In death as in life and the aftermath Jeffrey Epstein has/had an intriguing way of casting a sinister and lingering smokescreen over events. His misdeeds earned him a brief holiday-camp prison sentence. His legacy has left a swirling cloud of suspicion but as yet only the hapless (and unpleasant) Ghislaine has been nailed. And his death in odd circumstances has led to myriad conspiracy theories – was it suicide or murder or is he not dead at all?
I am allergic to conspiracy theories, tending to lean towards incompetence and coincidence as a way of discounting them. But to have him taken off for suicide watch in prison, have his cellmate removed and the guards fall asleep, with the cameras down, does seem a stretch too far.
Astrology is not a proof of anything but it seemed worth looking to see what was on his chart which I did not do at the time.
What stands out is his Solar Arc Mars square his 8th house Pluto exactly. That could be expected to turn up for either murder or suicide. Tr Uranus was exactly conjunct his IC suggesting an emotional upheaval and perhaps change of residence. Tr Pluto was exactly opposition his Mercury, pulling on his Cardinal T square of Mercury opposition Uranus square Saturn Neptune – and that certainly could suggest immense mental strain.
Tr Saturn was just across his Ascendant pushing him gradually into a low profile few years, soon to form a bleak conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn also in his 1st. And at the point of his exit tr Saturn was exactly conjunct his Chiron and opposition his Uranus which would produce tensions, perhaps at being closeted in a prison. His Solar Arc Sun was exactly conjunct his Moon (and Eris, star of discord) which would suggest a coming-together in his life and, leaving Eris aside, would not be depressing.
I might have expected to see more flagged up on his Solar Return or his Lunar Return for that month. But apart from Saturn and Pluto in the 12th in both there is nothing much to point definitively to any of the three scenarios.
What does strike me, given that there was a reasonable possibility he could have got off in a trial because of an immunity agreement from earlier deal in Florida, was there might have been more at play in the background. He was not facing a hopeless situation of a long prison sentence ahead. But the murkiness around the origins of his money might well have brought other players into the scenario so he could have been in jeopardy for other reasons and decided to bale. Or the decision was taken out of his hands. With the Solar Arc Mars square an 8th house Pluto it would look likely to have been suicide or murder rather than an airlift a la Lord Lucan off elsewhere. But no doubt it’ll be fifty years before it all becomes clear.
Solar Arc Chart at the time of death: Neptune at the Aries Point, conjunct Saturn in the 12th. Murky serious secrets. His demise was not about revealing sexual secrets, but, I agree, about the money.
The fixed star Sirius at 13deg Cancer foretells a famous death, an individual made famous or ‘infamous’ by their passing. I notice that Epstein had his Natal Uranus at 15deg Cancer, can this be considered to be in orb?
Thank you Marjorie. I agree about the murky money origins being involved somewhere in this equally murky story. Epstein moved money around the world for all manner of dubious individuals, he knew how to save them a fortune, he knew how to sail very close to the wind when more or less ‘laundering’ their wealth. His knowledge may have given him power, but brought more than an edge of danger too.
I was interested to see his Saturn 27 Libra with Neptune 23 Libra. They aspect the USA’s natal Pluto 27 Capricorn opposing Mercury 24 Cancer – secretive and controlling themes? Oddly, the chart for the NY Stock Exchange 1792, has Jupiter 22 Libra, Neptune 27 Libra. Epstein was in tune with the American money markets.
And at 23 Libra is the powerful fixed star Spica, in Virgo the Maiden (horrible irony for Epstein’s twisted obsessions and crimes) or Grain Goddess. It is associated with mythic Erigone, who hanged herself. Spica with Neptune, according to Robson:
“With Neptune: Well-born, comfortable surroundings, always sufficiently well off, associated with companies, gain through legacies, favorable for domestic matters, somewhat fast and extravagant, does not live to old age.” [Robson, p.212.]
A Lunar Eclipse in July 2019 at 24 Capricorn may also have triggered something that summer. It aligned with fixed star Terebellum in Sagittarius. Robson writes:
“It gives a fortune but with regret and disgrace, cunning, a mercenary nature and repulsiveness.” [Robson, p.213.].
Back in January 2019 there was a Solar Eclipse at 15 Capricorn, conjunct Saturn. It opposed Epstein’s natal Uranus in his 7th House of open enemies. And was close to opposing USA Sun (leadership) at 13 Cancer too.
A Lunar Eclipse at 0 Leo then opposed Epstein’s natal Sun that January, just after his birthday.
The odds were stacked against him, certainly. But as VF says, the official narrative doesn’t stack up.
Another instance of dubious dealings, heiress of Johnson & Johnson made him a co trustee on a 24 million Colorado estate in 1998. There is a People article.

Just a word on conspiracies. Many assassinations and terrorist attacks have been conspiracies. The assassination of Pres Lincoln was a conspiracy, as was that of ArchDuke Ferdinand, Trotsky, the attempt on Thatcher and many more. Many of course were lone wolf attacks such as Garfield and McKinley. So to theorise that the deaths of Epstein and for example JFK may have more than one person behind them is quite rational and certainly possible. However in the face of so much misinformation flooding the zone, the truth rarely comes out.
I believe 2019 was a 7th house profection year for him which is Cancer /Moon, so ruled by his 7 degrees 14 seconds Aries moon, which, natally, is applying to a square with a 7th house Uranus. There was a solar eclipse in Cancer in July 2019, and his progressed Sun was at 7 degrees 2 seconds Aries on his death, exceptionally close to his natal Moon placement. The sun is the ruler of his 8th house, if that has any bearing. Transiting Chiron wasalso close to this Aries point at the time of death too.
For what it’s worth, I heard his brother interviewed…..he was in contact with Epstein a short time before the death. He doesn’t believe he killed himself, he was working on his appeal and was quite upbeat.
