Hello. Alysa Liu-please. She quit skating so young, reevaluated and then returns and wins gold. She’s so relaxed and chill. I would not have guessed she’s a Leo -although her amazing hair should have been a big clue. She seems to be very in tune with herself and energies, in general. Said she picks up the energies of people in the audience. Is her Astro signature emblematic of the Aqua generation? She must have some Cap, though. TY.
Good grief! It’s Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s birthday today, and he’s been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. In April 2025 Marjorie wrote:
“And starting from this July there is a run of tr Uranus square his Pisces Sun and then square his Pluto till early 2028 which will put his life through the wringer with a series of upheavals.”
Some Solar Return for him….This week’s Aquarius Solar Eclipse was close to his natal Chiron, 27 Aquarius.
@Jane, I like it here that the British don’t play. I guess that the authorities, including Royal family, know it’s essentially about the survival of the institution. It also makes Americans look extremely bad.
The eclipse opposed Trump’s Ascendant and Mars on Regulus. There will be no getting away from this scandal, no matter how much the regime try and kick against it. I think it’s interesting that the eclipse makes an opposition to quite a few of the players involved, since they have planets at the final degress of Leo or Taurus. It has a ‘People vs the Powerful’ theme to it.
Poor King Charles, is all I can say.
He’s had a horrible reign so far. First the Truss debacle, then Harry’s unpleasant book, now his crooked brother.
But he became King three days after Liz Truss became PM – all those retrograde planets are doing for him what they did to Truss.
I’d love an astrological deep dive into why 2022 was such a bad year for Britain: two monarchs, three PMs, inflation at 11% (highest in 30 years) and market meltdown. Truss and Sunak had their start as PMs that year and they’re both gone. Only Charles left, and how long has he got?
Mars / Uranus / North Node were conjunct at 16Tau at start of Aug. Can’t remember why but it has previously brought issues and the details will have been discussed back in 2022’s posts
Thanks I had forgotten about that. Post 17 June 2022 Uranus + North Node. Really momentous in terms of events from past occurrences and at 18 degrees Taurus it activated the UK Fixed Grand Cross planets.
Also tr Uranus into UK 8th bringing instability and tr Saturn also wading its way in hard aspect to the UK’s Fixed planets which are its backbone.
Uranus was at the start of its transit through the UK 1801 8H during 2022. It’s only just leaving that house this year and next.
A very good reason to cast a Solar Return chat for him today.
The Epstein files seem to have a bigger impact on the British establishment than on US politics.
Andrew Lownie says that this is the worst crisis than that of the abdication. Edward VIII was similarly suspected, with good reason of collaborating with the Nazis, visiting Adolf Hitler at his mountain retreat in Germany with Wallis Simpson against the advice of the government, not to mention ‘Operation Willi’, 1940 – the Nazi plot to put Edward and Wallis on the throne as puppet rulers – or indeed the ‘Marbug Files’, correspondences between the Nazi leadership and the Duke.
This family has never been as stable as we like to believe.
The eclipse was opposite Andrew’s Regulus which was at 29 degrees of Leo when he was born as well as close to His Pisces Sun. The star is one of the 4 royal stars, but it also is connected to a person who falls from grace. Huw Edwards was born with his Sun on this star, as was Princess Margaret. Moreover Andrew’s Sun is close to the fixed star Formalhaut wh9ch Astrology King describes thus:
Dissipated, easily influenced by low companions, gain through inheritance but unproductive of good, may suffer for some crime committed, danger of bites from venomous creatures.
Tied up with either Sun or Moon, the influence of Fomalhaut is said to be quite marked.
Natives with this conjunction can be improperly influenced. They are most easily influenced by self-seeking individuals, and at times they appear to ‘go with the wind.’ Sometimes this subtle influence is so directed to the native that they are unaware of it. If an inheritance is expected, and the native has encountered difficulties because of being rather easily influenced and became involved in legal entanglements, they will profit little from such an inheritance. Natives with this conjunction generally have a different life style than the average person. Legal problems or a judicial sentence is possible.
Uranus in Taurus was squaring the eclipse yesterday, emphasising its Aquarian/Uranuan flavour and will continue to make a tight square to the eclipse as it moves into Gemini. Thereafter it makes a square to Andrew’s Piscean Sun.
The current Neptune/Scheat conjunction has been merciless to the Yorks. Plus with its reputation for floods and water, I thought it was apt that reports yesterday told of the swampy and soggy land surrounding Marsh Farm – Andrew’s latest accommodation, following his exit from the royal lodge – causing problems for vehicles needing access.
I’d like to quote Marjorie from her recent post on King Charles. Spot on!:
“His Coronation, 6 May 2023 12.02pm London has a 4th house Scorpio Moon opposition Uranus Sun in the 10th so was always going to be a push and pull affair between head and heart. The Solar Arc Sun is moving to conjunct the 10th house Uranus exact in 4 months, which does suggest a change of direction, of which throwing Andrew into the long arm of justice may be part.”
I’d be really interested to see the Andrew/Epstein relationship charts, is there anything to indicate that Epstein would be Andrew’s unravelling.
Jane, do you think this is the real reason P William hired a crisis expert?
Reread the post about Coco Chanel from 2023. What are Astro clues for why both she and her company have never been canceled? Neptune transits? How can people buy these items today after all that has emerged? She fled to Switzerland, for goodness sake, after the war. This doesn’t make any sense. Others have been canceled for so much less. Thanks.
Read the 2023 article, but can you point out why you think she should have been cancelled?
Nazi collaboration/anti-semitism. She seemed assured she’d be tried as a traitor so she fled to Switzerland for a time.
Lucky Jupiter on midpoint of Uranus trine Neptune – Jupiter can be the unfair get-out-of-jail-free card
Thank you. Does Trump have similar? Haven’t forgotten that someone here wrote, “Jupiter has give him so much.”
Would love a deep dive into Arizona Senator Mark Kelly. Not only is he a former astronaut and husband to Gabby Giffords who was a democratic Congresswoman until she was shot but survived and now champions gun restrictions, but he’s also a thorn in Trump’s side. A judge just ruled in his favour against the pentagon who tried to strip him of his well-earned military rank and now he’s considering a run for president and is seen as a meaningful counterweight to Gavin Newsom. Any insights?
There is no birth time but nothing that stands out as markedly successful in 2028
Thanks. What about AOC in 2028?
Marjorie has written about Bernie Sanders and AOC in 2025. May be worth reading through that article.
She did mention that from now till the end of the decade, Saturn-Pluto will be squaring the Saturn-Uranus-Neptune conjunction of people born in 1989-90. That of course includes AOC, but also many others, including some family members of mine.
I do hope to God that the Democrats choose a Pale Male and Stale candidate with a whiter-than-white family. The rest of the world can’t afford another MAGA President.
The Democrats should dump their unelectable values for the sake of the world. Also values are effectively useless out of power. You need to win power to give effect to your values.
Jesse Jackson has died today.
“Over the course of his career, Jackson built a movement to bring America’s increasingly diverse population together, with a message that centred on poor and working-class Americans.
“No one else in the Democratic Party was talking about a multiracial, multi-ethnic democracy,” Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders said at an event in Chicago in August 2024 that celebrated Jackson. “This movement wasn’t just about bringing us together, but about bringing us together around a progressive agenda.” BBC News
A force of nature, complicated, charismatic, extraordinary. Born 8th October 1941, a Libran with only the Sun there. I noticed he has a Taurean stellium of Moon, Venus, Saturn and Uranus plus BML (mean) in his fourth house. Today’s Aquarian Solar Eclipse squares that from his first house. RIP
A 12th house Sun can be tricky, with a feeling of being unseen, or other 12th emphasis. 1st house planets can be a pre-occupation with the self which can manifest as over confident or chronically self-conscious. Watery Moon sign as well. Opening up to feedback and potentially, change, may feel threatening to the delicate sense of equilibrium which is just keeping it altogether.
That can come down to which House system you use.
My brother’s Sun falls into the first House if using the Whole Signs House system, but into the 12th House if using Placidus or Koch or such House systems. Personally I think the first House Sun suits his behaviour better (he is so full of himself, but also he can walk into a room and brighten it, so yes, it works both ways).
The one thing he isn’t is hidden/occulted, the sign of the Sun in the 12th house.
Also, I can’t remember where I had read it, but apparently, the Sun in the 12th can be a sign of an absent father. Thankfully our father has been a steady presence in our lives.
Can you do Savannah Guthrie ‘s chart ?
I would rather leave it till there is some closure
Non-political astrological question: what is/are the astrological indicators for self-loathing/self-hate?
I know a person who takes any negative feedback too easily to heart, but positive feedback rolls right off him. He is very shy and it is quite hard to draw him out, but the slightest suggestion for him to improve and he withdraws into his shell. He confided in me that he was suicidal about a decade ago, but that now he has accepted life and is trying to manage it until he dies a natural death. I don’t know much about him, but I wonder if he had a difficult childhood.
Are there any astrological indicators for such behaviour? Also any transits/Solar Arcs that could be considered triggering for such a personality.
Something come to mind, badly aspected venus makes receiving hard. And check chiron for all the pain. And some triggers are synastry. Just my personal experience
Interesting. His Chiron is square (8 degree orb) of Venus. Would that suggest that he was wounded in love, or that love would heal his wounds?
And if rectified (he told me that family lore places his birth at noon, so assuming Sun at or close to MC), his Venus would be in the 8th house. Would that negatively impact his amour propre (the ancients had a way with words)?
As for synastry, he isn’t in a relationship at the moment, but perhaps he was when he was suicidal. Or perhaps a breakup may have triggered that instinct.
Thank you for your insight, Callie S.
Not sure how to heal the wound. I have a 8 degree orb of Chiron conjunct venus in taurus in 12th house. I dont think on their own they are painful. One of my trigger is my mother. Her jupiter sextile the midpoint of my venus chiron. I can say that her gift are “weighty”, strings attached and sometimes I get shamed for receiving it. I felt empowered the first I said no to her gift. Now if I dislike I just use a few times and throw. My sibling just literallyshow disdain right from the start. How enlightening that was to learn. My Chiron is inconjunct my Pluto and Neptune forming into a yod (about 4 degree orb). When uranus in taurus conjunct that chiron, I am so glad I was reading this blog. It brought up a bunch of Mars Pluto/Saturn Trauma. I would say check the other Chiron Aspect. A heartbreak can do a lot damage. But a low self esteem came from childhood. This year my interest is on observing my father after having done my mother.
Also to add for those who don’t think Jupiter bad, my mother has Jupiter Trine Saturn and her Saturn is opposite my Venus/Chiron midpoint.
I agree that Venus gets edgy when sweetness and light are disturbed.
But what sprang to mind was an individual I knew with an over strong Pluto – and a couple of others with the same. They resist mightily any criticism because??
Pluto is a defence mechanism against pressure and over control – and trying to get through the ‘I am in control’ shield opens up the earlier wound which had to be defended against. The individual I knew had an ingrained sense of being a poor, weakly, downtrodden victim where in reality she came across as powerful and pushy. Any criticism aimed at her outer persona evoked an explosive reaction as her Pluto kicked back.
Your friend does not sound quite the same but I suspect the problem comes from never having been able to build up a strong sense of identity or self esteem. So any criticism feels like a devastating attack on a very fragile sense of self.
There may be a variety of different astrological markers for that. Look at Trump.
Meghan Markle has Pluto tightly squaring her Cancer Asc. This sums up many traits she displays. Even the rictus grin she projects come rain or shine.
“The individual I knew had an ingrained sense of being a poor, weakly, downtrodden victim where in reality she came across as powerful and pushy.”
That sounds so like my mother that I had to look this up. And guess what, her Pluto is almost exactly sextile her Ascendant and Uranus. No other aspects to Pluto though.
Thank you for your response, Marjorie. I’ll look further into the charts of both the person that I know and of my mother.
The city of Manchester is booming with sustained growth figures of 3.1% over the last ten years (BBC article) I would be interested to know the astrological indicators for this as well as the Andy Burnham effect. With young people leaving London for careers in the North, this is an interesting reversal. Will Manchester avoid the ever present threat of boom then bust?
Thank you
I can’t pinpoint the exact article, but I remember Marjorie saying that the UK’s economic growth was going to improve in 2026. It stuck in my mind.
Uranus moving out of the UK 8th house of joint finances after this year should help bring some stability.

Marjorie,
People keep saying that Charles should abdicate. Now I know he won’t do that because he swore an oath not to during his coronation. And I believe if he did, he would run the risk of taking his own line out of the succession.
Recently I found out that when Edward viii abdicated, his line was to be expunged from the line of succession. Of course he never had any children and he was never crowned. Which is the only acceptable way to abdicate.
But William could become Prince Regent, should Charles want to give the responsibility to William. Certainly his health is a good enough reason to do this. But could you give your insights as to whether the King is ready to do this, and is William keen to take it on? Sorry for being so long winded.
This would be interesting but please no Harry and Meghan! You haven’t done anything on Charles, William, or Kate on their own in a long time.
I agree it would be interesting. From memory there are some rough transits to the 2023 Coronation chart coming up, let alone his personal chart which is quite fixed with transiting Pluto moving into squares/oppositions. It’s been a very tumultuous reign for him so far.
Dear Marjorie. Can you shed any light on Rupert Lowe and his new party please.
That would be interesting if you could please Marjorie.
He’s an oddball with a Sun Neptune conjunction in Scorpio being put under considerable pressure by tr Pluto in square over the next four years – not hopeful. The Restore party looks opportunistic and a relic of the past really with Saturn in final degree Pisces.
Must admit I’m interested by how to analyse the astrology. The party began as a pressure group on June 30 2025 then became a political party on 13 Feb 2026. Should this be thought of in terms of a wedding chart which is preceded by an engagement date and even a first date? And therefore the political party date of a few days ago will be the one to use.
From a wider perspective, I wonder if more splinter groups/new parties are something we can expect to see during Pluto in Aqua. Certainly my one positive from the 2024 GE was the wider range of parties and independents gaining votes.
Purely personal opinion. I did online googling of a big 100 plus year old political party. They had adhoc first meeting. Then a date where they officially registered with the relevant authorities. They now had a yearly anniversary date for celebration slightly different from the official date. I ignored the adhoc date as most people involved left the party. I did the official date once and I think I do the anniversary date next time.
