Liam Neeson + Pamela Anderson – a Jupiterian zing

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are an unlikely romantic duo but are providing a cheering distraction with musings on their new found togetherness.  The 58-year-old Baywatch star and the 73-year-old Academy Award nominee held hands during interviews to promote their new comedy The Naked Gun, a sequel and reboot to the Leslie Nielsen-starring series of police-procedural spoofs.

He said. ‘It was like I just felt an ease with her, you know, and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific.’

All of which is reflected in their relationship chart with a composite Sun Jupiter conjunction which will bring a sense of relaxation in each other’s company and is mutually supportive. The Sun Jupiter is in a lively trine to Mars for added zest and maybe trine a Moon opposition Uranus which would bring a sparkle of mischief.

He was born 7 June 1952 Ballymena, Northern Ireland, no birth time, and she 1 July 1967 4.08am Ladysmith, BC, Canada. He has a Sun, Mercury, Venus in Gemini while she is Cancer – which may sound an odd match but I have seen it work well. His freedom-loving Uranus is conjunct her Sun and his Pluto is in a passionate conjunction to her Venus – so he will need his own space as well as closeness.

She has an Aries Moon and he a Sagittarius Moon – so they will understand where each other is coming from.

What is intriguing is their interaction with each other’s Nodes. His Jupiter in Taurus opposition Mars in Scorpio sits on her Taurus North/Scorpio South Node axis. And her Venus opposition Aquarius Midheaven dovetails with his North Node in Aquarius opposition South Node in Leo.

Pamela Anderson has been married five times while he has remained unwed since his former wife Natasha Richardson was killed after a skiing accident in 2009.

Their ‘fated’ North Node connection will have drawn them together and the Jupiter boost in their relationship chart is always a good sign since it softens rough edges and is morale-boosting in both directions. It will offer a strong friendship though need not necessarily translate into a happy-ever-after scenario.

It may seem in ghoulish but it sparked a memory of Natasha Richardson’s untimely death after hitting her head in an accident in the snow in Canada. She was born 11 May 1963 5pm London. Relocating her chart to the location where she has her accident near Montreal put her Mars exactly on the Ascendant opposition Saturn on the Descendant. Mars Saturn can be accident prone and that location was clearly red-flagged.

  1. Marjorie, thanks for posting on this dynamic couple (if a couple is what they will be). Pamela being the iconic figure she is, will outshine Liam on that count. Famous and accomplished as Liam is, he’s no archetype like Pamela. She seems to be destined to express the vitality of womanhood from youth through to old age. She is refusing to be the old crone! It is really remarkable how she has re-created herself in the media as an older, resourceful woman, wrinkles, no makeup and all. She’s the only woman actress who has made it past 40 as an enduring, attractive female symbol (though there are folks who would argue with that). Women, of course, love her for it. Also interesting is that she should reappear in a big way at the same time as Ghislaine Maxwell, who may be dark side of female symbolhood.

Having natal Venus in Leo square her Gemini ascendant from the 4th of home has extra staying power in her case, with Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Neptune at roughly the same degree on either side of the descendant as ‘wingmen’. Mercury and Neptune are trine. Mars and Neptune in the 5th of entertainment give her the dreamy sex appeal, though in real life I suspect she may be hard to manage in a non-sexual sense for the men in her life. No woman with Mars in the 5th opposing Moon/Saturn in Aries is going to be a pushover.

She has Jupiter in Leo in the 3rd of personal communications, which points to her aura of glamour, even without the makeup. The Jupiter is semi-sextile her Sun in the first in Cancer, so on the personal side she’s more of a home body (which her history apparently bears out). In many ways her chart understates her enormous fame, but her Venus is in Leo and Neptune in Scorpio, both fixed signs. Staying power.

It’s also notable that Pamela’s is a night chart, so her Venus and Mars have extra stamina as night rulers. In a day chart they would be ‘outshone’. Nonetheless, her Sun is prominent in Cancer in the first. The day planets, Jupiter and Saturn, are also strengthened being located in day signs (Leo and Aries). Considering her accomplishments as an actress are relatively minor (in comparison to say, Meryl Streep), maybe Pamela’s endurance in the fickle world of TV and movies comes from persistence (stubbornness) from Moon in Aries, plus the mysterious planetary magic of Neptune in the 5th, which combination can’t be beat, astrologically speaking.

As for Liam Neeson, he’s a great actor and it happens that Pamela’s natal Pluto is at the midpoint of his natal Pluto and Neptune, on either side. That alone, would indicate a strong attraction – power couple?. It could even become enduring since his Pluto is in fixed sign Leo. His Neptune is Libra, which is compatible by sign (air) with Pamela’s air Pluto at 18 Virgo in her 4th, which is trine Liam’s Sun in Gemini (also air). At least they will talk to each other – and enjoy her Virgo cooking – which he will like with Jupiter in Taurus, conjunct her North Node. They will enjoy the best of each other that way.

However, her Cancer home-loving Sun is square Liam’s intellectual Libra SaturnRx, which could dampen the fun on her end, while her media spotlight might irritate his Irish reclusive side with Mars and Uranus in deep, tradition-oriented water signs (rather like Marilyn her author husband, Arthur Miller?). Also, his Uranus squares her Saturn. That might be a bit stormy. Anyway, one hopes it will end happily whichever way it goes.

  2. Late love is interesting. There can be a coming together for very different reasons than when you are young.

In their composite chart I see the Moon conj Chiron in Aquarius and Pluto conj N. Node in Virgo. So a relationship that draws in deep pain, and an invitation for that to be held and healed in some way. The composite Mercury in Cancer, conj. Saturn gives a gravitas with those deep emotions…. a chance to simply feel them in a crucible… again.. another chance for healing. That Mercury/Saturn are also trine Neptune with the N. Node in Pisces. A certain “spiritual” connection.

At least… this is what I hope they find with each other. 🙂

And, yes, their synastry connections with each other’s nodes bind them together.
One never knows what the relationship staying power is, however, that’s irrelevant!
They seem important for each other now!!
