Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” – a sweeping multi-trillion dollar tax breaks package – shortened to Triple B by his advisers, has evoked wry smiles from economists. They point out that “Triple B” is the tag that credit ratings groups use to designate the lower threshold of investment grade assets, before they become “junk”, with rising default risk.
The FT commented that the “BBB” tag could soon look decidedly unfunny. “The only silver lining in this sordid saga is that if anything can curb Trump’s wilder instincts, it is probably those rising bond yields.”
The bill as it stands still has to get through the Senate with a few Republicans becoming increasingly uneasy about rising debt levels especially as Moody’s has just stripped away America’s AAA rating.
Democrats fiercely opposed the bill and warned that the cuts could have dire consequences for millions of lower-income Americans.
The Congress vote at 6.30am 22 May is not too revealing – though it does connect by aspect the celestial shifts with a trapped 9th house Pluto trine a hidden 12th house Gemini Sun conjunct Uranus sextile Neptune in Aries and Saturn in final degree Pisces.
I am beyond sick and tired of Trump’s pinball politics (sorry Americans) but what intrigues me at this moment is the Inauguration chart. Most obviously it has a control-freak, bullying Sun Pluto conjunction opposition Mars. But it is another aspect which I cannot quite quantify. The Mars opposition Mercury (= running arguments) squares onto a 6th house Libra Moon conjunct the Black Moon opposition Chiron. The Progressed Moon will conjunct the BML and square Mars exactly late this July so whatever that 6th house Moon represents will come sharply into focus.
In mundane astrology, the 6th house rules public administration, the health service, the armed forces, civil service workers, the workers, the management of food.
The Moon refers to the masses – i.e. the electorate rather than the ruling classes; with some reference to women’s issues as well.
The only two past presidents, whose Inauguration times I could tie down with a 6th house Moon were Abraham Lincoln in 1861 and Franklin Roosevelt in 1941. The second during World War 11 had a Scorpio Moon on the focal point of a Fixed T square as war time loomed. Not exactly the same but similar. The first for Abe Lincoln had a 6th house Sagittarius Moon.
In general terms a focal point Cardinal Moon, as this year has, suggests a hair-trigger emotionality and a tendency to take offence. Which makes sense of the present climate in the White House. The Moon opposition Chiron hints at emotional wounding which could/should evoke sympathy for the have-nots but does not seem to remotely. Maybe the Black Moon casts a malevolent shadow.
Anyway I am puzzled by that Moon so any Mundane experts do pitch in.

– Civil servants
– Soldiers/Military personnel
– Migrant farmhands
– Food distributors
All will likely be emotionally burned out, morally injured, and dangerously close to snapping. Add BML, and you’ve got that sharp, silent fury from the people who’ve suffered in silence too long. These frontline groups are carrying the full weight of institutional neglect. And when the Progressed Moon hits that pressure point in late July? Expect eruptions: protests, strikes, resignations, and whistle-blowers breaking rank.
Agriculture and food supply are ruled by the 6th house are under threat. Supply chain breakdowns, labour shortages, or food security scandals aren’t just possible. They’re likely.
My other thought of this 6th house placement and a hugely angry public is if Trump dares revive forced conscription and dragging Americans into a proxy war. We do seem closer to World War 3 than at any other time in the last 35-40 years. If he does though, this chart says the people won’t go quietly. They won’t die for someone else’s war. They’ll blow the whistle, the siren, and the whole damn fuse.

I have noticed that the three rating agencies downgraded US credit rating, which means the economy is going in a wrong direction, downward trend. This is definitely going to result in high unemployment and high inflation, the Fed(Jerome Powell) is going to find it difficult to cut interest rates, even if he wants to, but we will see. But I wonder how much of his erratic behavior is intended to keep us all on edge, focused on the next new shiny little catastrophe he’s creating, in order to distract us all from his latest dictatorial edicts?
I agree thar Trump’s chaos is a distraction from his actual goals just like the mass and random firings of government workers by DOGE was a distraction from its actual goal which was to collect massive amounts of government data on as many Americans as possible.
In my post down thread I should have mentioned that if there is a domestic terrorist attack that Trump and his minions will use it as a pretext to invoke martial law.
We’re already halfway there with their public musings about suspending habeas corpus.
Interesting that the only other times the Moon was in the 6th house of the inauguration chart were during presidential terms that coincided with U.S. Uranus returns. That points to a major national turning point occurring now over the next three years. It’s likely to transform the national character and our role in the world as profoundly as the Civil War and World War 2.
What could it be on a tangible level? Well, we’re already seeing it. Tensions around labor, immigration, bureaucracy, U.S. led globalization transitioning to increased nationalism, populism, health care, labor being disrupted by emerging technologies like AI. If you use the Sagitariius Ascendant, Uranus will be in the 7th house of enemies. If you use the Scorpio Ascendant as I do, it will be in the 8th house of massive death and major financial disruption, which of course is the toll of all major wars. Seeing this and knowing that President Xi has resolved to end the matter of Taiwan by 2027, the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, and that he is actively preparing for an attack, I am not confident that at the end of Trump’s term the US Navy will prevaill over the Chinese in the Western Padific. The issue then becomes whether this escalates into a nuclear conflict wtih Trump and/or Vance making life-and-death decisions for humanity. This explains in my view the Moon in Libra in the 6th house conjunct Black Moon opposite Chiron in the term chart. The 6th house represents the military, and their preparedness, loyalty and morale will be critical. If this view is correct, relations with China could worsen considerably this summer in anticipation of these events. Trump’s natal Moon is also in Libra; by 2027 Saturn will oppose it by reaching a conjunction to the term chart Chiron. In 2028, Saturn in Taurus will conjunct transiting Chiron square Pluto. Trump may prefer peace but he may be pushed by Chinese contempt into a war he is particularly ill-equipped to handle because he will have weakened his country and armed forces severely with a terminally incompetent Defense Secretary before it begins. I do not believe this will be the end of the world but it could be close, and I prefer not to think about the environmental damage this conflict could bring. I think the 2027 world war will be known as the downfall of the American empire. In the long run, this may be a very good thing. In the short term, it will be traumatic for many. I think China would probably lose but not at the hands of the US, rather a coalition of many countries with India being on the front line and bearing the brunt of the fighting and suffering.

Trump wants tariffs to protect America’s union labor. No tax on tips is about service workers. No tax on overtime is targetting union labor. Tax deductions for American made cars. The UAW. American muscle cars.
Then on inaugeration day, the nodes had slipped into Pisces nn-Virgo sn. As a factory, the nodes take in raw material and produce finished goods.
Even the idea that the poor will be hurt are provisions that able bodied adults without children must work to receive Medicaid and funding cuts to states that have made Medicaid available to illegal immigrants. Ending the illegal immigration is about American wages, especially construction.

Is the 6th house showing poverty for the masses in the world ?
Off the top of my head 6th house – day to day activities, folk magick, daily rituals, animals, servants, health of the body, could indicate another pandemic – at the rate RFK is going it’s not an impossibility – food and food delivery systems. Migrants who come into the country, work the fields, are 6th house. Food is spoiling on the land right now because the migrants won’t come here to work. I recently read that tons of food is spoiling at USAID because they can’t distribute it anymore, thanks to Trump.
