1. I am starting to feel sorry for her, she comes across as very desperate for love and attention and lacking in self awareness in a tragic way. She tries so hard and she needs so much. Everything she has done since they left has been informed by the desire to show the public who she really is, because then we “will” love her. The original series and the oprah interview were to tell us she was the innocent victim of terrible racists, the podcast was about negative stereotypes, but more specifically, names she has been called in the past. The whole point of it was to tell us she was “none” of those things, a diva, a dumb blonde, an ambitious woman..and perhaps her guests weren’t too? Then these series is about telling us she is actually adorable and her friends love her..she ends the series literally by saying: “thank you all for loving me so much”. And the more she tries the more the general public is put off by the insatiable thirst for love and adoration. She talks about authenticity so much, but her actions are all for show..the faux royal tours, the performative tours of Los Angeles, the endless awards they receive (buy?), yet she doesnt see the contradictions. How can you build a humanitarian profile based on single handedly liberating women and girls from the kitchen by a letter she wrote in school and then try to become an stepford wife parody icon? How can you build a victim profile about your awful time in the royal family and then desperately cling to titles and fake team and posh biscuits englishness? It’s making a lot of people cringe and watch between their fingers, with fascination and horror.
   I’d love to see the synastry with her mother. I think deep down she’s a little girl that has a dad she doesnt respect wrapped around her finger while craving the love of her absent mum.
   Genuinely starting starting to feel second hand embarrassment and sadness for her.

2. Apparently Neflix renewing for a 2nd series!

   • All of the episodes were filmed last year and the series has been split into two. Apparently selling the second part as a renewal, something that Netflix often does reluctantly even if previous series have a fan base, is just clever marketing spin.

     The truth is that whether it’s liked or not her material attracts a lot of attention so I don’t think Netflix cares whether people love it or it hates it as long as the viewing figures are high

3. We’re fortunate to have royal charts echoing back through time, so tracing family patterns is possible in a way that doesn’t happen with ‘ordinary’ families. When important events happen in royal families, we also usually have dates to work with.
   The wider disruptions caused as a result of Harry and Meghan’s marriage and relationship are relatively minor, historically, when compared with those sparked by kings and queens. Yet fascinating, as many of us will have experience of a disruptive family member or in-law causing rifts and rows.

   Harry and Meghan’s story does, I think, connect with Henry 8th, Anne Boleyn, plus the late Duke and Duchess of Windsor – as Lumiere suggests. Both those historical unions caused massive disruption in the UK, particularly Henry and Anne of course. Both Henry and Edward VIII were Cancer Suns too, as was Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, and it is Meghan’s rising sign.

   Since H&M married on the anniversary of Anne Boleyn’s execution, I wondered about that era. There are thought provoking links. Just in the late degree fixed signs we have:

   Henry VIII – Nodes 29 Scorpio/Taurus, MC 28 Taurus
   Edward VIII – Venus 23 Taurus
   Wallis Simpson – Nodes 27 Aquarius/Leo, Uranus 21 Scorpio
   Harry – Nodes 29 Taurus/Scorpio – reverse of Henry VIII’s Nodes
   Meghan – Uranus 26 Scorpio
   Princess Diana – Nodes 29 Leo/Aquarius, plus Moon 25 Aquarius, Uranus 23 Leo, Venus 24 Taurus

   Worth noting that Diana (and therefore Harry) was descended directly from Anne Boleyn’s sister Mary.

   There are also links with Henry VIII’s mutable t-square of Virgo Mars, Gemini Jupiter, and Sagittarius Neptune, which slots into H&M’s composite Neptune and Mars – confusion and deception, but perhaps also inspiration and spirituality can be found with effort? Mars with Neptune could also symbolise an assertive or noisy ghost!

   • Just an aside on Harry. His proper name is, of course, Henry and I recall when he was born it was noted that there hadn’t been a Henry in the family since VIII because of the bad associations. So it’s always seem ironic that he has lived up to the name and of course ginger haired and bearded

     Further to your post below about Meghan / Roger Federer birthdays being close together – let’s not forget that Meghan is born about a week after Charles / Diana’s wedding – so in some ways I feel she is the embodiment of that. The Uranus in the late Scorpio degree is I believe conjunct QE2’s Saturn and transited by Pluto during her Annus Horribilis.

       I realised Meghan shares her birthday day, 4th August, with the late Queen Mother too. Briefly checked the QM’s chart and there’s the Henry VIII mutable t-square echoes again, complete with a Mars-Neptune link. The Queen Mother had Mars 25 Gemini, Neptune 28 Gemini, opposing Saturn 29 Sagittarius, with BML 28 Virgo. Henry had Mars 26 Virgo square Neptune 25 Sagittarius, opposing Jupiter 24 Gemini. H&M’s composite Mars, 29 Virgo square Neptune, 25 Sagittarius.

       It could be interesting to see whether the September 21st Solar Eclipse at 29 Virgo, opposing Saturn in Pisces, and Neptune at 0 Aries, produces anything striking. It connects with the 1066 UK chart’s Pisces Moon square Uranus in Sagittarius, as well as that H&M composite Mars/Neptune.

       Makes you wonder about the mysterious patterns of the Cosmos doesn’t it?

       • Certainly a lot of patterns and common placements there. I guess we have to wait until almost the 2040s to see what happens with the next generation i.e. William’s children with George being born in 2013.

     • Hi GD, fun comment about the name Henry, but just as an FYI that ‘note’ isn’t actually true. Prince Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales died in 1612 before he could succeed his father James 1st of England to the throne. Henry’s younger brother Charles 1st inherited instead, and we all know what happened to him. I wonder what the impact to history would have been if there had been a Henry IX instead 🙂 Both Charles II and James II had sons called Henry and in more recent times, one of George Vs sons (i.e. uncle to the late Queen and her ‘spare’ before Margaret was born) was Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester who died in the 1970s. QE2 was very close to her Gloucester cousins so it’s actually quite possible that Harry was (partly) named for him.

4. I watched it. I used to follow her Tig blog that had a really nice vibe back in the day. I’m not a Meghan hater but she lost it a bit. With her Libra Moon, the lifestyle/beauty industry suits her. She could have done better if she revisited her blog and followed that feeling. Now, if H and M had gone to Africa (excellent for H in astrocartography) they would have prospered immensely and a reconciliation with his family could have been orchestrated in time. I feel sad for both of them. Harry isn’t the intellectually challenged person the media wants to portray him. He has good money making potential and I think he will end up ok. Not so sure about her though. She’s starting to come across as desperate.

6. I was intrigued to see chiron sitting on the composite ascendant for M and H.
   I think it’s key to how they are perceived as a couple and how they perceive the world.

   I haven’t read much about it, however, my husband and I have this in our composite. It plays out regularly in our lives and I am VERY grateful that we are mature and wise from life people!! Outwardly, we appear to be pleasant and fairly normal people! However… yikes!

   Chiron on the composite ascendant is a wound trigger. From the outside in, our experience is that “what has not been addressed” becomes apparent. We seem to be a mirror that reflects back to a person, a situation (exploding plumbing), mechanics… etc. If we didn’t have such a good sense of humour, it would be an issue.

   And, those outer circumstances also trigger OUR wounds! and we end up processing those…. often over a multi year period, actually!

   It’s very specifically a “thing” for sure. So much so that, after 17 years of marriage, we are aware that it is best for us to sort of live “on the edge of town”. To be involved as needed, but also to contain that Chiron energy.

   I suspect that M & H do NOT have the maturity or skill to deal with this small little asteroid… neither the projections onto them from the world, nor what is brought forward in each individually. It is not easy and requires a lot.. awareness and humour is key!

7. Agree with GD that people were very happy for Harry and Meghan, and their sunny wedding day seemed to promise good things for the future. Although for strange ancestral vibes, the date did coincide with the execution of Anne Boleyn in 1536…

   Something else I noticed is that Roger Federer was born 8th August, 1981, just four days later. As a very young player he had what might be called ‘anger issues’, but had therapy. As tennis fans know, he was always calm, polite, and gracious in his amazing professional career. He retired in September 2022. That month, Queen Elizabeth II died. A number of very awkward moments accompanied H&M’s UK visit that month, and it was obvious many people would have liked Meghan to ‘retire’ too. Federer’s Cancer Mars is in the 11th, widely square that Jupiter and Saturn in Libra he shares with Meghan. His Moon is in Scorpio though, so possibly M’s Libran Moon with Jupiter and Saturn is one of the keys to her personality?

   • Absolutely the Saturn-Moon is a key. In fact both she and Harry have Saturn aspects to their moons and both have parental issues. They play the victim where Saturn is trying to get them to take responsibility and become their own authorities.

     Meg’s saturn-moon causes her to play it safe and do the expected thing as especially as its in Libra – following paths others have already trodden. Bear in mind that it’s not the projects she chooses which are necessarily eye-rolling but their poor execution.

     And when things go wrong (see marriage #1 and being part of the Royals) she runs to her safe space rather than face up to making it work by adapting herself. For me that’s a big part of the problem for Saturn-Moon people – they’re inflexible because they don’t have the emotional tools to persevere, to accept frustration and tension as part of the problem-solving process and of course, they are locked into their own rigid thoughts, structures and rituals.

   • I’d add that I think there is a conflicted personality that’s not so obvious from the chart. Her Leo Sun-Mercury in the 1st and Aries MC wants to be gungho and try new things but then the Cancer-Libra squares bring up a carping voice which says “oh be careful. you’d better do this perfectly or people will think you’re rubbish”.

     It will be interesting to see what happens when transiting Neptune and Saturn oppose that Libra stellium. Neptune dissolves Saturn’s rigid boundaries. Saturn may at the same time expect her to take responsibility. But at her age and with the wealth and so on around her, I’m not sure she has the motivation to reassess and take onboard their messages.

   But the question is – what is the place of birth: Montecito, Netflix headquarters…?

9. I never really understood neither her not this relationship. I remember distinctly one astrologer who knows a thing or two about synastries being baffled by what do they see in each other (or maybe more what does she see in him). Then stepped in Alice Portman and showed the antiscia and contrascia synastries, and given all those are kinds of shadow, or – a kind of a shadow, I got it to mean there was a subconscious pull of each other towards the other person of the pair.

   And when I say I don’t get her, I never know is she evil and calculating or simply damaged and pushed to anxious by her subconscious in the wrong direction? As Judi Dench’s character says in that film with Cate Blanchett: Is she a sphinx or simply stupid? Something like that (I don’t think Meghan iz stupid, but you get the gist).

   What was she thinking when getting together with Harry, what kind of life she thought that might be, did she plan it all along to flee London and the UK or was it something she did a bit spitefully when not getting her way… I have so many questions.

   • Their archetypes match up and drive other elements of their charts.

     Their closest aspect to each other is her Virgo Ceres in 2h trine his Capricorn Jupiter in the 12h. She was working to build her own wealth. The Royal Family is an institution. So Harry saw in her the path to the traditonal expanded role in the Royal Family. Hence marrying Meg. She wanted to have more material wealth. Hence marrying Harry.

     Her Libra Moon is also conjunct Jupiter and Saturn which matches this aspect. Her role as married wife conjunct the Jupiter-Saturn archetype.
     His Taurus Moon is a wife of means.

     Harry’s Capricorn Jupiter rules his Sagittarius Uranus in the 11h. So the foreign rebel in exile. He wanted an expanded role but it led to his exile.

     She is a Leo north node. So consuming royalty leads to Aquarian south node output. Rebellion and exile are two potential products. Her Cancer Mars in the 12h is conjunct his Descendant. So she is the fighter in the Royal Family which activates Harry’s marriage.

     Just seems like a karmic story of two souls coming together to accomplish specific goals. I’m pretty sure Meg Sussex is the reincarnation of David Windsor replaying the abdication but not sure who Harry might have been.

       • He was Edward VIII but known as David and was called the Duke of Windsor after he abdicated. I’ve written a blog about the abdication where I compared the Abdication chart with Megxit and also Meghan and David’s natal charts and feel pretty confident they are good karmic matches.

         The karmic issue of the abdication is that it was also the beginning of his brother’s reign. So Edward VIII went into the chart set up a certain way and then switched roles with his brother, Bertie.

         The abdication is a Taurus Ascendant chart but on the Sabian symbol “a sleigh without snow”. At the abdication, Capricorn Ceres is conjunct Jupiter and Mercury in the 9h, the king’s house, all within 5 minutes orb. So Ceres is material wealth with Jupiter, the king, and Mercury, the king’s brother. But after he abdicated, he switched roles from Jupiter to Mercury. His sleigh ran out of snow and skidded to a halt. He handed the responsibility and the wealth to his brother, now King George VI, and became David Windsor, the king’s brother.

         From Edward VIII to David Windsor and Bertie York to George VI. Like David Windsor, Meg Sussex doesn’t want the responsibility (the heavy burden of responsibility in the Abdication speech) but she would like the wealth.

         Actually now I wonder if Harry might possibly be Bertie. Meg’s Ceres trine to Harry’s Capricorn Jupiter in 12h, I will have to investigate.

         • That is what I meant…the brother who became king except Harry now does not in this reincarnation. He must be….

10. There does seem to be a bit of a desperate quality to these attempts of MM to make money. I get the impression the glamorous Montecito lifestyle is vitally important to her, which makes me wonder if Leo is’nt her rising sign rather than Cancer.
    I would have thought that if the two of them just lowered their sights a bit, were a bit more realistic, they might have a happier life. But her only Earth planet is Venus and that’s afflicted by confusing Neptune.

    • Venus in Virgo isn’t a great placement either – in its fall. It wants to be loved by material means rather than allowing it to be an emotional experience that one feels. As with all mutables, the Virgo perfection will never be achieved and boundaries need to be set by saying “this is good enough”.

      I find Marjorie’s title to be apt given this and her saturn-moon putting up walls.

      • I have that GD. It is indeed rather tough. The problem is Venus just wants to be, well Venus, lolling about and enjoying the sensuality of the material world, whereas Virgo insists on intellectualising and analysing everything and that, coupled with a tendency for shyness can make it’s expression somewhat awkward. But I would say it improves with time and practice. Sometimes the best thing to do with a Venus Virgo is to go over to its opposite sign, Pisces and offer it a couple of largeish glasses of red wine to get it to chill out a bit more!

        Still, almost all of my planets are in their fall or detriment, which I’ve read can mean that there’s plenty of opportunity for life lessons to be learned.

11. The Meg’s writing says it all. Inauthentic. She’s not a calligrapher, though she promotes herself as a professional. Her writing is simply tightly squashed together little letters looking as if they are driving forward with showy flying curves driving backwards. Stasis.
    Writing exists simply to be read, yet for all the flourishes, hers is very difficult to read, tight and controlled. It’s styled for admiration and ‘elevation’, to be special and noticed and to hide the real her, if she even knows who it is. It annoys people as much as she does.
    Father issues, tension, duplicity, need to be noticed, all the things we’ve learnt and love about her, can be discerned from a graphological analysis.
    Her writing annoys as many people as she does and supports the astrology.

12. I remember article apart their departing England. Marjorie stated that once the royal act (attacking) was over, Harry would retreat into a hole to get away from the media LA etc and Meghan would need to fall back on her own resources to make money. Her blog before she met Harry (the Tig).

    Chickens coming home to roost. I hope they find something that makes them happy.

13. I think it’s Meghan’s need for constant praise that turns people off. I watched a little of the show and her friends came across as incredibly sycophantic. She just seems so desperate to be seen as perfect which is such a bore.

    • She doesn’t understand that some flaws are endearing, but the constant attention seeking is such a turn off. Plus many just can’t forgive her or him for the way they have treated the royal family or her own father, for that matter.

      • She is now claiming that her childhood meals consisted of takeaways and microwave meals. Poor Thomas Markle, he just can’t win.

        • I’m sure Thomas has his flaws, but he funded her education and seems to genuinely love her and I do feel terribly sorry for him. Sharper than a serpent’s tooth and all that.

    • Don’t you think that’s influenced by Leo in her chart. I’ve noticed people with Leo placements, particularly moon, have a strong need for adoration and admiration. It’s quite unlikable.

      • Hi Caroline. My son has a Leo moon in his 7th house. Agree with you but he has an Aq stellium and earth sign Saturn which is helping to mediate it, IMO.

14. Thanks Marjorie. I’ve not seen the programme, but nothing I’ve read about it sounds in the least bit tempting. Reminded me of some of those tone-deaf Insta postings by celebrities during the early Covid lockdowns. However, the Times today says it is comedy gold!

    I was interested to see the photo you’ve posted here. Meghan’s dress design is like a classical Greek or Roman statue of a goddess, and the silvery colour would link with the Moon. Meghan has Cancer rising, so seems to have chosen to present her lunar nature, rather than emphasise her Sun in Leo. Her many cream and white outfits send a similar Moon based message. With Harry’s 7th house of partners in Cancer adding to the lunar goddess symbolism perhaps. Cancer as universal mother comes in too. Apparently Meghan is wearing Diana’s watch in parts of this programme. Diana herself, named for a lunar goddess, wasn’t interested in cooking and as we know, had a sadly conflicted relationship with food.

    The approaching Lunar Eclipse in Virgo will be conjunct Harry’s natal Sun, and Meghan’s SA Sun. It opposes tr Saturn, which suggests limitations and possibly lessons of some kind through others. It is also opposing the tr Saturn/Nodes midpoint in Pisces, bringing in connections,friendships, and the past.

    For all their wealth and privilege, glimpses of the ‘lifestyle’ they share seem stifling and empty somehow. I am, as ever, reminded of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

15. Transiting Pluto in her 7th for another decade or so is going to continue to bring enemies out.

    Unfortunate choice of rescheduling to put the series out when Venus has just turned retrograde at her MC. Especially as it’s on a Venus-related topic – food/cookery.

    • This is an interesting question “what is it in a chart that in a person elicits a strong polarized reaction from the rest of the world” It used to be like this for Katie Price, and I think before her maybe Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton or Britney Spears. They were always in the gossip rags & tabloids getting slagged off. Go back in time would it have been Lillie Langtry, Kitty Fisher, Diana?

      Some people (always women?) just seen to rub people up the wrong way & elicit a stream of negative articles. Thankfully it does stop, as we have seen with Katie Price.

      Obviously Meghan is making money for the gossip rags, but dosent seem able to monetize her notoriety for her own benefit.

      • @Belle, interesting point here is how Paris has redone herself. Her activism against “Troubled Teen Industry” definitely comes from the right place, and even her cooking show at Netflix came off as authentic. She is, interestingly, a 1981 Sun Aquarius, therefore her outer planet placements are not dissimilar to Meghan’s. And Britney too is a 1981 native, Sadgittarius Sun.

        Another tidbit, I have gay friends who are born around that time, and they all would die for Paris, Britney and Lindsey, but those caring for royals never liked Meghan and were Team Kate. I think that the incapacity to really rally queer support is what’s undoing Meghan.
        Looking at her chart then, what’s doing that is likely the weak Uranus (I will get my coat…). But I my working theory is that to be a queer icon, you need to have very prominent Uranus. Diana famously was a Venus/Uranus in Cancer, and instantly connected with gay men in particular.

    • Perhaps MM’s natal Moon (the general public in traditional astrology) conjunct Saturn and Jupiter might indicate the “polarized reaction” from the general public, that’s quite a tricky conjunction, and if it’s a few minutes out it could be even worse with the Moon could be caught between Saturn and Jupiter.
      Combined with the possibly deluding Venus Square Neptune means her efforts to make money are ‘out of sync’ every time.

        • It’s wide, but a 10 degree orb for main aspects – opposition, trine and square – is not unusual.

        • *Jennifer, my apologies, you are quite right, I got in a muddle, I was thinking about a 10 degree orb being acceptable for the Sun, Moon and ruling planet, but it is not acceptable otherwise. It’s usually 8 degrees for the main aspects.

          On a serious note I do sense a lot of inner turmoil trying to make money from a lot of confused messages, a give away is her perma smile, always on the defensive, protecting herself, I don’t normally comment on people but I do have some compassion for those two privileged people.

    • I’m suspecting the Cancer Mars in 12th square Libra stellium is her undoing. I’d say the majority of Brits were happy for Harry to have met her and to give her a chance. But then when it all went wrong she played the victim – claiming it was racism and running away. She put peoples’ backs up against her and unless you’re into celebrity culture, she’s given nothing since to make herself likeable.

      The Libra stellium with its saturn-moon close guards who she is, so we just get woke, word salad and platitudes; we’ve never seen the children which might humanise her. Alternatively she could go run a marathon for charity, go on Dancing with the Stars.
