Amanda Knox – fated to be a scapegoat

“The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox” is a new documentary about the legal fiasco which saw her imprisoned for a murder she did not commit in Italy. It was followed by an acquittal, subsequently overturned, before being dismissed categorically and compensation paid after an EHCR ruling that her rights had been violated in the initial interrogation without a lawyer or interpreter present. In all she went through a gruelling marathon from the murder of her flatmate Meredith Kercher in 2007 until 2019.

There were odd resonances throughout in particular her bizarre behaviour after finding Meredith’s body and a media frenzy which labelled her as Foxy Knoxy, putting her on the wrong side of public opinion. After she returned to the US after her prison sentence, she finished a degree, and wrote a book about her case and became an activist for the wrongfully accused.

She married and has recently produced two babies and had an active social media presence with copious photos of her in her underwear which hardly helps to boost her gravitas.

Born 9 July 1987 2.47 am Seattle, Washington, she has a 2nd house Sun, Mercury and Venus in Cancer in opposition to Neptune in Capricorn in her 8th and square an Aries North Node  in her 11th.  Neptune in the 8th occurs in film stars’ charts, giving them an unconscious ability to project an aura. In her case it clearly propelled her onto the public stage in a different way; and may also account for her ‘dissociated’ or spaced-out behaviour after the murder.

Her Sagittarius Moon in the needs-a-partner 7th is conjunct a self-willed, irritable, high-tension Saturn Uranus conjunction so she won’t find relationships easy. She also has a Mars in flamboyant Leo square Pluto in Scorpio which carries overtones (or undertones) of acute frustration, anger and fear. It will tend to attract her consciously or unconsciously to dramatic and risky situations.

Plus she has a yod onto Pluto inconjunct her North Node sextile Ascendant.

Meredith Kercher, 28 December 1985, also had a hard Mars Pluto in a conjunction with her South Node and conjunct Knox’s Pluto – so quite a tangle. And Meredith’s Capricorn Sun was exactly conjunct Amanda’s 8th house Neptune. There was some weird karma going on in there even if the murder was all drifter Rudy Guede’s doing.

In the aftermath of the murder, Knox had tr Pluto moving through her trapped 8th until 2019 when she was finally offered compensation for her botched interrogation, prosecution and conviction. She also had her Solar Arc Saturn conjunct her 8th house Neptune in the immediate aftermath, with her Solar Arc Uranus, Moon and latterly Saturn all opposing her Cancer Sun through the years-long ordeal which followed.

When it finally came to an end in 2019 with the EHCR compensation ruling tr Uranus was conjunct her Jupiter for a sigh of relief.

Her scapegoat 12th harmonic is powerfully aspected with a 12H Grand Cross of Sun opposition Mars square Uranus opposition Mercury; and a Grand Trine of Sun Jupiter Pluto.  The meaning of this number is sacrifice  – being sacrificed or becoming a victim to other persons’ intrigues. 12 warns against being a victim of circumstances or dragged into other people’s affairs to suffer the consequences. It can be the harmonic as well of the victim/healer.

Mars Pluto can also carry the meaning of having the misfortune to suffer brutal assaults.

I am still puzzling about what drew her into the centre of a media storm and made it all too easy for the public to project onto her their prejudices – apart from her 12th harmonic I mean. Her 8th house Neptune North Node would be part of it plus Mars square a yod apex Pluto. The way the story was spun plus her own odd behaviour made her difficult to warm to.

  1. Uranus and Saturn are bookends to her Moon. Saturn represses emotions and walls them off instinctively, while Uranus can dissociate from them. It explains to me a lot about her behaviors after the murder and during the trial that seemed “odd” to others.

  2. Amanda Know and her family spent millions clearing her name. Her parents liquidated their retirement accounts and mortgaged their homes to pay for attorneys. She was paid $3.8 million for her book and all of those proceeds (less taxes, agent cut, etc) were used to repay her parents and grandmother and to help fund her younger sister’s college tuition. It might look like profiteering but it has been an effort to undo the financial havoc from her wrongful conviction.

    • That much is true SMS – and in the days before crowd-funding was a thing. Irrespective of Amanda’s perplexing behaviour at the time, poor Merediths life was snatched away by the wicked Rudy Guede and no-one else.

  3. Not going to watch the show out of respect for the Kercher family. One thing about Meredith’s murder is that if it had happened just a couple of years later, it likely wouldn’t have taken this long to solve. People involved would have had smart phones and access to public wifi (somehow, this was illegal in Italy at the time).

In fact, one person whose DNA was at the murder scene and who was found guilty, Rudy Guede, will face a trial for sexual assault and violence towards a girlfriend he was with after being released on good conduct 2021. This time evidence includes 100 000 photos and thousands of chats between Guede and the victim. In case this is relevant, Guede was born in December 26th, 1986, making him Capricorn Sun and either Libra or Scorpio Moon. His Scorpio Venus trines a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Pisces, so, obsession certainly is in the stars.

Interestingly, another 2007 Italian case receiving incessant media coverage, murder of Chiara Poggi in Garlasco of which is fiance Alberto Stasi was convicted in 2015, has been reopened due to new DNA evidence. I am not fully certain of this, but I seem to have read at least part of it being due contamination during the autopsy. Stasi, born July 3rd, 1983, came across similarly “guilty” to Amanda Knox, and, even at the time, I wondered whether it had something to do with them being Cancenrians.

  4. A long time ago, I lived in Perugia for a short while, attending the same university. It had a menacing atmosphere, and my memories are bleak. When Meredith was murdered, I wasn’t surprised.
I started watching the series, but it stirred up too many memories. Maybe @Amy will think this is my Cancerian memory!

  5. Drugs – some young adults of my acquaintance were invited to a talk about recreational drugs and their use. The speaker began by saying: “Everything your parents have told you about drugs is wrong. It’s far worse.” Drugs affect your mind in ways you cannot imagine and often cannot undo. The combined chart appears to suggest that. They were all out of their minds that night and demons were unleashed. It is a pity that this aspect of the tragedy seems to have been largely negected. I also think that AK has not told the whole truth but I also suspect that she has buried it within to try to protect herself. I don’t think this so-called documentary will shed any more light on the case and indeed it seems very insensitive to the feelings of the Kercher family.

    • Agree- remarkable how publicized cases skip through the toil of drug or alcohol use. Like AK, the Karen Read case had plenty of mystery and corruption worth media scrutiny – plus the requisite good looking star defendant – but the truth of substance intake turning lethal gets almost nothing. Wouldn’t want to make the viewership get any sinking feelings about their own usage/culpability.

  6. In the H12 chart: Mars conjunction the MC, opposite the Sun. Stelliums in the 11th and 12th. Wasn’t it reported that Knox turned cartwheels at the police station immediately after the murder? Somewhere it was suggested that Knox is on the autistic spectrum. Perhaps. She learned to speak fluent Italian while imprisoned. There’s intelligence there, but not social intelligence.

  7. I find it interesting how the documentary has cast an actress who projects none of the fierce and fighting look of Knox. Knox remains Her own worst enemy. She keeps trying to wash her conscience clean of something that has remained unsaid.

  9. Difficult to warm to -yes because most people in her situation would run for the hills and steer well clear of all and any publicity not least because the trauma of the losing a close friend in such circumstances and the nightmare than ensued would also takes its toll, you’d think. And yet she seems more than willing to keep the event alive in some way. Its quite morbid as well a being disrespectful to the family of the poor girl that lost her life. Cancerians have particularly acute sense memory and attachment to events, it can manifest is an unhealthy way.

    • Doubt they were ‘close friends’. They shared a flat with other students. Kercher moved in on 10 September 2007, Knox moved in on 20 September. No indication they knew each other before that date. Kercher and Knox attended a music festival together on 25 October, where Knox met Raffaele Sollecito. Meredith’s life was taken away from her on 1 November.
I agree with what you say Amy about Cancerians having acute sense memory, which can manifest as unhealthy attachments to the past.

  10. 2028 is, also, an extreme low for economies as measured by the W.D. Gann astrological financial table. You can locate the updated ones at time-price-research-astrofin.blogspot
It has been remarkably predictive in calling 1991,2001,2009, 2020….

  11. I saw an interesting analysis of Amanda’s behaviour by four top notch interrogation experts of four-letter-agencies who are still convinced, that she is a lot more involved\knows more\possibly guilty as she is letting on. The legal case and the investigation both were handled shamefully by the Italian authorities, closing the possibility of ever learning the truth. Another character of this mess is Raffaele Sollecito: 26 March 1984 – 01:15h Bari. He lives a quiet life unlike Amanda Knox who makes a living out of this murder up to this day.

    • She certainly behaved in a bizarre way! And while, she has been found not guilty, I can’t help feeling that she did have something to do with it. And if I was in her situation, I wouldn’t continually exploit the situation and try to make money out of it. Especially in Italy.

Besides Meredith, it is the Kercher family I feel sorry for. And if Amanda could do one thing, it would be to just shut up and stop using the situation for her own benefit!
