Finally finally and several years too late Prince Andrew has been defrocked of his titles, in a face-saving gesture made to look voluntary but almost certainly under immense pressure.
The astrology has all been pored over in the past but there are points of note. The first is transiting Uranus exactly square his Pices Sun for the second time this year on the retrograde aspect – which is often the trigger for change. With more to come as tr Uranus will hard aspect his Sun/Pluto midpoint towards mid 2026 followed by tr Uranus square his Pluto from August 2026 into 2027 – which suggests more unwanted upheavals to come.
The other is his yod of Saturn in socially-ambitious Capricorn in his 5th house sextile Mercury in Pisces in his 8th inconjunct an apex 1st house Uranus sitting just below his Leo Ascendant. A less Uranian type would be hard to imagine with his Capricorn stellium and Leo Ascendant seemingly overwhelming any vestiges of revolutionary inclinations.
And yet, a Uranus focal point yod especially in the 1st house can point to a contrary, willful, rebellious and lawless temperament – a disruptor – intolerant of social norms. Used well, he could have made a positive difference; used badly as is clearly the case here, his obstinate insistence on being free to act as he pleased led to unacceptable, anti-social behaviour – sexual and financial.
Such a yod hints that not only do fated changes of direction come for the individual but that they are also often the catalyst for change on the outside.
In his case it is clearly acting outwith his conscious control since otherwise he could have been a force for good and progressive change. But one wonders how much damage he has done to the monarchy, which admittedly in the past has survived Princess Margaet’s feckless lifestyle and the Duke of Windsor’s nazi leanings.
His Uranus at 18 degrees Leo is almost exactly conjunct the Hanoverian Monarchy Leo Sun (1 August 1714); and conjunct the House of Windsor (17 July 1917) Black Moon also at 19 Leo. So he seems a potentially pivotal figure.
One of the mysteries of Queen Elizabeth 11’s reign was her forgiving attitude towards Andrew as her supposed favourite son. His reckless Uranus was conjunct her forgiving and unrealistic 7th house Neptune in Leo. And their relationship chart could not have been more Neptunian with a composite Sun opposition Moon Neptune. She sacrificed her life for the monarchy with her one blind spot being Andrew – he was her Achilles’ Heel. Neptune, the dream weaver, reality seen through a soft focus lens – an idealized image which avoided the truth. Andrew’s natal Uranus was also hooked into their composite Venus opposition North Node – her affection at odds with the needs of the culture.
King Charles’ Coronation chart, 6 May 2023 12.02pm with its 17 Leo Ascendant and 18 degree Uranus in Taurus in the 10th conjunct Sun set out to be a monarchy of progressive change – and yet Andrew has become a wrecking ball in the machinery. His Uranus sits on the Coronation Ascendant, damaging its image.
Playing with numbers always throws up odd coincidences but Andrew’s chart does seem unduly intertwined with key figures, for a disgraced and not noticeably talented or valuable member of the family. The original Hanoverian chart, for the Germanic line of the Royals which replaced the House of Stuart when George 1 was crowned in 1714 – launched when Pluto was in early Virgo, exactly as is the case with Prince Andrew, with its Neptune in Taurus exactly opposition his Neptune in Scorpio – plus his Uranus conjunct the Hanoverian Sun.
It seems a stretch to imagine he might be the one to end the UK monarchy but the Hanoverian chart is certainly heading for stormy seas if not out an outright apocalyptic hurricane come the mid 2030s when some have predicted it might end with Prince William having been the last monarch. Which would be a bad outcome for the UK, made all the worse if it was precipitated in part by Andrew’s degenerate behaviour. And by the inability of the Royals to take action sooner.
Whatever happens the media will not be giving up with more to come from Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir due out this week and the endless trail of Epstein info spilling out.
ADD ON: Both Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been dragged into the mess with previously unseen emails from Epstein revealing that Fergie was so desperate to cosy up to him that ‘she was the first to celebrate’ his release from jail ‘with her two daughters in tow’. Princess Beatrice would have been 20 at the time and Eugenie 19, the same age as many of his victims. Epstein complained to friends about the duchess’s scrounging ways in messages that suggest his financial support went far beyond the £15,000 she admitted taking from him.
On Princess Beatrice’s chart, Epstein’s Pluto sits in her 7th house conjunct her Mercury and Sun in Leo – so he would be a powerful presence in her life. His Mars Venus in Cancer was also conjunct her North Node hinting that his promiscuous ways (Venus Mars) impacted on her spiritual development. His Moon was conjunct her 2nd house financial Mars so there would be a money connection.
With Princess Eugenie the synastry is even more stark with Epstein’s Uranus sitting almost exactly on her Midheaven and his Jupiter in her financial 8th opposition her 2nd house Pluto. His presence will have the effect of knocking her life off its expected direction.

His Scorpio Sun is exactly square Andrew’s yod Uranus – and his Scorpio stellium of Venus, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Mars all sit in Andrew’s 4th house. Scorpio is a sign well-designed for research, for digging deep to uncover secrets in this case from the foundations of Andrew’s life. Lownie’s Uranus is also exactly opposition Andrew’s Pisces Sun as he opened Pandora’s Box.
I think Eugenie and Beatrice come across well.

The House of Windsor Chart (dob 17 July 1917) has Chiron at 29 Pisces conjunct Scheat. It has had Saturn and Neptune tracking backwards and forwards over that degree this year, a process that will complete in February 2026 with the conjunction of both planets at 0 Aries. Significantly Saturn was also conjunct the Windsor Chiron in early 1996 when the divorce of Charles and Diana was being finalised.
Pluto in early Aquarius will be transiting opposite the House of Windsor Saturn/Neptune at 2/4 Leo in 2026-2027. The composite midpoint relationship chart for Andrew with the House of Windsor has retrograde Pluto at 4 Leo so will feel the same influences. In addition Uranus will be conjoining the Windsor Jupiter at 3 Gemini possibly indicating big changes/upsets. I don’t expect the pressure will be easing up any time soon.
Interested to see that 29 Pisces Chiron in the House of Windsor chart Hugh – it is the degree of the 1066 Moon, which is square Uranus, 28 Sagittarius. That tense 29 Virgo eclipse in September may be relevant. It opposed Saturn in Pisces and Neptune just into Aries.
I’m also wondering about the late Queen’s “annus horribilis” in 1992, when the RF were reeling from one scandal after another, but haven’t looked at anything yet.
I have found the name of the late Queen’s equerry. His name was Patrick Plunkett, 7th Baron Plunkett and he died in 1975. This is in addition to something I posted near the bottom.
There is a really odd tale, that Epstein was always on the lookout for redheads, which were hard to find. Now I always thought, this was for Andrew’s benefit. But maybe it was for his own benefit. Or maybe he was trying to displace Sarah from Andrew’s affections, whatever those were.

If the Nodes represent connections with others (Tyl), then this seems apt.
The Lunar Eclipse was aligned with Andrew’s Mercury in Pisces, Beatrice’ Nodes 14 Pisces, and Eugenie’s SA Venus and Mars. I’d like to add Edward VIII, the Duke of Windsor’s natal Chiron, 16 Virgo into the mix. Focus of numerous scandals, Edward also put his own brother in a very challenging position. The transiting Moon’s Nodes are either now at 16 or 17 Pisces/Virgo, depending on which source I’ve looked at. Perhaps this underlines all the myriad connections, victims and saviours, sacrifice and the devil being in those Virgo details?
And re the Libran New Moon tomorrow, 28 Libra, it squares Andrew’s Venus/Mars in Capricorn. By some tangled ‘chance’ it also squares the Duke of Windsor’s Mercury, 27 Cancer, and sits on the Progressed Descendant for his abdication in December, 1936. The official publication date for Virginia Giuffre’s memoir coincides with the New Moon.

News that the Met Police are investigating allegations that Andrew instructed his police protection officer to find information on Virginia that he could use against her. There’s quite a bit of synastry between Andrew and the Met, not least the fact that the Met’s O degree Mercury in Scorpio square Uranus 2 Aquarius lands right on Andrew’s Scorpio Moon, all of which is being triggered by transit Pluto currently. Again, Andrew was warned regarding the appalling human rights record of that country, his daughters also were involved and have received gifts of money and jewellery, but in typical fashion he chose to ride roughshod over any advice. The Cardinal nature of the Windsors and the many Royal charts means a battering from Neptune for the foreseeable future. Historically there have been similar episodes where those second in line to the throne have been persistent trouble makers. One of the most famous was George Plantagenet, who as Duke of Clarence (1449-1478) also had a huge sense of entitlement and lust for wealth which led him into trouble. He ended up being killed in the Tower of London, supposedly by being drowned in a vat of Malmsey wine, after one plot too many against his brother, King Edward IV. . His son and his daughter both ended being executed as well under the Tudors.
That’s quite a Scorpio stellium Andrew Lownie has there, useful for research as you say Marjorie, but perhaps also explaining the intense, if not obsessive, quality in the book. I do still find it all a bit personal, Scorpios can be vengeful. Who knows.

I know two people who worked for Andrew and Fergie at Royal lodge who thought they were lovely employers encouraging kind and thoughtful (somewhat flies in the face of public comment I know!) and their staff stayed a long time. I also know people who worked for William and Kate, who hated it, in particular William who they found difficult, very bad tempered and only inclined to do what he wanted to do! The biography has been described as a “hatchet” job by some reviewers. Unfortunately, one suspects that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has made Lownie’s job easy as they have both been excessively stupid and venal over the years. There is lots of dirt being dished but quite a bit of it is hearsay that would probably would not stand up to close scrutiny (particularly the sections about Andrew’s supposed sexual activities as a teenager). What gives the gossip legs is the Prince’s long term connection to Epstein and his well documented grifting for money, the latter in part probably driven by the need to prop up the finances of his hopelessly impecunious ex wife. What the book does not explain is how Andrew ended up in this position. Given it is the biographers job to elucidate not just what a person does but also the reasons why they behave in a particular way then the book is a failure.
I have been unable to find a date of birth for Andrew Lownie the writer of the most recent hostile ‘biography’, it would have been interesting to get some insight into his character. I am a bit suspicious of his motives, he seems to harbour a peculiar loathing towards Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson that I find excessive. As far as I can see the couple’s worst crimes (based on factual evidence) are stupidity and greed.

If only he had maintained that image & behaviour in his private life, he would’ve served the RF well. Charles was proclaimed king on 10th Sept 2022 10:00 a.m. BST. It’s not a great chart with Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all retrograde. Liz Truss’s PM chart had similar.
Midheaven was at 1 Leo 59. Tr Pluto is now almost exactly opposite at 1 Aq 22.

The last transit of Neptune in Aries did not produce a child king, unless you count Queen Victoria’s eldest son, the future Edward VII. His wayward ways forced him to testify in court about an adulterous relationship, the first and only British royal to do so. The French fondly remember him because he spent a lot of tome in Paris brothels. The Prince de Galles Avenue and Hotel (Prince of Wales) are named after him. As king, he favored the Entente Cordiale with France that helped to turn the former enemies into allies in WWI.
It gets worse. The Mail has obtained a bombshell email sent by Andrew in which he says he has given Virginia’s DOB and US social security number to his Met bodyguard and asked him to dig up dirt on her. Where did he get her social security number from? This sounds very illegal and surely can’t just be swept under the carpet because he’s the king’s brother?
Andrew hasn’t really given up anything. He hasn’t been in the public sphere so no longer using those titles makes no difference to him except maybe pride/ego?
In his statement he says he will no longer use those titles but he still carries them. Lots of word play by the media that is not entirely accurate.

Angie, I agree. I’m always shocked by conflations of Harry with Andrew. Andrew was accused of one of the worst crimes imaginable and paid £12 million to silence the alleged victim.
Andrew gave up his titles— but not really. He’s not going to use them, but he has them. They haven’t done as letters patent.
He isn’t being investigated for the Epstein things and he isn’t helping law enforcement, although anyone else with his knowledge would have to.
Astrologically that Andrew Neptune did a number on QEII who had impeccable judgment for most of her reign.
Andrew is indeed a pivotal figure. The rot, which existed before with respect to the Duke of Windsor and others, is now irreversible. This leads to the end of the monarchy in 2036, which I believe will be brought on by a final dramatic conflict between Prince Harry and his brother King William V. I believe Harry will turn into a republican partly out of jealousy and spite, partly to avenge his mother against the Firm. Harry is even more complex and destructive than Andrew. They are cut from the same cloth as Edward VIII. Blame their mothers if you want, but it is sibling rivalry at its worst.
The conflict between the brothers could reignite, if as commentators are suggesting, that William, as King, will remove the Sussex title from Harry and Meghan, and erase them from the Royal website. At the moment Harry appears totally defeated in his recent public appearances.

One interesting aspect regarding Virginia Guiffre’s astrology is that her exact Sun in Leo opposition Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius ties into Andrew’s 1st house Uranus, the Sun in Charles’s coronation chart, as well as the late Queen’s Leo Moon/Neptune midpoint. There’s something uncanny and fated about it.

I completely agree with you. I also believe this government lockdown is going on in part because Trump doesn’t want congress to vote on the bill releasing the Epstein files. How strange that Republicans continue doing it when they know they are going to be blamed because they are the party in power and because Democrats request for health credits to be continued is actually popular. I’m as big as Royalist as can be but finished the Lownie book shocked by the greed and corruption of both the Duke and Duchess and amazed that Prince Philip did not do more to intervene. He must have had a good idea about what was going on and surely could have put Andrew in his place.

However I disagree with it being her stud manager, Lord Porchester. I think it was her equerry , whom she adored and when he died she was absolutely devestated. She personally arranged his funeral and he is the only non-royal to be put in the royal’s cemetery(?)
Some people assumed he was gay, but there is absolutely nothing to be found about his love life, other than that he was completely devoted to her.

Royal biographer Robert Lacey, doesn’t think so. He said: “Opinions vary on Plunket’s sexuality,” and he quoted a fellow Guards officer who said: “He was one of those lucky characters who was just neutral.”
Charles Higham has a different take. He said: “Even if her royal duty had not been utterly binding, she could never have entered into a relationship with him, because he was homosexual.”
Plunket however was not the marrying kind. Possibly gay or asexual, his name was never linked to that of any woman or man, and with his terrific sense of humour he would have been amused at occasional suggestions in the press that he and the Queen were more than just good friends.
I don’t say he wasn’t gay. But I had a gay friend who in offering comfort to a woman friend, who was going through a rough time in her life. It didn’t last for very long. But it did happen.
The late Queen, obviously thought the world of this man, and went to great lengths, to honour him after his death with the funeral that she planned and his final resting place being in the Royal Graveyard at Frogmore.
He was made a Lieutenant Colonel not long before his death and a Knight Commander of the Victorian Order. These had to mean something.
I am very late to this thread-but curiosity led me to look up Patrick Plunket’s data. He was born 8th of Sept. 1923 London. HMQ2 died in 2022 on what would of been his 99th birthday!!! All of his Virgo (Sun,Venus,Mercury,Nnode, and Juno) fall in her 8th house. Plus they share Leo moons. His Uranus is conjunct her Venus. They clearly had a very deep tie.
