  1. Having just watched the wonderful film Mr Burton, I noted this year would be Richard Burton’s 100th birthday. Apart from his being fabulously Scorpio what do all these men of his ilk (o’toole, harris, reed, bates et al) share astrologically that makes them so charismatic and compelling (sadly lacking in actors these days)…

  2. I’m a little fascinated that (good health assuming) we all get transit Uranus going round the whole of our chart once – 84 years. Neptune only does half a chart, Pluto a varying amount and Saturn might reach a 3rd return.

And with 7 years in each sign and maybe house, and with it crossing each of the angles – its effect should be notable for us all.

Wondering if this is a sequence you can talk on Marjorie. Maybe even give us your own experiences as it transited through your houses if it’s not too personal.

  3. There have been violent anti american riots in Mexico City demanding US expats leave the country. Is the country going to be a no-go zone for 700,000 americans?

  4. I’ve just read about the allegations about The Salt Path author, Raynor Winn, on the BBC’s website revealed by The Observer. Wikipedia doesn’t list her birth date, but there is a post on Instagram “Wildly salted birthdays – always the best!”, dated 27 December 2023. Gov.uk Companies House lists her birthdate as December 1962. So tentatively her birth data are: 27 December 1962 in Melton Mowbray, United Kingdom.

  5. So, in the end, did we find out what ascendant is Rishi Sunak? He has a fairly large nose, of that specific tight, big ears, is of short stature and is always impeccably well-dressed and tidy & neat. Also thing, even though with a sweet tooth and love of Mexican Coke.

    What might that be?

  6. Marjorie, Uranus dances into Gemini tomorrow.
A hallmark of Uranus (revolutionary) in Taurus (food and diet) for me, has been the explosion of innovative weight loss tools Mounjaro and Ozempic.

  7. It’s been a bit of a trek finding out the exact time that Mr. Trump signed the ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’ But, bless FOX News, as they had a live-stream of the event – and Mr. Trump’s pen lifted from the document at exactly 5:46 PM ET, according to the time-clock that accompanied the live feed. That said, I’m hoping FOX News is accurate; because, other sources claim that 5:00 PM was the time of the signing.

Here’s a link to the FOX-video on YouTube, in case anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wwx7VFlvMac

    • Annie, thank you for the confirmation! We readers discussed the timing in the comments to Marjorie’s post, “usa-health-robbing-the-sick-pays-for-tax-cuts” that she posted July 2nd. But it was a flying guess. Your data is much appreciated – way better than trying to read somebody’s watch upside down from a fuzzy screenshot of the event!

  8. Just an astro-observation I made only today; one Saturn Revolution around the sun is about 10, 759 days.

So a Saturn return would approximately just as long (we have to factor in the earth going around the sun at the same time, causing retrogradation and so the precise number of days per Saturn return would vary, but it would approximately 10000 + a few hundred days).

The reason I was thinking of this was that I was joking to my brother that he would start worrying more about his daughter, my niece, at about her 5000th day of existence, when she would be about 13.5 years. And then I realised that that would be close to tr Saturn opposition her natal Saturn.

Of course, tr Saturn opposition natal Saturn is supposed to be indicative of major changes in the direction of life. The first Saturn opposition is approximately the teenage rebellion years; the second, at age 43-44, would be mid-life crisis period; and the third would be in the early 70s, trying to figure out how to lead one’s retirement and reflecting back on whether one lived one’s life well (Saturn is, after all, also a harsh judge in some mythologies).

It just interested me that it also aligns rather neatly with round numbers of existence from birth, at 15,000 days, 45,000 days and 75,000 days of existence from birth respectively.

    • My old housemate had a 10,000th day party which occurs when you are 27yrs 4mths or thereabouts. That probably correlates much better to a Progressed Moon Return which is consistent for everybody. My PMR occurs on about day 9950; my 2nd at 19,900.

Whereas (as you realise) there can be a year or so variability in Saturn Return dates – my friend who is less than 3mths older than me experienced his almost a year before. And I’d think this can be exacerbated given Saturn rips across say Cancer in 2yrs while Capricorn takes 3yrs.

  9. Does anybody remember what date is the post where Marjorie wrote about the tech bros that included Nvidia’s Ceo? I have been trying to search for it but apparently I am using the wrong search words and not yielding results. Thanks in advance. Very much appreciated.

    • I’ve rarely managed to retrieve Marjorie’s archive posts on this site, (it or me who knows) so I google the subject of my search with Marjorie Orr, Astrology News or similar, then it usually pops up.

      • Thanks Zita and Caroline, I used star4cast dot com and keywords on Google search. I also used the search bar in the blog. But my brain had been foggy recently and I typed Jason, tech bros and etc yielded either not the right one or too many to look through. I am so glad I asked for help.
Marjorie’s prediction for Huang in May coincided with the banning of sale of H200. So I kind of want to reread.

  10. Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) signed a U.S.-brokered peace agreement on June 27, 2025, to end the decades-long conflict in eastern DRC.

  11. Zara Sultana has just announced her resignation from the Labour Party & says that she will co-lead a new party with Jeremy Corbyn. Astro thoughts please!

    • I wonder if they have jumped the gun. From the astrology influences it appears that Angela Rayner is looking good next year. She has described herself as a socialist and of the ‘soft left’. If Labour kept veering to the right then a new party would be understandable but numerous reports suggest that Starmer’s leadership could end next year. Unexpected even six months ago but it turns everything on its head.

      • Maybe they can exceed the Tories record of PM changes… that will be great for the country.(Rayner, Cooper, Streeting, Lammy, Reynolds, Kendall, IMF)

      • Possibly the whole system is in chaos on the left and on the right? One astrological thing I’ve noticed is the February 2026 Solar Eclipse at 28 Aquarius – the people, plus the House of Commons chart itself is Aquarius.
Anyway, fairly simplistic but the eclipse squares Uranus, and is then triggered by tr Mars in Aquarius square Uranus at the end of February, beginning of March. Here’s my list, as far as it goes for now:

Edgar chart UK: Pluto 27 Leo, Sun 25 Taurus
House of Commons: Moon 25 Aquarius
1922 UK Reorganisation: Mars 27 Aquarius
Conservative Party 1867: Jupiter 28 Aquarius
Liberal Party 1877: Mars 26 Aquarius
Labour Party 1900: Mars 28 Aquarius

Be interesting to see if this works. Obviously, tr Uranus has been attempting to bring change for quite some time now.

      • Corbyn has just posted a tweet that ‘real change is coming’. I am not sure about a new party…. though once Labour get rid of Starmer they will most likely move leftwards (again) to deal with this challenge. Clive Lewis, John McDonnell and others on the left say they are staying in Labour. There is the Saturn Neptune conjunction and a Venus Uranus conjunction at the moment – does that support a left wing movement?
