chart with the UK which had an astonishingly bitter and ambivalent Mars Pluto opposition Uranus –  he was already massively resistant to taking on the burden and when she came along with her Uranus-yod-connected Mars opposition Moon sitting exactly on top of the Duke/UK’s composite Mars Pluto opposition Uranus, an explosion was bound to follow.

 Meghan has hints of Yoko’s Uranus Pluto temperament with her Pluto in her family 4^th and Uranus in her romantic/emotional 5th opposition Chiron in Taurus which is inconjunct Pluto sextile Neptune. Her Uranus which has a compulsion towards freedom since it opposes Chiron, sits in the 10^th house of Harry’s relationship chart with Queen Elizabeth 11 – causing Harry to turn his back on his upbringing and the monarchy to which Elizabeth sacrificed her life. Meghan’s Pluto squared the Harry/QE11composite Mars; her Neptune was conjunct the composite South Node; her Saturn was square the composite Moon and her Mars was conjunct the composite Sun. Meghan’s Uranus also fell in the Queen’s rigorously dutiful 10^th house.

  In Harry’s relationship chart with his father, Meghan’s Uranus sits close to the Descendant, rupturing togetherness, with Meghan’s Pluto conjunct the composite Sun as her 4^th house Pluto (need for control of family environment) wielded its influence.

   The divisive quality of Uranus comes into play as a catalyst for liberation and a new direction – or as an upsetter, chaos-creator. It need not be conscious. If there are already undercurrents in a relationship where resentment is mounting but there is not enough courage to make a break, then fate (or free will) hooks in a partner who will upset the apple cart. 

  Though that equally works the other way – an individual with a compulsion to be a family/relationship wrecker because of their own temperament and background will as if by magic alight on a partner who is vulnerable and seduced into playing out their obsession – for a while. 

Interesting way to look at relationship charts. Not just triggered by influences but also by people.

Add On: Uranus was also in evidence in Camilla’s part in the Charles-Diana triangle. Not that Camilla ever wanted to be anything other than a standard aristo mistress as far as friends said, and certainly had no intention of breaking up her own marriage let alone the Charles/Diana marriage. But her Uranus fell in Charles/Diana relationship chart 10^th house and her Cancer Sun was conjunct the composite Uranus. So the celestial dance was on with trickster Uranus leaning in on splits wanting to happen.

  Faye Dunaway, superstar of yesteryear, notorious for being difficult, has a documentary out. Made with her approval it is a ‘misty-eyed homage’ according to one reviewer, though it does admit to her alcoholism and bi-polar disorder. According to Bette Davis she was one of the worst people in Hollywood. Jack Nicholson referred to her as “the Dreaded Dunaway”. Steve McQueen was unflattering and Roman Polanski after Chinatown described her as ‘a gigantic pain.’ Though others talk with praise about her devotion to detail and serious approach.

 No one doubted she was talented with top notch performances in Bonnie and Clyde, The Thomas Crown Affair, Chinatown, the Network and Mommie Dearest. Her beauty and sheer will-driven ambition brought her success as did her infamously high standards though they did not make her popular. Most recently she was fired from a Broadway production because of crew complaints.

Born 14 January 1941 8.15pm Bascom, Florida with a distant military father she was brought up by a single mother, started first on Broadway and then graduated to movies. She has had several liaisons – with Lenny Bruce, Marcello Mastroianni, married a musician, then married Terry O’Neill the photographer – all short lived.

  She has an ambitious and upfront, attention-demanding Sun, Mercury in Capricorn in her performing 5^th house in an Earth Grand Trine to Neptune in Virgo in a creative trine to Uranus in Taurus – a hard worker, goal-oriented and a builder in life. Her Pluto is prominent being trine an argumentative 4^th house Mars, making her home life heated; and her Pluto is also square Jupiter Saturn in Taurus which is extremely Fixed, stubborn and inflexible. Her Leo Moon in her hidden 12^th house squares Uranus and trines Mars – emotionally excitable and irritable. She says her first passion was always work and her emotional life would be unsettled with her Sun/Moon midpoint being square her controlling Pluto; her Moon in aspect to her needs-space Uranus and her 4^th house Mars making her home life argumentative. Her Venus in Capricorn was also inconjunct Pluto for additional strain and intensity.

Bette Davis, 5 April 1908 9pm Lowell, MA, was no slouch in the difficult personality stakes with her attention-demanding 5^th house Aries Sun square a can-be-fanatical/excitable Uranus opposition Neptune. With a controlling, stubborn Moon Pluto in her 8^th square her Mercury.  Their relationship chart had a hostile and competitive  Sun Mars trine Pluto; a needs-space Venus Uranus square Pluto and a beyond chilly Moon Pluto square Saturn.

 Jack Nicolson, 22 April 1937 11am Neptune, NJ, has a Taurus Sun conjunct Uranus in his 10^th house which collides with Faye’s Jupiter Saturn, equally would not find her an easy colleague on set. His forcefully confident Pluto in Cancer opposition Jupiter in Capricorn clashed with Faye’s Capricorn Sun Mercury. Two Titans.

  Steve McQueen, 24 March 1930 12.15pm Indianapolis, IN, had his Aries Sun exactly conjunct Faye’s South Node testing her ability to cooperate; with his North Node square her Pluto and conjunct her Jupiter Saturn – quite a fated match.

  How directors and producers ever managed to get movies made with the giant egos and volatile creative temperaments clashing on set is astonishing.   

Prince William is coping with a great deal, stepping up to be heir, with Catherine still undergoing cancer treatment as is his father, and minus his ‘wingman’ brother.

 Born 21 June 1982 9.03pm London, he has a New Moon in Cancer in his 7^th house of relationships which is an odd mix of needing a partner while being self-sufficient at the same time. His short-tempered 9^th house Mars Saturn conjunction in Libra in his opinionated 9^th is boosted by an influential and stubborn Pluto. A lucky Jupiter in Scorpio on his Midheaven, legacy of a drama-queen mother, will make him highly respected the older he gets and it forms an easy trine to his Moon Sun in Cancer. He has a yod of Pluto sextile Neptune on his Ascendant inconjunct a 5^th house Venus in Taurus Chiron conjunction. A Venus yod focal point would have made him socially awkward initially, finding it difficult to be spontaneous.  With maturity, Venus brings social goals into focus, allowing him to make a difference out in society and also to form more meaningful relationships. Having children will have made a considerable difference in softening down his defences.

  His Venus Chiron conjunction will make him sensitive to conflict and disharmony in relationships around him with feelings of guilt when peacemaking initiatives fail. He would be affected by having warring parents and now a brother at odds.  One result can be to back off and steer clear of the field of battle.  Both his Venus and Chiron are affected by tr Uranus conjunct this year, once already in late June/July, again this November and next April 2025. It will have an emotionally unsettling impact but also, given, the yod, potentially set him off on a different track in life.

 Tr Pluto is square his Jupiter this year (and last) giving him a confidence boost and moves on to square his Jupiter/MC midpoint and Midheaven till late 2025 – both challenging and successful. Though the celestial transition of the outer planets will have a significant effect on him with tr Neptune Saturn in Aries square his Sun and then Moon from May 2025 through till 2027 which could be undermining or softening or indecisive. He is just emerging from a lower-profile few years since 2017 when he wanted to spend more time on his personal life and family. He’ll gradually step up his outer world ambitions and activities but it will be 2028 before he is moving up onto the next level as tr Saturn moves across his IC.

  Tr Uranus will bring his midlife crisis as it opposes his natal Uranus from mid 2025 through 2026 which will be restless.

  His relationship with both King Charles and Camilla has always been subject to fluctuations and there will be ripples and moments of froideur but nothing like as aggravated as Harry with Charles and Camilla.

  With Harry relations give no sign of tensions easing with neither side willing to give way or let go – and that extends right through into the early 2030s as the composite, argumentative Sun square Mars has tr Pluto hard aspects. If anything the early 2030s are likely to exacerbate bad feelings.

 What is intriguing is how Meghan’s birth chart impacts the composite chart between Harry and Will. Her Leo Sun is exactly conjunct their composite Sun; her Uranus falls in their composite 10^th; her Pluto is square their composite Mercury; and her Neptune is conjunct their composite South Node. Whatever fault lines there were in their togetherness which was never as matey as the media would believe, she magnified.

  The relationship charts between William and Catherine with Meghan if anything look to be exploding into more fireworks as tr Uranus squares the composite Mars on both relationship charts – at the same time as William’s Venus is being shaken up.  With more disruptions through 2025 and on. There did seem to be an inbuilt tussle for the upper hand between Meghan and both William and Catherine with a composite Jupiter Pluto in both relationship charts. Meghan appeared not to have grasped that she could not upstage higher rankers in the hierarchy. Pulling together it could have been the fab four but pulling apart it became rancorous.  

The tragic sinking of entrepreneur Mike Lynch’s yacht in a freak typhoon off Sicily with several deaths and others still missing has given rise to unconvincing  conspiracy theories. But there are still a raft of coincidences arguably putting it into the category which Carl Jung called syncronicity – events that coincide in time and appear meaningfully related, yet lack a discoverable causal connection.

In brief: Mike Lynch sold Autonomy, a software maker he founded to Hewlett-Packard for $11 billion in 2011 and was then accused of cooking the books to make the sale. A decade-long legal battle followed and latterly he was extradited to the US, facing criminal charges of engineering a massive fraud. Found not guilty a few weeks ago, he indicated it was his wealth and ability to pay significant legal fees which helped him win.

  He was celebrating his win on his super-yacht, the Bayesian, which had the tallest aluminium mast in the world at 246ft. Eerily his co-defendant in the fraud trial, Stephen Chamberlain, VP Finance, was killed a few days back after being hit by a car as he was running.

  The yacht was anchored as the unexpected tornado hit in the early morning which probably caused it to capsize. The boat was named Bayesian after a probability theory and was built in 2008 as Pluto moved into Capricorn.

 Mike Lynch, 16 June 1965, was a Sun in Gemini square Mars in Virgo opposition Chiron and Saturn; with his Jupiter and North Node in Gemini square a Saturn in Pisces opposition Uranus Pluto. He was exactly on his Second Saturn Return when the accident happened; with tr Saturn opposition his accident-prone Mars/Pluto midpoint; and his Solar Arc Mars/Saturn midpoint in hard aspect to his Neptune.

  At the risk of sounding heartless/tasteless in dragging the tragedy into an astrological context – it could be seen as a swansong event for Pluto in Capricorn, the era of moneyed excess, in which Gemini did appear to play an outsize part. As well as being the high profile event occurring on a day which was expected to throw up momentous events.

Others missing include Jonathan Bloomer, Morgan Stanley Bank International chairman.  And Chris Morvillo, Mike Lynch’s lawyer.

 The sinking happened in the early hours of Monday 19^th around 4am off Palermo, hours before the Full Moon squared Uranus.

Add On: The Bayesian was launched under the name Salute on 13 February 2008, according to reports, near Pisa. That hooks into yesterday’s Uranian Full Moon with the 2008 North Node at 27 degrees Aquarius getting triggered exactly. The launch Uranus at 17 Pisces was also conjunct Mike Lynch’s Saturn at 17 Pisces undergoing his Second Saturn Return exactly at the moment. The launch chart also has a high-jeopardy Mars opposition Pluto. With its Mars in Gemini exactly conjunct Mike Lynch’s Sun. It also has a yod of Mars sextile South Node inconjunct Venus which is being jolted now by the tr Uranus square the South Node.

  All very entangled and oddly unsettling even for astrologers.

  The absurdly handsome French film star Alain Delon, known as the male Brigitte Bardot has died, with Bardot, his elder by a year and many others, singing his praises. He emerged from unlikely beginnings, abandoned in childhood, kicked out of school, with Mafia gangster friends he kept throughout his life. A gilded star, with a colourful and scandalous romantic life, constantly catching the headlines, he became reclusive in his older years and embroiled in a family dispute.   What intrigues me about these megastars of old is the super-charged Plutos and 8^th house planets.

 Delon, 8 November 1935 3.25am Sceaux, France, had a prominent 10^th house Pluto trine Jupiter in Scorpio, sextile Venus – giving him the ability to turn on devastating and persuasive charm. He also had a wayward Uranus on the cusp of the 8^th inconjunct Venus and Jupiter.

 Bardot, 28 September 1934 1.15pm Paris, had an 8^th house Pluto in a confident square to a 10^th house Jupiter opposition Uranus; in a yod sextile Venus inconjunct Saturn. With her Moon Chiron in Gemini in her 6^th house of small animals which no doubt prompted her to her later charitable work.

 Gerard Depardieu, 27 December 1948 8am Chateauroux, France, who also grew up as a street kid before hitting the movie heights, though his icon status has been tarnished by allegations in the days of #metoo, also has Pluto in his 8^th trine a 12^th house Venus. His Uranus on his Descendant is on the focal point of a yod inconjunct a Scorpio Moon and Mars in Capricorn.

 No great conclusions but Pluto, Uranus and yods are a common theme.

 Family aggravations are dogging King Charles as he fends off ill-health all in the midst of finding his footing as monarch barely two years into his reign. The 8^th September sees the anniversary of his accession, a moment both sad and celebratory. His Accession chart for 3.10 pm has the 3^rd house of siblings inhabited by a cool, critical, realistic Saturn conjunct Moon and a confused, slippery Neptune; while the 5^th house ruling children has a Taurus North Node demanding effort, and a wayward Uranus.

  His 10^th house zero degrees Taurus Moon suits him for a public role but the Moon also rules family and body, so tr Pluto in square over last year and exactly now till early September and finally late November to end of December was always going to bring immense challenges in various arenas of his life. On top of that his Progressed Moon will exactly oppose his 1^st house Pluto by mid this September so will add another layer of potential family angst.  

  Reports are that Prince Andrew’s security, a ten man operation funded by King Charles, will end in October, suggesting the forced move from the Royal Lodge will take place against Andrew’s resistance. Prince Harry is also causing irritation with the quasi-Royal tours he is taking and his constant bickering about UK security etc etc etc.

  King Charles does look weighed down with his Solar Arc Saturn conjunct his 4^th house Sun at the moment and exact in two months. Tr Neptune is also squaring his adventurous Uranus opposition Jupiter now on and off till early 2026, joined early in 2025 by tr Saturn also square. Given that his Mars Jupiter in in his natal 5^th house that might suggest more chills on the Harry front.

  Charles is also on alert exactly now with the Full Moon square Uranus hitting his Mars/North Node midpoint at 27 degrees Aquarius so is more likely to be embroiled in upsets and arguments. That repeats on and off till early 2026.

Prince Andrew, 19 February 1960 3.38pm London, always did look to be on the move this year with tr Uranus opposition his 4^th house Scorpio Moon. It repeats again this November and next April. Scorpio Moons hate letting go so it may be a lengthy tussle.  Though Charles is equally stubborn and his relationship chart with Andrew has the composite Pluto also at 25 degrees Fixed so the Royal tug of war may soon be over as Andrew is forced to throw in the towel.

Andrew’s 4^th house Neptune has Solar Arc Pluto sitting exactly on top of it over coming months which will be domestically devastating, pulling away illusions and delusions about his ideal (entitled) home.  Plus he has a yod onto a defiant, wayward 1st house Uranus inconjunct Saturn sextile and 8^th house financial Mercury. One leg of the yod will be battered as Progressed Mars is conjunct the Mercury over coming months which will move his life onto a different track. By early 2026 his Solar Arc Neptune will conjunct Saturn on the other leg of the yod for uncertainty and more change.

 Harry, 15 September 1984 4.20 pm London, wanders on in exile looking increasingly miserable and directionless, murmuring philanthropic inanities, and seemingly incapable of understanding why his behaviour has tripped him into the sinkhole in which he is trapped.

 Tr Saturn has another 18 months moving through the nadir of his First Quadrant, which can bring financial shortages but is also a time that unresolved psychological issues surface and need to be addressed. And is not a time of spectacular success on the career front. Staying low profile is usually a help. At the moment he has his Solar Arc Pluto conjunct his 11^th house Uranus so something is trying to propel him into changing his long term plans and goals. Tr Uranus conjunct his 4^th house Taurus Moon earlier this year which might have indicated a domestic move may also have been soaked up in the jangled and mishandled relationship with his father. A downbeat Solar Arc Saturn will square his Sun in 9 months and his SA Midheaven will conjunct his Neptune in 2026 for more indecision and dither about what comes next.

  His relationship with his father was always fraught from the start with a composite Mars square Pluto Uranus – and that is being buffeted by tr Saturn hard aspects this year until March 2025. Not much sunshine breaking out there. And the tr Saturn Neptune in Aries will square the composite 8^th house Jupiter mid 2025 through 2026 further dampening confidence and enthusiasm.

 Harry’s relationship with Meghan is showing panic and disappointment this year, 2025 and through into 2026 with tr Neptune opposing the composite Mars and then Venus – which could hint that business ventures do not produce the required results. And then moves into a Uranian patch in 2026/27 as tr Uranus in Gemini squares the composite Sun and opposes Uranus – at the very least they could decide to pursue separate career ambitions but it will surely be disruptive.

 One tends to forget that Queen Elizabeth 11 had years of coping with her errant sister Margaret as well as the Wallis Simpson tensions, Prince Philip’s high-octane social life and her mother’s wild overspending etc etc.  Twas ever thus.

A Uranian summer has not been a balmy affair with the USA election jolted onto a different trajectory plus an assassination attempt, the UK in turmoil, the Middle East poised on a knife edge and Russia startled by a surprise turn of events with Ukraine’s fight back. This coming Monday sees an Aquarius Full Moon exactly square Uranus which coincides with the Democratic Convention with tr Uranus opposing Joe Biden’s Sun as he mourns his forced exit.

The Full Moon chart when set for Iran puts Pluto on the Midheaven which may be relevant to what comes next after Israel’s recent killings inside Iran.

  Odd thoughts about Uranus.

As Urania’s children, astrologers usually have prominent Uranus aspects in their charts, prompting them to walk a singular path and explore hidden truths despite mainstream contempt.  

  In astrology Uranus, the lightning god, has a reputation as a disrupter – for good as a liberator and innovator when faced with overdue reforms, not so great when in a contrarian mood it rocks the boat out of sheer mischief.

  Both ancient myths associated with Uranus highlight its divisive nature. Ouranos, the sky god, married to Gaia the earth mother, rejected one or more of his children. Gaia persuaded her other Titan sons to rebel and Kronos (Saturn) castrated his father. The sky-god’s blood fell on the earth, producing the avenging Erinyes and the Gigantes (Giants). Thus producing an eternal war between the sky (= ideas and ideals) and the earth (= the flesh, practicalities, money and the limits of time.) 

 The other myth is Prometheus, an immortal god seen as the champion of mankind who defied his Olympian brothers by taking fire from them and giving it to humanity in the form of technology and knowledge, thus promoting civilization. For this he was punished, bound to a rock, and an eagle (symbol of king god Zeus) was sent to eat his liver, thought to be the seat of human emotions. His liver would grow back overnight, only to be eaten again the next day in an ongoing cycle. Again the theme is a splitting apart – of Prometheus from his brother gods with their arrogance to benefit the formerly powerless, but at a physical and emotional costs to himself.

 In both above myths punishment of a grossly earthy kind followed their actions. Defying authority and power figures is a Uranian theme, no matter the consequences.  Uranus is also seen as anti-biology, not rooted in the body, and although it may promote Utopian ideas about nature, does have a visceral dislike of the grosser aspects of the materialistic and fleshly earth realm.

  Uranus shares with Mercury a trickster quality making it difficult to determine in advance whether the effect of Uranian influences will be liberating and progressive or one of anarchy and chaos. Defiance and lawlessness are in its repertory.

 Family and close personal relationships are not made easier by the presence of Uranus with its dislike of compromise, lack of adaptability and insistence on protecting individuality and independence over cooperation. Connected to the nervous system, it leads to a highly-strung temperament, prone to impulsive actions – and in certain cases to violence.

  Uranus is renowned as a mould-breaker, an innovator and reformer but it also has an interest in the far distant past.   

 More than anything Uranus wants to stand out from the crowd even if seen as a maverick, eccentric and an oddball.

 In a personal chart conjunctions or hard aspects to other planets ramp up the volatility of Uranus.

Uranus Mars is explosive, literally in conflicts, and reckless in personal behaviour. It leads to over-reactions since sudden events threaten to dent self-esteem and leads to macho gestures in response.

Uranus Saturn – can be autocratic, ‘do as I do not as I say’. In good aspect it can merge the best of the old with the best of the new.

Uranus Neptune – can be fanatical, hanging onto beliefs despite incontrovertible evidence. Associated with earthquakes. And with religious art.

Uranus Pluto – revolutions and rebellions which can sweep away outdated regimes and situations. But can also led to chaos and anarchy if stability is not established after the upheaval.

  There is an interesting analogy from plant biology of the need for a balance between creativity and structure.  Plants have to evolve with changing circumstances but they cannot be in a state of creative fluidity all the time. The changes once made need to be established and built into the plant’s structure over time. Uranus and Saturn need to come to an accommodation with each other’s given role.

  Uranus is by no means always a positive force. Located in the the 10^th house instance it appears in Trump’s chart and Joseph McCarthy’s, exhibiting its ability to cause division and spread disruption; as well as murderers Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer, intent on lawless lifestyle.

  The other counter-intuitive Uranian type is Prince Andrew who has it in his 1^st house on the focal point of a yod inconjunct Saturn and an 8^th house Mercury. No poster boy for progressive causes, he defiantly walks his own road in  contrarian fashion, is intolerant of convention and inordinately stubborn.

  Even in its own orbit Uranus can create division, its negative and positive poles far apart. At best it can be a trailblazer, a catalyst for positive social change and promoter of freedom and humanitarian causes.

  Looking back over the past century plus of Uranus through the signs, which it changes every seven years, year it enters a new sign has coincided with a tranche of firsts in technical and scientific advances which altered the face of our culture – television demonstrations and transmissions, airplane development from the first 40 minute flight to plane bombing, first parachute jumps, and first set-up of commercial airlines, then space travel. In more recent times the internet moved from early computing in the 1955/6 Uranus into Leo, further advances in 1962, Microsoft being founded in 1974 with Uranus just into Scorpio, first computer virus on the next in 1981 when moving into Sagittarius, then 1989 into Capricorn the first commercial internet providers and the WWW.

   Delightfully Albert Einstein published his seminal papers which led to a century’s study of theoretical physics the year Uranus moved into Capricorn in 1902.

  What is also noticeable skipping down events is how many iconic performers, novels, films emerged/exploded onto the scene in the year Uranus changed sign.

  They are in an unusually lasting marriage by Hollywood standards. Both are child stars, Reynolds, was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2010. Lively was best known as Serena van der Woodsen in the television teen drama Gossip Girl and named “one of 2012’s Most Beautiful at Every Age”.  

Their film careers are stop-start but they shine on social media, mix with other A-listers like Taylor Swift and have healthy business interests. Reynolds, worth $350 million has a commercial interest in aviation, Gin, the Alpine F1 Team and Wrexham AFC. Lively has her Betty Buzz and Betty Booze drinks business and a haircare line.

 None of which is of much interest barring their astrology.

   She was born 25 August 1987 5.07 am Tarzana, California and has a Virgo stellium in her 1^st house with a Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon in Virgo below a Leo Ascendant. She will be full-on as a personality with all of Virgo’s snippiness when it comes to communicating her critical opinions.  She has Pluto on her IC opposition Jupiter in late Aries giving her an overdose of confidence. Shy and retiring she is not.

  Her performing 5^th house has Saturn in Sagittarius on the cusp in a can-be-autocratic conjunction to Uranus as well as creative Neptune. Exceptionally Mutable, highly strung, excitable, competitive.

  Ryan Reynolds’s chart is notable for different reasons. Born 23 October 1976 in Montreal, Canada, he has a super-charged stellium in Scorpio – Sun, North Node, Moon, Uranus and Mars – all of which hover around her IC with his Uranus Mars into her 4^th. His steady Fixed temperament will be a balance for her windmill-in-a-storm approach. But it must make for a high-octane mood domestically though they have been married since 2012. His Saturn in Leo is also conjunct her Ascendant and his Jupiter sits in her 10^th – he’ll both damp down her more reckless streak at least in public in an effort to give her image gravitas – and together they are a successful match.

  But oof – all that Virgo matched with all that Scorpio. Quite a bubbling cauldron.
