Millions of Americans will lose health insurance and thousands will die appears to be the prediction if Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill is passed later this week. Slashing Medicaid funding to help offset the tax cuts and new spending has unsettled even a few Republicans.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the legislation would slash Medicaid spending by more than $1 trillion and that nearly 12 million people would lose their health insurance. When combined with the expiration of Obamacare subsidies at the end of this year and the other regulatory changes being made, an estimated 17 million Americans could lose health coverage over the next decade.
Obamacare (Affordable Care) was signed into being on 23 March 2010 at 11.56 am Washington, DC, and is under discouraging pressures in the next three years with tr Pluto continuing to oppose the Mars this year for a trapped, blocked mood. And tr Neptune Saturn moving in hard aspect to the Cardinal Grand Cross of Saturn opposition Sun square Moon opposition Pluto till late 2027 which could be devastating. The one hopeful (though contradictory) influence is Solar Arc Jupiter starting to opposes Saturn and then conjunct the Sun in 2026/27 before proceeding on to square the Moon and Pluto by 2030 which looks a good deal more upbeat. Not entirely down and out but the coming year looks highly stressed and distressed.
Medicaid, 30 July 1965, is road-blocked at the moment with Solar Arc Mars square Pluto; and panicked and undermined in 2027 with SA Neptune square the Mars. In 2027 as well tr Pluto will oppose the Sun for two years of being ground down and put through the wringer.
The Inauguration chart’s 6th house (= health) Moon square Mars, now exact by Progression is certainly proving accurate.
Unfortunately, the Uranus transit to Trump’s ascendant may be exhibiting itself as increasing signs of cognitive decline due to aging. Just a few hours ago, he had problems responding to a journalist’s question about the expected average length of detention for detainees at the ICE facility he was visiting. His response was to explain how much he loves being a resident of Florida in a move that can be charitably described as ‘all bob and no weave.’ Probably a sign of the pressures being created by his rush to pass his “Big Beautiful Bill”, which is palpably unpopular with his popular base, as well as the real majority of Americans – the undecideds. As time passes more and more detail leaks out to the public, and the worse his numbers gets. It is what it is. And the fact that the transit is only in its first pass means that Trump is entering distinctly choppy waters.

I just want it to be on record that Uranus is very near an exact square — degree and minute — to Trump’s ascendant at 29 Leo 56, based on his birth time (June 14, 1946 at 10:54 AM EST, Queens, NY). It has 2 more passes after this first one, as Uranus will retrograde back into Taurus before going direct again and returning to Gemini in late April 2026 for the duration. Will be exact square to Trump’s ASC this first time on Saturday, July 5.
We’ll see what happens. Since this involves his ascendant, maybe there’s an incident involving his appearance or basic vitality?
Perhaps there will be an instance in which his declining health suddenly becomes impossible for anyone to ignore, and that his minions and the right-wing media will not be able to cover up. Something seems likely to shake him up a bit, to say the least, or else it may affect how he appears/is seen. Leo ASC has granted him the larger -than-life persona he has become known for, but that seems likely to be challenged in some way. Maybe it’s this big steaming piece of crap of a budget bill that gets passed, and people realize en masse that they’ve been hoodwinked. Gee, imagine that.
I went back to the last hard aspect Uranus made to his ASC, which was the opposition in 2003. This would have put Uranus in his 7th, typically associated with a divorce, but he had split with his second wife, Marla Maples, in 1997, and apparently had met Melania Knauss but hadn’t yet married her. Most significant event that seems to be associated with him that year was his vocalized opposition to the Second Iraq War initiated by then President George W. Bush.
Seems ironic that he would now be president and engaged in saber rattling with Iran. Hard to say with Uranus, but there could be a sudden new development on that front also.
Clarence: Thanks for your comment. I too have been waiting for the effect of of the upcoming exact square to T’s ascendant. Interesting from the point of view of learning what his chart expresses when he is so contradictory and unpredictably predictable (though he probably would not appreciate being an ongoing experiment in astrology!).
The thing about T’s chart is the way it is packed with offsetting influences, like his natal Sun/Moon opposition, his Venus/Saturn conjunction in the 11th, and especially his Jupiter Rx trine to Sun/Uranus. Just when something looks about to give him a whack, the offsetting influence gives him support.
Also, for some time, progressed Venus and Jupiter have been conjoined, while they square the natal Venus/Saturn conjunction. A square may be challenging, but it can nonetheless be protective when Venus, which rules his midheaven, is involved. At the same time, progressed Mars is approaching an exact conjunction to his natal chiron while progressed midheaven is close to an exact conjunction to natal Pluto. On another front, transiting Neptune/Saturn (usually the bad guys) are trine (an easy, winning aspect) to T’s Ascendant. Also, his progressed Sun at 8 Virgo in the 1st house, is sextile (another easy aspect) to his natal Mercury at 8 Cancer in the 11th house of good fortune with associates.
All of that is to say I think the aspects indicate more external forces, rather than personal health ones bringing issues to the fore (like when a President decides to bomb Iran). Uranus the planet of surprises does rule T’s 6th house cusp of health at 1 Aquarius, so never say never as things may be going on in the background with his health. There have been some visible indications of medication, like his blotchy hands, but he’s got the best of doctors too. All the same, I think the unpredictabilty of Uranus would express more in T’s visible career area, being situated in his 10th house by transit, and in the 11th of friends and associates (and Congress) by progression.
Transiting Uranus at 29 degrees Taurus on the midheaven is in an exact T-square to T’s Ascendant, opposite his 7th house cusp. If the natal time is exact, T’s Uranus rules both his 6th house of health at 1 Aquarius, as well as his 7th house of doctors, partners and open enemies (“others”) at 29 Aquarius. The 6th house represents the state of a person’s health, his day to day work environment and duties, domestic servants and personal assistants, and the like. The “other person” of the 7th plays the role of supporter or puts up interference, arising from the prior house. So a person’s doctors are usually represented by the 7th (though not surgeons, who are represented by the 8th). Physicians are people who objectively examine or interfere with the body of the person represented by the 1st.
But at 29 degrees, Uranus is more unpredictable than usual since it bridges a coming change of signs. Trump’s natal 29 Leo Ascendant is square the transiting Uranus, so it’s doubly unpredictable. Uranus can bring success as well as failure, and sometimes both at the same time.
Anyway, he doesn’t care 2 hoots with his natal Mars on the Ascendant about the chaos he sows in the world (especially with progressed Mercury of NEWS almost exactly conjunct now to his natal Mars at 26 Leo). So the ‘war’ within his chart goes on, back and forth, and he carries on as before.
