The transformative story of young Tony Hudgell, so badly abused by his biological parents he nearly died as a baby and later had to have both legs amputated, has hit a sad turn. With extensive and superlative hospital care and a new adoptive family he has grown into a cheerful and determined young boy, learning to walk on prosthetic legs and winning a Pride of Britain award. He decided to raise money for the people who were caring for him and walked twelve kilometres on his new legs, bringing in £1.8 million. In 2024, he became the youngest ever person to be recognised in the New Year Honours List. At just nine-years old, he received a British Empire Medal for his services to the prevention of child abuse.
Now his adoptive mother, a former nurse who has campaigned for tougher sentences for child abusers and successfully brought in Tony’s Law in 2022 and who created a safe and happy home for him, has announced she has terminal cancer.
He was born 8 October 2014 in Maidstone, England, and has a strong, determined and upbeat chart with his Libra Sun, Venus and North Node opposition Uranus Moon in Aries square an influential Pluto. He is designed to make a difference. His Sun is further highlighted being the driving planet from a Kite formed from an inspirational Fire Grand Trine of Uranus (Moon) trine Mars in Sagittarius trine Jupiter in Leo. Fire Grand Trines tend to be adventurous and have strong self-belief and although not always realistic it will be his saving grace since it will give him an inherent sense of luck and self-belief.
The one hint of his early experiences – though houses may add more – is his Mars conjunct his Saturn/Pluto midpoint which Ebertin describes as ‘brutality, acts of violence, the necessity to fight for one’s life or existence, maltreatment.’
His victim/healer 12th harmonic is strong with perhaps a New Moon and a tough, motivational Fire Grand Trine of Saturn trine Mercury trine Pluto.
What a tragedy he faces another loss.

His poor mom. She seems like a gallant, valiant woman. I hope she makes it through to survive. If anyone deserves a second chance, she does.
Goodness, what else can life throw at him. 🙁
Hopefully he will live out this incredible potential. I like that fire trine of his.
Thanks Marjorie. I read about this remarkable young man and his inspirational adoptive Mum. A devastating turn of events. Tony has been dealt some difficult cards in this life. Blessed that he has a fire grand trine to help him navigate through life.
